VINAŘSKÝ DŮM NIKOLSBURG MIKULOV / WINE HOUSE NIKOLSBURG MIKULOV

Šiprová, Lucie January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with designing a wine hotel for Nikolsburg winery in Mikulov. The goal was to design a hotel which incorporates storage and processing of wine, while complimenting the surrounding vineyard landscape. The site is situated between nature reserves Turold nad Růžový vrch. The main focus of the design was to allow for the best possible view of surrounding vineyards, Mikulov Chateau, Basilica in Svatý kopeček and Turold nature reserve. The work centers around 4-star hotel able to accommodate 30 people, which includes a restaurant, small wellness for hotel guests and suitable technical facilities. Additionaly, the building is equipped for clean wine production (fermentation, pressing, aging, bottling, labelling, storage and expedition) and features a degustation room. Basic concept of the hotel was derived from the slope of the terrain, viewing axes and geographic orientation. There is a number of terraces symbolizing moravian hills covered by vineyards, which offer guests unobscured view of the surrounding landscape (and investors vineyards). The whole operation of the hotel has to do with winemaking as is seen in the building design. Vertical features of the facade represent rows and vertical poles in vineyards.

Josef Hlávka a jeho podíl na rozvoji české vzdělanosti / Josef Hlávka and his contribution to the Development of the Czech education

Šmahelová, Ywette January 2017 (has links)
The research into the student hall of residence founded in 1907 thanks to the impulse, plans, personal effort, and mainly to the large donation of Josef Hlávka has so far left out the fact that there was a long tradition of student halls of residence in Prague and elsewhere beforehand. The author of the thesis attempts to prove that some aspects of Hlávka's project, particularly it's charitable and nationalist motivations, existed much earlier. However, unlike other charity institutions of this kind, Josef Hlávka aimed to provide talented and hard- working but evincibly underfunded Czech students with education in foreign languages and with additional education in upper class etiquette including fencing lessons. What may have been support to Czech students and enhancement of their opportunities came to be, after the foundation of Czechoslovakia in 1918, an old-fashioned and outlived part of education of new academic juveniles.

Le conjoint survivant face aux enfants du de cujus / The surviving spouse in front of children of deceased

Meunier-Mollaret, Marine 05 February 2014 (has links)
The law dated December 3rd, 2001 realized, undoubtedly, a major step forward in the protection of the surviving spouse since it recognizes for him a legal vocation in property and it allows himself, the rest of his life, to remain in the matrimonial home. Nevertheless, this protection turns out to be insufficient for the one to which the law closes the option for the legal usufruct : the survivor left with at least one child stemming from a previous union. The introduction of this distinction in the article757 of the civil Code does not, indeed, allow to guarantee for the widows and widowers, stemming in particular from blended families, the preservation of their previous conditions of existence, it, especially as the right life annuity in the accommodation cannot accrue with the legal quarter in property. Where from thenecessity for the future deceased to anticipate the consequences of his disappearance. The property right of the family offers, in this respect, a whole outfit of legal instruments which the legislator of June 23rd, 2006 came to enrich, in particular by new liberalities-divisions and the gradual (and residual) liberalities. However, it will be called on to the most classic stemming tools, for some, of the right of the matrimonial systems with the marital advantages, for the others, the right of the liberalities with the contractual institution between spouses. The marital way in front of, as far as possible, to constitute the main part of the protection of the survivor. Finally, it will be considered as good practice to complete these measures of conjugal foresight by the life insurance and the civil society of management of portfolio of securities.

The address form usted as an ethnic speech marker : Its correlations with some factors of the ecological triad in context of ethnic groups in contact

Sarmiento, Miguel Angel January 2006 (has links)
This study aims at exploring the social, affective and cognitive variables that would be related to the use of the address form usted in Chilean Spanish. Specifically, we refer to the use that can be observed in interactions between Chileans residing in Sweden. A particular aspect of this situation is that, while the majority group almost exclusively use the form that is commonly associated with solidarity (in this case the Swedish pronoun du), the minority group referred to maintains the pronoun that normally is associated with power, distance, formality and politeness: usted. In other words, while the equivalent in Swedish of usted (ni) is seldom used in majority language, the opposite is observed in the minority language object of study. We believe that the motives for the use of usted in this minority context are more complex than they appear to be. Consequently, an alternative hypothesis has been worked out with reference to theories within the area of Social Psychology. On this basis the following main hypothesis was formulated: Individuals representing the minority group in ethnic contact situations tend to increase their identification with the minority group in order to be admitted by and adhere to this group, if they feel that they are rejected by the majority group. The form usted is not the result of a fortuitous situation, nor can it be explained by the fact that it is the normal usage in the native country, but that it fulfils a strategic objective: to mark the affiliation with the minority group. The method has consisted in grouping together and correlating factors pertaining to the environment, the agent and the guest according to the Ecological Triad, the interaction of which contributes to the appearance of the observed behaviour that underlies this study. The statistical analysis enabled us to verify what was put forward in the hypothesis.

<b>Understanding The Role of Ableism in Higher Education</b>

Vanessa Lynn LaRoche (17621220) 12 December 2023 (has links)
<p dir="ltr">Institutions of higher education within the United States have not had a reputation of inclusivity. The discrimination and oppression of people with disabilities is an important topic of conversation within these educational spaces, not only to change the way that society thinks of disability on a whole, but to incite discussions surrounding the best ways to support students with disabilities and their educational goals. This paper will provide a deconstruction of what ableism is, how it impacts mental health and wellness and how it shows up within institutions of higher education. This paper will also provide details on a training course for higher education faculty members that provides practical applications of the ethical ways of creating a supportive learning environment for students with disabilities. This paper will explore how critical disability theory, the social model and some aspects of the medical model can be utilized to provide faculty and staff with the competency to understand and interact with students with disabilities in ways that not only support their learning but contribute to positive social change and the deconstruction of ableist actions.</p>

Lamarche, Marie-Aimée 05 1900 (has links)
Learning assessment is an activity intrinsically linked to the act of teaching. It is achieved through evaluative practices that stem from teaching practices and pedagogical foundations. Research in the field of learning assessment is constantly developing in the general education of students, however this is not the case in special education. The assessment of the academic skills of students with disabilities, learning difficulties or adaptation is a subject little discussed in the scientific or professional literature. This is even more true for learners living with specific disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Several researchers have focused on ways to promote the inclusion of students with ASD in regular classes, while others have focused on interventions to control their autistic behavior in the school environment. Their results suggest that for the increasingly numerous students with ASD, it is necessary to develop a space and educational content to make learning and assessment accessible. The main objective of this thesis is to document the ways to assess the academic skills of students with ASD in the first cycle of secondary school for the French language discipline, from the perspective of the evaluation practices implemented by teachers. To achieve this, we will delve into the teachers' self-efficacy perceptions in relation to these practices, we will observe the establishment of new practices through an appropriation process and we will describe the development of tools in support of competency assessment. Four texts constitute the thesis. The first is a literature review identifying the social and scientific relevance of our subject of study, followed by three scientific articles addressing the specific objectives of the research project. The first scientific article focuses on teachers’ self-efficacy perception relative to the appropriation of evaluative practices in the context of a specialized class dedicated to students with ASD. This concept emanating from the work of Bandura lends itself well to analyzing the progression in the evaluative practices put in place by teachers. The second article presents the appropriation of practices through the implementation of an evaluation process designed specifically for this type of learner. From the planning of learning and evaluation to the communication of results, the teachers’ methodologies are continually readjusted in accordance with the prescribed training program and the learning and evaluation situations offered to the students. The third article focuses on the development of rubrics that supported the evaluation practices implemented throughout the process. In order to meet the varied needs of students located at different places on the autism spectrum, these rubrics provide tools for teachers to make a fair and equitable judgment. The results of our research project highlight the obstacles encountered by the participants when implementing evaluation practices. It seems that their integration is still a process that is difficult to identify, implement and integrate into teaching practice. In addition, the specificities of students with ASD make the teacher's task of assessment more complex and can lead to difficulties in carrying out a fair and equitable assessment of each student. Our thesis takes a first look at a delicate aspect of teaching-evaluation that can be influenced by several factors. Nevertheless, our contribution to the field of learning assessment will help guide future research in the development of evaluation practices with students in the special education and mainstream tracks, while promoting an inclusive vision of evaluation.

Revitalizace hotelového zařízení, Přehrada Brno / Revitalisation of the Hotel Facility by the Brno Artificial Lake

Švec, Martin Unknown Date (has links)
This is the proposal of the new utilization of the former recreational centre, which is situated in the beautiful surrounding of the Brno lake. It has been abandoned for many years and is suffering from decay. It has been built in the 1970's for the demand of the Socialistic youth union (remark: the youth organisation of the communist's party). There were held international political conventions and educational sojourns for the students of high schools and universities. The new utilization will be analogous. Only the communist's ideals will be replaced with the ideals of today's democratical society – especially friendly relations between mankind and environment. There will be created the environmental educational centre with the meeting spaces, conference hall and accomodation. The universal concept enables the usage of the facility also for the international students' workshops, training courses, teambuilding events etc. The ecological educational centre primarily makes the good example and is the live educational requisite. Thanks to the concept of the original facility is very convenient the refurbishment to the standard of the energetically passive building, which consists from the natural materials and utilizes renewable energy resources. Because of the very poor technical condition and devastation of the building will be re-used only basement and steel framework. This solution is more economical than the demolition and following new construction. The construction core of the building is almost for free. However, only if we make minimal changes in the framework and we preserve the original building's shape. On the steel framework will be created the new lightweight housing, which will be made from wood, straw pannels and filled with the cannabis thermal insulation. Almost all the roofs will be covered with the photovoltaic foils and the heat source will be air heat pump. The area is very pleasant place to stay. It's full of sunshine all day long and offers very beautiful view of the lake. The main building and bungalows profit of the attractive views. All the former recreational area has was designed to make the people meeting together and to provide the freedom of move and wide variety of activities. However, the rooms and bungalows provide the highest privacy. The inside and outside of the buildings are shading into each other. All the recreational ground – in exterior and interior – is full of liveliness, in the opposite of the rooms, which are the private islands. This aspect, which is present in the former concept from the 1970's, is to be preserved. The former hotel building is distinguished by the quality architectural concept, above-average in the age of origin. It is thanks to the dynamically balanced composition – inspirative today too, and visually interesting interior design of the meeting spaces. This proposal attempts to continue in this qualities. The ground is enriched with the relaxational spaces and the outside gym path. In the opposite of the original state the area is open to the public and is utilized as a park for leisure activities.
