Víceslovná pojmenování v italštině / Multiword expressions in Italian

Jungwirthová, Klára January 2015 (has links)
The main topic of this thesis are the multiword expressions in the italian language. The thesis is divided into two parts - the theorical and the empirical part. The theorical part deals with the multiword expressions, the syntagmas and the idiomatic expressions. In the empirical part the connections between the constituents of the multiword expressions will be researched. Than four criteria will be on the multiword expressions applied (head inflection, insertion of the head's modifiers, pronominalisation of the head and dislocation and topicalization of the head). These transformations will be verified with the aid of corpora and questionnaires. Depending on the results of this research will be decided if the multiword expressions resemble the syntagmas or the idiomatic expressions.

For this, we start from the social psychology, with the main category of identity, seen from the syntagma identity-metamorphosisemancipation, to understand the phenomenon not only in its instrumental aspect, but the whole context in which the contemporary poet is inserted. Through the analysis of the life story of two poets of today, it was possible to understand the processes of transformation and emancipation of human identity in contemporary societies, which occurs in contexts permeated by the dialectic regulation/emancipation. This study examined the poet as a contemporary subject, able to interpolate opening times and disruptions so their reader can fill it in with their own experiences, providing metamorphoses. We went through the construction of the role of the poet in our society and their different historical characters: artist, politician and guardian of metamorphoses, verifying its relations with the present. Thus, this study sought to weave reflections about the different possibilities of emancipation in contemporaneity as well as provide insight to discuss the meanings of metamorphosis and post-conventional identities / Esta dissertação busca investigar as metamorfoses da identidade do poeta contemporâneo e o sentido que estes atribuem a sua arte bem como os posicionamentos políticos percebidos em seu papel.

In this context, we aimed to analyse how the post-conventional person builds his multiples characters, leads with collective roles and maintains his autonomy in order to articulate a new life project. For this purpose we used the Social Psychology and the concept of identity-metamorphosis-emancipation, developed by Ciampa, as the main category of analysis, considering to understand not only the phenomenon in its instrumental aspect, but, also the context in which the individual is placed. The research was carried through from the narrative of the participant life history, focusing different moments of his path. This dissertation presents some considerations on in order to offers subsidies to discuss the post-conventional identity of the Self, his possibilities of emancipation and the various meanings of metamorphosis / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender como se dá a formação da Identidade do eu pós-convencional (Habermas), bem como, entender como, ao longo do tempo, o eu pós-convencional lida com o fetichismo de um determinado personagem. Nesse sentido, buscamos analisar como o sujeito pós-convencional constrói seus múltiplos personagens, lida com as identidades coletivas reconhecidas pela sociedade, mantendo a autonomia e articulando um novo projeto de vida. O apagamento do plural em sintagmas nominais numa comunidade de fala da cidade de Goiás

Pereira, Cleuzira Custodia 17 October 2008 (has links)
The aim of this dissertation was to investigate plural absence in Noun Syntagma in interviews with speakers of a community in Goias city, Brazil, based on theoretical and methodological Labov s Linguistic Variation approaches. Linguistic factors were: phonic prominence, syntagma elements position, syntagma elements grammatical class and syntagma structure. Extra linguistic variables were: schooling, sex and age. Based on works from Braga (1977) and Scherre (1988), the conditions for noun number agreement rules were studied and compared to pattern language in this community in Brazilian Portuguese speaking. The hypothesis were confirmed: speakers who studied till the second degree use less agreement rules than those who studied till fourth degree, although schooling was not relevant in every data crossing; female speakers are more concerned to these rules than male ones; explicit plural marks are less frequent in binary data (-prominent) as in mulher-mulheres, pior-piores; the first position have favored s retention in every data crossing; article was the grammatical class that received more plural marks; and syntagma structure that received more plural marks was that formed by a Determinant and a Noun (DET N) / O objetivo desta dissertação foi investigar o apagamento do plural em sintagmas nominais a partir de entrevistas com falantes de uma comunidade de fala da cidade de Goiás, com base nos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da Teoria da Variação e Mudança Lingüística de Labov.

A Random Indexing Approach to Unsupervised Selectional Preference Induction

Hägglöf, Hillevi, Tengstrand, Lisa January 2011 (has links)
A selectional preference is the relation between a head-word and plausible arguments of that head-word. Estimation of the association feature between these words is important to natural language processing applications such as Word Sense Disambiguation. This study presents a novel approach to selectional preference induction within a Random Indexing word space. This is a spatial representation of meaning where distributional patterns enable estimation of the similarity between words. Using only frequency statistics about words to estimate how strongly one word selects another, the aim of this study is to develop a flexible method that is not language dependent and does not require any annotated resourceswhich is in contrast to methods from previous research. In order to optimize the performance of the selectional preference model, experiments including parameter tuning and variation of corpus size were conducted. The selectional preference model was evaluated in a pseudo-word evaluation which lets the selectional preference model decide which of two arguments have a stronger correlation to a given verb. Results show that varying parameters and corpus size does not affect the performance of the selectional preference model in a notable way. The conclusion of the study is that the language modelused does not provide the adequate tools to model selectional preferences. This might be due to a noisy representation of head-words and their arguments.

Fotoalbum a syntagma v prostředí webu 2.0 / The Photo Album and Syntagm in the Web 2.0 Environment

Vlk, Pavel January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis The Photo Album and Syntagm in the Web 2.0 Environment deals with problems of digital photographic collections shared in the web 2.0 environment. The thesis tries to express the basic principles of online photo albums referring to their characteristics, social function, method of arrangement and classification of individual photos. The aim is to verify the assumption that the photo album in the web 2.0 environment loses its narrative function and becomes a set of photos as modular fragments, whose sequence is made to be easily rearrangeable. The thesis is outlined in an interdisciplinary method, in examining of web photo albums it combines knowledge from studies of new media, sociology, philosophy and semiotics. The diploma thesis verifies validity of new medial theories of Lev Manovich in the environment of web digital photo albums and continues in his analyses of behaviour of users of the Instagram social network. As a part of the thesis there is also the own quantitative research, which with its form approximates to the sociological study of Pierre Bourdieu in 60s of the 20th century, devoted to social use of photography. On the basis of the above mentioned theoretical knowledge and his own research we determine what changes of organization and social function of photo albums...

Hudba jako znak / Music As A Sign

JAROLÍMOVÁ, Jana January 2013 (has links)
The thesis is interested in the problem of musical sign. In which ways can we speak about musical sign and which elements of musical material can become signs? These are the basic questions which we are interested in. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part attends to the common theory of sign. The historical survey with the main ideas of philosophers and thinkers will be helpful to find out basic terms and problems of semiotics. In the second part of thesis we look at the historical reflection of musical sign in order to find out in which way it was treated with music and musical sign in each historical period of European music. In the third part we focus on musical semiotics, but we will consider some problems of musical aesthetics and musical psychology, too. In the end we make recapitulation of answers to the aforesaid questions.
