The aim of my diploma paper is summing up of graduates´ unemployment in southern Bohemia. The purpose of the paper is to create a compact image of labour market in the Czech Republic and to describe main factors influencing this market in the Czech Republic. My paper should touch state unemployment policy, to chart unemployment in southern Bohemia with the reflection on graduates´ unemployment, chart the structure of unemployed graduates, their possibilities at the labour market in the Czech Republic, to propose possibilities for the decrease of graduates´ unemployment in southern Bohemia. My survey is based on the data from Labour Market Situation Report from several Bureaus of Labour, data from Czech Statistic Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Issues. The graduates themselves are one off the most risk companies from the people who are economically active. The claiming of these groups is worse. The graduates are disadvantaged in comparison with other job applicants {--} less praxes, missing work habits and lox experience. The graduates´ unemployment rage is highly influenced by economical situation in our country, total unemployment, free working station offer degree and rate between supply and demand. It is also influenced by educational structure of graduates at the same time. The employers´ interest in graduates has been increasing. The loss of people at qualified positions is very important {--} firms are forced to offer free positions even to the people with smaller or no praxes. Another reason for the increase is policy development itself, primarily in financial sphere, car industry and in services. Last but not least, graduates´ attractively has been increasing hand in hand with improving quality of their profiles.

The thesis is focused on the employment of the university graduates in the labor market. The theoretical part is attention to the activities of the human recourses from the perspective of the labor law. Especially, when the company wants to employ an new employee. It focuses on the methods of the recruitment and the selection of future employees. Furthermore, it defines the terms associated with the creation of the employment and the requirement of the employment contract, considering of valid and statutory regulations. The practical part is used for mapping the situation in the labor market in Czech Republic focuses on the university graduates. Thought statistical analyzes the data of the Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs were found affecting factors that cause unemployment of these graduates. Further, was found that university graduates are still the most attractive, the most active and least vulnerable group on the labor market. So, it is confirm the assumption that with higher education grows the chance to be successful.

The thesis is focused on description and evaluation unemployment of a selected group of graduate. There were chosen graduates of Czech university of Life Sciences Prague (Faculty of Economics and Management) and University of Economics, Prague (Faculty of Economics). The first part describes theoretical basis of the problem with the definition of basic concepts of unemployment, e.g. labour market, employment, unemployment, graduate, etc. One part of this chapter is dedicated to the description of chosen universities. The practical part is devoted to the progression of unemployment, which is analyzed on the basis of the available data and the data from the survey. The last part is focused on the results, possible recommendations for improving the employability of graduates on the labor market and discussion.

The thesis is focused on the issues of employability of Adult education and Personnel Management students of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University on job market. It provides insight into employability of graduates in general; it pays attention to concepts related to employability; it deals with changes of university education system and different approaches to adult education and personnel management; it describes work roles of andragogy graduates and human resources officers. Empiric research which is carried out through questionnaires is dedicated to confirmation of the influence of selected factors on employabilty of Adult education and Personnel Management students. Furthemore, the thesis addresses issues such as monthly income and work positions and roles the graduates take most frequently. The aim of this work is the description of the unemployment of graduates from selected universities in the Czech Republic between 2012 to 2016 and compare the unemployment of graduates across the fields of study. This work will be split into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part will describe the labor market, unemployment, the development of unemployment in the Czech Republic, the legislation on labor market in the Czech Republic, active and passive policy of unemployment and the status of the graduate in the labor market. In the practical part, it will be compared to the unemployment rate of university graduates in custody on the rankings of universities in the Czech Republic. The end of practical part will be based on the survey analysis of work experience and work involvement of students of master's degree at selected universities in the Czech Republic and will be compared with the development of graduate unemployment in the years 2012 to 2016 across the fields of study.

Diploma thesis analyzes the process of school-to-work transition in theory and practice. The practical part focuses on the specifics in the Czech Republic and the Karlovy Vary region. The aim is to assess the links between high schools and their students / graduates and employers in the region and the environment in which they interact. The main contribution of this work is to analyze the problem on the example of the Karlovy Vary region through pilot verification and define the main characteristics and deficiencies in the school-to-work transtition process. The main weaknesses of this process are insufficient work habits and working experiences of graduates, improperly selected field of study, lack of interest in studying and low motivation to work. To improve the situation should help to strengthen the links between secondary schools, students / graduates and employers and increasing the involvement of employers in education as is the case in the dual education system.
