Annín, Kašperské Hory a Strakonice jako modelové příklady stylové orientace a kulturně historických okolností vzniku nástěnných maleb před polovinou 14. století na Prácheňsku / Annín, Kašperské Hory and Strakonice are a model example of the Mural Paintings of Prácheňsko.

Hule, Jan January 2014 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis are medieval murals from the first half of the 14th century in Annin, Kasperske Hory and Strakonice. The thesis is focused primarily on detailed analysis of wall paintings, iconographic and stylistic evaluation in national context and context of neighboring countries. then the summary of the cultural and historical circumstances of origin of the paintings in a defined region together with a partial evaluation of period significance of the Prachen region. Cultural and historical circumstances are also put into context with regional patronage. Another objective of these thesis is to identify issues that require further research, especially in the field of iconographic identification of the particular scenes, and setting the paintings in the broader European context. The conclusion then revise relations of the paintings to Germany and Austria and evaluation of the importance of these areas as intermediary regions in the transfer of stylistic incentives.

Deep water Gulf of Mexico pore pressure estimation utilizing P-SV waves from multicomponent seismic in Atlantis Field

Kao, Jeffrey Chung-chen 08 September 2010 (has links)
Overpressure, or abnormally low effective pressures, is hazardous in drilling operations and construction of sea-bottom facilities in deepwater environments. Estimation of the locations of overpressure can improve safety in these operations and significantly reduce overall project costs. Propagation velocities of both seismic P and S wave are sensitive to bulk elastic parameters and density of the sediments, which can be related to porosity, pore fluid content, lithology, and effective pressures. Overpressured areas can be analyzed using 4C seismic reflection data, which includes P-P and P-SV reflections. In this thesis, the effects on compressional (P) and shear (S) wave velocities are investigated to estimate the magnitude and location of excess pore pressure utilizing Eaton’s approach for pressure prediction (Eaton, 1969). Eaton’s (1969) method relates changes in pore pressure to changes in seismic P-wave velocity. The underlying assumption of this method utilizes the ratio of observed P-wave velocity obtained from areas of both normal and abnormal pressure. This velocity ratio evaluated through an empirically determined exponent is then related to the ratio of effective stress under normal and abnormal pressure conditions. Effective stress in a normal pressured condition is greater than the effective stress value in abnormally overpressured conditions. Due to an increased sensitivity of variations in effective pressure to seismic interval velocity, Ebrom et al. (2003) employ a modified Eaton equation to incorporate the S-wave velocity in pore pressure prediction. The data preparation and subsequent observations of seismic P and S wave velocity estimates in this thesis represent a preliminary analysis for pore pressure prediction. Six 2D receiver gathers in the regional dip direction are extracted from six individual ocean-bottom 4C seismic recording nodes for P-P and P-SV velocity analysis. The receiver gathers employed have minimal pre-processing procedures applied. The main processing steps applied were: water bottom mute, 2D rotation of horizontal components to SV and SH orientation, deconvolution, and frequency filtering. Most the processing was performed in Matlab with a volume of scripts designed by research scientists from the University of Texas, Bureau of Economic Geology. In this thesis, fluid pressure prediction is estimated utilizing several 4C multicomponent ocean-bottom nodes in the Atlantis Field in deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Velocity analysis is performed through a ray tracing approach utilizing P-P and P-SV registration. A modified Eaton’s Algorithm is then used for pore pressure prediction using both P and S wave velocity values. I was able to successfully observe both compressional and shear wave velocities to sediment depths of approximately 800 m below the seafloor. Using Hamilton (1972, 1976) and Eberhart-Phillips et al. (1989) regressions as background depth dependent velocity values and well-log derived background effective pressure values from deepwater Gulf of Mexico, I am able to solve for predicted effective pressure for the study area. The results show that the Atlantis subsurface study area experiences a degree of overpressure. / text

Skladby Jana Nepomuka Vocta (1777-1843) ve sbírce hudebnin z katedrály sv. Mikuláše v Českých Budějovicích, studie a edice / The Compositions of Jan Nepomuk Vocet (1777-1843) in the Collection from the St. Nicolaus Cathedral in České Budějovice, a Study and Edition

ŽIŽKOVÁ, Lenka January 2019 (has links)
A collection of music created mainly in the second half of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century was found at the choir loft of the Cathedral of St Nicholas in Budweis. Jáchym Štěpánovský and J. N. Vocet were two local composers and choir administrators who primarily helped to create this music collection. Jan Nepomuk Vocet who used to work at the choir of St Nicholas Cathedral was a significant person. He belongs to a lesser - known group of composers at the turn of the period of Classicism and Romanticism and that's why I chose him as the main topic of my diploma theses. The aim of this work is to evaluate Vocet's influence in Budweis music scene, to give an idea of his church music, popularize the chosen pieces of his music in edition and analyse it in detail.

Diffraction d'ondes par des milieux élastiques sphériques multi-couches

Gérard, Alain 17 December 1980 (has links) (PDF)

Gérard, Alain 17 December 1980 (has links) (PDF)

Zámek a kostel sv. Jana Nepomuckého ve Vyklanticích za Harrachů / The Mannor House and the S. John of Nepomuk Church in Vyklantice in the Age of Harrach

NEVAŘILOVÁ, Zuzana January 2018 (has links)
My thesis deals with the buildings of the castle and the church of Saint John of Nepomuk in Vyklantice which was built between 1722 and 1729 by Jan Jáchym Harrach. Firstly, the work presents the history of the Vyklantice manor and the history of both buildings. Description of the present state of the castle and the church is confronted with photographs from the 1970s. Finally, the work focuses on the genealogy of the Harrachs family and other estates owned by Jan Jáchym and his brother Ferdinand Markvart Harrach. The core of the thesis is in the following chapters which deal with a question of authorship of the Vyklantice constructions. The first criticism has been made on actual addition of researchers who attribute these objects to K. I. Dientzenhofer or J. B. Santini-Aichl and J. L. von Hildebrandt. The survey shows that the buildings in Vyklantice are probably the work of a local builder, as objects do not show the quality of the artistic creation of the architects mentioned above.

Keltsko křesťanská spiritualita v období raného středověku / Celtic Christian Spirituality in the Time of Early Middle Age

LEBAROVÁ, Dorotea January 2008 (has links)
This work deals with Christian tradition in Ireland and northwest Scotland in period from 5th to 12th century. The work is divided into two parts. The first one is an introduction into historical and cultural context. In the second one I used a religious model of Mr. Ninian Smart who distinguishes religion into seven dimensions. That dimensions are doctrinal, mythological, ritual, social, ethic, emotional and artistic. In each of these dimensions I deal with about four topics which are typical for Celtic {--} Christian tradition and on them I illustrate the uniqueness of that tradition. That uniqueness is in high ability for enculturation of Christianity together with ability for new innovative approaches. Some of these new approaches are introduction of new penitential practice, phenomenon of pilgrimage or interconnectedness of monasticism with apostolate.
