Previous issue date: 2017-04-05 / Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPq / Study about the Quilombola community of Caçandoca, in Ubatuba, and its organizing process as well as the resident’s production of community communication actions. The research aims to verify the communicational process among the members in the community considering the historical background, cultural, the memory, the identity background and also the traditions and the conflicts that interfere with interaction among the members of Caçandoca. From the methodological point of view, it’s an investigational work uses both bibliographical and documentary research as a starting point to the structure of the theoretical research and documentary analysis. A field research was also developed with “observant participation” that allowed us to come closer to the subject of analysis and provided entanglement with the Quilombolas. The open interviews half structured with the residents and leaderships permitted us to understand the elements that build the community’s communicational process. About the observant participation, besides regular visits and participation in the group’s meetings we proposed gatherings to discuss the possible formation of a Local Communicational Committee to develop future community communicational actions. The results showed that the residents of Caçandoca go through several obstacles about the real state speculation and the invasions of possessions, but they’re in a different phase of structuring the politics organization, cultural and identity. The community communication better structured can represent a way to practice citizenship and the enlargement of the political and critical awareness by the improvement of the spread of information from all the Quilombola’s interests.

Previous issue date: 2013-10-09 / This study intends to analyze how call center companies dialogue with their public,
considering, within that universe, customers. Workers in this business sector have to
follow a script to talk to customers over the phone, one of the aspects that determine,
rather than communication, incommunication. In the conception of Norval Baitello
Junior, the script is considered an image. It is observed that, by using it, the call
center operator connects to the consumer over the phone, but there is no creation of
bonds between them. The company, aiming profit, tries to minimally comply with what
the legislation of the sector requires and provides a working environment that impairs
fluid and natural communication. This dynamics is analyzed through the concept of
work as life, of Dietmar Kamper; by the studies of psychopathology of work, of
Christophe Dejours; from the notion of surveillance in Michel Foucault; and by the
research of Norval Baitello Junior on how the fact of remaining seated most of the
time affects the human body and mind. It was found that many workers suffer, both
physically and psychologically, with the constant repetition of the script, and some of
them feel unmotivated and incapable of communicating normally in their lives outside
of work. It is a cut that is part of the set of today s world dynamics, analyzed by the
Theory of the Media, conceived by Harry Pross and Vilém Flusser. The lack of
creation of bonds between close people, the accelerated society in cities lacking time
and space for all, companies that ratify this way of life, caring less about people and
more about profit, are factors that contribute to the condition of incommunicability in
society in general and, according to the evaluation of this study, between workers
comunicação, a incomunicação.
tempo afeta o corpo e a mente do homem.

Exile in communication : The case of authors from East Central Europe who choose to write in French (1939 – present)Boursier, Axel 11 December 2017 (has links)
The link we make between exile and communication is not a classic one. In fact, an exile is someone who leaves his country and changes his language and culture. He is also someone who tries to reach a new culture and society. By considering the literature of writers from East and Central Europe, who choose to write their books directly in French, our thesis seeks to understand the way how an exile can generate new relationships in this space. We focus on the literary discourses and the notion of the author, as Foucault spoke about them, in order to understand how an author uses the narration of his own life to configure a face-speech acceptable to his host community. By using the difference between this face in a pre-discursive manner marked by the contract between the testimony and the authors’ will to be perceived as artists, we try to focus on the way those voices show their inclusion in the French literary world. We show that the exiles’ discourses must deal with the possibility of lack of communication due to inaudibility cause by semantic mistakes. We think that the configuration of exile is a way to present oneself as a « hero of freedom. » Authors manage the opposition between singularity and the necessity to find a new community in order to communicate. Moreover, we also consider the possibility of refusing the first contract of communication and we include the concept of « non-lieu » created by Marc Augé, a concept which refers to a space with no link to the community. Confronts with this threat, we consider that an author may manage this risk by a process of reverence-inclusion. According to this process, writers give their own description of French social markers to indicate to the public that they belong to the French culture. Those descriptions allow them to give to the French audience the rule of interpretation for their own books. Finally, we examine the possibility of speaking about this literature as an assimilated one. We show that this literature is not fully integrated because of the complex social integration of those authors. This difficulty of integration forces them to redefine their position in French society. As a result of their Soviet education, authors try to show a disturbing strangeness not as a marker of an outsider, but as an indication of their social place in French society. This past is made a tool for understanding French modernity. This specificity directs us to consider those writers, particularly their views on communication, identity, Europe and cosmopolitanism. Our thesis focuses on the problem of communication and tries to increase our knowledge of intercultural relations in Europe. By focusing on a large literary corpus, our thesis endeavours to understand this complex phenomena of European exiles. Finally, our thesis integrates the problem of non-communication as a conceptual center of interrogations in order to show that if communication is not an innate capacity, it can be developed into something beyond a tool for spreading a message, namely a concept to think.
