The study presents the discussion on the issue of fishing in areas of Céu and Cajuúna in the city of Soure. These areas are located in micro-region of the Ararí mesoregion of Marajó- Pará. The fishery is developed in the rural context of the Amazonian territorial scope. Fishing is the result of the interaction of components: Seasonality environmental, natural resources and fishing capacity of the region. It is worth highlighting the territorial dimension of fishing for fishermen to understand their concepts of territorys and territorialitys. The fishermen of the areas of Cajuúna and Céu have the centrality of their living space and reproduction in fishing activity, and the rural villages of fishermen are expressions of the power of local collectivities. In this work, is questioned how the Geographical Science understand the ownership, domain, and use of space by fishermen. For this, we tried to understand, through research, the actions of different social actors involved in the problems addressed. At this point, we tried to understand the meaning of the territoriality of local fishermen, their relationship with nature, and their work organization in order to obtain a better visibility of the territories of fishermen. These territories are defined and appropriated to the aquatic environment and its configuration is inaccurate. "Possession" of these territories is vast and very fluid, due to seasonal dynamic of water and fish. For fishermen, fishing is more than one activity, because it involves a complexity of relationships and phenomena, between man and nature, which has influence on the forms of social organizations of these groups. The techniques of production of the fishermen are part of their cultural complex of ownership and appropriation of nature. These techniques define elements of life in the processes of territorialization and construction of the identity of the fisherman.

Hurtado Martínez, Mariano 20 November 2009 (has links)
The object of study of this thesis was to elucidate the different mechanisms from which serine proteases plasminogen activators, uPA and tPA, carry out their effects in tumor progression of colon cancer and pancreatic cancer. The results described show in detail the signal transduction pathways used by these APs. It shows the one hand as uPA, proteolytically active, enhance the effect of scatter in colon cancer cells HT29-M6, and by another as tPA by binding to annexin II and EGFR transactivation stimulated invasion and proliferation in pancreatic cancer cells.

CMOS Power Amplifier for IEEE 802.11g/n standard (2.4GHz) in 65nm process

Yousaf, Malik Muzammil January 2010 (has links)
Today, the mobile communication systems can be found everywhere due to thelow cost and high degree integration level which is achievable with CMOS. Theuser can use a number of applications using only one device. The transmitteris one of the main blocks in communication systems for transmitting the signal, where the RF power a mplifier (PA) amplifies the RF signal to the r equiredoutput power so that signal can reach the r eceiver. Nowadays mostly transmitteremploys such modulation schemes which have high data rate and to amplify suchsignals, a linear PA is required. The efficiency of the PA should also be high, sothat it can provide high output power to load without consuming much poweritself. This thesis work describes the “CMOS Power Amplifier for IEEE 802.11g/nstandard (2.4GHz) in 65nm process”. The PA is a two stage amplifier biasedin Class AB mode with LC type input matching. The inter-stage matching iscarried out by the RF choke of the driver stage and the input capacitance of thepower stage. The output of the PA is power matched to the load. A linearizingtechnique is implemented to make PA more linear. The simulation results showsthat the designed PA gives 1dB compression point of +23.36dBm, a gain of26.82dB, a power added efficiency of 30%, a linear current of 122.30mA providing18dBm power to load and saturated output power of 24.45dBm.

The Practice Of Pr In The Public Sector, The Case Of Turkish Airlines: A Critical Appraisal

Guvelioglu, Recep 01 November 2006 (has links) (PDF)
This study starts with the explanations of importance, principles, management stages, targets and tools of public relations in general and gives detailed information on its theoretical base. The first two chapters are designated to provide detailed information about public relations. In the third chapter the evaluation of public relations in the public sector which is the main goal of the research is presented. It is obvious that public relations is a management function which creates a mutual understanding between the corporation and its publics or audience. But this isn&Otilde / t the case all of the time in the public sector. THY is taken as a case in order to provide clear examples of the mentality and practices in public relations in the public sector. The detailed information about the corporation and its public relations units are given to explain the PR activities of the corporation. THY as a state economic corporation, has a socially responsible approach in its service / on the other hand, it is a profit-making entity as well. From the number of assigned personnel to the sub-structural matters and the principles of promotional activities, THY administration&Otilde / s approach to public relations is evaluated in this study. v In the selected year of 2003, THY administration was at the edge of changing mentality in public relations issues. Three cases such as the Diyarbak&amp / #221 / r plane crash, SARS crisis and the starting flights to New Delhi are taken to explain the traditional mentality and the new business like mentality in public relations. The public relations in THY is compared with British Airways and Lufthansa in their websites.
