Utveckling av en applikation för logistik : En fallstudie i Stockholmsmässans logistiksystem CIS Expo / Development of an Application for Logistics : A Case Study of the Stockholm International Logistics System CIS Expo

Johansson, Fredrik January 2014 (has links)
This report describes how I went about to develop an application for mobile phones and tablets, to manage logistics matters at Stockholm International Fairs. Based on studying current documentation, observed Stockholm International Fairs workers on site and interviewed them, I then presented a set of requirements on both the functional and non-functional requirements. To then be able to select the most suitable frameworks to build a future implementation, and to replace the current rugged handheld computers used at Stockholm International Fairs. The app is designed for truck drivers to receive and create "orders", ie data of different types of assignments to be run from / to the stands and deliverytrucks etc. and also be able to handle the empty packaging and storage. The work resulted in a working concept including several frameworks working together to create all the necessary parts for a fully working system. The work was performed at a company called CargoIT whos delivering transportation and logistics solutions to companies such as Stockholm International Fairs which also had requirements that needed to be taken into account.

Webové rozhraní pro monitoring senzorového pole / Web interface for sensor network monitoring

Vajsar, Pavel January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this work is to design and create an application that will allow monitoring of wireless sensor networks. The basis of the project is to design a database that is capable of storing data acquired from wireless sensor networks. The main requirement for the design is versatility, which flows from the requirement to use the database for broad range of applications implementing wireless sensor networks. The application itself is designed to be the most versatile and modular, which means that modules provide specific monitoring services. The application is able to monitor the real wireless sensor network through designed and implemented connector. For implementation J2EE (server side) and Adobe Flex/Air (client side) technologies are used.

Vidareutveckling av ett journalsystem : Hur ett gammalt projekt återupptas

Kilic, Türkbey January 2017 (has links)
Sofiaängen is a psychotherapeutic day school and school located at Södermalm in Stockholm. Sofiaängen is aimed at young people between 13-20 years with mental and social problems. Sofiaängen needed a complete journal system to facilitate their work routines with records of patient treatments. Their current system is not completed and needed further development. Thus, the work was divided into two parts, first to develop a proposal for a general process model for managing an unfinished IT system to the academy and then to deliver a fully functioning journal system for Sofiaängen. The thesis has resulted in a proposal for a general process model for handling unfinished projects as well as a fully functioning journal system for Sofiaängen, which can be put into operation immediately.

Dynamic Website and Data Engine Generators for Distributed Enterprise/Business Architectures

Qaddoura, Fareed 17 December 2004 (has links)
Creating websites providing dynamic services is an extensive process. Intelligent systems are used to create websites with dynamic services. Current intelligent systems are hard to use and configure by the average user. The generated websites are usually custom built to solve one problem and cannot be fully customizable for users on different environments. This thesis presents a technological solution that enables the average user to create websites with dynamic services by providing a number of parameters. The website generator is a web-based application that generates all the components of the website. The components act as portlets and the generated website will be the portal application. The data engine generator creates the website's underlying database. To enable distributed enterprise/business architecture, the data engine generator records the metadata about the database and the website to be generated. The website generator is a cost effective, dynamic, secure, reliable, and scalable solution that outperforms current website generators and portal applications.

Vývoj webové aplikace pomocí moderních technologií / Web application development with modern technologies

Ibragimov, Ahliddin January 2016 (has links)
This thesis covers the development of web applications with modern programming languages and technologies. The objective of thesis is the research and analysis of modern technologies and subsequent selection of particular programming languages, frameworks and database for development of web application applying those techniques. Based on analysis of modern trends I chose the following technologies: backend development using popular Spring framework based on Java EE, frontend implementation using one of the most widespread scripting languages JavaScript and its known framework AngularJS developed by Google. For data persistence I chose NoSQL database MongoDB. I provided detailed documentation of each implementation step: project definition, requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing.

Free Software For Web Development / Fri mjukvara för webbutveckling

Linder, Anders, Olsson, Johan January 2003 (has links)
<p>This thesis will look into what kind of solutions a company or a private person can use if they want to create a dynamic website using only free software. To do this we divided our work in two parts. In the first part, we developed a dynamic website for a Swedish company. On the server side we used exclusively free software with open source code. There are different meanings in how the term “free” should be used when referring to software, which we will explain in the thesis. We have also chosen to work with the XMLtechnology to see if it lives up to its expectations and to see if we could benefit from the technology. Alongside with the development of our site, another company developed a site for the same company as us, by using non-free software. We have described both implementations and compared them to see if it is possible to do the same thing with both free and non-free software. </p><p>The investigating part of our work consisted of getting information about what other people think about the free software phenomenon. To do so we created an online questionnaire where we randomly picked 100 Swedish web agencies and asked them to answer 8 questions about what kind of software they used in their company, and what they thought about free software. To get some more opinions we also interviewed two persons involved in these kinds of topics. Jan Sandred, who is a well known expert advisor in topics concerning the Information Technology area and Richard Stallman, the founder of GNU and the Free Software Movement. </p><p>The reason for dividing the thesis in two parts was to get an overall picture on the subject. We did not only want to base our results on other people’s thoughts. We wanted to make our own conclusions based on the implementation we did. This approach showed out to be very good. We got to try working with free software ourselves to see its pros and cons and build our own opinions about it. We could then proceed to compare our impressions to other people’s impressions about free software.</p>
