Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral, sob a perspectiva do C?rculo de Bakhtin, analisar as capas da revista Mundo Estranho como enunciado concreto, a fim de perceber as rela??es dial?gicas entre a dimens?o verbal e a visual. Por quest?es te?rico-metodol?gicas, a an?lise incide sobre quatro capas referentes aos meses de outubro (2015), mar?o (2016), junho (2016) e fevereiro (2017) para compor a gera??o dos dados. A abordagem desta pesquisa ? de base qualitativo-interpretativista, uma vez que enfoca quest?es particulares da realidade social que n?o podem ser quantificadas, pois criam um universo de possibilidades, de aspira??es, de valores e de atitudes. Por isso, analisa a forma como se estabelecem as rela??es verbo-visuais na constitui??o do enunciado, a saber: imagem, diagrama??o, manchetes, cores, t?tulo e resumo principal da mat?ria, bem como motiva??es ideol?gicas da empresa em rela??o aos fatos anunciados que s?o de fundamental import?ncia para compreender as rela??es dial?gico-valorativas que, conforme a fundamenta??o te?rica assumida na pesquisa, atravessam todo e qualquer projeto de dizer. Como aporte te?rico, utiliza conceitos inter-relacionados, tais como: signo ideol?gico, enunciado concreto, g?neros discursivos, carnavaliza??o e rela??es dial?gicas por meio das concep??es advindas do C?rculo de Bakhtin, bem como de seus divulgadores como Brait (2014) e Faraco (2009). Esta pesquisa n?o promove um fim, mas outras possibilidades de an?lise da linguagem verbo-visual. Os resultados apontam que o sentido, nesse g?nero, tem sua constru??o na rela??o dial?gica entre a dimens?o verbal e visual, cabendo ao leitor recuperar o fio discursivo que os une. / Researchers from the most diverse areas, not only Applied Linguistics, have focused their efforts in the sense of elucidating and amplifying the discussions about discursive genres, especially those of visual-verbal nature such as the case of magazines? covers. This research has as its core objective, under the perspective of The Bakhtin Circle, analyze the covers of the Mundo Estranho magazine as a solid statement, to the end of perceiving the dialogical relationships between the verbal and the visual dimension. For theoretical-methodological purposes, the analysis occurs on four different covers related to the months of October (2015), March (2016), June (2016) and February (2017) to constitute the data generation. This research?s approach is of qualitative-interpretative basis, since its focus on particular questions on social reality that cannot be quantified, for they create an universe of possibilities, aspirations, values and attitudes. Hence why it analyzes the form in which those relationships establish themselves in the constitution of the statement, that are: image, publishing layout, headlines, colours, title and abstract of the main article, as well as the ideological motivations of the company related to the announced facts that are of utmost importance to understand the dialogical-evaluative relationships that, according to the theoretical foundation assumed on the research, intersects every and any project of the saying. As theoretical basis, it uses inter-related concepts, such as: ideological sign, solid statement, discursive genres, carnivalization and dialogical relationships by means of conceptions derived from The Bakhtin Circle, as well as its researchers as Brait (2014) and Faraco (2009). This research does not promote an end, but other possibilities of analysis of the visual-verbal language and the results point out that, in this genre, has its construction on the dialogical relationship between the verbal and visual dimension, inducing the reader to recover the discursive thread that binds them.

Considerando o não-aproveitamento da linguagem verbo-visual e da produção literária brasileira contemporânea pelo discurso didático utilizado nas aulas de Literatura, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo verificar como a imagem veiculada pela capa do livro consegue dialogar, no sentido bakhtiniano do termo, com o texto literário a que pertence. Assim, nos detemos em analisar a representação visual das capas das obras Agosto (1990) e O Seminarista (2009), de Rubem Fonseca no diálogo com o texto e que sentidos esta materialidade verbo-visual consegue despertar para o leitor. Para tanto, este trabalho tem como aporte teórico as considerações sobre o dialogismo do Círculo de Bakhtin bem como seus conceitos derivados como signo ideológico, enunciado concreto, gêneros discursivos e relações dialógicas, articulando com os estudos sobre os elementos que se integram na perceptividade da imagem. Devido aos objetos de estudo desta pesquisa, a fotografia é considerada como recorte ideológico e, subjacente a ela, a cor em sua dimensão simbólica e psicodinâmica, participando do projeto enunciativo. A análise das capas nos mostrou que imagem e texto, assinados por dois sujeitos: autor e o responsável pela elaboração da imagem, ou capista, conseguem travar uma relação dialógica de sentido no que se refere às informações sobre o contexto da obra literária, bem como informações que se verificam somente no interior da narrativa. Além disso, a capa do livro também consegue resgatar alguns valores já perpetuados pelo autor mencionado, incitando interpretações sobre seu contexto de produção. É nesse sentido que a imagem antecipa, de certo modo, uma maneira de ler a obra. Sugerindo múltiplas leituras através de manifestações de sentido derivadas do texto, o ensino de Literatura no Ensino Médio pode lançar mão dos recursos da linguagem verbo-visual na exploração das multiplicidades de sentidos que podem emergir do texto literário no contexto escolar. / Considering the non-use of verb-visual language and literary contemporary Brazilian didactic discourse used by classes in Literature, this research aims to determine how the image conveyed by the book cover can engage in Bakhtinian sense of the term, with the literary text to which it belongs. Thus, we pause to consider the visual representation of the covers of the works in Agosto (1990) and O Seminarista (2009), de Rubem Fonseca in dialogue with the text and that this materiality verb senses -visual can wake up to the reader. Therefore, this work has as theoretical considerations about the dialogism of Bakhtin Circle as well as their concepts derived as ideological sign, concrete utterance, genres and dialogical relations, articulating with the studies on the elements that integrate the perceptiveness image. Due to the objects of this research, the photograph is considered clipping ideological, and behind it, the color in its symbolic dimension and psychotherapy, participating in the project enunciation. The analysis of the covers has shown that image and text, signed by two subjects: author and the professional responsible for the cover can catch a dialogical relationship of meaning with regard to information about the context of the literary work, as well as information that exist only inside the narrative. In addition, the cover of the book also manages to rescue some values already perpetuated by the author mentioned, urging interpretations of its context of production. It is in this sense that the image anticipates, in a sense, a way of reading the work. Suggesting multiple readings through demonstrations of meaning derived from the text, the teaching of literature in High School can make use of the resources of language in verbal-visual exploration of the multiplicity of meanings that can emerge from the literary text in the school context.

As crônicas de Millôr Fernandes apresentam uma característica peculiar que é a de conjugar a linguagem verbal e visual, constituindo por isso um material de interesse para pesquisadores da linguagem. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a linguagem verbo-visual, bem como as imbricações linguísticas constitutivas do discurso milloriano. Tem como apoio teórico a análise dialógica do discurso na perspectiva bakhtiniana. Assim, para cumprir essa proposta, utilizaram-se as obras de Bakhtin e do Círculo, tais como: Estética da criação verbal (2011, 2003), Marxismo e filosofia da linguagem (2010) e Questões de Literatura e Estética: a teoria do romance (2010), bem como seus críticos intérpretes, a saber: Brait (2010; 2012), Melo (2010), Miottelo (2012), entre outros. Como objetos de pesquisa foram selecionadas 2 crônicas de Millôr Fernandes publicadas na revista Veja, edição n 1871, de 15/09/2004, que marca o retorno do escritor como cronista da revista e a edição n 2130, datada de 16/09/2009, que encerra seu período de contribuição para a mesma. As crônicas foram analisadas em seus elementos essenciais que caracterizam o gênero na perspectiva dialógica bakhtiniana, ou seja, elementos como o tema, a forma composicional e o estilo, foram vistos, observando as relações dialógicas entre autor, leitor presumido e contexto. Também é discutida a linguagem verbo-visual que as constitui, composta por outros signos, além dos verbais, tais como imagens, cores, tipos de letras, que compõem o conjunto enunciativo. Foram imprescindíveis as teorias de base que estudam a linguagem verbo-visual (Dondis, 1991) as cores, (Guimarães, 2000, 2003) e suas contribuições para um entendimento mais acurado dos efeitos de sentido dessas crônicas. Observa-se ainda a forma inusitada de elaboração da crônica de Millôr Fernandes, modificando o formato genérico e o estilo característico das crônicas jornalísticas. As análises revelaram que, por meio da arquitetura linguístico-discursiva, as crônicas são demonstrações particulares da visão do autor e que por isso a organização textual é marcada pelo seu tom humorístico valorativo, expressando seu ponto de vista frente aos acontecimentos do contexto imediato, respondendo assim ao leitor presumido, de acordo com a concepção bakhtiniana de enunciado. Espera-se com esse trabalho colaborar com as pesquisas em Linguística Aplicada no que diz respeito à leitura da linguagem verbo-visual do gênero crônica. / This research is executed in a declarative- discursive perspective, essentially defined the dialogic language theory of Bakhtin and his circle. This research presents a proposal for analysis of verb-visual language of chronic, exploring them as concrete statements that perspective. The chronicles of Millôr Fernandes exhibit a peculiar feature which is to combine verbal and visual languages and is therefore a material of interest to researches of language. To comply with this proposed analysis of two chronic by Millôr Fernandes, written in a period of six years, the first one, the edition n 1871, of 15/09/2004 and the last one n 2130, of 16/09/2009, respectively, published in Veja magazine. The objective is to observe the dialogical relationship between compositional form and style, considering the theme, the compositional form and the style. The verb-visual language that is composed of other signs is also discussed, in addition to verbal, such as images, colors, fonts, which together comprise the enunciation. The theories studying the colors and its contributions to a more accurate understanding of the sense effects of these utterances chronic. Also it is necessary to consider the uncommon development of Millôr Fernandes chronic, modifying the generic format and style journalistic chronicles. Analyses revealed that, through linguistic- discursive architecture, chronic statements are particular vision of the writer and therefore the textual organization is marked by subjectivity and evaluative tone and writer marked by authors subjectivity and evaluative tone. So he expresses his strandpoint about social events in a humorous way. This work is a suggestion of critical verb-visual reading and expecting to contribute to Applied Linguistic.

During the process of survey and selection of the corpora, we took into consideration, among other factors, the diversity in the spheres of production and circulation of the variants of this same fable, as well as their intertextual relation. Our research is divided in three stages. We started by surveying the history of that artistic activity, based upon concepts of act/activity, genre of discourse and genre of activity. In the following stage, we discussed the characterisation of the fable as a discursive practice for the construction of the proposed theme and, finally, we analyzed the discursive verbo-visual materiality of Lobato, La Fontaine and Aesop s texts in order to, then, establish the dialogical relations among them. At the end of this research, the study concerning the representation of the artistic activity in the fable The Cicada and the Ants shows its relevance in the measure it makes possible not only the rescue of those memory and identity of the Brazilians of the first half of the 20th Century but also points ways to the understanding of other social, historical, cultural values represented in this fable, although not considered in this project / Esta pesquisa pretende identificar os discursos sobre a atividade artística na composição verbo-visual da fábula A cigarra e as formigas , assinada por Monteiro Lobato e ilustradores, recuperando, a partir da versão brasileira, as versões de Esopo e de La Fontaine, a fim de estabelecer a relação interdiscursiva entre elas. No processo de levantamento e seleção dos corpora, levamos em consideração, dentre outros fatores, a diversidade nas esferas de produção e de circulação das variantes dessa mesma fábula, bem como a relação intertexual entre elas. Nossa investigação se divide em três etapas. Iniciamos com um levantamento histórico da atividade artística, embasado nos conceitos de ato/atividade, de gênero do discurso e de gênero da atividade. Na etapa seguinte, tratamos da caracterização da fábula como prática discursiva na construção da temática proposta e, finalmente, analisamos a materialidade verbo-visual discursiva dos textos de Lobato, La Fontaine e Esopo, para, então, estabelecer as relações dialógicas entre eles. Ao final da pesquisa, o estudo da representação da atividade artística na fábula A cigarra e as formigas mostra sua relevância na medida em que ele possibilita o resgate não apenas da memória e da identidade dos brasileiros da primeira metade do século XX, como também aponta caminhos para a compreensão de outros valores sócio-histórico-culturais representados nessa fábula, valores estes que não foram contemplados neste trabalho

The package and the labels support the companies to communicate with the customers in addition to give protection, storage and convenience in proportion to the products that move in the price list. The labels mainly add up a value which helps the companies differ their products and increase the value of the brands among the final customers. However, the information given in the label are not clear sometimes. It displays a verbal-visual defective language resulted from a poor visibility, legibleness and comprehensibleness of the verbal and visual marks. The aim of this research is to verify, according to the costumers‟ view, the level of the clarity in the informative texts, harmony and ergonomic conformity of the package labels in the chocolate powder of the Claralate brand, considering the linguistic aspects presented on the labels. The criteria to evaluate the chocolate package selected were based on the linguistic field: the organization and the structure of the text derided from the classification of the textual genre; the clarity and the comprehension of the language utilized on those labels. From the ergonomic view, the informative and ergonomic conformity, based on the following requirements: legibility, symbols, characters, reading fields and intermission of the written lines. Therefore, the research done july 2007 and added july 2011 had a structured questionnaire in the interview put to the 118 customers of the chocolate package that go shopping in one of the two supermarkets in Floriano, Piau? S?o Jorge and/or Super Quaresma. The main results of the investigation show that the linguistic aspects in the informative texts of the labels provide the customers‟ expectancy partially, while the consideration of the informative ergonomic analyzed can contribute to the improvement of the information and consequent visual progress of those, on the labels of chocolate package investigated. As recommendation towards the maker of the product, the outcome of the research indicates: harmonize the proportion of the letters and numbers; enlarge the letters size; make the visual information more comprehensive determined by the reading field; put the expiry date in a better visual place / Vivemos num mundo de produtos embalados. A embalagem e os r?tulos ajudam as empresas a se comunicarem com os consumidores e a fornecerem prote??o, armazenagem e conveni?ncia, ? medida que os produtos se movimentam na cadeia de valor. Especialmente os r?tulos adicionam um valor que auxilia as empresas a diferenciar seus produtos e a aumentar o valor da marca entre os consumidores finais. Por?m, muitas vezes, as informa??es contidas nos r?tulos das embalagens n?o s?o claras, apresentando uma linguagem verbo-visual deficiente resultante da m? visibilidade, legibilidade e compreensibilidade de signos verbais e visuais. O objetivo dessa pesquisa ? verificar, na vis?o dos consumidores, o n?vel de clareza dos textos informativos, harmonia e conformidade ergon?mica do r?tulo de embalagem do achocolatado em p? Claralate , considerando os aspectos lingu?sticos e ergon?micos presentes no r?tulo do produto. Os crit?rios para avalia??o da embalagem do achocolatado selecionado foram do ponto de vista lingu?stico: a organiza??o e estrutura??o dos textos a partir da classifica??o do g?nero textual; a clareza e compreens?o da linguagem utilizada no r?tulo. Do ponto de vista da ergonomia, a conformidade ergon?mica informacional, com base nos requisitos: legibilidade, s?mbolos, caracteres, campo de leitura e espa?amento de linhas. Para tanto, a pesquisa de campo realizada em julho de 2007 e, ampliada em julho de 2011, utilizou um question?rio estruturado na entrevista a 118 consumidores de achocolatados que realizam suas compras em um dos dois supermercados de Floriano-Pi. S?o Jorge e/ou Super Quaresma. Os principais resultados da investiga??o mostram que os aspectos lingu?sticos presentes nos textos informativos do r?tulo atendem parcialmente ?s expectativas dos consumidores, enquanto a considera??o dos requisitos ergon?micos informacionais analisados podem vir a contribuir para o aperfei?oamento das informa??es e consequente melhoria visual destas, no r?tulo de embalagem do achocolatado investigado. Como recomenda??o ? fabricante do produto, o resultado da pesquisa aponta: Harmonizar a propor??o das letras e algarismos; Aumentar o tamanho das letras; Tornar melhor compreensiva a informa??o visual determinada pelos campos de leitura; Colocar a data de validade em local de melhor destaque
