No professor em burnout s?o comuns atitudes negativas e de distanciamento para com os alunos e a autodesvaloriza??o profissional,fazendo com que se distancie do seu papel docente e muitas vezes desista de trabalhar. Essa s?ndrome tem afetado in?meros professores e, com isso, tivemos como quest?o norteadora deste trabalho: O professor j? desistiu de trabalhar? Discutindo aspectos da s?ndrome de burnout em Diamantina. Primeiramente foi realizado uma busca de referencial te?rico para que embas?ssemos o trabalho, sendo esse discutido no primeiro e segundo cap?tulos. O terceiro cap?tulo desta disserta??o tem como t?tulo: Burnout entre os professores de Diamantina, em que avaliou-se a preval?ncia da s?ndrome de burnout nos professores dos ?ltimos anos do ensino fundamental (sexto ao nono ano) das escolas estatuais do munic?pio de Diamantina e sua rela??o com as vari?veis sociodemogr?ficas-laborais. Foi realizado por meio de um estudo descritivo, anal?tico transversal com a aplica??o do Maslach Burnout Invenctory (MBI), e um question?rio sociodemogr?fico laboral elaborado pelos pesquisadores, ambos os question?rios autoaplic?veis. Foram realizadas an?lises descritiva, univariada e de regress?o log?stica, adotando-se n?vel de signific?ncia de p<0,05. Os resultados evidenciaram que 93% dos professores est?o acometidos pela s?ndrome em Diamantina. Ao analisarmos cada dimens?o separadamente podemos constatar que, 64,8%(57) dos professores apresentaram alto/moderado n?vel de exaust?o emocional, 80,7(71) alto/moderado baixa realiza??o pessoal, 39,8(35) alta/moderada despersonaliza??o. Houve associa??o entre exaust?o emocional n?mero de filhos, estado civil, se j? se afastou do trabalho por motivo de doen?a, se acredita que a profiss?o o est? estressando, se sente a profiss?o menos interessante. Quanto ? dimens?o despersonaliza??o, houve associa??o entre a carga hor?ria de ensino e o tempo de preparo de aula. J? em rela??o a terceira dimens?o, baixa realiza??o pessoal, houve associa??o com a vari?vel preparo de aula. Por meio da an?lise multivariada, pode-se afirmar que aqueles que n?o participam de culto possuem 4,03 vezes maior chance de se despersonalizar em rela??o aos que n?o participam; enquanto que aqueles que se dedicam ao preparo das aulas, mais de 10h t?m 93% de chance de n?o se inserirem nessa dimens?o em rela??o ?queles que se dedicam menos de dez horas. Para a baixa realiza??o pessoal, constatou-se que quem se dedica mais que dez horas ao preparo de aulas possui 76% menos chance de n?o se realizarem pessoalmente em rela??o aqueles que se dedicam menos de dez horas; Para a exaust?o emocional, constatou-se que aqueles que tem dois ou mais filhos possuem 72% menos chance de n?o se exaurirem, os que j? se afastaram do servi?o possuem 3,57 vezes maiores as chances de sofrerem exaust?o que os que n?o se afastaram e, por ?ltimo, o sentimento que a profiss?o est? menos interessante, possuem 3,04 vezes maiores as chances de se exaurirem emocionalmente. Os resultados indicam a import?ncia do entendimento e o reconhecimento dessa doen?a ocupacional na cidade de Diamantina bem como os seus fatores associados, para a inclus?o dos professores nas medidas de pol?ticas p?blicas, atividades de ensino em sa?de voltadas ao bem-estar da categoria. / Disserta??o (Mestrado) ? Programa de P?s-gradua??o em Ensino em Sa?de, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2013. / ABSTRACT Burnout syndrome (BS) is a chronic adaptive disorder that affects workers and is characterized by three stages: emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalization (DE) and low personal accomplishment (LPA). In the teacher suffering from burnout syndrome, negative attitudes and distance from students, together with self-deprecation regarding his or her professional role, distance the teacher from his or her position as an educator and often lead to abandoning of the profession completely. The syndrome has affected many teachers and as a result, the aim of this study was to explore the question: ?Has the teacher given up? Discussing aspects of burnout syndrome in Diamantina.? Firstly, a theoretical reference search was performed on which to base the study. This is discussed in the first and second chapter of the dissertation. The third chapter of the dissertation has the title: ?Burnout among teachers in Diamantina? in which the prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in teachers of the upper years of primary level (sixth to ninth grade) state schools in the municipality of Diamantina, and its relationship with sociodemographic and labor variables, is analyzed. A descriptive, analytical cross-sectional study, with the application of Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and a sociodemographic and labor questionnaire created by the researchers, was performed. Both questionnaires were self-administered. Descriptive, univariate and logistic regression analysis was performed, with a significance level of p<0.05. It was found that 93% of teachers in Diamantina suffered from Burnout Syndrome. Separate analysis of each dimension showed that 64.8% (57) of teachers had a high/moderate level of Emotional Exhaustion, 80.7% (71) had high/moderate low personal accomplishment, and 39.8% (35) had high/moderate depersonalization. There was an association between emotional exhaustion and number of children, marital status, whether the teacher had been absent from work due to illness, whether the teacher believed the profession was stressful, whether the teacher felt the profession was less interesting. There was an association between depersonalization and teaching hours and lesson preparation time. In terms of low personal accomplishment, there was an association with lesson preparation time. Multivariate analysis revealed that those that did not participate in religious services had a 4.03 times greater chance of experiencing feelings of depersonalization when compared with those who did not attend such services, while those that spent more than 10h preparing classes had a 93% chance of not experiencing such feelings, in relation to those that spent less than ten hours preparing classes. In terms of low personal accomplishment, it was found that those who dedicated more than ten hours to preparing classes had a 76% lower chance of not experiencing feelings of personal accomplishment than those who spent less than ten hours preparing classes. In terms of emotional exhaustion, it was found that those with two or more children had 72% less chance of not feeling exhausted, those that had been absent from work were 3.57 times more likely to suffer exhaustion than those who had not been absent, and, lastly, those who felt that teaching was less interesting as a profession, had a 3.04 greater chance of being emotionally exhausted. The results indicate the importance of recognizing and understanding this occupational illness in the city of Diamantina, together with its associated factors, to include teachers in public and health education policies aimed at this category.

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e retrospectivo de an?lise das programa??es anuais de sa?de do quadri?nio e dos planos municipais de sa?de referentes ? vig?ncia 2010-2013 dos munic?pios da regi?o de sa?de Montes Claros/Bocai?va com uso da pesquisa documental. A pesquisa documental foi desenvolvida em tr?s etapas: 1) Pesquisa Bibliogr?fica e levantamento de fontes prim?rias. 2) Cataloga??o e an?lise das fontes prim?rias. 3) Elabora??o da proposi??o de capacita??o. Na primeira etapa foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliogr?fica, utilizando-se refer?ncias de livros e manuais do minist?rio da sa?de; artigos cient?ficos, disserta??es e teses provenientes de bancos de dados virtuais, tais como Lilacs, Scielo, Peri?dicos Capes, entre outros. Na segunda fase seguiu-se um roteiro de an?lise e elaborou-se um instrumento contendo sete crit?rios essenciais preconizados pelo PlanejaSUS com o intuito de verificar se as PAS foram elaboradas conforme orienta??es do Sistema de Planejamento do SUS e em conson?ncia com seus respectivos Planos Municipais de Sa?de (2010-2013). Verificou-se que a maioria dos munic?pios analisados neste estudo n?o apresentou nem 50 % de atendimento aos crit?rios b?sicos recomendados. Programa de P?s-gradua??o em Ensino em Sa?de, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2013. / ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the Annual Programming of Health (APH) of municipalities in a region of health from the North of Minas Gerais aiming at the proposition of a training to managers and technicians of health using as basis the manual created by the Secretary of State for Health of Minas Gerais. It is a retrospective descriptive study of analysis of annual programming of health in a period concerning four years and of municipal plans of health regarding the duration 2010 - 2013 from municipalities of the region of health Montes Claros/Bocaiuva with use of documentary research. The documentary research was developed in three stages: 1) Bibliographic Research and survey of primary sources. 2) Cataloguing and analysis of primary sources. 3) Elaboration of the proposition of qualification. In the first stage was conducted a literature search, using references to books and manuals of the ministry of health; scientific articles, thesis and dissertations from virtual database, such as Lilacs, Scielo, Capes Periodicals, among others. In the second phase it was followed a guide analysis and it was produced an instrument containing six essential criteria recommended by PlanejaSUS with the aim of checking whether the APH were drawn up according to the guidelines of the Planning System of SUS and in line with their respective Municipal Plans of Health (2010-2013). It was found that the majority of the municipalities analyzed in this study didn't show 50 % of care for basic criteria recommended. The results that most generated negative repercussions in this analysis were complete absence of defining indicators, partial establishment of goals and partial absence or presence of definition of budgetary resources for the development of actions. The results of this research reinforce the assumptions that despite advances found in legal outline since the creation of the Unified National Health System (SUS) in respect of the consolidation of the planning of actions, mainly on APH, the municipalities still have difficulties to incorporate the established practices in an effective way. It is expected with this work to achieve better results in the elaboration of the forthcoming APH with the instituting a structured qualification proposed in this study.

Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Sa?de, Sociedade e Ambiente, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2014. / ABSTRACT Hospitals should be healthy spaces health care, going beyond the treatment of diseases with disease prevention and health promotion, contributing to the empowerment of the hospitalized person so that this can control the factors that influence their health. The present study aimed to evaluate the structure and processes to improve the quality of hospital care, diagnose the current situation of quality in customer service of a regional referral hospital, according to the standard level 1 ONA and evaluate employee knowledge of hospital about the institution who work and hospital accreditation. The vehicles of community participation, observance of healthy workplaces for health professionals and sustainable management of hospital organizations must be actively committed to planning for health promotion. The methodology used was an observational, descriptive, quantitative prospective in a public-private philanthropic hospital, state of Minas Gerais. 279 employees, of various sectors of the hospital, were interviewed in order to establish an institutional situation analysis by sector, based on the standards of the National Accreditation Organization. It was concluded that the quality is not made ??only of written processes and models, but also of people. If there is not a homogeneous understanding of the ideals of quality, its concepts and its culture, present in everyone involved in the various spheres of processes, forming a chain driven to a common goal, then there promoting change necessary to improve joint of the quality of care. We must work to establish the institutional structure involvement among professionals towards a new culture of quality standards and strengthen their economic sustainability. As proposed intervention study identified approaches for deployment of improved care processes, guided by the Institution scenario targeted research assistance and management indicators. Urge that begins a policy of developing macro and micro processes focused on customer safety at our hospital.

Embora existam informa??es acerca desta comunidade e de outras da regi?o, a exemplo Cov?o e Algodoeiro, estas informa??es est?o dispersas em projetos isolados ou condensadas correspondendo ? popula??o negra ou geral do munic?pio. Os indicadores socioambientais desta popula??o tamb?m s?o fragmentados ou aglomerados compondo o cen?rio dos dados demogr?ficos de todo o munic?pio de Diamantina. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa ? investigar os indicadores socioambientais, os agravos de sa?de e o referenciamento aos servi?os de sa?de de tr?s comunidades Quilombolas na Serra do Espinha?o Meridional. Como espec?ficos: 1) identificar a estrutura demogr?fica e a sua distribui??o espacial; 2) caracterizar os principais agravos de sa?de e 3) verificar o referenciamento aos servi?os de sa?de e a inser??o destes nos programas assistenciais e nas pol?ticas governamentais. A an?lise de dados constituiu-se de quatro fases com metodologia multicrit?rio distinta. Na primeira fase te?rica foram escolhidos os tr?s grandes requerimentos (ambiental sa?de e social) a serem utilizados na ferramenta multicrit?rio e seus respectivos pesos. Na segunda fase foram criados os crit?rios de cada requerimento e realizado um estudo forma individual, mediante revis?o bibliogr?fica e de dados comparativos de valores de cada indicador, e mediante a consulta com especialistas na ?rea, para a defini??o de pesos e a forma de avalia??o de cada indicador. In this population there are special groups, or rather traditional living in isolated regions maintaining its partially preserved cultural practices, are called quilombos. In Diamantina (MG) exists near the district of S?o Jo?o da Chapada one quilombo community called Quartel do Indai?, this population that formed since the late 30 century XVIII. Although there are information about this community and others in the region - Cov?o and Algodoeiro, this information scattered in isolated projects or condensed in order to compose the black or the general population of the municipality. The social and environmental indicators in this population are also fragmented or clusters in order to set the scene of the demographics of the entire city of Diamantina. The objective of this research is to investigate the social and environmental indicators, health problems and the referencing to health services of trhee quilombo communities in the southern Espinha?o. Specific: 1) identify the demographic structure and its spatial distribution; 2) characterize the main health problems and 3) check the referencing to health services and the inclusion of these in welfare programs and government policies. Data analysis consists of four phases with different multicriteria methodology. In the first lecture phase were chosen the three major requirements (environmental health and social) to be used in multi-criteria and their respective weights tool. In the second phase were set the criteria for each application and made a study individually, through literature and comparative data for each indicator values review, and by consulting with experts in the field, to define weights and the form of assessment each indicator. In the third phase, the multicriteria tool was created in addition to the preparation of an application (electronic table) this tool, so that any user in the future can use it easily. This electronic table allowed us to create a ranking of the situation of each community, which will help those responsible for development projects, or decision-making by public officials on actions to be taken in those communities. Finally, in the fourth stage after reading the multi-criteria analysis of information, a sensitive test was developed with Emater and Procaj agents, in order to clarify some indicators approaching the most of the current reality of these communities. The developed assessment methodology enables the visibility of communities such as quilombos and other traditional communities, since adapt some indicators in order to optimize public policies and prioritize aspects that are more precarious and priority.

Foram analisados os PPP?s dos cursos de Enfermagem e de Medicina. As categorias analisadas foram objetivo do curso, perfil do egresso e organiza??o curricular. Os resultados apontam que os curr?culos seguem as orienta??es das pol?ticas p?blicas quanto ? import?ncia do ensino em sa?de pautado no cuidado integral, especialmente no que se referem ?s categorias objetivo do curso e perfil do egresso. Programa de P?s-gradua??o em Ensino em Sa?de, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2016. / The aim of this study was to analyze, according to the guiding proposals of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, the way that the principle of comprehensiveness established by SUS, is included in the political-pedagogical projects of undergraduate courses in Nursing and Medical courses at Federal University of the Jequitinhonha and Mucuri Valleys?UFVJM, campus at Diamantina-MG. This is a study of descriptive, exploratory and qualitative approach, in which it was adopted the bibliographic and documentary design, with analysis of the Pedagogic Political Project (PPP), Curriculum Matrix and teaching plans of the subjects of these courses. PPP's of Nursing and Medical courses were analyzed. The categories analyzed were the objective of the course, graduate profile and curricular organization. The results show that the curriculums follow the guidelines of public policies on the importance of health education based on integral health care, especially as regards the aim categories of the course and egress profile. Regarding the curriculum organization, it has been found by the analysis of menus and teaching plans that health education has enabled the approach to integrality of health care during the course. It follows therefore that this principle is present in the curriculum, although, at times, it presents implicitly. It is understood that the provisions of the disciplines in which they relate to biological, ethical, social and human aspects have allowed an interdisciplinary joint, which leads to an education more committed to integral care.

Com o objetivo de investigar a concep??o dos professores de ensino fundamental (1? a 4? s?ries) sobre a sa?de do escolar, este estudo teve como amostra 45 professoras lotadas em 04 escolas p?blicas e 04 escolas privadas no munic?pio de Natal/RN. Para a coleta dos dados foi utilizado um question?rio semi-estruturado, sendo os mesmos analisados por meio da an?lise tem?tica. A faixa et?ria com maior preval?ncia foi a superior a 40 anos, com 58% de professoras. Com rela??o ao grau de forma??o acad?mica das docentes investigadas, 47% delas tem o terceiro grau completo e, 40% possuem apenas forma??o no magist?rio. No que se refere ao tema transversal sa?de, 27% das professoras n?o realizaram estudos sobre o mesmo e, 40% das docentes n?o se sentiam preparadas para desenvolver esse conte?do, apontando como principal fator limitante ? falta de conhecimento mais profundo sobre sa?de e a falta de material did?tico adequado. Sobre a import?ncia em se trabalhar a sa?de, 29% das respostas referiram-se aos cuidados com a sa?de, e 20% em prevenir e conhecer doen?as. Mutual benefits? : Investigating a service teaching learning partnership

ABSTRACT: The study investigated a service learning partnership between mid-career teachers at a primary school in Atteridgeville and newly-qualified, mostly secondary, teachers from Nottingham University. The aim was to identify benefits and challenges with a view to optimising future partnerships. Data was gathered through participant observation and interviews, analysed by thematic content analysis and interpreted from a critical/postcolonial perspective. The research found a range of benefits accrued to the various stakeholders, including enhanced literacy teaching and learning, opportunities for shared teaching practice, and the lasting legacy of a functional library. While crosscultural contact was identified as a benefit, it also created some tensions related to equitable power-sharing. Therefore, recommendations for future partnerships include clear and consistent communication between partners regarding expectations, goals, and accountability, closer collaboration between partners, and proactive conflict resolution mechanisms. Finally, the research highlights the viable, yet scarcely tapped, potential of such partnerships to address both pre-service and in-service training needs in teacher education in South Africa.
