Analýza pevnosti klikového ústrojí motoru W12 / Strength Analysis of V12 Cranktrain

Melounek, Michal January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis .deals with a crankshaft analysis of the VW 6,0 W12 engine. The first goal is to create a CAD model from the real part, then to create a FEM model for computer simulations. With respect to a dynamic character of the loading, the crankshaft is then reduced into a MNF file for the purpose of dynamic simulations in the MBS ADAMS/Engine. The full range of working RPMs is simulated in it. Beside the crankshaft the main and pin bearings are studied too. At the last part of this thesis the durability of the crankshaft is solved.

Gustafsson, Fanny January 2020 (has links)

Performance assessment and modeling of flexible optical networks / Modélisation et évaluation des performances des réseaux optiques flexibles

Amar, Djamel 12 April 2016 (has links)
With the exponential growth of traffic driven by video and Internet services, WDM systems evolve regularly to increase optical fiber capacity. To meet the relentless need for capacity, advanced features have been integrated into optical layer leading to the notion of channel flexibility (datarate elasticity, flex-grid). In contrast, with the potential benefits that optical channel flexibility provides, network dimensioning gets even more complicated, and traditional dimensioning tools should be rethought. Moreover, some strategic and technological problems appear with optical layer flexibility. Almost, all legacy equipment in the optical layer needs to be replaced by greenfield and well-adapted equipment, which requires new investments. Furthermore, spectrum fragmentation has been identified as the main disadvantage of optical layer flexibility. This work proposes and implements different mathematical multilayer tools for network dimensioning with the aim of evaluating optical layer flexibility. It identifies profitable and advantageous use cases and networking scenarios that bring forward the interest of flex-grid and elasticity. This work also deals with the potential troubles of flexibility and provides solutions to them. Specifically, we thoroughly investigate spectrum fragmentation in operator network context, and propose some traffic engineering strategies. We propose and evaluate a new use case that combines datarate elasticity and optical restoration within a multilayer context. Finally, we state a new drawback of flex-grid technology regarding the use of legacy optical amplifiers with flex-grid networks and provide a solution to overcome this problem

Human-Robot Interaction : An Arm Gesture-Based Approach

Venturi, Sai Siri Sree, Bojja, Poorna Teja January 2023 (has links)
Industrial robotic arms have transformed the manufacturing environment by providing efficient and precise automation solutions. These sophisticated machines, powered by innovative technology, are capable of performing difficult tasks with speed and accuracy. The project described here is related to industrial robotics because it focuses on the creation of a gesture-controlled robotic arm. This project aims to build a robotic arm that can be controlled by gestures utilising MPU6050 sensors and flex sensors. By interpreting gestures acquired by strategically placed sensors, the robotic arm is designed to emulate human arm movements. The MPU6050 sensors are placed on the hand, near the elbow, and near the shoulder, allowing the system to capture the arm’s orientation and movement in real time. The gripper mechanism of the robotic arm is controlled by a flex sensor on the index finger. The central control unit is the Arduino UNO Rev3 SMD microcontroller, which is in charge of analyzing sensor input and translating it into matching robotic arm movements. The suggested system intends to provide a user-friendly and intuitive method for robotic arm control, with possible applications in a variety of domains such as industrial automation, medical support, and prosthetics.

Psykiskt välmående i flexibla arbetsarrangemang

Theander, Malin, Boza, Daniela January 2021 (has links)
The occurrence of teleworking has increased, not least in connection with various national recommendations during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study has examined whether perceived stress and general health differ between workers who work in varying degrees of telework. The impact of work environment factors, such as demands and social support has also been investigated. A combination of working remotely and in the workplace is defined by this study as flexible work. The data collection was performed using a quantitative method, a survey was used to collect data. The sample consisted of 152 respondents, aged 20-67, 104 women and 48 men. The collected data were analyzed in SPSS using variance analysis ANOVA, post-hoc analysis and correlation analysis. The results showed no statistically significant difference in general health and degree of telework when comparing the different sample groups, however, there were tendencies that those who telework one to two days a week, experience better general health. Furthermore, the results showed a statistically significant group difference, those who telework one to two days a week, experience higher social support from managers, compared with those who telework three to five days a week. The conclusion can be drawn that workers who telework at an average of one to two days a week, appear to have the highest social support.

No. of bitstreams: 1 GustavoAC_TESE.pdf: 3178455 bytes, checksum: bdea1ce583a318f3a35fb4f3221877a8 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-04-28 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / The use of flexible materials for the development of planar circuits is one of the most desired and studied characteristics, lately, by researchers. This happens because the flexibility of the substrate can provide previously impracticable applications, due to the rigidity of the substrates normally used that makes it difficult to fit into the circuits in irregular surfaces. The constant interest in recent years for more lighter devices, increasingly more compacts, flexible and with low cost, led to a new line of research of great interest from both academic and technological views, that is the study and development of textile substrates that can be applied in the development of planar circuits, for applications in the areas of security, biomedical and telecommunications. This paper proposes the development of planar circuits, such as antennas , frequency selective surfaces (FSS) and planar filters, using textile (cotton ticking, jeans and brim santista) as the dielectric substrate and the Pure Copper Polyester Taffeta Fabric, a textile of pure copper, highly conductive, lightweight and flexible, commercially sold as a conductive material. The electrical characteristics of textiles (electric permittivity and loss tangent) were characterized using the transmission line method (rectangular waveguide) and compared with those found in the literature. The structures were analyzed using commercial software Ansoft Designer and Ansoft HFSS, both from the company Ansys and for comparison we used the Iterative Method of Waves (WCIP). For the purpose of validation were built and measured several prototypes of antennas, planar filters and FSS, being possible to confirm an excellent agreement between simulated and measured results / A utiliza??o de materiais flex?veis para o desenvolvimento de circuitos planares ? uma das caracter?sticas mais desejadas e estudadas, ultimamente, pelos pesquisadores, pois essa maleabilidade do substrato proporciona aplica??es antes imposs?veis, devido ? rigidez dos substratos normalmente utilizados o que dificultava a adequa??o dos circuitos em superf?cies irregulares.
