Inovace informačního systému v energetice / IT Innovations in the energy sector

This thesis focuses on innovation of ICT in the energetics sector, particularly in the heating sector. This topic is discussed in terms of both theory and practice. The main goal of this thesis is to show by the example of specific ICT innovations how to properly prepare them. The theoretical part deals with the comparison academic approaches and the approach of the leading Czech supplier of software solutions. It compares the principle of multidimensionality of MMDIS method and methods of Unicorn ES Powered Company. It also discusses in terms of frequency of academic thesis neglected electricity sector, where it focuses on explaining the specifics of this sector using the experience of the author with projects in the Czech and European energetics. It contains a classification of innovation in the industry, market research of ICT products for energetics and SWOT analysis of heat generation sector. The practical part of the thesis focuses on ICT innovation at C -Energy Bohemia. It contains tender documents for this innovation, and based on that is elaborated a methodological approach for evaluation of the benefits of this innovation for the company. Subsequently there is elaborated a proposal for this innovation covering all dimensions of ICT by MMDIS. The main contribution of this work is thus primarily a comparison of academic approaches with the approaches used in practice , the analysis of the current situation of ICT in less well-known electricity industry and the practical application of academic gained from the study of the real demand for ICT innovation.

TV digital regional : a transição de modelos tecnológicos e seus aspectos regulatórios e de inovação

A televisão regional se encontra num momento crucial em sua história, desafiada enquanto meio de comunicação de massa a adotar novo padrão tecnológico e imprimir profundas mudanças em sua cadeia produtiva, migrando do padrão analógico para um novo padrão digital, de alta definição, capaz de interagir e de permitir a portabilidade de seus conteúdos. O objetivo central da pesquisa é analisar o período de transição dos modelos de transmissão analógica para digital de TV aberta no âmbito da televisão regional. Trata-se, portanto, de uma abordagem sob a ótica da regulação do setor e da gestão da inovação, a partir dos conceitos que norteiam os processos de transição tecnológica. Como foco regional, a pesquisa buscou esclarecer como as emissoras do Vale do Paraíba Paulista realizaram a gestão da inovação digital e cumpriram as exigências regulatórias para o setor no período de transição entre tais tecnologias. Quanto à metodologia aplicada, a pesquisa, de natureza descritiva e exploratória, teve o enfoque na adoção da pesquisa bibliográfica como fonte secundária; a seguir, foi conduzida por um método de documentação direta, através de levantamento de dados e da aplicação da técnica da pesquisa de campo, de modo a identificar a percepção das redes de televisão regional das condições de cada entidade para este período de mudanças. Como resultado, a partir da segmentação das emissoras em semi-locais e localmente comprometidas, evidenciou-se o impacto da TV digital terrestre como uma inovação radical e aberta, que trouxe como consequência a necessidade de mudanças internas nas corporações, a adequação de suas realidades e de seu corpo técnico, a participação das universidades e centros de pesquisa no processo de transição e, também, a necessidade de cumprir as exigências regulatórias do setor sem comprometer economicamente as emissoras neste período. E, por fim, a percepção homogênea das emissoras centrou-se na percepção dos usuários e destinatários finais como fator central para o sucesso da implantação da TV digital aberta no Brasil. / The regional TV is at a crucial moment in its history.It is being challenged as a mean of mass communication to adopt a new technological pattern and impose deep changes in its productive chain, flocking from the analogic pattern to a new high-definition digital one, which is capable of interacting and allowing the portability of its contents. The main goal of this research is to analyse the transition period from the analogical transmission models to the digital broadcast TV in the framework of the regional TV. It therefore constitutes an approach under the vision of the sector regulation and management of innovation, which goes from the concepts that surround the technological transition. As a regional focus, this research aims to clarify how the broadcasters from Vale do Paraíba carry out their digital innovation management and fulfill its sector regulatory requirements during the transition period between such technologies. Thus, it is important to analyse the Brazilian State role on the determination of industrial policies innovation (IP) and foster the implementation period of the Brazilian System of Terrestrial Digital TV (SBTVD-T). Regarding the applied methodology, the research was developed from a deductive method, that is descriptive and exploratory in nature,focussing on the adoption of a bibliographical research as a secondary source and then, conducted by a direct documentation method, through the data collection and the field research technique, as so to identify the perception of the regional wired TV networks and its general conditions for each entity throughout this period of changes. With the adoption of interviews and treatment of qualitative data, the adapting conditions of these regional TV broadcasters into those technological changes were discussed, in order to meet the regulatory demands as well as dispose the innovative advances in the sector.

This master's thesis addresses TED, the global phenomenon dedicated to spreading revolutionary ideas worldwide. The aim of this thesis is to find and show correlations between interesting ideas from TED talks - under the tags 'education' and 'teaching', and their potential implementations among the Czech society. Through monographic method I investigate the most significant attributes/trends of the current crisis of the educational systems worldwide and their impact on a teacher - their role as a whole and the perception and acceptance of the goals of their work. These issues are addressed in a discourse about the changes in educational systems in 21st century worldwide and in the Czech Republic. It also explores the interconnections between problems in education and the state of society, its values and philosophical superstructures. One of the sections shows reader a compilation of categorize analyses of individual talks from TED based on their topic and content. The final part revolves around the most common topics from the talks that have direct connection to the current state of the Czech educational system which have been identified through educational research. Third part demonstrates TIPS methodology on the innovation of wind power plant supported by software Goldfire Inovator. The fourth part evaluates advantages and contributions of TIPS methodology for education and practice.

Development of creative skills of managers This graduation thesis deals with the creativity of managers as an essential condition to increase the productivity of a business. The first part of my thesis looks at the concept of creativity, including the concept of creativity as a process and complex of abilities. Apart from the above-stated, it contains a description of a biological-psychosocial model of creativity. The first part concludes that creativity development is possible. The second part of my thesis focuses on the issues of manager creativity and its importance. Attention is paid to internal and external barriers of creativity which can be removed to some degree by using the training methods of a lecturer and individual techniques of a manager. The end of my thesis shows a list of basic conditions of creativity development in an organisation. This knowledge can be used by lecturers training adults, managers or HR staff members.

In this diploma work there are compared performances and the difficulty of gymnasts' routines (exercies) at the World level. In rhythmic gymnastics (RG) by monitoring and observation I am going to find out the reason, why the national team members the places in the fifth top ten gymnasts (athlets). In this work I am going to observe one of the best European gymnast A. Maksymenko of Ukraine, who regularly participates in the European, World Championships and in the Olympic Games, and the best Czech gymnast M. Míčková, the competitor without participation in the Olympic Games. Further I am going to observe one of the oldest Austrian gymnast, which is also the Olympic participant, but one of the last advancing, level is more similar exercises Czech gymnastics. By observing videos of gymnasts all around (exercise with hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon) according to the international rules of the RG, I am going to compare complexly the change of the rules which are valid in the contemporary olympic cycle and were valid in the previous rules of the last Olympic cycle. In this analyzes I am going to focus on the routines as a whole, from the perspective of the technical elements (difficulties), dynamic rotating elements with rotations under the apparatus (DER, "risc"), mastery handling, innovative handling...

The theoretical background and some authors that support this study is: 1. The culture, identity and the postmodernity (HALL, 2000; BAUMAN, 2012; DUBAR, 2006; VEIGA-NETO, 2003)); 2. The culture of the learning (POZO, 2006; 2009); 3. Inovation (MASETTO, 2012; LUCARELLI, 2007; 2009; CUNHA, 2009); 4. Problems Based Learning (ARA?JO, 2009; BERBEL, 2011; ANGELO et al., 2014); 5. Autonomy (RU?, 2007); 6. Learning Estrategies (MONEREO, 2001; BORUCHOVITCH, 2006). To reach the possible answers, we realize a mixed research, using a sequential explanatory strategy (CRESWELL, 2010), wherein the influence of research reveals to be bigger in application of a quantitative instrument in which, later, receive support to construction of the datas of a qualitative instrument. In this way, we applied the Escala de Avalia??o de Estrat?gias de Aprendizagem em Universit?rios (EEA-U) - Evaluation Scale of Learning Strategies in Universitary Students -, from Santos e Boruchovitch (2015), and following we developer a Grupo de Discuss?o Operativo (GDO) ? Operational Discussion Group -, based on researches from Silva e Almeida (2015). As subject, 137 students took part on first phase, the EEA-U, on the second phase, the GDO, we have paticipation of 8 students. The data analisys was made starting from categories suggested by the EEA-U instrument, associated with the reports obtained in the GDO. The students reports to have difficulties to adapt therselfs in university envoironment and have been change the way of studing because of PBL. We realize too that they use superficials learning strategies (possibly acquired since basic education), that can?t organize ther studing time, and that they distract easily during their studing. We identified that the autonomy had a low development along the years, so that there?s no significant difference on use of learning strategies in different semesters. The women ponctuation was higher than the men ponctuation on the three autoregulation factores of the scale, but other investigation need be realized to confirm that. On GDO, the students also report the problems that they experience with the PBL format. This research aims to collaborate with studies about university students and how we can promote their learning in that environment, as well in the improvements and incentives of the active methodologies on the researched university and, finally, on increasing of the related researches about the theme in our region. / O presente texto contempla uma pesquisa de mestrado realizada no Programa de P?s-Gradua??o Mestrado em Educa??o da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS) e objetiva Compreender atrav?s da identifica??o das estrat?gias de aprendizagem, se o modelo de Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas (PBL) da Engenharia de Computa??o (ECOMP)- UEFS contribui para a autonomia de seus estudantes. Dessa forma, realizamos juntamente com os estudantes de EComp de uma universidade p?blica de Feira de Santana a aplica??o da Escala de Avalia??o de Estrat?gias de Aprendizagem em Universit?rios (EEA-U), de Santos e Boruchovitch (2015), e em seguida, desenvolvemos um Grupo de Discuss?o Operativo (GDO), inspirado nos estudos de Silva e Almeida (2015). Como sujeitos, participaram 137 estudantes na primeira fase, a EEA-U e, para a segunda fase, o GDO, contamos com 8 estudantes. A an?lise dos dados foi realizada a partir das categorias propostas pelo pr?prio instrumento da EEA-U, em sincronia com os relatos obtidos no GDO. Os estudantes expuseram dificuldades para a adapta??o na universidade e mudan?as nas suas maneiras de estudar por conta do PBL. Percebemos tamb?m que eles apresentam estrat?gias de aprendizagem superficiais (possivelmente adiquiridas desde a Educa??o B?sica), que n?o conseguem administrar bem o seu tempo de estudo e que se distraem com facilidade durante os mesmos. A autonomia pode ser identificada com pouco desenvolvimento no passar dos anos, n?o havendo uma diferen?a significativa de uso de estrat?gias nos diferentes semestres. A pontua??o das mulheres nos tr?s fatores de autorregula??o da escala se apresentaram superiores a dos homens, por?m novas investiga??es carecem ser realizadas. No GDO, os estudantes ainda declararam os problemas encontrados no formato PBL que vivenciam. Este trabalho visa colaborar com o olhar sobre o universit?rio e como podemos favorecer para o seu aprendizado nesse espa?o, bem como nas melhorias e incentivo das metodologias ativas da universidade estudada e, por fim, no fomento de pesquisas sobre o assunto em nossa regi?o.

Embora seja uma nova mídia, possui seu alicerce firmado junto às origens da civilização humana, tendo sofrido transformações morfológicas, técnicas e simbólicas até se estruturar no texto das telas eletrônicas. Representante de uma das maiores mudanças do mercado editorial, o livro digital é capaz de promover novas práticas e novos significados de leitura. Essa relação do suporte eletrônico com as práticas de leitura no contexto das editoras mostrou-se como um foco de pesquisa promissor para a investigação no design, que sempre acompanhou as transformações do livro ao longo da história. Entende-se que a presença do livro digital cria novas relações entre leitores, editores e autores, e, assim, a demanda pela inovação exige do design uma abordagem estratégica. O objetivo deste trabalho é a definição de diretrizes projetuais de sistemas produto-serviço para o livro digital, visando o reposicionamento das editoras no mercado sob a perspectiva do design estratégico. Para chegar a tais resultados, este estudo investiga e classifica as práticas dos leitores em diferentes plataformas eletrônicas, utilizando-se da técnica de diários de leitura. Também investiga as estratégias para o livro digital vigentes no mercado, através de entrevistas com a editora Companhia das Letras. Ainda propõe a estruturação de cenários de inovação para o livro digital por meio de um workshop colaborativo. Os cenários projetados consideram um futuro predominantemente digital, no qual os livros promovem diferentes experiências de leitura. Com as análises das informações, os principais resultados compreendidos são expressos na forma de diretrizes de projeto, que apontam para uma maior simplificação e flexibilização das configurações de apresentação dos livros em múltiplas plataformas, para a mudança das narrativas com foco principal nos hiperlinks, para o acesso da tecnologia aos cinco sentidos humanos e para a transformação da leitura em uma atividade social e colaborativa. / It is observed, in the context of an on-line society, the incipience of the digital book, made possible by technological advances that shaped the contemporary material culture. Although this is considered a new media, it has its roots deep on the origins of the human civilization, going through technical, symbolic and morphologic changes until it was structured into text on electronic screens. A representative of one of the biggest changes in the editorial market, the digital book is capable of promoting new practices and new meanings to reading. The relation between the electronic devices with the reading practices in the context of publishing houses has shown itself a promising investigative research focus in design, which has always followed the transformations in books throughout history. It is understood that the presence of the digital book creates new relationships between readers, publishing houses, and authors, thus the demand for innovation requires a strategic approach from design. The goal of this research is the setting up of project guidelines for product-service systems to the digital book media, aiming at the repositioning of publishing companies in the market under the perspective of strategic design. To get to such results, this study investigates and classifies the reader’s practices in different electronic platforms, using the reading diaries technique. This study also investigates the digital book strategies already used by publishing companies, through a couple of interviews with the publishing company Companhia das Letras. Finally, this study offers a glimpse of innovative scenarios for the digital book through a collaborative workshop. The projected scenarios analyze a predominantly digital future, in which books are going to promote different reading experiences. Through the analysis of the information, the main result were expressed in the structure of project guidelines, which point to simpler and more flexible sets of appearance of digital books in multiple platforms, changing from narratives with focus in hyperlink to one with access of technology to the five human senses and to the transformation of reading into a social and collaborative activity.

A formação científica do jovem universitário: um estudo com base no Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC)

In this study, it was stablished an historical analysis about the progress of science in Brazil and its relation with the State s economical and social development demand. It was also sought to understand how the formation of qualified personnel, with critical and creative capacity, in view to the intellectual autonomy, has became relevant to the educational, scientifical and technological government policies in a national context. Beyond the retrospect of the PIBIC s institutionalization, it was also developed a statistical analysis of an historical sequence of the program and its developments about: the regional distribution, the number of scolarships by institution, the amount of the scolarships, the capacity of orientation, the profile of the scolarship s students, the coverage of knowlage areas, the relation of the program with the post-graduation, and the legal nature of the program s institutions. The main source of this analysis was: a) PIBIC s indicators, between 1988 and 2010; b) the institutional evaluation of the program made by a group of researchers coordinated by Luiz Antônio Marcuschi, in 1996 and c) the research made in 1999, with CNPq s support and interest, about PIBIC and its relations with the scientifical formation, coordinated by Virgílio Alvarez Aragón e Jacques Rocha Velloso. The theorical reference adopted to underlie the discussion about the formation, emancipation, standardization, and about science and technology and its relations with the scientifical formation in administered society, is extracted from the critical theory of the society, specially Theodor Adorno, Max Horkheimer and Herbert Marcuse s analysis. It s been verified, at the end, that PIBIC, even considerating the need of future adjustments, presents relevant potential of contribution in the scientifical formation of the academic youth / A presente pesquisa tem por objeto a formação científica do jovem universitário, a partir de programas de iniciação científica fomentados pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq), com foco no Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC). Neste estudo, foi estabelecida uma análise histórica sobre o progresso da ciência no Brasil e a relação desta com as demandas de desenvolvimento econômico e social do Estado. Buscou-se ainda, compreender em que medida a formação de pessoal qualificado, com capacidade crítica e criativa, com vistas à aproximação da autonomia intelectual, tornou-se relevante para as políticas educacionais e as de ciência e tecnologia em âmbito federal. Desenvolveu-se, além de um retrospecto sobre a institucionalização do PIBIC, uma minuciosa análise estatística a partir de série histórica sobre o programa e seus desdobramentos, no que tange a: distribuição regional, quantidade de bolsas por instituição, valor das bolsas, capacidade de orientação, perfil do bolsista, abrangência das áreas de conhecimento, relação do programa com a pós-graduação e natureza jurídica das instituições participantes do programa. As principais fontes dessa análise foram: a) indicadores do PIBIC, entre os anos de 1988 e 2010; b) avaliação institucional do programa realizada por equipe de pesquisadores, sob coordenação de Luiz Antônio Marcuschi, no ano de 1996, e c) pesquisa realizada, em 1999, com apoio e de interesse do CNPq, sobre o PIBIC e sua relação com a formação de cientistas, coordenada pelos professores Virgílio Alvarez Aragón e Jacques Rocha Velloso.
