La escultura de Cristina Iglesias. Dar cuerpo a lo imaginario

Hidalgo García, Miguel Ángel 13 January 2009 (has links)
The present doctoral thesis is organized in two parts: 1) a formal study o her sculptures 2) the conception of Cristina Iglesias about the artistics. Her training like a sculptor was between the recovery of space and the image by the New English Sculpture and the interest Centro European by an architectural sculpture that is "poetic space".Cristina Iglesias researches on until where we can employ the materials. Regarding the forms, she has put on during her career screen- walls that build space. If there is a general meaning to all pieces is the idea to imagine that the place that look or receive us, is real.First see, afterwards imagine. Her sculptures are real spaces and representations to the same time. Iglesias´s sculpture is a "space of perceptions", symbolic representations of threat, shelter, fear, wish, oppressions, disorientation. Like being in a labyrinth

KOŤAROVÁ, Martina January 2009 (has links)
The diploma thesis is treated as an user manual for a special graphical editor LogoMotion, which is part of Imagine programming environment used to teach computer science at primary school and which allows you to create or edit images and animations for the shape of the programming robot, so called turtle. Part of the manual is also working with the shape of this turtle, which consists of commands of Logo language. It also includes a description of several ways in which the images in the shape of turtle can be changed - for example, the shape acquisition of other turtles. The manual is intended for teachers who want to work with pupils using graphics to diversify the teaching of programming. It contains a lot of demonstrating and interesting tasks that help pupils to fully penetrate into the different areas of this topic.

The Reorientation of Borders in the EU: Case studies Sweden, Germany, and France

Ako, Joshua Ndip January 2021 (has links)
The paradox of contemporary migration in the EU is that new actors, rules, and institutions have emerged and created internal spaces where there is a gradual reorientation of the character of EU border regime. These spaces have become arenas where EU member states are re-categorizing, re-scaling, expanding, and diversifying their modes of internal migration control and enforcement. To overcome this paradox, this research seeks to explore migration policies in Sweden, Germany, and France to demonstrate that the narratives about EU common border policy is complex, uncertain, polarising, and conflicting. This paper argues that the emergence of the EU common border regime with a multiplicity of actors have created everyday bordering as a rebordering mechanism of control that threatens the idea of a common EU border, especially at the level of nation states. My theoretical approach is based on ‘everyday bordering and the politics of beloninging’. And I applied an interpretative approach in the analysis of official policy documents, academic articles, media reports, advocacy papers, NGO documents, and political speeches.

The Imaginations of Readers on Travel Narratives and Pictures

Chu, Szu Ching Unknown Date (has links)
Many readers access to foreign place by reading travel narratives and pictures. While reading travel narratives, many imaginations and affection come out from their mind. This study aims to explore the imagination of reader on travel narratives and pictures. If there is any element in narratives and pictures can arouse reader’s imagination, and what those elements are. The study shows that when reader found something is unfamiliar with, people’s conversation and story, and the history can arose imaginations. The descriptions, adjectives, life story and experience in narratives do help to arose imagination. In addition, foreign characters also make readers think further. However, pictures in travel narratives limit the imaginations, it makes readers stop imagining. Most of imaginations are about the space, fix objective forms, affection, life story, experience, and visual association. Less do people think of time, causality, contrast, making new image, hearing association and olfactory association.

Tvorba digitálního modelu terénu pro povodí Jenínského toku a analýza drah soustředěného odtoku vod. / Cration of digital terrain model for the Jeninsky stream catchment and analysis of valley lines.

JURÁNEK, Stanislav January 2008 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is localization and interpretation of paths of concentration runoff in digital terrain model. Digital terrain model(DTM) is processed for the catchment of the Jenín stream, where The Faculty of Agriculture has held the research since the year 2004. For creation of DTM following software programs were used for comparison: Erdas and ArcGIS. Digitalized maps of contour lines for this catchment were the backgrounds for creation of the DTM. Localization of paths of concentration runoff and natural thalwegs was made on created DTM. Then was the comparison of models and the real topography of the catchment realized. Possible reasons of differences were discussed in discussion. Different (in colours and resolution) variations of DTM with localized paths of concentration runoff are the result, with the view of better legibility and more truly representation of real topography of the landscape.

Analýza práce žáků s programem "Obkreslovačka" / The Analysis of the pupils' work with the program "Obkreslovačka"

VÍTKOVÁ, Tereza January 2010 (has links)
The main goal of this work is to chart interaction of children with the {\clqq}Obkreslovačka`` game. I primarily focus on various strategies for solving exercises where pupils are supposed to encircle certain shapes. I propose and describe three different strategies and evaluate their existence. Part of this work is a statistic compilation of pupil´s success rates while solving exercises from individual sets as well as the statistics of success of each set. I examine the way how children work with this program {--} what problems do they have, what is easy for them and which exercises cause them the biggest problems. I focus on the differences between boys and girls while using concrete strategies and the differences while solving exercises. I am evaluating the suitability of the ``Obkreslovačka{\crqq} game for pupils and recommending this game to a specific age group. Part of my work is based on theoretical knowledge and supplemental data, part is based on my own practical experiences. practicalexperiences.

Sensibilidade e especificidade dos métodos de diagnóstico por imagem (ultrassonografia, ressonância magnética e tomografia computadorizada) na detecção de nódulos hepáticos no cirrótico com correlação histológica do explante / Sensitivity and specificity of imaging diagnostic methods (ultrasonography, magnetic resonanceand computed tomography) in the detection of liver nodules in cirrhotic patients, with histological correlation of the explanted liver

Carmen Silvia Cerqueira do Val Fausto 13 December 2011 (has links)
CONCLUSÃO: Os métodos diagnósticos por imagem avaliados apresentaram sensibilidade e especificidade semelhantes para detecção de nódulos no fígado cirrótico / INTRODUCTION: Imaging diagnostic methods undergo constant and fast technological development, which has led to the improvement in the detection of hepatocellular carcinoma nodules in cirrhotic patients. OBJECTIVE: To prospectively compare the sensitivity and specificity of different imaging diagnostic methods in the detection of liver nodules in cirrhotic patients with the explanted liver. METHODS: Twenty patients awaiting liver transplant were assessed by ultrasonography (by two independent examiners: US1 and US2), magnetic resonance (MR) and multislice computed tomography (CT). The results were compared to the explanted livers to evaluate location and diameter of the nodules, which were classified as regenerative macronodule, dysplastic nodule, hepatocellular carcinoma, hemangioma and hepatocholangiocarcinoma. Sensitivity and Specificity were calculated through 2 x 2 Tables with Bayes Theorem. The level of significance was set at 5% ( = 0.05). RESULTS: The anatomopathological assessment classified 50 nodules: 27 (54%) as macroregenerative, 12 (24%) as hepatocellular carcinoma, 9 (18%) as dysplastic nodules, 1 (2%) as hemangioma and 1 (2%) as hepatocholangiocarcinoma. Sensitivity and specificity for general nodule detection were 20% (10/50) and 95% for US1, 18% (9/50) and 98% for US2, 24% (12/50) and 96% for MR and 18%(09/50) and 96% for CT, respectively. Sensitivity and specificity for hepatocellular carcinoma detection was 42% (5/12) and 87% for US1; 42% (5/12) and 89% for US2; 58% (7/12) and 87% for MR and 50% (6/12) and 92% for CT, respectively. CONCLUSION: The imaging diagnostic methods evaluated in the study showed similar sensitivity and specificity for nodule detection in the cirrhotic liver
