Seit 2003 wird am Leipziger Handschriftenzentrum systematisch eine Belegsammlung von Wasserzeichen aus den katalogisierten Handschriften aufgebaut. Die Leipziger Belegsammlung ist inzwischen auf 2.500 Einzelmarken angewachsen. Da diese leider nur zu internen Recherchezwecken zur Verfügung stehen, wurde 2006 im Rahmen eines DFG-Projektes eine Datenbanklösung geschaffen, mit der dezentral Wasserzeichenbelege erschlossen und zentral in einheitlicher Form präsentiert werden können.

The purpose of this project is to explore the GPU for general purpose computing. The GPU is a massively parallel computing device that has a high-throughput, exhibits high arithmetic intensity, has a large market presence, and with the increasing computation power being added to it each year through innovations, the GPU is a perfect candidate to complement the CPU in performing computations. The GPU follows the single instruction multiple data (SIMD) model for applying operations on its data. This model allows the GPU to be very useful for assisting the CPU in performing computations on data that is highly parallel in nature. The compute unified device architecture (CUDA) is a parallel computing and programming platform for NVIDIA GPUs. The main focus of this project is to show the power, speed, and performance of a CUDA-enabled GPU for digital video watermark insertion in the H.264 video compression domain. Digital video watermarking in general is a highly computationally intensive process that is strongly dependent on the video compression format in place. The H.264/MPEG-4 AVC video compression format has high compression efficiency at the expense of having high computational complexity and leaving little room for an imperceptible watermark to be inserted. Employing a human visual model to limit distortion and degradation of visual quality introduced by the watermark is a good choice for designing a video watermarking algorithm though this does introduce more computational complexity to the algorithm. Research is being conducted into how the CPU-GPU execution of the digital watermark application can boost the speed of the applications several times compared to running the application on a standalone CPU using NVIDIA visual profiler to optimize the application.

This thesis deal with digital signal proccessing methods, possibilities their processing and especially audio signal watermarking like possibility safeguard author's rights of audio content. In this thesis are foreshadoweds basic audio watermarking methods and possibilities of watermark detection. To idea generation about watermarking there is described audio watermarking method known as Echo Hiding. This method embed watermarks to audio content in time-domain while watermark detection is made in kepstral-domain by using Fast Fourier Transform and correlation function. Method is implemented like VST plug - in and along with ASIO drivers that minimize signal latency provides audio signal watermarking in real - time. Aim of the first volume of this thesis is introduction of VST technology, ASIO driver and creating VST plug – in‘s. Alternative volume of thesis deal with implementation watermarking methods in conjunction with VST technology.

Se ha estudiado el efecto de las restricciones hídricas en distintos períodos fenológicos, y de la carga de cosecha sobre la respuesta agronómica y las relaciones hídricas de una plantación joven de ciruelo Japonés cv. Black-Gold. En post-cosecha, las restricciones hídricas permitieron ahorros de agua de hasta un 29% sin afectar ni a la intensidad de floración ni el cuajado ni el crecimiento del fruto del año siguiente. Sin embargo, a medio plazo, tres años, el estrés hídrico aplicado en post-cosecha puede reducir la produción de la plantación debido al efecto acumulado de las restricciones sobre el crecimiento del árbol. El estrés hídrico llevado a cabo durante las fases II y toda la fase III del crecimiento del fruto, redujo su tamaño de forma proporcional a la integral de estrés. La restricción moderada del riego, antes y después de la cosecha, auanque permitió el mayor ahorro de agua (30%), provocó una reducción demasiado severa en el crecimiento del árbol, además de afectar al crecimiento del fruto. La carga alta de cosecha redujo el tamaño final del fruto en un 16%, pero permitió aumentar la cosecha en un 46% además de afectar al crecimiento vegetativo del árbol. La carga también afectó a las relaciones hídricas del árbol. Por otra parte se ha demostrado la eficacia de los dendómetros y del potencial de hoja no transpirante como indicadores de estrés hídrico. Finalmente se evaluó la utilidad de los sensores Watermark que respondieron razonablemente bien a las restricciones del riego, en particular cuando fueron severas, y permiten estimar con cierta precisión el estado hídrico del árbol, en particular para Ym<-40kPa. / Intrigliolo Molina, DS.
