The dynamics of this new structure of business is configured in the model B2B, Business to Business, i.e. on the establishment of trade relations corporate as opposed to the traditional model doctor-patient-pharmacy, called in the scope of this study, such as B2C, Business to Consumer. The field research was carried out by means of personal interview, through of a questionnaire pre-prepared with a part of questions interrogations and other multiple-choice. The sample consisted of six leaders of the team of six different pharmaceutical industries, all multinationals and with high representatives of the turnover of the segment, which provides a relevant basic research. In the results, it was highlighted the lack of indicators consistent in order to measure in an efficient manner the performance of the teams. At the same time, we perceive a dichotomy in the role of leadership in this new dynamic of business and of the team, since the leaders surveyed have strengthened in general lines the need to delegate and to act in a more strategic to have a team with a profile more experienced, but at the same time, it was presented a discomfort with the absence of mechanisms to control more solid as their own performance indicators.

Event marketing jako nástroj marketingové komunikace a jeho využití v B2B praxi / Event marketing as a marketing communication tool and its use in B2B practice

Bártová, Tereza January 2011 (has links)
This diploma thesis addresses one of the modern marketing communication tools -- event marketing whose importance is steeply growing in these days not only abroad but also in the Czech Republic. The objective of this work is to analyze certain problems associated with event marketing involvement in the marketing communication mix of a company occurring in the business-to-business sector. The first part of the work is devoted to the theoretical introduction to different issues around event marketing. However, its main content is created by a view of the situation of the particular company -- MECAS ESI s.r.o. In this part I put emphasis on three event types, using them to carry out a deeper analysis with the aim to reveal their essential problems and to propose certain recommendations to the future. Regarding the applied methods, I use especially structured interviews with particular members of the company, further I gain some information also from a questionnaire survey carried out among event attendees and finally I complete these results with my own knowledge and experience from the company's environment. In the end I come to the conclusion that most of the problems are caused by the insufficient level of cooperation between the sales and marketing department.

Unknown Date (has links)

B2B e-commerce, market orientation, export commitment and export performance: an empirical examination of SMEs in China

Chen, Ya-Chun Unknown Date (has links)
無 / Attracted by the promise of greater market exposure and increase revenues, some firms have adopted B2B electronic market to expand international markets. However, do firms reap export performance benefits of increased extent of B2B electronic market? Besides, what accounts for different export performance, in other word, under what conditions, the extent of exporters’ B2B electronic market adoption will have positive effects on export performance? Drawing from resource based view; this study develops a conceptual framework which links the relationship between the extent of exporters’ B2B electronic market adoption and export performance. And then, analyzing the data collected from in-depth interview with managers in China, the study propose several propositions in the linkages between the adoption of B2B electronic market, market orientation, export commitment and export performance. The results concluded in the following statement. Firstly, the greater extent of usage of B2B electronic market, the better the exporters’ export performance. Furthermore, both market orientation and export commitment moderate the relationships between the extent of exporters’ B2B electronic market and export performance. Overall, we found that the greater the firm’s market orientation, the greater is the influence of B2B electronic market on export performance. Additionally, the greater the firm’s export commitment, the greater is the influence of B2B electronic market on export performance.

XML-based Frameworks for Internet Commerce and an Implementation of B2B e-procurement

Zhao, Yuxiao January 2001 (has links)
<p>It is not easy to apply XML in e-commerce development for achieving interoperability in heterogeneous environments. One of the reasons is a multitude of XML-based Frameworks for Internet Commerce (XFIC), or industrial standards. This thesis surveys 15 frameworks, i.e., ebXML, eCo Framework, UDDI, SOAP, BizTalk, cXML, ICE, Open Applications Group, RosettaNet, Wf-XML, OFX, VoiceXML, RDF, WSDL and xCBL.</p><p>This thesis provides three models to systematically understand how the 15 frameworks meet the requirements of e-commerce. A hierarchical model is presented to show the purpose and focus of various XFIC initiatives. A relationship model is given to show the cooperative and competitive relationships between XFIC. A chronological model is provided to look at the development of XFIC. In addition, the thesis offers guidelines for how to apply XFIC in an e-commerce development.</p><p>We have also implemented a B2B e-procurement system. That not only demonstrates the feasibility of opensource or freeware, but also validates the complementary roles of XML and Java: XML is for describing contents and Java is for automating XML documents (session handling). Auction-based dynamic pricing is also realized as a feature of interest. Moreover, the implementation shows the suitability of e-procurement for educational purposes in e-commerce development.</p> / Report code: LiU-Tek-Lic-2001:19.

Industrial Marketing in a Network Perspective : A Qualitative study of ABB Crane Systems and its Sales Network

Strömberg, Peter, Jain, Sandeep January 2011 (has links)
Research question: How is the sales network of ABB Crane system related to industrial marketing in anetwork perspective? Purpose of the research:The main task is to investigate if the sales network of ABB Crane Systems is related toestablished theory of industrial marketing in a network perspective. Method: The research strategy has been formed from a deductive approach and the empiricaldata has been gathered with a qualitative approach. Both primary and secondary data hasbeen used in order to fulfill the purpose of our paper. The empirical findings representthe primary data which was gathered through interviews with the management of ABB Crane Systems. The secondary data was gathered from journal articles, literature, ABB’s website and Mälardalen University’s databases. Conclusion: With the help of three different theories, it has been concluded that the sales network ofABB Crane Systems has a rather close relationship with Industrial Marketing in anetwork perspective. However, it has also been found that the company is not entirelyrelated to the important aspect of embeddedness in its sales network, which is adeliberate strategy in order to minimize the risks of miscommunication, maintain controlover the sales process, remain flexible, as well as not waste scarce resources. Theimplication is that the level of embeddedness in the industry depends on several factorssuch as market concentration, competition, number of projects per year, size of availableprojects, the stage in the relationship building process and overall market uncertainty.

What Influences B2B Buying Behaviour? : An empirical study of Fläkt Woods and its customers

Lejon, Elina, Wahlund, Linda-Marie, Berggren, Jennie January 2005 (has links)
This study has been conducted in cooperation with Fläkt Woods, an industrial supplier of ventilation systems. The study only concerned chilled beams which are an explicit group of ventilation products within Fläkt Woods’ product portfolio. The purpose of the study was to explore how Fläkt Woods’ customers perceive certain elements when choosing Fläkt Woods as a supplier of chilled beams and why they perceive them the way they do. The elements include quality, service, technical performance, technical knowledge, communication, time of delivery, installation, calculation program, flexibility, market adjustment, technical documentation, relationships and geographic distance. The study has been conducted employing a combination of both a quantitative and a qualitative approach in which a questionnaire has been sent out to Fläkt Woods’ customers in order to shed light on their opinions. The results showed that most of Fläkt Woods’ customers are satisfied or even very satisfied with the elements that were investigated. The elements that the customers were most satisfied with concerning the chilled beams were quality, service and technical knowledge. They believe that Fläkt Woods’ products have a good finish, that they are easy to get in touch with, that they are able and willing to give quick answers and feedback and that they have great knowledge about their chilled beams. The element that the customers are least satisfied with and that Fläkt Woods need to improve is flexibility. Even if Fläkt Woods believe that their special solutions are flexible, their customers do not fully agree. The customers’ attitude towards the flexibility is that Fläkt Woods prefer to provide standard solutions of chilled beams rather than offering special solutions. The results also showed that Fläkt Woods’ competitors are one step ahead considering the design of chilled beams. Thus, design is an element of the marketing program that Fläkt Woods need to improve. Furthermore, the study showed that relationships and communication which represent the “soft” elements concerning human interaction are just as important as the rest of the elements. Thus, Fläkt Woods need to consider these elements as well as the others when outlining the marketing program.

Augmented Reality : The current and potential use of augmented reality in B2B

Gankhuyag, Azjargal, Xiang, Bingqing, Bonnevie, Victoria January 2015 (has links)
In today’s world, we live in a technologically advanced environment where information access is huge and limitless. The advantage to this is that, people are able to create more information, share and communicate with each other instantly on the go regardless of where they are in the world. However on the downside, with endless information, it becomes confusing and difficult to filter which information is right for a person’s need. This goes hand-in-hand for business companies, as it requires strategic processes and tools to identify the information from the market, store and evaluate it into meaningful insights and lastly communicate it efficiently so that the value of it is not lost along the way. Therefore this study focuses on how augmented reality (AR) as an emerging digital technology is able to dissect and communicate information and bring value to those who are implementing it. What is more interesting in this study is to see the usefulness and ease of using AR from commercial and non-commercial aspects in B2B field. This study was conducted through a qualitative research approach with semi-structured interviews with five companies providing and using AR applications. In conclusion, AR brings value by transferring data faster and communicating it effectively through visualization of integrating computer-generated information with the real world as one. From commercial aspect, companies could use this technology in their marketing communication to increase customer involvement and perception of the brand. In contrast, from non-commercial perspective, companies could use AR as an internal resource to increase efficiency in operation process.

Unknown Date (has links)
