My diploma thesis deals with two institutes of penal law ?detention and a court-ordered institutional education. The aim of the study was to tackle the issue theoretically and empirically, to give a comprehensive picture of both alternatives and to compare them. The aim was to add some information to contribute to decision-making in detention or alternative solutions in the issue of juvenile delinquency. The thesis is divided into two sections - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, the legal basis of detention in the Czech Republic with regard to juvenile delinquents is defined, psychosocial issues of the juvenile delinquents detention are surveyed, the legislative base of the placement of juveniles into educational institutions is described, and the psychosocial issues connected with the stay of juvenile delinquents in educational institutions are outlined. In the final part, the possibilities and limits of the juvenile delinquents´ placement into educational institutions rather than detention solutions are discussed. At the beginning of the empirical section of the work, the objectives and research questions were stated. To answer these questions, a qualitative research investigation analyzing the stay of juveniles in detention and an educational institution was carried out. The respondents were chosen by a purposeful selection in educational institutions. The necessary data were obtained by conducting modeled semi-structured interviews with 7 juveniles who had gone through both detention and an educational institute. The interviews were transcribed and case studies were developed from them. The collected data were analyzed using the grounded theory method, open coding. The research has shown differences in experiencing detention and the stay in an educational institution in juvenile delinquents. It has been proved that detention is a stressful situation for juvenile delinquents, but it does not have a destructive affect on the personality of the juvenile. In contrast, the stay in an educational institution was evaluated positively by the respondents, and they emphasized its positive effect on their personalities. The research has also revealed the reasons for incidents in educational institutions, which result from boredom and the unwillingness of the juvenile to adapt to the regime. Now findings of the thesis demonstrate an insufficient use of the programs offered in penitentiaries. For this reason, as an optimization recommendation, I suggest to increase awareness and the motivation of prisoners to participate in these programs.

Implementar uma institução de formação musical : uma história do Conservatório de Música Joaquim Franco, Manaus/AM

Esta pesquisa teve objetivo investigar o processo de criação e a trajetória do Conservatório de Música Joaquim Franco (CMJF), em Manaus/AM. Esta instituição foi criada pelo Governo do Estado do Amazonas, no ano de 1965, por iniciativa de um pequeno núcleo de pessoas. Foi transferida para a Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM), em 1968, e transformada, em 1987, em Setor de Artes. Atualmente, configura-se como Centro de Artes Hahnemann Bacelar da UFAM. Para o desenvolvimento deste estudo, trabalhei com a metodologia de história oral, em que participaram das entrevistas nove ex-professores e cinco ex-alunos do CMJF. Utilizei também fontes escritas encontradas em acervos públicos e particulares. O CMJF foi visto no presente trabalho como uma instituição educativa, a partir dos trabalhos de Garay (1998), Nóvoa (1995) e Magalhães (1999a, 1999b). Manteve-se, ao longo de sua história, como uma instituição que abraçou, ao mesmo tempo, diferentes concepções e práticas pedagógicas, principalmente advindas das experiências e da formação musical de seus professores, mesmo estando atrelado ao modelo conservatorial, e tendo, inicialmente, adotado o programa da Escola Nacional de Música do Rio de Janeiro. Sua permanência como instituição de ensino de música até aos dias de hoje, conforme os dados levantados na pesquisa, se deu pelas ideias e ações de seus dirigentes e professores no esforço de tentar, através de diferentes estratégias administrativas e pela aceitação de diferentes abordagens pedagógico-musicais, cumprir os objetivos pelos quais foi criado, especialmente, implementar um curso superior em música. / This research aimed to investigate the process of foundation and development of the Music Conservatory Joaquim Franco (CMJF), in Manaus, north of Brazil. This institution was established by the State Government of the Amazon, in 1965, by a small nucleus of people. It was transferred to the Federal University of Amazon (UFAM) in 1968 and transformed, in 1987, in the Sector of Arts of this University. Currently, it is configured as Arts Center Hahnemann Bacelar of UFAM. To carry out this study I worked with the methodology of oral history, interviewing nine exteachers and five ex-students of the CMJF. I also used written sources, which were found in public and private collections. The CMJF was seen in the present work as an educational institution, as conceived by Garay (1988), Nóvoa (1995) and Magalhães (1999a, 1999b). The CMJF remained, throughout its life course, as an institution that embraced, at the same time, different pedagogical conceptions and practices, that coming especially from the experience and musical training of its teachers, even being tied to the conservatory model, and having adopted initially the music program of the National Music School of Rio de Janeiro. The CMJF survived as an institution of music teaching because of the ideas and actions of its managers and teachers. The flexibility of managers and teachers in adopting both different musical-pedagogical models and approaches and different management strategies helped the institution to achieve its main objectives, specially the implementation of a higher education music course.

This was the Faculdade Católica de Filosofia de Rio Grande (1960-1969), sponsored by the Mitra Diocesana de Pelotas until 1969, when it was ceded to integrate the University of Rio Grande. An analysis of its institutional history, mainly focused upon the early years of the Philosophy and Pedagogy courses. From that point, tries to ascertain the meaning and the purpose of establishing in this city, teacher training oriented courses on a high educational level. It also intends to give visibility to those who contribute to the functioning of this institution. Besides keeping alive the memory of the Catholic Faculty of Philosophy it also contributes to the History of Education with a new work concerning higher education. Emphasis is given to the lack of teacher training oriented courses at university level, until the 1960s in Rio Grande. This would have caused a repressed demand of candidates, especially women yearning for that education and training. Suggests that Mitra s pioneering action was crucial. Even so, their ambitions would not materialize without linking Rio Grande s intellectual strengths which were Education involved. It also suggests that further to the Faculty establishment the women s demand increased, probably those who where already involved with primary education. Looks for new evidences in different research sources, such as institutional documents, newspapers and oral reports. At first, institutional documents were handled at the Núcleo de Memória Engenheiro Francisco Martins Bastos (NUME) and the General Archive of the FURG. Later on, the research was extended to the newspaper Rio Grande, focused on information regarding higher education in some relevant dates for the years 1960, 1961, 1964, 1967 and 1969. Finally, eight interviews were performed with representatives of the leading board, of teaching and student staff, as well as of other officers of the Faculty. In order to do so, it takes Oral History and its conceptual categories, such as memory. Thus, assumes the paths opened by Cultural History that has also prompted further historical research problems, objects and subjects. The final considerations have found that, the articulation of catholic forces of Pelotas, as bishop Dom Antônio Zattera, with intellectuals of the Rio Grande, as Hugo Dantas Silveira, fostered the establishment and functioning of the understudy institution. In this process, others gave their contributions, many of them were actors of this institutional history. With this, the Faculty of Philosophy has enabled a greater inflow of women in higher education, the expansion of the secondary-level teaching and cultural development combined with the Church s interest of spreading the christian ideals. Furthermore, the expansion of college courses, adding six until 1969, demonstrates its potential as a teacher training institution in the city of Rio Grande. / O presente trabalho versa sobre uma instituição de ensino superior que representou a gênese dos cursos voltados para a formação docente na cidade do Rio Grande. Essa foi a Faculdade Católica de Filosofia de Rio Grande (1960-1969), tendo como mantenedora a Mitra Diocesana de Pelotas até 1969, quando foi cedida para integrar a Universidade do Rio Grande. Analisa a história institucional dessa Faculdade, focando principalmente os anos iniciais dos cursos de Filosofia e de Pedagogia. A partir de então, busca averiguar o significado e os interesses na criação de cursos voltados para a formação docente, em nível superior, na cidade. Também pretende tornar visíveis os atores que contribuíram para o funcionamento da instituição. Com isso, almeja manter viva a memória dessa Faculdade Católica de Filosofia, além de contribuir com novo trabalho sobre o ensino superior na História da Educação. Enfatiza a ausência, até a década de 1960, de cursos superiores voltados para a formação docente em Rio Grande. Isso teria acarretado uma demanda reprimida de candidatos, principalmente de mulheres, que almejavam essa formação. Sugere que a ação pioneira da Mitra foi fundamental em tal criação. Porém, suas aspirações não se concretizariam se juntamente com ela não se articulassem outras forças intelectuais do Rio Grande, envolvidas com a educação. Após a criação da Faculdade, sugere também que aumentou a procura de mulheres que, possivelmente, já atuavam no ensino primário. Busca novos vestígios em diferentes fontes de pesquisa, como os documentos institucionais, jornais e relatos orais. Inicialmente foram manuseados documentos institucionais no Núcleo de Memória Engenheiro Francisco Martins Bastos (NUME) e no Arquivo Geral da FURG. No segundo momento a pesquisa estendeu-se pelo jornal Rio Grande, tendo como foco as informações referentes ao ensino superior em algumas datas relevantes dos anos de 1960, 1961, 1964, 1967 e 1969. Por fim, realiza oito entrevistas com representantes dos corpos dirigente, docente e discente, bem como de demais funcionários da Faculdade. Para tanto, utiliza a História Oral e temáticas que a envolvem, como a memória. Nesse sentido, toma como base os caminhos abertos pela História Cultural que também propiciou a ampliação de problemas, objetos e temas de pesquisa histórica. As considerações finais constataram que, a articulação de forças católicas de Pelotas, como o bispo Dom Antônio Zattera, com intelectuais do Rio Grande, como Hugo Dantas Silveira, favoreceram a criação e o funcionamento da instituição em pesquisa. Nesse processo, outros deram suas contribuições, sendo muitos deles atores dessa história institucional. Com isso, a Faculdade de Filosofia proporcionou o maior ingresso de mulheres no ensino superior, a ampliação do quadro docente em nível secundário e o desenvolvimento cultural aliado aos interesses da Igreja, de propagação dos ideais cristãos. Ainda, a ampliação dos cursos da Faculdade, somando seis até 1969, demonstra o seu potencial como instituição formadora de professores na cidade do Rio Grande.

Lorsque la Colombie s’émancipe de la Couronne d’Espagne en 1819, elle doit consolider son indépendance et faire face à divers obstacles qui s’opposent à l’instauration d’un enseignement scientifique et technique stable. En prenant en compte ce contexte postcolonial et en se concentrant sur le Colegio Militar de Bogota, une école d’ingénieurs civils et militaires, entre 1848 et 1884, ce travail retrace le processus ayant conduit à la mise en place d’un tel enseignement et suit son évolution au cours de la deuxième moitié du XIXe siècle. L’influence du pouvoir s’avère alors constante et fait ressortir des caractéristiques de l’établissement telles que l’enseignement mixte, militaire et civil, la recherche d’utilité ou l’absence de sélection. Par ailleurs l’étude du curriculum du Colegio Militar indique dans quelle mesure la vision institutionnelle influencée par les idéologies des partis transparait dans les enseignements. Elle fait apparaître également la capacité des différents acteurs à modifier à leur niveau ce curriculum et parvient à suivre son histoire dans sa continuité, malgré l’hétérogénéité de ces interventions.L’analyse des notions scientifiques et techniques transmises par ce curriculum, montre également comment, en s’adaptant au contexte, la mise en place d’une diffusion des savoirs s’accompagne d’une production scientifique. Le décentrement du regard qu´implique cette étude, nous invite à aborder la question du transfert de connaissances, en montrant comment l’étude d’une institution éducative permet d’appréhender ces mécanismes dans leur complexité. Ces circulations seront considérées à différentes échelles au niveau local en lien avec la fonction régulatrice de l’établissement dans le champ éducatif, au niveau du continent sud-américain et vers les centres de production scientifiques d’Europe et d’Amérique du Nord. Enfin, ce travail permet d’apporter des éclairages sur la constitution et l’émergence en Colombie d’un groupe professionnel – les ingénieurs civils – étroitement lié à celui des enseignants de sciences. En suivant le parcours des anciens élèves du Colegio Militar, il révèle les stratégies adoptées par ce groupe social pour faire reconnaître à la fois sa profession et sa légitimité à l’exercer. / As Colombia becomes emancipated from the Spanish Crown in 1819, it has to strengthen its independence and is thus faced with a number of obstacles which come in the way of a stable scientific and technical education. By taking into account this postcolonial context and by focusing on the Colegio Militar of Bogota, a school of civil and military engineering between 1848 and 1884, this study describes the process which led to the foundation of such teachings and follows its evolution during the second half of the 19th century. The influence of power proves to be constant at the time and brings out such specificities as its mixed education curriculum, military and civil, its quest for utility or the absence of a selection process. Furthermore, the study of its curriculum reveals how its institutional vision influenced by party ideology shows through the teachings. It also demonstrates the ability of the various players to alter, at their level, this curriculum and manages to establish the continuity of its history despite the heterogeneity of their actions. Similarly, the analysis of the scientific and technical notions conveyed by this curriculum illustrates how, by adapting to the context, the diffusion of knowledge comes with scientific production. The decentralization entailed by our study leads us to consider the issue of transfer of knowledge, by showing how the study of an educational institution allows to tackle these mechanisms in their complexity. These circulations will be considered on different levels, locally with the regulating function of the school in the educational field, within the South American continent and toward the main hubs of scientific production in Europe and North America. Finally, this study sheds some light on the constitution and emergence of a professional group in Colombia namely, civil engineers, which is tightly linked to that of science teachers. By following the trail of former students of the Colegio Militar, we become acquainted with the strategies they adopt to ensure that both their profession and the right to practise it is acknowledged.

The choice of a nursery school is a first life step into the society. A daily schedule, age composition of educationalists, size of the facility or reachability from home are some of many criteria influencing parent's choice of the nursery school for their child. The diploma thesis "What forms the image of nursery school in the eyes of parents" describes and characterizes individual elements of image in connection with the preschool institution during particular time period and shows first moments before entering nursery school. The practical part is focused on nursery school choice criteria, parental expectations about the nursery schools and their view of the preschool education but also educationalists' opinion about the image. Sample of selected nursery schools is characterized in the thesis together with detailed data analysis and evaluation. The conclusion of thesis contains overall summary of all gained data and knowledge which can be used for suggestions of nursery school image creation.

Nesse contexto o requisito informacional ganha maior relevância ainda. Diante de tal realidade, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo o desenvolvimento e a apresentação de um conjunto de relatórios gerenciais que auxiliem o controle dos resultados, por meio da adoção da contabilidade divisional, apoiando uma gestão econômica descentralizada, por unidades de negócios, no âmbito das IES. A pesquisa realizada caracterizou-se como exploratória, com um estudo de caso de uma universidade do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, da qual foram selecionadas duas unidades, para a elaboração dos relatórios propostos. Data collection was made in the years 2012 and 2013. We used a qualitative methodology to approach and meetings as instruments with characteristics of focus group, observation of activity of subjects in the two types of institutions guided by categories dialogue, participation, satisfaction and autonomy. Interviews with a headmistress, a pedagogical coordinator, responsible for the reading room teacher, a teacher of Physical Education and a matron of students were also made. This study was based on theoretical foundation exploiting the view of several authors such as Gimeno Sacristan, Michael, Apple, Parents and Dayrell. The data showed that satisfaction is one of the indications of how the other categories are being developed in institutions - those where satisfaction permeated the data obtained by the young people attending, it was also possible to observe participatory practices , openness to dialogue and autonomy to develop their regulars differentiated initiatives . It was also possible to notice that young people, in their majority, are a group of students that goes unnoticed to the eyes of adults, in reality not condone the actions of violation of school rules and bylaws, nor stand for excellence and outperformance. However, the observation of these young people, in carrying out activities in the socio-educational institution, presents itself very differently - there, participate in activities with commitment, collaborate as organizational functions and watch over equipment and institutional spacest / Pretendeu-se, nesta pesquisa, verificar as características de atuação e conduta de um grupo de jovens em uma instituição socioeducativa, que oferece atividades culturais, relacionadas ao movimento Hip Hop, e na escola de ensino regular onde estão matriculados ambas localizadas no município de Diadema , sem a intenção de compará-las. A coleta dos dados foi feita nos anos de 2012 e 2013. Utilizou-se uma metodologia com abordagem qualitativa, tendo como instrumentos reuniões com características de Grupo Focal, observação da atuação dos sujeitos, nos dois tipos de instituições norteada pelas categorias diálogo, participação, satisfação e autonomia. Foram feitas também entrevistas com uma diretora de escola, uma coordenadora pedagógica, uma professora responsável pela sala de leitura, um professor de Educação Física e uma inspetora de alunos. Fundamentou-se teoricamente em Gimeno Sacristán, Michael Apple, Pais e Dayrell. Os dados apontaram que a satisfação é um dos indícios de como as outras categorias estão sendo desenvolvidas nas instituições naquelas em que a satisfação permeou os dados obtidos pelos jovens frequentadores, foi possível observar também práticas participativas, abertura para diálogos e autonomia para seus frequentadores desenvolverem iniciativas diferenciadas. Foi possível perceber também que os jovens, em sua maioria, constituem um grupo de alunos que passa despercebido aos olhares dos adultos, ou seja, não compactuam das atitudes de violação ao regimento e normas escolares, tampouco se destacam por excelência e desempenho acima da média. Contudo, a observação desses jovens, durante a realização das atividades na instituição socioeducativa, apresenta-se de forma muito diferenciada nesse local, participam das atividades com empenho, colaboram como as funções organizativas e zelam pelos equipamentos e espaços institucionais

Orientador: José de Souza Rodrigues / Resumo: A partir da percepção da necessidade de mudanças na gestão do IFRR, esta dissertação tem como objetivo verificar como os conhecimentos de gestão por processos de negócios, por meio de técnicas de mineração, modelagem e mapeamento de processos podem contribuir para melhoria dos processos institucionais. O BPM é considerado como um dos temas mais atuais na era da informação, de um lado, ele aborda a interação de pessoas e organizações e, de outro, softwares de reconhecimento, técnicas de modelagem e simulação e mineração de processos. Acredita-se, portanto, que a presente pesquisa é capaz de incentivar uma cultura voltada para melhoria contínua por meio do gerenciamento dos processos internos, proporcionando melhores resultados para a instituição. Por tanto, a pesquisa foi desenvolvida, primeiramente, por meio do procedimento de mineração de processos no sistema de informações institucional, posteriormente com as modelagens “as is” e “to be” de um processo institucional, onde foi adaptado e aplicado o ciclo de vida de gerenciamento de processos desenvolvendo as etapas de planejamento, análise e modelagem do processo. Como resultados da aplicação do ciclo de vida de BPM foi selecionado o processo de aquisição de bens e serviços e foram desenvolvidas as modelagens as is e to be do referido processo. / Abstract: Based on the perception of the need for changes in IFRR management, this paper aims to verify how BPM knowledge, through mining, modeling and mapping technics can contribute to the improvement of institutional processes. BPM is considered to be one of the most current issues in the information age. On the one hand, it addresses the interaction of people and organizations and, on the other hand, recognition software, modeling and simulation techniques, and process mining. It is believed, therefore, that the present research is able to encourage a culture focused on continuous improvement through the management of internal processes, providing better results for the institution. Therefore, the research was developed, first, through the procedure of mining process in the institutional information system, later with the "as is" and "to be" modeling of an institutional process, where the life of process management was adapted and applied by developing the process planning, analysis and modeling steps. The practical part describes the realization of the research focused on nursery school choice criteria, parental expectations about the nursery schools and their view of the preschool education but also educationalists' opinion about the image. The chapters in the practical part are also focused on individual nursery school characteristics, detailed data analysis as well as data summary and evaluation of three distinct questionnaires. The thesis conclusion contains overall summary of all gained data and knowledge and final suggestions for creation of nursery school image.
