Fikční světy románů Timothée de Fombella a jejich didaktické využití / Fictitious Worlds of Timothée de Fombelle's Novels And Their Use in Didactics

Dordová, Aneta January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with three novels written by a contemporary French writer of literature for children and young adults, Timothée de Fombelle: Toby Alone, Vango and The Book of Perle. The aim of this thesis is to define options of incorporation of these novels into literature lessons in higher grade classes of the elementary school. The thesis consists of a theoretical analysis of chosen aspects of the novels, description of subjective experience with reading the books, three excerpts from the novels, their didactic potential and model preparations for the lessons. The model lesson preparation includes the three-phase E-U-R learning model as well as the methods developing the ability of understanding and critical thinking (RWCT - Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking). Each model preparation is followed by a didactical commentary. Preparation of lesson with the excerpt from Tobiáš Lolness was implemented practically and consequently reflected by the teacher. The thesis also includes selected works from the students. As ascertained, the novels by Fombell show various mutual signs as well as the fact that they have a significant potential to engage attention of a young reader, since they provide topics interesting for this age group in accordance with the stage of their psychological development....

Literárně didaktický potenciál Českého nebe / Literary-didactic potential of "České nebe"

Jiskrová, Zuzana January 2015 (has links)
This thesis directly continues my bachelor thesis titled "What and Why do we laugh with Jára Cimrman at". The first, theoretical part, sums up the observation of the poetics of the plays of Jára Cimrman Theatre and subsequently proves them through interpretation of the last play of Smoljak & Svěrák called "České nebe". The first two chapters provide the theoretical base of knowledge for the four-hour-long lesson based on "České nebe" itself. Both these chapters mainly focus on the used humour and the character of Jára Cimrman, the Czech national genius, but also on related topics such as mystification, space-time, Czechness and composition. The second part of the thesis is then the main one which brings the theory into practice. "České nebe" as a play offers an enormous didactic potential which can be used to verify and deepen one's literacy. The didactic part includes a complex preparation for four lessons, for which it provides a basic introduction of Jára Cimrman Theatre and a summary of comedy techniques used by this theatre, which have a strong emphasis on parody. Mainly, though, it provides a brief insight into the opinions, values and the culturally-historical knowledge of a today's adolescent. The students had a chance to elect their own Czech heaven committee in their class and, by doing...

Berglund Lindberg, Victor January 2021 (has links)
The aim of this paper is to analyze the didactic potential of Mikael Niemis novel Popularmusic from Vittula as it relates to working with the fundamental values of the Swedish schoolsystem from two perspectives. The first of these relates to how the novel portrays gender, witha particular focus on masculinity and how it interprets itself, femininity, and the world aroundit. The second of these perspectives relates to how it portrays the national minority grouptornedalingar and their situation in Sweden. This paper aims to illustrate not only how thesetwo perspectives are portrayed but motivate why they are useful in the work with fundamentalvalues. To answer these questions this paper utilizes the qualitative method of close reading in theanalysis of Niemis novel. The theoretical lense through which this is done includes researcherMalin Alkestrands definition of didactic potential as well as a repertoire of gender study andpostcolonial terminology, such as otherfication, masculinity and boyology. The study findsthat the didactic potential of Mikael Niemis text as it relates to gender lay in how it breakswith the traditional gender norms of rural masculinity. Another important factor is how thetext highlights the role of femininity and music in shaping the new male identity of thenovel’s protagonist, Matti. The study also finds that the didactic potential in Niemis portrayalof tornedalingar lay in its emphasizing of the political nature and origins of the historicotherfication of said ethnic minority.

Literárně didaktický potenciál Čapkových Apokryfů / Literary-didactic potential of Capek's Apocryphs

Michálková, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis is to show the didactic potential of the Apocryphal Tales by Karel Capek as well as to suggest the possible ways to include it in the high school literature education. The theoretical part of this thesis mainly deals with the author - Karel Capek and the concept of the Apocryph. These theoretical chapters study the Apocryphal Tales in detail, especially, focusing on the origin of the book and the existing editions, content and formal analysis, author's work with the intertexture and artistic progress used by Karel Capek. The special part is dedicated to the possible reasons of underestimation of the Apocyrph within author's other works. The practical part targets the didactical potential of the Apocryph. There are described the possibilities of the work with all the texts and possible ways how to work with the idea of Apocryph. The crucial part shows the detailed analysis of the didactical potential of seven selected texts integrated with extended commentary to the structure of this chapter. Another very important part pursues the verification of didactical potential of one of the Apocryph in the framework of secondary school education. This part contains the commented version of the preparation for the high school lecture and its concluding reflection that comments on the...

About appropriate use of bovarysm in French classes : developing the students’ fictional empathy to help them read literary stories : the example of the character’s diary.

Larrivé, Véronique 12 September 2014 (has links)
With mirror neurons and simulation theories, recent findings in neuroscience on inter-subjective relations offer new data to literary theory about fictional narrative. They help restore literary bovarysm of which cognitive version, the fictional empathy, is the subject of this thesis. It appears that, in a world created by fiction, the fictional empathy that the reader feels for characters allows him to understand their mental states and anticipate their behavior. Thus, the fictional emotions, real catalyst of the simulation process that allows the reader to physically experience the perspective of the character, fully participate in the process of understanding and interpreting the story. The objective is therefore to rethink the mental activity of the reader of fiction, with a focus on how the reader grasps the fictional world and gets involved emotionally. The capacity for fictional empathy then becomes a reader’s skill, essential to immerse himself in the fictional universe. This approach raises a question about the teaching of literary reading. When reading fiction, in which way and how is it advisable to seek the students’ fictional empathy for the characters? To address this issue, this thesis proposes that a reading-cum-writing support mechanism be envisaged: the "character’s diary". The experiment conducted in CM2 and 6th grade classes, relates to the diary of Gilgamesh, mythological hero whose adventure stories belong to our founding texts. Through the observation of students' written along with the analysis of interviews and individual questionnaires, it would appear that fictional writing requested from students in the first person are a means to exercise their capacity for fictional empathy and as a corollary develop their skills in literary reading.

Inkluderande litteraturundervisning på gymnasiet : Svensklärares resonemang om inkludering och inkluderande litteraturundervisning / Inclusive literary studies in high school : Swedish teachers' reasoning about inclusion and inclusive literature teaching

Holm, Christer January 2020 (has links)
