Esta dissertação tem por objetivo elaborar uma Edição Crítico-Genética Virtual dos contos reunidos no livro Histórias da meia-noite, de Machado de Assis, os quais foram inicialmente publicados no periódico Jornal das Famílias. O trabalho pretende ressaltar as mudanças, supressões e acréscimos realizados pelo autor com a finalidade de esclarecer os processos de criação subjacentes à reescrita dos contos, assim como estabelecer relações entre os veículos de publicação e os diferentes perfis de leitores e compreender como o escritor se posicionava diante dessas peculiaridades. Pretende-se ainda disponibilizar esse conteúdo em um site que facilite a localização desses contos e a visualização das alterações. Com isso, espera-se propor também algumas bases para a realização de futuras edições de outras obras literárias / This dissertations goal is to elaborate a Virtual Critical Genetic Edition of Historias da meia-noites short stories, by Machado de Assis, which were first published in the periodic Jornal das Famílias. This research aims to highlight the changes, deletions and additions made by the author in order to understand the creation process of those short stories, as well as the particularities of each media and public where they were first published. Furthermore, we intend to make it available to the public on a website that make it easier to locate and visualize the changes

Esta dissertação tem como proposta a edição semidiplomática justalinear de testamentos do século XVII (1651-1700), conservados no Arquivo Histórico Municipal de Taubaté, Felix Guisard Filho. O trabalho visa a oferecer a publicação de uma edição fidedigna de 37 testamentos, para os estudos filológicos, linguísticos, históricos e culturais do período colonial brasileiro. Apresenta-se o estudo histórico da vila de São Francisco das Chagas de Taubaté no século XVII, época em que foram escritos os testamentos, e o estudo filológico, que contempla a análise diplomática, codicológica e paleográfica dos manuscritos. Segue-se a edição semidiplomática e constam no fim do trabalho dois Apêndices com os índices de topônimos e antropônimos. A análise paleográfica apresenta-se em quadros dos 37 diferentes punhos que lavraram os testamentos. O exame paleográfico tem o objetivo de identificar as variações gráficas do período, buscando oferecer subsídios para o estudo da escrita seiscentista do Brasil colonial, visto que a bibliografia a respeito é muito escassa. A edição semidiplomática, acompanhada do fac-símile, será o resultado do trabalho. O corpus estudado é relevante para o estudo representativo do estado da língua portuguesa na segunda metade do século XVII / This dissertation proposes the justalinear semidiplomatic edition of testaments dated from 17th century (1651-1700), conserved at the Arquivo Histórico Municipal de Taubaté, Felix Guisard Filho. The work aims to offer a reliable publication of an edition of 37 testaments to philological, linguistic, historical and cultural studies of Brazilian colonial period. Presents the historical study of the Village of São Francisco das Chagas de Taubaté during 17th century, period that testaments were written, and a philological study, that include diplomatic, codicological and paleographic analysis of the manuscripts. It follows the semidiplomatic editing and listed at the end of work two appendices with Toponyms and Anthroponyms index. The paleographic analysis presents in tables with 37 different handwriting who wrote the wills. The paleographical examination aims to identify the graphics variation during the period, seeking to provide subsidies to the writing study in colonial Brazil during the 17th century, as literature about this subject is very uncommon. The semidiplomatic edition, followed by facsimile will be the result of the work. The corpus studied is relevant to representative study of the state of the Portuguese language in the second half of the 17th century

O trabalho aqui apresentado consiste na reunião, organização, estabelecimento de texto e notas, em um único volume, dos poemas de Paulo Mendes Campos. A forma final que tomou esta dissertação evoluiu organicamente durante o processo de pesquisa, mais por necessidade que por opção inicial. Dadas as condições em que se encontrava a organização dos poemas do autor mineiro até o momento em que iniciamos nossa pesquisa, tal necessidade mostrou-se imperativa para que seja possível, posteriormente a esse esforço, aprofundar o contato com a produção do poeta de maneira mais sistemática, visto que ela, diferentemente de outras que costumam ser estudadas na universidade já mais pesquisadas e canônicas , não havia recebido, até o momento, um tratamento que a tornasse mais acessível ao tipo de leitura que é necessário ser feito quando tomamos a obra de um autor como objeto de estudo. Além da reunião e organização dos poemas, foi realizado procedimento de cotejo entre as várias edições. A pesquisa foi feita em bibliotecas, hemerotecas (físicas e virtuais) e acervos de institutos de pesquisa. Recorreu-se também à aquisição de livros em sebos. Espera-se, assim, que esse esforço inicial ora apresentado contribua de maneira a estimular o estudo e a divulgação de uma obra que, há tempos, é merecedora de atenção. / The objective of our work evolved organically during the research process, until its final form, more by necessity than by initial option, and consisted in: gathering, editoring and establishing the text of the poems of Paulo Mendes Campos, in order to enable the study and contribute to the dissemination of his work. Given the conditions in which the poet\'s work was organized up until the moment we began our research, this necessity proved imperative so that it is possible, after this effort, to deepen the contact with the poet\'s work in a more systematic way, since, unlike that of other authors who are usually studied in the university already more researched and canonical it had not yet received a treatment that made it more accessible to the type of reading that is necessary to be done when we take a literary work as object of study. In addition to the gathering and organization of the author\'s poems, a collating procedure was carried out between the various editions. Extensive research was done in libraries (physical and virtual) and collections of research institutes, as well as the acquisition of used books.

O propósito deste trabalho é estabelecer uma edição semidiplomática justalinear do manuscrito inédito e completo da Biblioteca Nacional de Lisboa, cód. 677, intitulado História Topográfica e Bélica da Nova Colônia do Sacramento do Rio da Prata, contribuindo assim para futuras pesquisas filológicas, lingüísticas e históricas. Mantemos todos os pormenores quanto às correções e acréscimos existentes no texto, a fim de evidenciar que o testemunho contém uma obra ainda em elaboração. O trabalho trata dos seguintes aspectos da obra: Autoria, obra e contexto histórico; Testemunhos conhecidos; Normas de transcrição e Edição semidiplomática do manuscrito de Lisboa. / The intention of this work is to establish a justalinear semidiplomatic edition of the unknown and complete manuscript of the Lisbon National Library, codex 677, intitled História Topográfica e Bélica da Nova Colônia do Sacramento do Rio da Prata, contributing for future philological, linguistic and historical researches, thus. We keep all the details about the existing corrections and additions in the text, in order to substantiate that the testemony still contains a work in elaboration. This work deals with the following aspects of the work: Authorship, work and historical context; Known testemonies; Rules for transcription and Semidiplomatic edition of the Lisbon manuscript.

O objetivo desta dissertação é oferecer uma fixação crítica do texto do Sumario das Armadas (ca. 1589), crônica jesuítica do século XVI que narra as guerras de conquista do território da Paraíba, a partir de um estudo crítico das suas variantes. O manuscrito autógrafo se perdeu, e atualmente se conhecem três apógrafos que contêm variantes da crônica, todos eles salvaguardados em instituições portuguesas: o manuscrito da Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal, o manuscrito da Biblioteca Pública de Évora e o testemunho da Academia das Ciências de Lisboa, testemunho que se encontra no códice intitulado Historia da Capitania da Paraiba. A fim de se realizar a fixação do texto do Sumario das Armadas (ca. 1589), as variantes foram transcritas e comparadas uma a uma. E, a partir das comparações, optou-se por se estabelecer a fixação, tomando por base o testemunho existente no códice da Historia da Capitania da Paraiba. Não se trata, portanto, de um trabalho de crítica histórica dos eventos narrados, mas do estabelecimento e estudo de um texto compreensão da sua circulação, da possível autoria e data de redação. Na primeira parte encontra-se o estudo introdutório e na segunda parte estão as regras de transcrição e o texto fixado, com notas que registram as diferenças referentes às outras duas variantes. / The purpose of this work is to offer a single manuscript edition of the Sumario das Armadas (ca. 1589) text, a Jesuit chronicle written on the sixteenth century which describes the conquest Paraibas territory, based on a critical study of its textual variants. The autograph manuscript has been lost, and three apographs are known nowadays that contain variants of the chronicle, all safeguarded in Portuguese institutions: the manuscript of the National Library of Portugal, the manuscript of the Public Library of Évora and the testimony of the Academy of Sciences of Lisbon, which codex is titled Historia da Capitania da Paraiba. In order to provide a single manuscript edition of the Sumario das Armadas (ca. 1589), the variants were transcribed and compared one by one. From this process the textual differences were established which analysis indicated the best testemony is the one found in the codex Historia da Capitania da Paraiba. It is not, therefore, a work of historical criticism of the events narrated, but the single manuscript edition and study of a text, the understanding of its circulation, of the possible authorship and date of writing. In the first part of work there is the introductory study and in the second part there are the rules of transcription and the single manuscript edition, along the notes that reremark the differences referring to the other two variants.

A Sonata para Violoncelo e Piano de Almeida Prado merece ocupar um papel de destaque na produção recente para o Violoncelo. Esse trabalho servirá como ponto de apoio para violoncelistas interessados na performance da Sonata, bem como à instrumentistas de cordas que buscam melhor compreender as peculiaridades da interpretação das peças deste compositor. O procedimento metodológico constou de quatro etapas. Em primeiro lugar foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico explorando os autores que discorreram sobre a vida e obra de Almeida Prado. Em um segundo momento, foram coletados dados através de entrevistas e aulas com o compositor e entrevistas com Sonia Rubinsky, pianista responsável pela estreia e encomenda da obra. Na terceira etapa, a peça foi apresentada em diferentes ocasiões, incluindo um recital com a pianista Rubinksy. Estas experiências, juntamente com os dados coletados, resultaram na edição da parte de Violoncelo e gravação em vídeo. Por fim, foi realizada uma análise técnico/interpretativa da obra, utilizando-se dos dados coletados nas entrevistas, pesquisa bibliográfica e recitais. / The Sonata for Cello and Piano de Almeida Prado deserves to occupy a prominent position in the recent production for Cello. This work will serve as support for cellists interested in the performance of the Sonata, as well as string instrumentalists seeking to better understand the peculiarities of interpretation of this composer\'s works. The methodological procedure consisted of four stages. First off a review of the literature was conducted exploring the authors who wrote about the life and work of Almeida Prado. Secondly, data was collected through interviews and lessons with the composer, as well as interviews with Sonia Rubinsky, pianist responsible for the premiere and commission of the sonata. In the third stage, the piece was presented on several occasions, including a recital with pianist Rubinksy. These experiences, together with the collected data, resulted in the edition of the Cello part and a video recording. Finally, a technical/interpretive analysis of the work was carried out, utilizing the data collected during the interviews, bibliographic research and recitals.

Edição semidiplomática de documentos manuscritos do século XVIII (1705-1719) lavrados pelo Conselho Ultramarino, com vistas a oferecer edição confiável para a pesquisa em História da Língua Portuguesa e Lingüística Histórica. Trata-se de estudo baseado em critérios paleográficos que busca oferecer subsídios para a escrita desse século, visto que a bibliografia a respeito é muito escassa. Este trabalho está dividido em três partes: 1) descrição do corpus e comentário sobre o provável escriba dos documentos do Conselho Ultramarino; 2) caracterização da escrita presente no corpus, seu processo de leitura e levantamento detalhado do alfabeto, com descrição do processo de formação de cada letra e classificação das abreviaturas; 3) edição semidiplomática dos documentos. / Semidiplomatic edition of manuscripts documents of XVIII century (1705-1719), cultivated by the Conselho Ultramarino, in Portugal, with sights to offer trustworthy edition for the research in Portuguese Language and Historical Linguistic. One is about study based on paleographical criteria that it searches to offer subsidies for the writing of this century, since the bibliography the respect is very scarce. This work is divided in three parts: 1) description of the corpus and brief explanation about the probable scribe of documents of the Conselho Ultramarino; 2) characterization of the present writing in the corpus, its process of reading and the detailed survey of the alphabet, with description of the process of formation of each letter and classification of abbreviations; 3) the semidiplomatic edition of documents.

Esta tese explora o conteúdo dos chamados diários de Juca Teles, figura folclórica da cidade de São Luiz do Paraitinga (SP), possuidores de características que refogem ao que tradicionalmente se espera do gênero literário diário pessoal. Esses diários consistem num misto de agenda de trabalho, relatos de fatos da cidade e caderno de poesia, que, unidos, parecem conduzir a uma espécie de caleidoscópio de pessoas e circunstâncias, que se sucedem de forma aparentemente caótica e sem lógica. Dizemos aparentemente, porque os cadernos são bem cuidados, a letra é de bom traçado e praticamente não há borrões ou rasuras. Focado em apenas um dos diversos cadernos existentes, o estudo pretendeu, em primeiro lugar, avaliar se o caleidoscópio de que falamos consistiria em uma unidade, apesar da aparente fragmentação; em seguida, procurou-se avaliar se ele seria uma espécie de obra coletiva, evocativa da memória de toda a cidade, uma vez que há poucas referências pessoais ao autor e muita ênfase no cotidiano e na enumeração das pessoas; e, ao final, procurou-se confirmar se realmente se está diante de um \"diário\" ou se o material estaria enquadrado em gênero textual distinto. Concluído que se trata de um diário, traçou-se um estatuto mínimo do gênero diário, pouco estudado em termos constitutivos. Tal estudo foi desenvolvido com recursos da teoria do texto de linha bakhtiniana, da psicologia moderna, mais especialmente da abordagem integrativa transpessoal (o que, como se procurará demonstrar, não tem contradição com a adoção da linha de pensamento de Bakhtin), e da teoria existente sobre o gênero diário. Procedeu-se também à edição do caderno escolhido, de forma que se pudesse verificar o estilo do autor e ter contato mais próximo com as personagens e fatos que compõem o conteúdo do corpus. / This thesis explores the content of the so-called Juca Teles diaries. Juca Teles was a folkloric character from São Luiz do Paraitinga (São Paulo State, Brazil), and his notebooks have specific details that dont follow the expected lines in a personal diary. The diaries contain work notes, a description of some city events and poetry together, as a kaleidoscope of people and facts, apparently chaotic and without logic. We say apparently, because the notebooks are in good state, the handwriting is clear and there is almost not a single erasure in them. The study focuses in only one of the various notebooks, intending to analyse if this kaleidoscope could be a single unite, nonetheless its apparent fragmentation. It will also aim to prove this corpus consists in a collective writing, containing the citys memoir, as there are little personal references to Juca Teles and too much emphasis on day-to-day life and lists of people. Also, it will try to prove if this corpus is a real diary. If we can prove that this corpus is really a diary, we will define this gender, due to the lack of studies regarding the subject. We will develop this study with resources from Bakhtin\'s theory, modern psychology (which can be combined with Bakhtinian theory, as it will be proven later) and pre-existent theory on diaries. Also, we will edit the notebooks content, to verify the authors style and to have a closer contact with characters and facts that are inside the diary.

A dissertação aborda a difusão da literatura marxista no Brasil na década de 1940 no período de reorganização e legalidade do PCB (Partido Comunista Brasileiro), que tem início com a II Conferência Nacional do partido em agosto de 1943 (Conferência da Mantiqueira) e vai até a cassação dos parlamentares comunistas pelo governo Dutra em janeiro de 1948. Trata-te de entender essa difusão pela atuação do editor José Calvino Filho e da Editorial Calvino Limitada, ligada ao PCB. Para isso, são analisados os catálogos dessa editora, os anúncios da mesma, artigos do editor presentes nos periódicos da época, além dos livros editados por ele. Por essa análise pretende-se compreender o papel das edições do partido na sua reorganização e na conformação do movimento comunista brasileiro no período, levando em conta as obras de caráter marxista publicados por Calvino Filho nesses anos, a sua natureza (doutrinária, política, de organização partidária, literatura operária, análises sobre a Rússia socialista, memórias, etc.), o nível de produção da editora através do número de publicações, e a relação entre o tipo de obras publicadas e a linha política adotada pelo partido nesse momento. / The thesis addresses the diffusion of the Marxist literature in Brazil during the 1940s in the period of reorganisation and and legitimacy of the PCB (Communist Brazilian Party), which begins with the Second National Conference of the party in August 1943 (Mantiqueira Conference) and goes on until de repeal of the communist parliamentarians by the Dutra government in January 1948. It regards understanding this diffusion through the performance of the editor José Calvino Filho and the Editorial Calvino Limitada, connected to PCB. For that, the catalogues of the aforementioned publishing company and its advertising have been analysed, as well as articles by the editor printed in the newspapers of the time, and the books edited by him. Through this analysis it is intended to comprehend the role of the partys editions in its reorganisation and in the conformation of the Brazilian communist movement of the time, taking into account the works of Marxist features published by Calvino Filho in these years, their nature (doctrinaire, political, of party organisation, working literature, analysis over socialist Russia, memories, etc), the level of production of the publishing company through the number of publications, and the relationship between the type of published works and the political line adopted by the party in this moment.

Am Beispiel der altgermanistischen Edition wird dargelegt, dass das Buch als Publikationsort herausgefordert ist: Einerseits haben die Diskussionen zur ''New Philology'' gezeigt, dass die Möglichkeiten des Printmediums erschöpft sind. Andererseits hat sich durch die ''Neuen Medien'' der Erwartungshorizont der Leser-Benutzer gravierend verschoben. Obwohl die elektronische Datenverarbeitung im Editionsprozess seit Beginn des digitalen Zeitalters eine bedeutende Rolle spielt, fällt es dem Fach schwer, diesem Horizont und den daraus resultierenden Ansprüchen gerecht zu werden. Das liegt daran, dass – der Theorie nach – bei Medienumbrüchen das alte Medium dem neuen den Aktionsradius vorgibt, sodass Bremseffekte stets die Entwicklung beeinflussen. In der Praxis bedeutet dies, dass die digitalen Medien nur als Präsentationsvehikel ausgebeutet werden. Zwar werden Handschriften, Buchbestände und Texte erschlossen und im Internet zugänglich gemacht, sodass klassische Editionen (Faksimile, diplomatischer Abdruck, Fassungsedition oder historisch-kritische Ausgabe) nicht mehr nur im gedruckten Buch abgebildet werden. Jedoch macht schon die Rezeption an unterschiedlichen Endgeräten (E-Book-Reader, PC-Bildschirmen, Smartphones, Braille Displays etc.) Grenzen sichtbar. Noch deutlicher wird dies unterhalb der sich wechselseitig treibenden Wirkkräfte Standardisierung, Interoperabilität, Ausdifferenzierung, Kollaboration, Webapplikationen, Semantik, Zugänglichkeit, Barrierefreiheit und Legalität. Sie stellen für die komplexe Textedition einen völlig neuen Anforderungskatalog dar, der die statische Präsentation der Ergebnisse hinter sich lässt. Dieses traditionelle Ziel allen Edierens rückt gegenüber dem Editionsprozess und dem genuinen Potential der digitalen Medien, der Trennung der Präsentation vom Speicher, in den Hintergrund. Entscheidend wird sein, dass Editionsdaten für das fortgesetzte Bearbeiten offen und dabei auf verschiedensten Endgeräten flexibel präsentierbar bleiben. / Looking at recent publications of medieval German texts reveals two challenges to the dominance of the printed book as the principal place for publishing: On the one hand, the ''New Philology'' has shown that the possibilities of print are exhausted. On the other hand, the expectations of the 21st century reader/user have radically changed. Despite the fact that from the beginning, digital data processing has played a major role in the editing process, it is very hard to live up to these expectations. This is because - in theory - the old medium dictates limitations to the new one, slowing down the process of expansion and change. In practice this means that so far digital media have been used only as a vehicle for presentation. With manuscripts, book collections and texts being extensively captured and made available on the Internet, classical editions (facsimiles, diplomatic editions, edited versions and historical-critical editions) are increasingly being published outside the printed book. Nevertheless, the reception of this digital content on different devices (e-book readers, computer screens, smartphones, braille displays etc.) has its limitations. This becomes even more obvious when one considers the mutually active forces of standardization, interoperability, differentiation, collaboration, web applications, semantics, availability, accessibility and legality. These establish a whole new list of requirements that goes beyond the static presentation of the results of the editing process. While the traditional goal of all editing processes is losing its importance, it nevertheless opens up the genuine potential of digital media: the separation of presentation from memory. In the future, publishing data could be kept open for further processing and would remain flexible for presentation on all kinds of devices.
