Marknadsaktiviteter vid produktlansering är ett samarbete med Haglöfs Scandinavia AB. Våren 2010 utfördes ett samarbetade med Haglöfs då ett underlag för utökat produktsortiment inom konfektion togs fram. På uppdrag av Haglöfs ska ett förslag framställas på hur en lansering ska kunna se ut om juniorkollektionen introduceras på den svenska marknaden. Hur fungerar det med produktlanseringens strategiska och taktiska lanseringsbeslut och vilka marknadsföringskanaler är lämpliga vid en produktlansering inom outdoorbranschen.Rapporten behandlar hur dagens företag inom outdoorbranschen i Sverige fullgör sina marknadsaktiviteter vid en produktlansering. Strategiska och taktiska lanseringsbeslut illustreras samt utvalda marknadsföringskanaler skildras.En lanseringsstrategi beskriver de marknadsföringsbeslut som är nödvändiga för att presentera en ny produkt till respektive målgrupp och börja generera en inkomst i form av försäljning av den nya produkten. De här marknadsföringsbesluten för nya produkter är refererade under termer som inträde på marknaden, lanseringsstrategi, produktlansering, kommersialisering samt introducering. Relationsmarknadsföring är ett brett begrepp inom marknadsföring och innebär att kraften hos relationer är en grund för marknadskommunikation. Inriktning är mot interaktion, relationer och nätverk. Event marketing, social media samt butikskommunikation används som marknadsföringsverktyg i rapporten.Inom outdoorbranschen ses ett genomgående mönster att företagen arbetar likartat och lägger ner mycket tid vid lanseringar av nya produkter. Genom utvalda marknadsaktiviteter försöker företagen skapa och bibehålla relationer med konsumenter. De aktiviteter som ligger i framkant inom outdoorbranschen är event marketing, social media samt butikskommunikation.Marketing activities at product launch is a collaboration with Haglofs Scandinavia AB. In the spring of 2010 was a cooperation with Haglofs as a basis for broader product range in the clothing was produced. On behalf of Haglofs should a suggestion be made on how the launch of the junior collection will be like if it is introduced on the Swedish market. How does it work with the product launch with strategic and tactical launch decisions and which marketing channels are appropriate for a product launch within the outdoor industry.The report discusses how today's companies within the outdoor industry in Sweden fulfills its marketing activities at a product launch. Strategic and tactical launch decisions are presented and selected marketing channels are depicted.A launch strategy describes the marketing decisions that are necessary to introduce a new product to its target market and start generating an income through sales of the new product. These marketing decisions for new products are referenced in terms of market entry, launch strategy, product launch, commercialization and introductions. Relationship marketing is a broad concept in marketing and is meant that relationships are a basis for marketing communication. Focus is on interaction, relationships and networks. Event marketing, social media and store communication are used as marketing tools in the report.Within the outdoor industry a consistent pattern has seen that companies work similarly and have spent much time at the launch of new products. Through successful marketing companies trying to create and maintain relationships with consumers. This diploma thesis addresses one of the modern marketing communication tools -- event marketing whose importance is steeply growing in these days not only abroad but also in the Czech Republic. The objective of this work is to analyze certain problems associated with event marketing involvement in the marketing communication mix of a company occurring in the business-to-business sector. The first part of the work is devoted to the theoretical introduction to different issues around event marketing. However, its main content is created by a view of the situation of the particular company -- MECAS ESI s.r.o. In this part I put emphasis on three event types, using them to carry out a deeper analysis with the aim to reveal their essential problems and to propose certain recommendations to the future. Regarding the applied methods, I use especially structured interviews with particular members of the company, further I gain some information also from a questionnaire survey carried out among event attendees and finally I complete these results with my own knowledge and experience from the company's environment. In the end I come to the conclusion that most of the problems are caused by the insufficient level of cooperation between the sales and marketing department.

<p>Inom kunskapsbaserade yrken är det viktigt att rekrytera kompetent personal. Med hjälp av employer branding ökar möjligheten för företag att stärka sin attraktionskraft mot framtida potentiell arbetskraft. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka samt att jämföra hur Deloitte, KPMG, Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers samt Ernst & Young marknadsför sig som arbetsgivare mot Uppsalas ekonomistudenter. Fokus ligger på hur företagens frontpersoner, samt de evenemang företagen genomför, påverkar företagens attraktionskraft. Utifrån employer branding-teorier och med hjälp av intervjuer med studentkoordinatorerna på de undersökta företagen samt en undersökning av företagens evenemang har slutsatser dragits kring hur dessa faktorer påverkar hur attraktivt ett företag, enligt Universums Företagsbarometer, är hos ekonomistudenter på Uppsala universitet. Undersökningen visar att en stark studentkoordinator kan hjälpa företaget att klättra på rankingen, men också skada det långsiktiga employer branding-arbetet. Evenemangen i sig visar sig vara av mindre betydelse än de frontpersoner som representerar företagen i mötet med studenterna.</p>

<p>As the title insinuate, this essay illustrate Event Marketing as a marketing instrument, and how it can be used as a tool to facilitate brandbuilding and improve relationships. We have come to the understanding that Event Marketing is in the course of constant development. It seems like Event Marketing as a marketing tool is starting to get its well-merited position in the marketing mix throughout the world, since companies and other organisations have realized that Event Marketing is a powerful tool for differentiation. We have also seen that Event Marketing in the business world lately has come to be more important for building and maintaining relationships, as well as carrying marketing messages.</p><p>In this essay we discuss Event Marketing in three sections; brand, relationships, and customer experience. Among these topics, inter alia Integrated Marketing Communications, Sensory Marketing, and Service-dominant Logic are presented. The three sections are ultimatley supposed to establish a part of the entirety of Event Marketing.</p><p>This essay is a commission from the building company Skanska in Sweden, with the purpose of throwing a new light on their customer-oriented event Skanskadagen in the south-east district of the Swedish market. We have performed eleven qualitative interviews; nine with management and personnel within Skanska, and two with event managers from two different bureaus in Sweden. As a complement to these interviews, we have studied literature, documents, and articles – with and without a scientific basis. The conclusions and recommendations are presented in chapter 8.</p><p> </p>

A Fashionable Occasion : Hur event kan påverka modeföretags varumärkesbyggande

Denna studie syftar till att ge en överblick och förståelse kring hur modeföretag arbetar med varumärkesbyggande via event. Studien syftar också till att undersöka och tillföra en djupare förståelse om varumärken och event som fenomen. Varumärken används ofta av människor för att visa en tillhörighet och ekonomisk status, inte minst inom modebranschen. Den påverkan event har på varumärken har tidigare studerats i förhållande till sportevent, medan forskningen kring modebranschen är begränsad. Detta trots att event ofta förekommer inom modebranschen. Därmed skrivs denna uppsats för att tillföra mer kunskap inom denna forskningslucka. En studie genomfördes baserat på intervjuer med flera modeföretag och varumärkesexperter i Sverige och USA. Svaren från intervjuerna analyserades sedan i förhållande till de valda teorierna som rör både event och varumärken. Teorierna som använts är eventmarknadsföring, varumärkesupplevelse, organisationsidentitet, konsumentbaserat varumärkesvärde och översättningsteori. De resultat som framkom av studien presenteras i en modell med de nyckelfaktorer som framkommit vara viktiga för ett lyckat event. För att besvara frågeställningen är slutsatsen som presenteras att event kan påverka varumärkesbyggande, men vilket sätt det förstärks på är svårt och resurskrävande att mäta. Vid slutet av denna uppsats kommer läsaren att ha en starkare kunskap och förståelse om varumärken och event, samt en övergripande bild kring hur dessa två fenomen är anslutna. / This study aims to give an overview and understanding of how the fashion companies are working with brand building through events. The study also aims to examine and provide a deeper understanding of brands and events as phenomenon. Brands are often used by people to show belonging and economic status, not least in the fashion industry. The impact event has on brands has previously been studied in relation to sporting events, while research in the fashion industry is limited. This despite the fact that the events often occur in the fashion industry. Thereby this paper is written to provide more knowledge in this research gap. A study was conducted based on interviews with several fashion companies and brand experts in Sweden and the USA. The responses from the interviews were later analysed in relation to the chosen theories concerning both the events and brands. The theories that have been used are event marketing, brand value, organizational identity, consumer based brand equity and translation theory. The findings from the study are presented in a model with the key factors emerged as important for a successful event. To answer this paper’s question, the conclusion is presented that events can affect brand building, but how it is strengthen is difficult and resource-demanding to measure. By the end of this paper, the reader will have a greater knowledge and understanding of brands and events, as well as an overview of how these two phenomena are connected.

První kapitoly práce (teoretické) vysvětlují pojmy jako sportovní marketing, event marketing a partnerství ve sportu. Dále analyzují postoj lidí ke sportu a jejich životní styl. Diplomová práce samotná následně hodnotí dosavadní marketingové počínání společnosti Prague International Marathon, spol. s r.o. (PIM) a veškerou marketingovou orientaci zaměřenou na zákazníky ? běžce, diváky a partnery. Poukazuje, jaké nástroje společnost používá směrem k široké veřejnosti na území hlavního města, na celém území České republiky a za hranicemi státu. Dále charakterizuje komunikaci se stávajícími partnery, co jim partnerství s PIM přináší a jaké jsou jeho výhody, popř. úskalí, jaké jsou přednosti, popř. nedostatky v oblasti této komunikace. V neposlední řadě zkoumá kompletní povědomí o sportovních a kulturních akcích společnosti PIM a efektivnost použitých komunikačních nástrojů v porovnání s mediální odezvou na akce organizované PIM. Závěrem jsou uvedena marketingová doporučení diplomantky.

This thesis examines a relationship between specific marketing activities of the company Red Bull Czech Republic and their impact on consumers (change in brand perception, change in the purchase decision-making). Further more it examines general knowledge of brand communication activities implemented by Red Bull Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis describes terms such as marketing communication concepts and their forms, a brand, SWOT analysis, market segmentation. The second part identifies in detail company Red Bull and its communication activities. The third part described the competitive environment within the Czech market of energy drinks which was also a part of the following SWOT analysis. The basis of the last part of the thesis is analysis of author's own questionnaire research which was a basic source of data for the support of the paper's main objective.

Title: Proposal for improving the game day experience in the ELH based on the NHL Objectives: The main goal of the diploma thesis is to suggest the program arrangement of the game day for the visitors of the Czech hockey league. The thesis targets on new features appropriate for the Czech environment but also for the improvement of the current ones. Another goal of the thesis is to describe the attitude of the game day management teams to the accompanying program in ELH and NHL which represent the image of the league itself. Methods: The main sources for collecting the data are as the following: a structured observation and in-depth interviews. All of the information is collected based on the questions created for the purpose of the thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the literature sources and the consultations with experts in the field of the Czech and Canadian-American icehockey. Results: The main result of the diploma thesis is the suggestion for the improvement of the gameday program of the club HC Sparta Praha. The suggestion was prepared based on the analysis using the methods stated above. The suggestion includes elements usable in front of the arena before the game starts.
