Das nonverbale Verhalten des ecuadorianischen Präsidenten Rafael Correa - Eine Analyse mit dem Schwerpunkt Geschlecht und soziale Hierarchie: Das nonverbale Verhalten des ecuadorianischen Präsidenten Rafael Correa - Eine Analyse mit dem Schwerpunkt Geschlecht und soziale Hierarchie

Müller, Olga 25 November 2014 (has links)

High-frequency tectonic sequences in the Campanian Castlegate Formation during a transition from the Sevier to Laramide orogeny, Utah, U.S.A.

Cross, David B 13 May 2016 (has links)
Though stratigraphic correlations are abundant in the Cordilleran basin-fill, they rarely include along-strike transects providing a spatio-temporal sense of deformation, sediment-supply and subsidence. A new, high-resolution, regional strike-correlation of the Castlegate Formation reveals progressive northward-growth of the San Rafael Swell during two embryonic episodes of Laramide-style deformation in central Utah. The intrabasinal deformation-events produced gentle lithospheric-folding punctuated by erosional-truncation of upwarped regions. The earliest episode occurred at 78 Ma in the southern San Rafael Swell likely causing soft-sediment deformation and stratal-tilting. Following this the alluvial-plain was leveled and rapid, extensive-progradation took place. A second episode, at 75 Ma, where deformation was focused in the northern San Rafael Swell, also caused sediment-liquefaction and erosional beveling. The stratal-tilting and sediment-liquefaction is attributed to seismicity induced by basal-traction between a subducting flat-slab and continental-lithosphere. The south-to north time-transgression of uplift is spatio-temporally consistent with NE-propagation of an oceanic-plateau subducted shallowly beneath the region.

Carta de Rafael Sanzio - Castiglione ao Papa Leão X e sua importância para o estudo da arquitetura e do urbanismo do período do renascimento / Letter of Rafael-Castiglione to Pope Leo X

Souza, Maria Luiza Zanatta de 16 October 2006 (has links)
The purpose of this dissertation is to present a study about the text kn own as Letter of Rafael - Castiglione to Pope Leo X and its implications. During three years, we have had the pleasure and opportunity to obtain from Professor Luciano Migliaccio a series of precious texts which had the objective of studying the so calle d Letter of Leo X. According to Christof Thoenes, the letter establishes a preface, in the form of a dedication of a Blueprint of Rome , elaborated by Rafael. That is, a corpus of settings and graphic reconstruction of the buildings of ancient Rome. His authorship takes us to the greatest names of the Italian Renaissance, once the document is of great interest to various fields, such as, history of architecture, urbanism, the history of the theories and didactics of architecture and the history of architectural design, whether in a technical -practical manner (the use of the compass, for instance, in constructing buildings), or in theory (the significance of three dimensional objects in the plan), as well as the history of antiquary and archeological stud ies. In addition to this, the document is fundamental inside the political program of the papacy of Pope Leo X, in the beginning of the XVI th century. This text, which can be found in three versions, was studied exhaustively, enabling various readings and, after the publication of Francesco Di Teodoro, it had its dating and paternity practically clarified. As for the paternity, the letter was signed in name of Rafael, however it is the result of a collective job the draft, the style, along with a great deal of the thoughts expressed about antiquity, the monuments, their custody and history, were the work of Baldassare Castiglione. It was of great interest to us to comprehend that this letter was the preface of an even greater project of Pope Leo X who inten ded, through the work of Rafael and the development of illustration and engraving techniques, to present ancient Rome in an illustrated book, that is, a map of the city. This advertisement to the world of the image of Imperial Rome as the legitimate headquarters of the church would therefore be associated to the valorization of the role of Pope Leo X as tutor of ancient monuments. However, this should not be interpreted as a material reconstruction of the buildings, but as a proposal to maintain their memor y by means of graphic reconstruction, before their complete disappearance.

The Fragmentation of the Indigenous Movement in Ecuador. : Perspectives on the Tension between Class and Ethnicity

Egberg, Mårten January 2011 (has links)
Since the first years of the 21st century, the Ecuadorian indigenous movement, classified as the most overwhelming social actor since its emergence in the mid 1980s, finds itself in crises, with its principal organizations marked by tensions and conflicts. With a departure in the fragmentation of the indigenous movement, the context of the study is the impact of issues related to the concepts of class and ethnicity. In order to achieve a deeper understanding of the topic, the approach is based on a comparative study of different historical periods. The theoretical part of the study mainly focuses on analysing the concept of social movement in relation to indigenous movement. By comparing different periods, the study seeks to demonstrate that the inter-relationship between class and ethnicity has changed due to the context. For example, the revival of once-impotent leftist parties and movements has altered the relations of power and the incentives that strucktured past linkages between the indigenous movement and the political left. Thus, due to the meteoric rise of Rafael Correa and his radical political project, the indigenous movement is confronted with a new kind of challenge. In this context, the concepts of plurinationality and interculturality have emerged and further polarized the positions both between the left and the indigenous movement and between the two indigenous organizations: CONAIE and FENOCIN. In light of these aspects, the ambition of this study is to emphasize the importance of highlightning the concepts of class and ethnicity, when analysing the cause of the current fragmentation of the indigenous movement in Ecuador.

In this dissertation, we aim to investigate the meaning of human existence based on Sartre’s philosophy, precisely on his work “Being and Nothingness” (1943). Starting with the philosopher comprehension about the human reality, that the existence precedes the essence, thus, it’s not possible for this kind of being to depend on prior meanings before its existence. We’ll search, with this bottom support, to ask the conditions of possibilities which the meaning of human existence rises and its self-constituted. At last, if the meanings are not given previously, it’s proper to question how they are done. Intending to investigate the meanings, therefore, we’ll seek to show along this text, the conditions of existence of the Being-for-itself and its relation with the world – this relation will show itself extremely fundamental for the constitution of the meaning.

Female Development Amidst Dictatorship in Julia Alvarez's In the Time of the Butterflies and Mario Vargas Llosa's La fiesta del Chivo

Call, Serena Eileen 24 November 2010 (has links) (PDF)
Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo (ruled 1930-1961) developed the reputation as one of the most violent and oppressive leaders of the Western Hemisphere in his thirty-one years of power. Authors Julia Alvarez and Mario Vargas Llosa provide insight into the effects of Trujillo's infamy by sharing the stories of Dominican women. In Alvarez's novel, In the Time of the Butterflies, the Dominican-American author fictionalizes the lives of the Mirabal sisters, historical women who were assassinated in 1961 for their involvement in the anti-Trujillo movement. Likewise, Vargas Llosa centers much of his novel, La fiesta del Chivo, on the life of Urania Cabral, a fictional female character who is raped by Trujillo at the age of fourteen. Both the Mirabals and Urania grow up amidst dictatorship and Alvarez and Vargas Llosa frequently focus on their characters' growth as they progress from childhood and adolescence into adulthood. This formative time in the protagonists' lives is often impacted by Trujillo and his actions. In particular, Alvarez and Vargas Llosa emphasize the unique process of female identity formation as a means of highlighting the cruelty of the Trujillo dictatorship. Female development is often described as a process that focuses on connection and relationships to others. As a result, women often demonstrate a high ability to respond to the needs and feelings of the people in their lives. Alvarez's depiction of the Mirabal sisters reflects these principles as her characters mature into strong women by learning the value of selflessly caring for others. The Mirabals' concern for people contrasts to Trujillo's character, which Alvarez portrays as violent, selfish and petty. Conversely, Vargas Llosa's protagonist experiences a traumatic event at the age of fourteen that severely inhibits her growth. As a result of Trujillo's cruelty Urania loses her ability to connect with others and becomes cold and distant. Urania's developmental obstacles reflect the debilitating effects dictatorship can have on individuals, and by extension, on a whole nation. In both In the Time of the Butterflies and La fiesta del Chivo the concept of female development shapes and informs the portrayal of Rafael Trujillo and his corrupt government.

Espinal Velasquez, Cindy Johana 27 March 2022 (has links)
The present study proposes as a problem "What is the Rafael Bisquerra's model contribution to the emotional education in early childhood education?”. Given the spread of a set of social problems and a high rate of violence, there is evidence of a lack of management and control emotions, which are not being sufficiently heeded by the educational system, nor by society. According to this need, the contributions made by Bisquerra become relevant, who from his line of research related to emotions states that, being emotions so complex and having a multidimensional approach, it is necessary educate them from childhood and throughout life. According to this section, two objectives are proposed, the first is set the importance of emotional education in early childhood education and the second, describe the main contributions of Rafael Bisquerra's emotional education model to early childhood education. As part of this study, the recognition and importance of emotions in evolutionary development from childhood is highlighted, as the development of a model based on five competencies that will allow a positive emotional climate, for a better adaptation in the social context and overcome the challenges of life that favors the development of personality of children. For the development of this research, it is important to note that this thesis has a qualitative research approach, that is, a documentary review.
