La industria de confección textil tiene gran relevancia, particularmente en los países en desarrollo como Perú, ya que ocupa el segundo lugar con respecto al sector que más aporta al PBI en el ámbito manufacturero. En el 2019 los problemas del sector textil representaron el 19% del sector manufacturero, de los cuales el 25.4 % eran problemas de trastornos musculo esqueléticos (TME), esto debido a las malas prácticas y un inadecuado diseño de estaciones de trabajo. La importancia de trabajar en un adecuado ambiente laboral está relacionada directamente a la prevención de Desórdenes Músculo Esqueléticos (DME) y a las Ausencias Laborales. En varios estudios se señala la importancia de un adecuado diseño, así como el correcto uso de metodologías ergonómicas, para poder evaluarlos y validarlos; sin embargo, estos se enfocan en la validación de la metodología y no del proceso que abarca desde la formulación de propuestas hasta la validación de estas. Es por ello, que el presente estudio está enfocado en un modelo de rediseño de estación de trabajo que abarca desde las propuestas de diseño hasta la validación del mismo; utilizando técnicas ergonómicas observacionales como REBA, RULA, NIOSH y SNOOK Y CIRIELLO, y herramientas de ingeniería como Sistema de Manipulación de Materiales (SMM), Estudio de Métodos, Técnica de Interrogatorio Sistemático (TIS) y Economía de Movimientos. Como resultados se obtuvieron un 51.68 % de reducción de los TME en los puestos de trabajo de Tendido, Remalle y en el proceso de Abastecimiento de Rollo; asimismo, una reducción de 364 horas de ausentismo y un ahorro de 6,000 soles por año aproximadamente. / The textile industry is highly relevant, particularly in developing countries such as Peru, as it ranks second place with respect to the sector that contributes the most to GDP in the manufacturing field. In 2019, textile sector problems represented 19% of the manufacturing sector, of which 25.4% were problems of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD), this due to bad practices and an inadequate design of workstations. The importance of working in a suitable work environment is directly related to the prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) and Work Absences. Several studies point out the importance of an adequate design, as well as the correct use of ergonomic methodologies, to be able to evaluate and validate them; however, these focus on the validation of the methodology and not on the process that ranges from formulating proposals to validating it. For this reason, this study focuses on a model of redesign of the workstation that ranges from design proposals to validation of the same; using observational ergonomic techniques such as REBA, RULA, NIOSH and SNOOK AND CIRIELLO, and engineering tools such as Materials Handling System (MHS), Method Study, Systematic Interrogation Technique (SIT) and Movement Economics. As a result, a 51.68% reduction of the MSD was obtained in the jobs of “Tendido”, “Remalle” and in the process of “Abastecimiento de Rollo”; likewise, a reduction of 364 hours of absenteeism and a saving of 6,000 soles per year approximately. / Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional

Esta tesis propone un escenario de solución ante la existente congestión vehicular en el cruce de la avenida Velasco Astete con avenida Primavera situada en el distrito de San Borja límite con Surco. Teniendo en cuenta la demanda y oferta vehicular actual, y las características geométricas que esta intersección y sus calles colindantes poseen. Asimismo, se evaluó el comportamiento del cruce estudiado bajo el recién implementado plan de restricción vehicular “pico y placa”. Dicho plan efectivamente alteraba el flujo vehicular, a pesar de no ser una vía afectada por esta medida, se concluyó que afectaba indirectamente el flujo vehicular. Cabe resaltar que el único propósito de evaluar las condiciones de este plan de restricción vehicular era para recolectar la información de campo, con la mayor veracidad posible y obtener resultados exactos y reales. Una vez recogida toda la información en campo, se analizaron diversos parámetros, para poder obtener valores como el nivel de servicio y las demoras de la intersección en estudio. Habiendo obtenido los resultados de las condiciones actuales de la vía, se evaluaron los posibles planes de mitigación para mejorar las condiciones de servicio del área de estudio. Optando por un rediseño geométrico en colaboración con una semaforización coordinada en el cruce de la avenida de la Floresta y calle Monte Pío con avenida Primavera. Se obtuvo una mejora notoria tanto para el nivel de servicio como para las demoras, en el cruce estudiado, sin tener que sacrificar la fluidez existente en el cruce nuevo aperturado. / This thesis proposes a solution scenario to the existing vehicular congestion at the intersection of Velasco Astete Avenue and Primavera Avenue located in the district of San Borja bordering Surco. Considering the current demand and vehicle offer, and the geometric characteristics that this intersection and its adjoining streets have. Likewise, the behavior of the studied crossing was evaluated under the newly implemented “Pico y Placa” vehicle restriction plan. This plan effectively altered the vehicle flow, despite not being a road affected by this measure, it was concluded that it indirectly affected the vehicle flow. It should be noted that the only purpose of evaluating the conditions of this vehicle restriction plan was to collect the field information, as accurately as possible and obtain accurate and real results. Once all the information was collected in the field, various parameters were analyzed, in order to obtain values ​​such as the level of service and the delays of the intersection under study. Having obtained the results of the current road conditions, the possible mitigation plans were evaluated to improve the service conditions of the study area. Opting for a geometric redesign in collaboration with a coordinated traffic light at the intersection of Avenida de la Floresta and Monte Pío Street with Primavera Avenue. A noticeable improvement was obtained in the studied crossing, not only for level of service but for the delays too, without having to sacrifice the fluidity existing in the newly opened crossing. / Tesis

This thesis aims to improve a scheduling application’s usability and accessibility by redesigning its interface and implementing it using the Contentful App framework. The application is being used by employees at the company Aktiebolaget Trav Galopp. The existing application is described as difficult and time consuming to use. The Contentful App Framework enables developers to build custom applications and integrations on top of the Contentful content platform. It empowers them to extend content workflows, automate tasks, and enhance collaboration with features like UI extensions and Application Programming Interfaces (API). A heuristic evaluation identifies key areas for improvement, focusing on memorization of dates and times. Three design proposals are developed. Design 1 aims to create a centralized view of dates and times, but implementation limitations prevent its realization. Design 2 introduces a custom component within the Hero Container, providing a practical solution for viewing and editing dates and times. Design 3 represents recreating the existing application in the app framework. Evaluation of the implemented application reveals positive aspects, such as clear presentation of relevant information. Limitations are identified, including the inability to restrict referenced component types and inflexibility in rearranging item order. An automatic unlinking mechanism is implemented to mitigate errors in component linking. Significant improvements are achieved in usability and accessibility. Valuable insights are gained through the heuristic evaluation, emphasizing the benefits of the Contentful App framework. The importance of designing with flexibility in mind and addressing limitations during design and implementation is highlighted. Future work recommendations include exploring alternative designs within Contentful SDK limitations, addressing restrictions on referenced component types, and introducing flexibility in rearranging item order. User testing and feedback collection will further refine usability and address remaining issues. This thesis contributes to improving scheduling application usability, providing insights for future research and development efforts. / Syftet med denna avhandling var att förbättra en schemaläggningsapplikations användbarhet och tillgänglighet genom att förbättra dess gränssnitt och implementera det med Contentfuls App-ramverket. Tre designförslag utvecklades med fokus på att minska mängden datum och tider som en användare behöver memorera. Den implementerade applikationen visade många positiva aspekter, såsom tydlig presentation av information. Begränsningar identifierades även, såsom oförmågan att ändra ordning schemat. Rekommendationer för framtida arbete inkluderar att utforska alternativa designlösningar, hantera begränsningar och genomföra användartester för ytterligare förbättringar. Denna avhandling bidrar till att förbättra användbarheten hos schemaläggningsapplikationer och ger insikter för framtida forskning och utveckling.
