Shakespeare et la voix / Voice in Shakespeare's plays

Folest, Estelle 23 October 2009 (has links)
In Shakespeare’s plays, the voice is an agent of seduction and desire as well as a source of inspiration which animates the soul, moves the heart and arouses emotions. It has the power to civilize men and form harmonious bonds between them, but it may also be a weapon used to curse and kill. At theatres such as the Globe and the Blackfriars which were designed to produce the best acoustic conditions, the actor’s voice resounded and blended with a multiplicity of musical effects and noises to compose soundscapes that the audience was meant to hear and decipher.

Reading the exodus tradition from a Zimbabwean perspective

Rugwiji, Temba 10 1900 (has links)
The exodus tradition was passed on for posterity among the Jewish descendants about God who delivered their ancestors from bondage in Egypt, who divided the Red Sea waters and provided them with manna in the desert. The exodus tradition motivated them in many problematic situations about "God of their fathers" who delivered them. The modern post-biblical world has drawn some motivation from the exodus liberation motif, namely: Latin America, USA, South Africa, Rhodesia and Zimbabwe, amongst others. The topic: Reading the Exodus Tradition from a Zimbabwean Perspective is necessitated by the Zimbabwean experience of oppression. The function of the exodus tradition during colonialism in Rhodesia is discussed because it forms the nucleus from which Zimbabwe was born. Recently, the Zimbabwean people have been subjected to unjust treatments by the Zimbabwean regime. The function of the exodus tradition in the Zimbabwean situation is explored in chapters five and six, respectively. / Biblical and Ancient studies / M.A. (Biblical Studies)

Drobná architektura v táborské krajině a její nové poslání / Small architecture in Tábor region and its new mission

JÍRŮ, Petra January 2009 (has links)
In this dissertation we seized less conspicuous attractions which are situated in the choice locations of Tábor landscape. We endeavoured to discover other possibilities of utilization of the chosen destination, despite our initial impression that the destination was fully used. The most important task of this thesis was to analyze natural, historical and natural interests of this region. After detailed research/analyzes/discussions we discovered that there are a lot of ``hidden{\crq}q attractions in the locality. These attractions deserve their renewal and more attention from their visitors. On the base of information were created suggestions and recommendations for development of this destination.

Kreativitet under stress : En studie i att vara kreativ på beställning / Creativity under Stress : A study about being creative on demand

Carlsson, Johan, Viking, Jakob January 2016 (has links)
A graphic designer must be able to create and produce regardless of conditions. The present study addresses what impact short and long deadlines have on this ability and how creativity can be encouraged in stressful situations. Semistructured interviews were conducted with eight Art and Creative directors in GävleDala region to examine how they felt about being creative under stressful conditions. The results showed that there is generally not a problem for the interviewees to be creative on demand, but they do not follow any specific methods to ease the workflow. It was also found that it was rather the workload and the amount of assignments that affect the stress factor rather than a specific time frame.

Klíčové vzpomínky studentů učitelství na primární školu / Key memories of teacher profession students for their primary school

Suchá, Michaela January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with the concept of teaching for students teaching in primary schools. Students who begin studying and are influenced by subjective experiences from the days when they were themselves pupils in primary school. Objective of this research is the context characterized by the testimony of students. Determine whether they have a tendency to imitating patterns from elementary school, or avoid mistakes that they saw in them. The theoretical part is intertwined with the research. Testimonies of students are supplemented by findings from the literature. One section is devoted to defining the long-term memory and one part belongs to two terms. Stress and evaluation, they often repeat, thus have increased influence on memories. Thesis also describes how the student teacher is ready for the beginning of his career and with it related requirements, which must be fulfilled for graduation. In the second part, the focus shifts to the teaching styles of teachers and recommendation, which the teacher should follow. Research together with the support of the literature shows that teacher has a great influence on pupils.

Design, modeling and control of inherently compliant actuators with a special consideration on agonist-anthropomorphic configuration / Conception, modélisation et contrôle d'actionneurs intrinsèquement conformes avec une considération spéciale sur la configuration anthropomorphe agoniste-antagoniste

Hari shankar lal das, Ganesh kumar 22 December 2016 (has links)
Design, modeling and control of inherently compliant actuators with a special consideration on agonist- antagonist anthropomorphic configuration" The research aims at the design, modeling and control of inherently compliant actuators for anthropomorphic systems. The first part of the work focuses on the study of various existing designs and look for the possibility of alternative actuators other than the conventional electric motors. Special attention is given to elctroactive polymer based soft actuators which have good potential in future robotic applications. In parallel, a model of the actuator dynamics and the model-based controller (MPC and optimal control) have been synthesized for an anthropomorphic 7 Dofs arm actuated by antagonist-agonist pair of Pneumatic Artificial Muscles (PAMs) at each joint. Such model and controller is then integrated within the software environment developed by the team. Using the PAMs based anthropomorphic manipulator arm and the numerical simulator, tests are done in order to evaluate the potential of this actuator and compare with the human body capabilities.

Industriální krajina. Možnost tématu v umění a výtvarné výchově / Industrial landscape. The possibility of theme in art and in art education

Kuchynková, Monika January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with industrial landscape in the visual arts in terms of educational, historical and theoretical viewpoints. In the theoretical part, the author deals with the interpretation of various terms that are related to this industrial issue. At the same time she outlines the development of the industrial landscape, exploration of relationships and attitudes, mostly among the younger generation, to these complexes, and deals with this issue from the aspect of art, such as suggestions or industrial materials. Very interesting and more recent phenomenon is the activity called Urbex, whose interpretation, the world and Czech leaders and its development is briefly explained. Concurrently, this activity is supplemented by visual arts, by the theme of industrial buildings, by industrial material, by memories, by feelings and relation to this landscape of the author of the thesis. In the didactic part, which is crucial to this diploma thesis, the author has developed five preparations for units of teaching in art lessons, where she focused both the use of industrial materials and this theme . Her aim was to acquaint students with these issues and possibilities of working with these materials. Four preparations, which were taught in elementary school in Vodickova, Prague 1, were fine...

Setkávání se seniory jako příležitost pro učení žáků mladšího školního věku / Meetings with seniors as an opportunity to teach younger pupils

Kudrnáčová, Nikola January 2019 (has links)
This Master Thesis deals with the problematics of meeting younger pupils with seniors. The theoretical part of this thesis is generally about intergenerational learning, as well about intergenerational learning in different environments and other connections. I am looking for an answer to the question of whether it is attractive for teachers organize meetings of pupils with seniors in their teaching, under what conditions they do so, what prevents teachers from organizing intergenerational learning if they do not. It also deals with the current changes in families and the importance of intergenerational meetings. Practical part of the thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is pre-research, based on that we learn topicality of the topic. The main goal of the thesis, which based on a questionnaire construction, is to know if teachers think that meeting of pupils and pensioners during classes is helpful for pupils. Partial goals are to find advantages and disadvantages of those meetings and possibile examples from practice. All the partial goals are accomplished. The last practical part is about action research. This research is based on two meetings of pupils and pensioners. During this session pupils and seniors discussed, compared their lifes, their plans, dreams and exchanged advices...

Astro Tourism - A Possible Path to Sustainable Development through Narratives and Stories

Gerasimova, Darina January 2021 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the use of narratives and how they connect Astro tourism to sustainability. This research is done from the viewpoint of the narrators and uncovers what narratives they have chosen to present to the visitors, their reasons to include those narratives, what messages they want to convey and how that relates to sustainability. This research was conducted in order to explore how narratives can be used together with Astro tourism to sustainably develop peripheral regions. This thesis uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and inquests. The informants are people who conduct narrated Astro tourism tours in different parts of the world. The findings of this thesis are that in Astro tourism narratives can be used to educate, inspire, shape perceptions, raise awareness and develop environmental consciousness in people. The narratives can take part in the place, value and identity creation processes, can provide a sustainable competitive advantage, can link together the visual aspects and reconnect the visitors to nature and the past. These findings can be used in the broader field of science about narratives and storytelling in the experience-based industry. On a more practical side it is recommended to include narratives that communicate ideas about sustainability that the narrators personally feel passionate about, and they should consider what kind of message they want to convey through them and how that will affect the customer’s experience.
