dom?nio espec?fico.
entidades semanticamente relacionadas (alinhamento).
The increase in the volume of unstructured web data in recent decades has been
driven by the arising of new media, devices and technologies. In this context, the Semantic
Web was developed, whose objective is to provide a layer of knowledge representation to
that data, facilitating the treatment by automated processes. Ontologies are key elements
of the Semantic Web, providing a description of the concepts and relationships between
them, for a specific domain. However, ontologies of the same domain may differ in structure,
granularity or terminology, requiring a process of matching between them to be performed,
producing a set of correspondences between semantically related entities (alignment). A
growing number of matching approaches have emerged in the literature, and the need to
evaluate and qualitatively compare the produced alignments is presented. Tasks that make
use of alignments started to demand better graphical representations for it. In this context,
a survey was conducted with alignment specialists to identify the most important aspects in
an alignment visualization. This work presents an adaptative approach for alignment
visualization, that allows users to choose how and what to visualize, according to their own
preferences or the task being performed at that moment (creation, manipulation, evaluation,
etc.). Finally, a prototype was built with the purpose of validating the solution. The results
obtained from the prototype validation with users show that the approach handles the
problems it proposes to solve, with a margin for future work on alignment visualization.

Nimuendajú revisitado: arqueologia da antiga Guiana Brasileira / Nimuendajú riviewed: Archaeology of ancient Brazilian GuyanaFonseca Júnior, João Aires Ataide da 16 December 2008 (has links)
This work is a methodological effort to apply an Archaeological Predictive Model on sites known as Stone Alignments at the State of Amapá-Brazil. After some analyses of historical documents from the 1920\'s and 1940\'s, and the last surveys realized by Goeldi Museum in 2005, was possible to test empirically the predictive model. To its construction were used the discussions on site formation processes and the use of previous hypotheses created since the end of the XIX century. The results achieved allowed a brief view on the history of Amazon archaeology and the evaluation of technologies as the Geographical Information System (GIS) as a positive archaeological tool to produce researches in the region.

[en] CONFLICTS IN THE CLASSROOM: CONSTRUCTED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN TEACHER AND STUDENTS IN A UNIVERSITY COURSE / [pt] CONFLITOS EM SALA DE AULA: RELAÇÕES CONSTRUÍDAS ENTRE PROFESSOR E ALUNOS EM UM CURSO UNIVERSITÁRIOMONICA SPITALNIK NATHAN 05 July 2004 (has links)
fundamentação teórica se baseia nos pressupostos da
Sociolingüística Interacional para análise do discurso
oral. Realizou-se uma triangulação metodológica que incluiu
o método de observação participante, gravações em
vídeo/áudio e entrevistas. Os resultados mostram que os
conflitos entre os participantes decorrem de: relações
paradoxais criadas por alinhamentos contraditórios;
membros do grupo.
[en] This micro-analytical research, conducted in a formal
course at a graduate
school of computer science in Rio de Janeiro, describes and
analyzes the
appearance and management of conflicts between participants
in the classroom.
An Interactional Sociolinguistic theoretical perspective is
taken up to analyze oral
discourse. Methodological triangulation, which included
participant-observation,
video/audio recording, and interviewing, was carried out.
Results show that
conflicts between participants are brought about by:
paradoxical relationships due
to contradictory alignments; different expectations
associated to the course and its
agenda; different interpretations related to alignment
functions, and mitigated
asymmetrical relationships allowing humorous and aggressive
alignments to
become evident. Other results reveal how conflicts can be
important movements
in the construction of new relationships with other members
of the group. This
study is a reflection about conflict frames, which can
contribute to the teacher`s
practice as an educator.

[en] THE MEDIATOR ROLE IN MANAGEMENT AND CONFLICT NEGOTIATION IN CONCILIATION HEARINGS / [pt] O PAPEL DO MEDIADOR NO GERENCIAMENTO E NEGOCIAÇÕES DE CONFLITOS EM AUDIÊNCIAS DE CONCILIAÇÃOWANIA TEREZINHA LADEIRA 20 September 2005 (has links)
e empresas reclamadas
em um Juizado Especial Cível de Relações de Consumo.
Utiliza-se, como dados,
gravações de fala-em-interação em audiências de
conciliação desse juizado. A
Analisando o papel do
constrói a história do
Assim,
durante o relato do
tarefa institucional. / [en] Based on Interactional Sociolinguistics and Conversation
Analysis theories, this work
investigates the mediator role in conflict management
between costumers and product
and services suppliers in conciliation hearings in a
brazilian Small Claim Court
(Juizado Especial de Relações de Consumo). The date
consist of tape recordings of
talk-in-interaction in work place. Conflict resolution in
institutional settings is distinct
from informal dispute because its procedures define
especific roles for each
interaction participant. A particular institutional
mandate determine a interactional
organization where the participants rigths suffer
restrictions that are absent in
ordinary conversation. Norms expectations, distinct
participation status and sequence
of procedures are features of conciliation hearings that
make possible to identify two
moments in the hearings: narrative and negociation.
Analysing the mediator role in
the narrative moment, it was observed his co-contruction
of the consumer narrative
by questions and formulations. Thus, the mediator align
himself most of the time with
the consumer side during the conflict narrative. In the
negotiation moment, he may
change his alignment in order to do a institutional task
of making agreement between
disputants. Finally, there is an argument that mediator
alignments are oriented by his
institutional work.

Alinhamentos e comparação de sequências / Alignment and comparison of sequencesAraujo, Francisco Eloi Soares de 24 May 2012 (has links)
Comparison of finite sequences is a tool used to solve problems in several areas. In order to compare sequences, we infer which are the edit operations of substitution, insertion and deletion of symbols that transform one sequence into another. Scoring matrices are a widely used structure to define a cost for each type of edit operation. A scoring matrix G is indexed by symbols of an alphabet. The entry in G in row A and column B measures the cost of the edit operation for replacing symbol A by symbol B. Scoring matrices induce functions that assign a score for a set of edit operations. Some of these functions for comparing two and multiple sequences are studied in this thesis. If each symbol is edited exactly once for transforming a sequence into another, the set of edit operations can be represented by a structure called alignment. We describe a structure to represent the set of edit operations that cannot be represented by a conventional alignment and we design an algorithm to find the cost of an optimal sequence of edit operations by using a known algorithm to find the cost of an optimal alignment. Considering three different kinds of induced scoring functions, we characterize, for each one of them, the class of matrices for which the induced scoring functions are metrics on sequences. Given two scoring matrices G and G\', we say they are equivalent for a given function that is induced by a scoring matrix and that evaluates the quality of an alignment if, for any two alignments A and B of two sequences, we have the following: alignment A is ``better\'\' than B considering scoring matrix G if and only if A is ``better\'\' than B considering scoring matrix G\'. In this work, we determine necessary and sufficient conditions for scoring matrices to be equivalent. Finally, we define three new criteria for scoring alignments of several sequence. Every criterion considers the length of the alignment and the edit operations represented by it. An algorithm for each criterion is studied and the corresponding decision problem is shown to be NP-complete.

[en] In various cities is observed how much is attractive and interesting about the urban and landscape aspect, neighborhoods, regions and occupations adjacent the Urban Lagoons. Considering the complexity of the subject, the objective of this work is to propose methodology for the study of conditioning factors that can influence the determination of the limits of the alignment of urban lagoons in order to preserve the best conditions and environmental characteristics of the region, using CAD technology and GIS for the analysis and selection of such conditions.

This work is a case study which relates to Interactional Sociolinguistics researches and analyzes the teacher-student interaction as revealing the movement towards and away from the institutionalized context of the school. Postulating that there is a direct link between teacher-student interaction and learning, a micro-analysis of two lectures recorded on a art project was made in order to answer the following questions: how to characterize the teacher-student interaction in an art class at projeto Café com Pão Arte conFusão, in terms of alignments of participants and framings evoked on this situation, and which linguistic-discursive and contextual elements are relevant in this interaction? We analyzed the social roles, power relations and communicative actions of the teacher are favorable response on the student and those that create barriers to interaction. It was concluded that, in the specific context of recorded classes , the relationship between teacher-student interaction and learning can exist, but it is not the main responsible for the results achieved in this project. The teacher, on herspecific role did not revealed different from the typical patterns as it was expected, but her acting as a playwright makes effectively the interaction with the students and renders suggestive the conjugation between the teaching of language and art.
