The design, in its various fields, is a generator agent of needs. The responsibility of design is causing the desire to purchase and the mainly way to do this proposition is with the exposure of products in shop windows. But an exhibitor can also be considered a design product, therefore, to draw the consumer's attention and awaken them (visual) pleasure, uses strategies that involve elements of perception and emotion. Lights, colours, shapes, three-dimensional elements enact social, economic and cultural values and this causes in observers a mixture of feelings. But the emotional responses that occur in front of a shop window are not known by designers, nor what are the elements of shop window that cause these emotional returns. Would be the exhibits elements of perception? There would be changes in these responses when introducing a possible emotional dislike object, such as a wheelchair? In addition, be able to understand the emotional responses of consumers, by observation, in front of a shop window would generate data to design much more accurate and secure about what consumers are watching, than proposing them a question. Questioning consumers about a product can be an uncomfortable situation and their answer would not be true. Therefore this research aims to perceive the emotional responses of consumers in front of images of shop windows, applying observational methodology, and thus obtain data that can corroborate the design, in the emotional and fashion areas. / CAPES/PDSE: 13845/12-8 / CNPq/Programa Ciência sem Fronteiras: 248830/2013-9

In order to achieve this objective, Design Science was used as a research method, in which a static simulation model is proposed and several scenarios are analyzed and evaluated in relation to important Production Management theories. The model proposed to represent a flow shop uses the Factory Physics equations (HOPP; SPEARMAN, 2008) e considers the following shop-floor variables: i) the average setup time; ii) average defect rate; iii) mean time between failures; iv) mean time to repair the machine; v) variability in processing time; vi) variability of the time between arrivals of orders and vii) transfer batch size. The results demonstrate that for both balanced and unbalanced environment, transfer batch size has little effect on lead time, when operating with a process batch size away from optimal batch size (minimum point of the lead time - lot size curve proposed by Karmarkar et al. (1985)). To get a good lead time performance, it is first necessary to reduce process batch size before making efforts to reduce transfer batch. For an unbalanced environment, reducing process batch size only at the bottleneck, coupled to transfer batch size reduction across the flow shop, provided a lead time reduction on the order of 30%, while the remainder flow shop operated with large process batches. In such configuration, the contribution from setup time reduction at the bottleneck machine has generated a small effect on the lead time performance considering the parameters used in this work.

The study consists of using the GRASP (Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure) in the construction phase of the initial solution, suggesting for that, a specific procedure based on Coffman Gramah algorithm. However, such procedure was the great differential in this study, since it offers an initial solution qualitatively better, what allows the reduction of the local search time, where it was utilized the Tabu Search metaheuristic in the local search phase, which provided best results when it was compared with other metaheuristics that have the same structural base. The combination GRASP and Tabu Search were evaluated under two differentiated implementations, being one with Tabu Search in its form more simplified and another one with Tabu Search developing a process of optimized search, using an aditional mathematical model, which demonstrated great advancements in relation at processing time and the obtained results. The computational results, when compared with the existing ones in literature, they had shown that GRASP and Tabu Search combination are capable to produce good solutions.

Nursing in mental health: the action and work of medium level nursing agents in the psychosocial field.

Ana Luisa Aranha e Silva 25 April 2003 (has links)
The object of this study was the to do, the knowledge and the how to do of the fifteen medium level nursing agents who perform assistance activities in the Center of Psychosocial Attention II, Prof. Luis da Rocha Cerqueira, home office of the Program of Academic Assistance Integration in Mental Health of the State Health Secretary and University of São Paulo. The agent choice was performed according to the belief that the group performs the action and the nursing work in mental health in the psychosocial field because this is the individual who predominantly offers action in mental health in the study environment. This research used the Work Shop as a methodological procedure to achieve, analyze and reconstruct the to do and the knowledge of the nursing agents. The shared construction of the knowledge showed two dimensions to produce health products. In the first dimension, the medium-level nursing agents produce and offer intermediated mental health action by the do impregnate of knowledge aligned to the psychosocial field of the institutional collective and share the authorship in a subordinated way to the academic agent. The second dimension of the to do adds meaning to health action and allows the appropriation of the authorship of the production of health products, determining the nursing work: the care itself of nursing in mental health. The results showed a prevalence of production and offering of health products which reaches the individual user, within the institution thus indicating the institutional need of search for deepening and coherence of purposes in the psychosocial field regarding articulation of the service with the territory, inclusion of action of health action for relatives and to expand the production of products in the critical sphere of the psychosocial rehabilitation. The Workshop showed to be a strong instrument to specifically acquire critical consciousness when expanding the theoretical repertory of the investigated, raising the experience report up to the level of the knowledge collectively constructed and to promoting an objective change of the nursing agent’s position in the institutional power environment.

Integration of Visma Administration and SiteVision / Integration av Visma Administration och SiteVision

Lind, Jonathan January 2015 (has links)
The ability to reach a wider public using the Internet has brought the world a wide varietyof online retailers offering their customers to purchase almost anything from the comfortof their home. With this increase in online retailing, a need for automation has been developedby the users. To be able to decrease the administrative tasks to a bare minimum allowsretailers to focus on their core business instead. With this new request for automation, businesssystems are becoming more and more popular and to be able to integrate the web sitewith a business system results in lower administrative workload. A variety of systems arealready available for the public to use for integrating a web shop to a number of differentbusiness systems. These systems are however often restrictive and will provide a frameworkfor developing the web shop themselves. One web content management system that lacksthis kind of support is SiteVision. On behalf of Soleil IT, a Proof of Concept was developedto investigate the feasibility of integrating a web shop developed in SiteVision, with a businesssystem for automation of administrative tasks. The implementation included featuressuch as retrieving products from the business system and displaying them on the web site, and the ability to purchase a set of products which should generate an order in the businesssystem. RESTful web services was used to transmit data between the business system andthe web shop. This project resulted in a successful integration of the business system VismaAdministration and a web shop developed in SiteVision. The project showed the feasibilityof performing such an integration and also exposed any restrictions that the setup may have.

Publika museirum : Materialiseringar av demokratiska ideal på Statens Historiska Museum 1943-2013 / Public Museum Spaces : Materializations of Democratic Ideals in the Swedish History Museum 1943–2013

Geschwind, Britta Zetterström January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this dissertation is to investigate how public spaces in the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm have materialized in relation to cultural policy objectives and ideals of a democratic and inclusive museum. The investigated time period spans from 1943 to 2013. The Swedish History Museum is a state-run archaeological museum, where norms and values are expressed through various governmental policy- and control documents. Hence, entering the museum also means entering a symbolic national space. The fact that the museum has been politically regulated throughout the studied period makes it illustrative of changing democratic public ideals in the 20th century. Unlike other similar studies, the empirical focus is not on exhibitions, but on other public spaces that visitors encounter; the entrance, the shop, children’s spaces and the courtyard. These spaces are less invisible in the museum hierarchy. At the same time, they are often central spaces to visitors. The museum building is not as fixed as it might appear to be. Drawing on ideas from Bruno Latour and Doreen Massey – and their perspectives on space, materiality and power – I explore how the social and spatial changes of the museum affect each other. Efforts have continuously been made to alter these public spaces, and the outlines and uses have repeatedly changed. By combining archival materials, interviews and observations, I investigate how democratic ideals have been negotiated in material forms, and what kind of audiences/visitors these spaces have conceptualized over time. Linking different kinds of sources, that speak from various levels and positions, has been an analytically important method. The analysis describes the museum as a meaning producing network that materially embody different, and sometimes conflicting ideologies. The public spaces have been shaped by tensions; between education versus pleasure, collecting versus showing, and by the dichotomy between culture and commerce. What is communicated thorough various materialities and inscriptions in the shop, the entrance, and the spaces for children sometimes contradict perspectives produced in exhibitions and educational programmes. Hierarchies between professional positions and knowledges propagate as social extensions towards the visitors, and sometimes, reproduce structural hierarchies. Museum functions literally “takes place”, depending on how they are valued and assigned meaning. The museum has increasingly included children, while also becoming a space for commerce. Various, and sometimes incompatible ideals on equality and inclusion have been implemented, simultaneously. At the same time, the public spaces carry unique spatial qualities, which can benefit inclusion. Concluding, the dissertation stresses that the entrance, the shop, the children spaces and other public spaces perceived as “peripheral” need to be viewed as central, not as superficial services or add-ons to the “real” museum experience, i.e. the exhibition.
