Assim, objetivamos neste trabalho, entender o sentido da utilização do conceito de Deus para J. L. Moreno, discutindo quatro de seus escritos, além de revermos o conceito de Deus frente aos conceitos de espontaneidade, de criatividade e de momento. Para tanto, passamos pelo estudo das obras escritas por Moreno em 1920, 1923 e 1934, espectivamente, "As Palavras do Pai", "O Teatro da Espontaneidade" e ¨Quem sobreviverá?". Discutimos, então, Deus enquanto uma ideia fixa para Moreno, tendo enquanto parâmetro sua última obra autobiográfica editada originalmente em 1989. E concluímos com questionamentos acerta do lugar epistemológico da noção de Deus para a compreensão da teoria moreniana. / Abstract: This work is a theoretical and a epistemological study, which is focused on the meaning of God to Jacob Levy Moreno. Thus, this study aimed to understand the sense of the concept of God to J. L. Moreno, discussing four of his writings, and we review the concept of God in the face of the concepts of spontaneity, creativity and moment. To this end, we in the study of the Moreno's written in 1920, 1923 and 1934, respectively, "The Words of Father," "The Theatre of Spontaneity" and "Who Shall Survive? ". We discussed, then, the fixed idea of God and the this meaning for Moreno, with his last written as a parameter autobiographical work originally published in 1989. And we conclude with questions of the epistemological's place of the notion of God to the understanding of the Moreno's theory.

O estudo sobre a vida e o trabalho profissional dos professores que desenvolveram sua prática pedagógica no ano de 2005, no Colégio Estadual Jacob Arnt, município de Bom Retiro do sul/RS, aborda como os principais aspectos da vida e do trabalho profissional desse grupo de professores se desenvolveram no contexto municipal, estadual e nacional, de que forma estão relacionados com as políticas educacionais brasileiras e como ocorreu o desenvolvimento das contradições no trabalho profissional desses professores, especialmente aquelas que se relacionam à formação e desempenho profissional. Esse é um estudo de caso que é a análise de um fenômeno em profundidade e sua natureza é qualitativa, com uma abordagem com base teórica no materialismo histórico e dialético e na economia política. Os objetivos propostos nesse estudo se referem ao conhecimento dos principais aspectos da vida e do trabalho profissional dos professores que desenvolveram sua prática pedagógica no CEJA – BRS/RS, no ano de 2005, do desenvolvimento histórico desses aspectos, de sua relação com a legislação educacional e do desenvolvimento das contradições que se manifestam no trabalho profissional desses professores, especialmente aquelas relacionadas à formação e desempenho profissional; também está estabelecido, como segundo objetivo, trazer novos elementos para o debate sobre esse tema contribuindo para a melhoria de alguns aspectos da vida e do trabalho profissional dos professores. A hipótese principal que orientou o trabalho se refere ao condicionamento do trabalho profissional dos professores pela economia, considerando que o movimento histórico possibilita que na escola exista espaço onde outras formas de trabalho possam ser gestadas. O estudo permitiu perceber o professor comprometido com o ser humano, mas, através de um processo de trabalho, sobre o qual ele não tem controle e que é necessário à reprodução do modo de produção capitalista, e da legitimação no espaço da escola da cultura própria a esse processo, o professor coloca seu trabalho e seu conhecimento a serviço do capitalismo. Mas o trabalho do professor tem possibilidade de ser transformador, pois o movimento histórico do qual surge o condicionamento traz também possibilidades de transformação.

Assim, tanto a Denkmaeler der Tonkunst in Osterreich (Viena, Áustria 1903), a primeira edição com as obras do autor, quanto a mais recente e completa Neue Ausgabe sämtlicher Clavier- und Orgelwerke (Kassel, Alemanha 2003), foram comparadas. Os casos excepcionais, aquelas obras que não se adequaram ao parâmetro do sistema, foram extraídas e para elas, elaboramos uma tabela à parte (Tabela 2). Nela, encontramos uma obra que não se enquadra ao mesotônico padrão e para a qual elaboramos um estudo especial (Item 2.5.3), no final destacamos os problemas cruciais da enarmonia. Enarmonias nos instrumentos de afinação fixa não se referem ao temperamento mesotônico padrão com a divisão da coma em -1/4 S. Portanto, algum outro tipo de sistema de afinação foi provavelmente utilizado por Froberger, ainda que de maneira especulativa. Dessa forma, buscando compreender para qual tipo de afinação o compositor pensou as suas obras, centramos o nosso trabalho visualizando as possíveis contribuições proporcionadas aos sistemas de afinação e ao campo tonal da música erudita / Abstract: This work analyses the oeuvre of J. J. Froberger (1616-67) in order to show its adequacy, or eventual discrepancies, with the prevalent temperament in use in the 17th century. Therefore, a comparison was made between the Denkmaler der Tonkunst in Osterreich (Vienna, Austria 1903), the first available edition of Froberger's works, and the more recent and complete, Neue Ausgabe sämtlicher Clavier - und Orgelwerke (Kassel, Germany 2003). The exceptions, pieces which did not match the parameters of the tuning system, were put aside (a list of these pieces can be found on table 2). Among those, one work does not fit the standard meantone temperament, and for this a special analysis is provided (see item 2.5.3), pointing to crucial enharmonic problems at the end. Enharmonies, in instruments with fixed tuning, do not refer to standard meantone temperament, in which the division of the coma is ¿1/4 S. Consequently, it is probable that Froberger made use of other temperament, even if in a speculative way. Along our investigation to comprehend which temperament the composer has made use of when composing his works, we have also focused on his contributions to the field of tuning systems and tonal music / Doutorado / Doutor em Música

The subject treated in this thesis is the doctrine of the church among the English Calvinistic Baptists in the period, circa 1640-1660. This timeframe covers the significant phase of early Calvinistic Baptist emergence in society and literary output. The thesis seeks to explore the development of theological commitments regarding the nature of the church within the turbulent historical context of the time. The background to the emergence of the Calvinistic Baptists was the demise of the Anglican Church of England, the establishment by Act of Parliament of the Westminster Assembly of Divines, and the establishment of a Presbyterian Church of England. The English experiment with Presbyterianism began and ended in the years covered in this work. Ecclesiology was thus one of the most important doctrines under consideration in the phase of English history. This thesis is a contribution to understanding alternative forms of ecclesiology outside of the mainstream National Church settlement. It will be argued in this thesis that the emergence and development of Calvinistic Baptist ecclesiology was a natural development of one stream of Puritan theology of the church. This was the tradition associated with Robert Brown, and the English separatist movement dating from the 1570s. This tradition was refined and made experimental in the work of Henry Jacob. Having developed his ecclesiology in the Netherlands, in 1616 Jacob founded a congregation in Southwark, London from which Calvinistic Baptists would emerge with distinct baptismal convictions by 1638. Central to Jacob's ideology was the belief that a rightly ordered church acknowledged Christ as King over his people. The Christological priority of early Calvinistic Baptist ecclesiology will constitute the primary contribution of this thesis to investigation of dissenting theology in the period.

ABSTRACT Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka Jacob de Wets porträttserie av skotska kungar som återfinns i Palace of Holyroodhouse i Edinburgh, Skottland. Uppsatsen är tematiskt disponerad där de två första kapitlen behandlar porträttserier i det tidigmoderna Europa, historiska texter om nationens mytologiska ursprung och det samhälleliga läget under de skotska restorationsåren mellan 1660 och cirka 1689. Detta diskuteras sedan tillsammans med Jacob de Wets porträtt vad gäller syfte, funktion och sedermera praktisk tillkomst. Bildanalyser med hjälp av Roland Barthes teori om myten som ett metaspråk fördjupar diskussionen om hur serien ska läsas och förstås. Undersökningen finner att serien har flera syften och funktioner sprungna ur diskurser om nationalitet och makt, grundat i kulturella och konstnärliga praktiker samt historiska händelser gällande politik och religion. The thesis offers an interpretation of Paul's political thought and political theology in the context of current philosophy. The first part presents a methodological basis of the work: the concept of political theology is conceived as a methodological tool that enables us to concentrate on interrelations and mutual effects of religion and politics and to expose implicit or explicit political meanings and implications of religious ideas. The second methodological subchapter deals with Max Weber's approach to "economic ethics of world religions": Weber concentrates on historical crossroads and switches which are a result of random chain of coincidences and factors forming a specific relation to values (Wertbeziehung) which enables us to understand further historical development. Paul's missionary activity and theology is seen as such historical crossroad with far- reaching social consequences. Another part elaborately deals with the most important and influential interpretations of Paul in current non-Christian philosophy: Jacob Taubes, Alain Badiou, Giorgio Agamben. The attention is given not only to presentation of their interpretations but also to utilizations and interpretative gaps, which could be observed in the way these authors read and understand Paul. The chapters of this thesis focus on the history and stories of the people who built and traveled down the highways--Highway 89A, Highway 89, and Highway 67--that branch out from the junction in front of Jacob Lake Inn, the Bowman/Rich family's 87-year-old lodge. The family's role in building roads, supporting and encouraging the growing tourist industry in Kanab and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and the converging effects of these choices have created the unique family culture and contributed to the history of the Grand Canyon region over time. Ultimately this thesis is about relationships, about the connections, influences, and choices of individuals, businesses, and government organizations that have created the myriad levels of local and national memory and unique distinctions between the tourist industry on the North and South Rims of the Grand Canyon that have framed my family's lifestyle at the junction to the National Park and surrounding scenic areas.

From the ancient Greek theater, through the dawn of the Renaissance, beyond the development of Shakespearean theater, to the Broadway theater boon in the 1920s, sound reinforcement within the theater remained virtually unchanged. Through Broadway's Golden Age, directors and producers relied on architectural acoustics to carry sound throughout the theaters. This is not surprising given that most of the theaters were built in the early 1900s, before the invention of any electric sound reinforcement technology. Moreover, early attempts at amplification in the 1940s yielded dismal results. Eventually, the maturation of the integrated book musical and the invasion of the rock musical in the late 1960s demanded more than architectural acoustics alone could provide. Abe Jacob, the sound designer of Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar, led the efforts to create a modern approach to sound design. Relying on his rock-and-roll touring experience and the introduction of technological advancements within the recording industry, Jacob and others forged a modern approach to sound design specifically within the framework of the Broadway musical, which helped restore the fading industry of the Broadway musical in the late 1960s. These new approaches served well the human irony and concept musicals of the 1970s by Sondheim and other emerging composers. Sound design was critical to the successful mounting of the mega-musicals of the 1980s (Cats, Les Miserables, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, etc.). Now, modern day composers collaborate early in the creation process with sound designers and create original works with the power of modern sound design in mind, such that today, sound design is a fundamental design discipline employed in every Broadway musical–from the initial show concept conversations all the way through opening night.
