E-konsumenternas köpbeteende och leveransalternativ som konkurrensmedel : Ett kvalitativ och kvantitativ flerfalls studie

E-handel är en revolutionerande industri som växer ständigt och kommer med all sannolikhet att fortsätta växa i en accelererande fart. Syftet med denna studie är att få en överblick över vilka faktorer som påverkar svenska konsumenters köpbeteende i samband med e-handel. Samt vilka faktorer som spelar en anspelande roll vid val av leveransaktör för e-handelsföretagen. Studien visar hur valet av leveransaktör kan påverka både konsument och företag och vilka krav som ställs i samband med en leverans.  Insamlingen av teori och data genomfördes med hjälp av en litteratur studie, enkätundersökningar och intervjuer. De viktigaste faktorerna som påverkar konsumenternas köpbeteende vid hemsidans utformning visade sig vara websidans pålitlighet (säkerhet) och websidans användbarhet följt av interaktivitet Konsumenterna ansåg att en marknads mix och en estetisk tilltalande hemsida inte påverkar deras köp avsevärt.  Vid val av den logistiska aspekten så som frakt, ses en leverans som ankommer i tid, och en fri frakt vara av störst betydelse bland deltagarna. De angivna faktorerna visade sig även påverka återkommande köp från samma hemsida i framtiden. E-handelsföretagen ser inte leveransalternativet som ett konkurrensmedel bland sina konkurrenter då alla de ledande distributörerna erbjuder samma tjänster så som spårbar frakt, korta leveranstider och enkelhet. Vid val av leveransaktör har samtliga företag rangordnat leverans tid, möjligspårning och snabb respons tillsammans med pris och godsförlust/godshantering som dem två viktigaste faktorerna.

The goal of this research is to create a modern computer system, which allows to trace a parcel location at any time and inform the consignor by sending an email or SMS. The client can by himself on the Internet, set the period for receiving messages to his email or telephone. The software will send information about attempted delivery times for the parcel to the consignee and his name and adreess. The system comprises the from following subsystems – order management system, transport management system, exception reporting, track and trace, warehouse management system, data warehouse and connectivity – information backbone. The office of exchange manager needs to know if a registered bag was not received on time, without looking through information on all bags arriving. Client needs to be informed that important parcels arrived when they arrived, without having to constantly look for it via the Internet. The answer is the modern paradigm of "Alert" and wireless communication. At the basis of the system is a set of definitions of events, targets, physical units and messages – alert definition, display and messages.

Išanalizuoti mokslinę ir probleminę literatūrą bei teisės aktus teritorijų planavimo klausimais; 2. Ištirti detaliųjų planų rengimo tvarką, nustatytą norminiuose dokumentuose; 3. Ištirti žemės sklypo plano, prilyginamojo detaliojo teritorijų planavimo dokumentui, rengimo tvarką, nustatytą norminiuose dokumentuose; 4. Atlikti 2009-2011 m. As medidas do experimento Green Ocean Amazon (GoAmazon 2014/5 ) foram realiza- das nos arredores de Manaus, na região central da Amazônia, durante dois anos, com o objetivo de entender como o ciclo de vida dos aerossóis e das nuvens em condições naturais é influenciado pelas emissões urbanas. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho procurou estudar a higroscopicidade dos aerossóis em condições poluídas pela pluma de Manaus e discuti-la à luz do que era esperado em condições prístinas. A partir desses resultados experimentais, usamos um modelo adiabático de parcela de nuvem para estudar o impacto da poluição de Manaus na formação de nuvens quentes. Observamos altas concentrações de aerossóis vindos de Manaus, com média de Ncn = 2.425 cm 3 e percentis de 25 % e de 75 % respectivamente dados por 937 cm 3 e 3.259 cm 3 . Para a Amazônia prístina, os valores tipicamente encontrados são da ordem de Ncn 400 cm 3 . A higroscopicidade das partículas da poluição urbana é notavelmente baixa, com média de t = (0, 09 ± 0, 01) para todos os diâmetros investigados. Além disso, são altamente heterogêneas quanto à higroscopicidade. As partículas naturais da Amazônia têm higroscopicidade média da ordem de t 0, 14, não sendo tão heterogêneas quanto as partículas de Manaus. Aperfeiçoamos e utilizamos um modelo adiabático de parcela de nuvem para investigar de forma sistemática o impacto da pluma de Manaus nos primeiros estágios de formação das nuvens quentes. O modelo foi validado através da comparação com quatro casos exemplificados na literatura, vindos de modelos conceitualmente semelhantes, mas de implementações numéricas diferentes. Em nossas simulações, consideramos que o formato da distribuição de tamanho das partículas de aerossol poderia variar com a concentração total de partículas, ao irmos da situação limpa para a poluída. Além disso, consideramos também que a higroscopicidade variava com a concentração total e com o tamanho das partículas de aerossol. Isto foi feito em etapas, permitindo representar as partículas de aerossol com crescente grau de detalhamento. Observamos que o número de gotículas na base da nuvem é determinado principalmente pela concentração de partículas e pela velocidade vertical. Em segundo lugar, vem o formato da distribuição de tamanho, e, depois, a higroscopicidade. Mostramos que simulações que não consideram estes outros fatores irão, necessariamente, superestimar o efeito dos aerossóis nas nuvens quentes. Da condição limpa para a condição poluída pela pluma, observamos o aumento da concentração gotículas e a correspondente diminuição do raio efetivo dessa população de gotículas. Observamos, também, a diminuição da fração de aerossóis ativados. Os resultados sugerem que, na condição poluída, as nuvens acumulam água líquida mais rapidamente em seus primeiros 200 m, em relação à condição limpa. / The measurements of the Green Ocean Amazon 2014/5 experiment were carried out on the outskirts of Manaus, in the central Amazon region, for two years, with the objective of understanding how the natural aerosol and cloud life cycles would be perturbed by urban emissions. In this context, the present work aimed at studying the aerosol hygroscopicity under polluted condition, comparing it with the pristine environment. Based on these results, we used an adiabatic cloud parcel model to study the impact of Manaus pollution on the first stages warm clouds formation. We observed high concentrations of aerosols coming from Manaus, with average Ncn = 2.425 cm 3 and percentiles 25 % and 75 % of 937 cm 3 and 3.259 cm 3 res- pectively. For the pristine Amazon, typical values would be about Ncn 400 cm 3 . The hygroscopicity of urban pollution particles were notable low, with average t = (0, 09±0, 01) for all diameters investigated, and a high level of heterogeneity was found. On the other hand, natural particles in the Amazon have a hygroscopicity of about t 0,14 and are not as much heterogeneous. We improved and used an adiabatic cloud parcel model to systematically investigate the impact of the Manaus pollution plume on the first stages of warm cloud develop- ment. The model was validated by comparison with four exemplary cases found in the literature, from conceptually similar models, but with different numerical imple- mentations. In our simulations, we considered that the shape of the size distribution could vary with increasing number concentration, as we moved from the clean to the polluted conditions. We also allowed the hygroscopicity to vary with the concentration and the diameter of the aerosol particles. These were done in stages, hence allowing an increasing level of complexity in the representation of the aerosol particles. We observed that the number of activated cloud droplets is as function primarily of the concentration and the vertical velocity. In second place comes the dependence with the shape of the size distribution and, after that, with the hygroscopicity. We showed that simulations that do not consider these other factors will, necessarily, over predict the effect of aerosols on shallow warm clouds. As expected, when we simulated clean conditions changing towards a polluted one, we found an increase in the number of activated droplets and corresponding decrease of effective radius of those droplets, and of the activated fraction. Our results suggest that, under polluted conditions, clouds accumulate liquid water more rapidly during the first stages of its development than under clean conditions.

Improved Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) Estimation for Local Roads using Parcel-Level Travel Demand Modeling

Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) is a critical input to many transportation analyses. By definition, AADT is the average 24-hour volume at a highway location over a full year. Traditionally, AADT is estimated using a mix of permanent and temporary traffic counts. Because field collection of traffic counts is expensive, it is usually done for only the major roads, thus leaving most of the local roads without any AADT information. However, AADTs are needed for local roads for many applications. For example, AADTs are used by state Departments of Transportation (DOTs) to calculate the crash rates of all local roads in order to identify the top five percent of hazardous locations for annual reporting to the U.S. DOT. This dissertation develops a new method for estimating AADTs for local roads using travel demand modeling. A major component of the new method involves a parcel-level trip generation model that estimates the trips generated by each parcel. The model uses the tax parcel data together with the trip generation rates and equations provided by the ITE Trip Generation Report. The generated trips are then distributed to existing traffic count sites using a parcel-level trip distribution gravity model. The all-or-nothing assignment method is then used to assign the trips onto the roadway network to estimate the final AADTs. The entire process was implemented in the Cube demand modeling system with extensive spatial data processing using ArcGIS. To evaluate the performance of the new method, data from several study areas in Broward County in Florida were used. The estimated AADTs were compared with those from two existing methods using actual traffic counts as the ground truths. The results show that the new method performs better than both existing methods. One limitation with the new method is that it relies on Cube which limits the number of zones to 32,000. Accordingly, a study area exceeding this limit must be partitioned into smaller areas. Because AADT estimates for roads near the boundary areas were found to be less accurate, further research could examine the best way to partition a study area to minimize the impact.

This thesis is focused on process management. Its aim is to identify the processes of the selected company and present a graphic illustration of these in process maps. The maps are results of process mapping, which is a combination of several techniques - participation in process, one-to-one interviews and observation. Practical part also includes situational analysis. For description of macroenvironment, PEST analysis was used. It defines political, economic, social and technological situation in the Czech Republic. The analysis of the microenvironment deals with trends in the area of e-commerce and parcel transport. In order to analyze the competitive environment, Porter five forces analysis has been made. The analytical part is enriched by SWOT analysis. In conclusion, due to the findings from the analyses, the author formulates proposals for the improvement of selected business processes.

The first one shows ABC analysis and its suitability for the chosen entity. In the other part, sent parcels are analyzed, focusing on its structure and frequency. In the conclusion of the paper, there is an evaluation of benefits from the proceedings taken during the elaboration of this thesis.
