[en] THE OFFICE WORKER AND THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES: PERCEPTIONS OF CHANGES IN THE DAILY WORK / [pt] O TRABALHADOR DE ESCRITÓRIO E AS TICS: PERCEPÇÕES DAS MUDANÇAS NO COTIDIANO DO TRABALHO

ANETTE MARIA CORREIA DA COSTA 13 November 2017 (has links)
[en] Convenience offered by information and communication technologies (ICTs) and the access to the personal computer — laptops, tablets and smartphones — have stimulated teleworking. Through the use of mobile technologies, office work is being done anywhere and anytime. The question then arises: How office workers are dealing with these interactions and diversity of places for carrying out their work? The objective of this research was to map the office transformations, caused by the ICTs usage routines, initiated with the insertion of the Internet, until the present day. We have worked with the hypothesis that the Internet and the facilities offered by ICTs have contributed to the fact that office work migrates from the conventional office environment to other alternative locations, and that this migration has influenced the relationship between personal and work life. To collect the office workers perceptions regarding the mobility of work activities, interviews and discussions were held in focus groups. The results of the applied techniques pointed to both the benefits, with the use of the mobile devices in the accomplishment of the work activities, as well as to points of worker s discomfort associated with this practice, in the professional and personal scope. This research proposes to contribute to the field of design, in the definition of design guidelines for spaces and interior design that reflect the increasing demands of society in relation to mobile work.

Financování terapeutických komunit pro drogově závislé v České republice / Financing of therapeutic communities for drug addicted in the Czech Republic

Danišová, Marie January 2009 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Financing of therapeutic communities for drug addicted in the Czech Republic" deals with the financing of therapeutic communities which are the most successful in production abstainer in the system of care for drug addicted in the Czech Republic. The analysis of documents shows that the process of financing isn't perfect. By eliminating the problems of the process of financing we can achieve that the therapists will not have to deal with these problems and thus able to devote more time therapeutic program and its clients which may lead to more abstainer. The aim of this work is a critical reflection process of financing of therapeutic communities, identifying of problems associated with this financing and to propose solutions to public policy. The most burning issue in this process of the allocation of dotation is late financing of therapeutic communities which I consider as my research problem. The thesis is confirmed this assumption and it became clear that problems in this process are unnecessary and the overwhelming majority of this problems could be easily removed. Some problems are serious nature and for change the political will is needed which currently isn't much.

Platsoberoende Scrum-utveckling : - En fallstudie

Danielsen, Nils, Fritsch, Maximilian January 2021 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to map how individuals experience remote scrum development, what problems arise and whether efficiency is affected. In order to achieve the purpose of the study and answer the research-questions formulated in the report, data has been collected. This data has been partly quantitative, where data has been collected from a business that conducts system development with the methodology scrum. Data has also been qualitative where data in the form of interviews have been collected. The collected data has then been analyzed in order to answer the research questions. After completing the analysis, conclusions have been drawn in order to fulfill the thesis' original purpose. The collected empirical evidence indicates that certain problems related to communication become clear when the work is conducted remote. The data collected also indicates a deteriorating experience of the social environment when the work is conducted remote. Finally, the analyzed result also indicates a reduced efficiency when the work has shifted to remote. The theoretical framework is the basis for presenting existing theories that are relevant to the study. The report describes existing theories that are related to site-independent work, agile development, scrum development and how the effectiveness of scrum development can be measured.
