This master's thesis deals with the area of risk management in project management. The aim is to create a complex risk management methodology and a functional prototype of the system that complements and supports it. The methodology is based on the fundamental principles of these areas and the analysis of currently used project and risk management approaches in practice. Selected were PRINCE2, Agile Approach and ITIL. The advantages of the methodology are its complexity, no bound to any standard but based on methodology's positive  features. Based on the methodology, a web application for management and visualization of projects and risks has been developed and supports work with it.

The thesis deals with problems of agile methodologies in the settings of virtual teams. It begins with the description of virtual teams and their models and deals with both theoretical and practical aspects of mutual communication of their team members. The thesis follows with general characteristics of agile approach and their demonstration on representative methodologies. One of them (methodology Scrum) is described in detail in the next chapter and linked with possibilities of its deployment within virtual teams. Practical part of the thesis deals with the design and implementation of a software application that is focused on effective communication support of virtual teams that utilize Scrum. Deployment of this application is discussed within a case study of a real project which team faced problems of agile software development in the settings of virtual team on a daily basis.

This diploma thesis deals with proposals in the area of inner development of a company that is very dynamically growing and operating in the digital marketing industry situated in Brno. Theoretical part defines basic concepts of development management and growing pains including description of selected analytical or evaluation methods. Analyses regarding context, environment and functioning of the company are presented in the analytical part of this thesis. Based on these analyses are presented key factors. New designs come out of the conclusions and results of the evaluation part. It contains the description of changes and precautions including their implementation. This, as a goal, will improve current processes leading to increasing quality service and customer satisfaction.

En la actualidad, todas las personas tienen miedo de contagiarse del COVID-19, es por ello que buscan soluciones óptimas y eficientes, que no involucren tanto contacto con otras personas, por medio de las nuevas tecnologías. Además, se ha visto un incremento en el uso de metodologías y sistemas ágiles para acelerar determinados procesos, que involucran gran pérdida de tiempo y dinero. Un gran ejemplo; es el uso de los medios digitales como intermediario para contactar a un experto legal y administrativo con el objetivo de que realice determinados trámites sin necesidad de que el cliente salga de su casa, se exponga al covid y realice colas afuera de la institución para solicitar asesoría; evitando así, pérdida de tiempo y mal humor. Por estas razones, hemos visto una oportunidad de negocio para generar valor en dichas personas; la cual se basa en la resolución de trámites más solicitados en la actualidad con la ayuda de profesionales capacitados y las nuevas redes de contacto, que permiten que todo sea más rápido y eficiente. En este presente trabajo, se procederá a desarrollar una investigación con el fin de ver la viabilidad y rentabilidad de nuestro proyecto con el fin de poder proceder a comercializar dicho servicio. Asimismo, se aplicará y desarrollará los conocimientos aprendidos durante el transcurso de la carrera al tratar temas relacionados a distintas áreas como finanzas, marketing, negocios internacionales, logística, entre otros. / At present, all people are afraid of catching COVID-19, which is why they seek optimal and efficient solutions, which are not involved as much contact with other people, through new technologies. For these reasons, we have seen a business opportunity to generate value in these people; which is based on the resolution of the most requested procedures nowadays with the help of trained professionals and the new contact networks, which allow everything to be faster and more efficient. In this present work, an investigation will be carried out in order to see the viability and profitability of our project in order to be able to proceed to commercialize said service. Rozšíření nástroje pro podporu agilního vývoje softwaru / Upgrade of Agile Development Support Tool

The goal of the diploma thesis "Upgrade of agile development support tool" is to study agile methodologies and its use in practice. Thesis is focused on the Scrum framework used by The Corporate Technology department of Siemens, s.r.o. in Brno. Furthermore the thesis analyzes and compares the most used software support tools for agile methodologies which also gives an inspiration for the upgrade of support tool used by the department of Siemens. Thesis identifies possible upgrades based on an analysis with the goal to make agile development even more effective. Results were consulted with the representative of the Siemens company and then modules for Code review and Retrospective were chosen to implement. Implementation consists even of some minor upgrades of the tool. Goals of all implemented upgrades were to save time, optimize administrative work and make development even more effective. Benefits and further upgrades are consulted at the end of the thesis.

Optické rozpoznávání tabule úkolů / Tasks Board Optical Recognition

The master's thesis deals with the optical recognition of the tasks board in the agile environment. Based on theoretical knowledge about the agile project management, the concept of the task board is introduced. Possible representations of this agile tool are discussed, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. In connection with the optical recognition of the objects, follows the theoretical part dealing with barcodes, their structure and methods of detection and decoding. Based on these facts, the application design is reflecting all the needs specified by the company Siemens CT DC which is the contracting authority of the project. Implemented solution used for synchronization between the physical and virtual task board is able to detect the task cards with reliability about 95 % and allows the full synchronization of the task board during the four cycles. Deployment in the software development team and using the fully automated mode brings approximately five times quicker synchronization than it was before. In a case of semi-automated mode, it is about three times faster than before.

The   agile methods are becoming increasingly more common to use in distributed   work, the globally growing IT market has led to IT-system development often   being distributed. The fact that many   teams today choose to work distributed and agile has brought with it some new   communication problems. There has been some research related to communication   problems in agile distributed teams before, but when examining the previous   research we have identified that that the individuals own experiences usually   do not fall into focus. This study has investigated how the individuals   themselves perceive the communication problems within their agile distributed   team and why they believe the problems arise, as well as what the consequence   of their occurrence is and also how they perceive the positive effects of   well-functioning communication.   In   order to investigate problems and solutions related to communication in agile   distributed teams, seven semi-structured interviews have been conducted with   various project members who work with software development in distributed   agile teams. Also two meetings have   been analyzed. The study is made with a qualitative method.   The individuals who acted as respondents in   the study all work at a global IT company that we have gained access to. The   study has been developed on-site at this global IT company in an office   located in Östersund. Respondents were selected based on recommendations from   the company according to the roles requested in the study. / De agila metoderna blir allt vanligare att   använda vid distribuerat arbete, den globalt växande IT marknaden har lett   till att systemutveckling ofta sker distribuerat. Att team som sitter   distribuerat väljer att arbeta agilt har fört med sig en del nya kommunikationsproblem.   Det har gjorts en del forskning inom kommunikationsproblem i agila   distribuerade team tidigare, men det som märks när man granskar den tidigare   forskningen är att individernas egna upplevelser oftast inte hamnar i fokus.   Denna studie har undersökt hur individerna själva uppfattar   kommunikationsproblemen inom sitt agila distribuerade team samt varför de   tror att de uppstår och vad som är konsekvensen av att de uppstår, även hur   de uppfattar de positiva effekterna av en väl fungerande kommunikation.   För att undersöka området så har sju stycken   semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts på olika projektmedlemmar som jobbar   med utveckling i distribuerade agila team, även två möten har analyserats,   detta har genomförts med en kvalitativ studie. Individerna som agerat som   respondenter i studien jobbar alla på ett globalt IT-företag som vi har fått   tillgång till. Studien har utvecklats på plats hos detta IT-företag på ett   kontor beläget i Östersund. Respondenterna valdes utifrån rekommendationer   från företaget efter de roller som efterfrågats i studien.

El presente trabajo empieza con el marco teórico para establecer la definición de términos y conceptos específicos de investigación como Metodología Lean Six Sigma, Estudio de Métodos, Calidad, Eficiencia y Municiones. Luego, en el estado del arte, se reúne y analiza la información de diversos artículos de investigación para obtener un sustento científico y conocer el actual uso de las diferentes herramientas empleadas para dar soporte a la investigación. Después de establecer la importancia del sector en estudio, se realiza el diagnóstico de la empresa para identificar oportunidades de mejora. Empleando herramientas de ingeniería en el proceso de producción se identificó baja eficiencia, alta cantidad de productos no conformes, falta de estandarización y oportunidades de mejora. Se encontró alto porcentaje de defectos en el proceso de Formación de Copa Vaina; debido al desconocimiento de tiempo de vida útil de los utillajes, colocación errada de utillajes, desconocimiento de frecuencia de calibración, desconocimiento de frecuencia y método de set up. El proceso de lavado, el cual es indispensable a lo largo de la línea de producción, también presenta alto porcentaje de defectos debido a la mezcla errónea de los químicos empleados para lavar los casquillos. Se propone un modelo combinado de Lean Six Sigma y Métodos de trabajo para mejorar los problemas hallados en la línea de producción de casquillos, aumentando la eficiencia y reduciendo los defectos. Por último, se realizó una prueba piloto como método de validación logrando resultados óptimos al emplear el modelo combinado propuesto. / This applied research project begins with the theoretical framework to stablish the definition of specific research terms and concepts, such as Lean Six Sigma Methodology, Study of Methods, Quality, Efficiency and Ammunition. Then, in the state of the art, the information collected from various research articles is analyzed to obtain a scientific support and know the different tools used in them to support this investigation. After establishing the importance of the sector under study, the diagnosis of the company is made to identify opportunities for improvement. using different engineering tools in the production process line identified low efficiency, high quantity of non-conforming products, lack of standardization and opportunities for improvement. High percentage of defects were found in the Vaina Cup Formation process this due to lack of knowledge of useful lifetime tools, wrong placement of tolls, lack of knowledge of calibration frequency, frequency and set up method. The washing process, which is essential along the production line, also has a high percentage of defects due to the wrong mixing of the chemicals used to wash the case of the ammunition. a combined model of Lean Six Sigma and Work Methods is proposed to improve the problems found on the cartridge case production line, increasing efficiency and reducing defects. Finally, a pilot test was performed as a validation method, achieving optimal results when using the proposed combined model. / Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional
