Conceptual Variability Management in Software Families with Multiple Contributors

Gollasch, David 11 May 2016 (has links) (PDF)
To offer customisable software, there are two main concepts yet: software product lines that allow the product customisation based on a fixed set of variability and software ecosystems, allowing an open product customisation based on a common platform. Offering a software family that enables external developers to supply software artefacts means to offer a common platform as part of an ecosystem and to sacrifice variability control. Keeping full variability control means to offer a customisable product as a product line, but without the support for external contributors. This thesis proposes a third concept of variable software: partly open software families. They combine a customisable platform similar to product lines with controlled openness similar to ecosystems. As a major contribution of this thesis a variability modelling concept is proposed which is part of a variability management for these partly open software families. This modelling concept is based on feature models and extends them to support open variability modelling by means of interfaces, structural interface specifications and the inclusion of semantic information. Additionally, the introduction of a rights management allows multiple contributors to work with the model. This is required to enable external developers to use the model for the concrete extension development. The feasibility of the proposed model is evaluated using a prototypically developed modelling tool and by means of a case study based on a car infotainment system.

Assim, o saber procurado nesse trabalho se baseia em uma performance específica, um movimento a entrelaçar vibrações de fruidor e obra, desenhando imagens sensoriais e dinâmicas / This work has as its object the analysis of the album Fantasia leiga para um rio seco (1981), of Elomar Figueira Mello, putting in dialogue the different languages that it consists - textual units, sound and visual. In order to achieve a critical analysis of the work, we propose a methodology that begins with experience to then reach more general discussions. Therefore, we use theoretical analyzes and notions about the experience, knowledge of experience and aesthetic experience, from which the albumfruitions readings are held. Through perspective brought by theoretical considerations, the read-hearing is seen as an oscillation between presence effects and effects sense, sensuousness and cognition, which always depend on a specific moment of intensity, a spectator, a memory, a body . Thus, the knowledge that is sought about Fantasia leiga is dynamic, is always among the readable and unreadable, not intending then retrieve a unique and stable meaning. It is the place of "between" and belongs to the knowledge of experience, the place of the individual, the subject, the human. Thus, the knowledge sought in this work is based on a specific performance, a movement to connect vibrations of spectator and work, drawing sensory and dynamic images

(Rubiaceae), endemic to New Caledonia : Semisynthesis of cycloartane, dammarane et flavonoid derivatives

Phytochemical studies of glutinous exudate covering the buds et the leaf base of Gardenia urvillei Montrouz. et Gardenia oudiepe Vieill., Rubiaceaeous species endemic to New Caledonia, have led to the identification of twelve cycloartanes, nine seco-cycloartanes, eight dammaranes et seven flavonoids. Among these secondary metabolites, six cycloartanes, four seco-cycloartanes et two dammaranes are original natural products. Biological evaluations, such as search for anti-angiogenic properties or inhibition of tubulin polymerization, have shown promising results. In order to establish the structure-activity relationships for these activities, twenty-six analogs were semisynthesized from the major isolated compounds, oudiépone A, hydroxydammarénone II, santin, 5,7-dihydroxy-3,3’,4’,5’,6-pentamethoxyflavone et kaempferol.

Integrated Management of Variability in Space and Time in Software Families

Seidl, Christoph 14 March 2017 (has links) (PDF)
Software Product Lines (SPLs) and Software Ecosystems (SECOs) are approaches to capturing families of closely related software systems in terms of common and variable functionality (variability in space). SPLs and especially SECOs are subject to software evolution to adapt to new or changed requirements resulting in different versions of the software family and its variable assets (variability in time). Both dimensions may be interconnected (e.g., through version incompatibilities) and, thus, have to be handled simultaneously as not all customers upgrade their respective products immediately or completely. However, there currently is no integrated approach allowing variant derivation of features in different version combinations. In this thesis, remedy is provided in the form of an integrated approach making contributions in three areas: (1) As variability model, Hyper-Feature Models (HFMs) and a version-aware constraint language are introduced to conceptually capture variability in time as features and feature versions. (2) As variability realization mechanism, delta modeling is extended for variability in time, and a language creation infrastructure is provided to devise suitable delta languages. (3) For the variant derivation procedure, an automatic version selection mechanism is presented as well as a procedure to derive large parts of the application order for delta modules from the structure of the HFM. The presented integrated approach enables derivation of concrete software systems from an SPL or a SECO where both features and feature versions may be configured.

Estudo comparativo da produção de extrato seco de ´Bauhinia forficata` Link pelos processos ´spray-dryer` e leito de jorro / A comparative study of the production of dried extract of Bauhinia forficata Link by the spray-dryer and the spouted bed processes.

Souza, Claudia Regina Fernandes de 30 May 2003 (has links)
This work presents the development of an experimental methodology aiming to the production of standardized dried extracts of Bauhinia forficata Link. An experimental planning of three factors and three levels type Box-Behnken and multi-response analysis were used in the optimization of the extraction process. Two different drying processes were studied: the spouted bed and the spraydrying processes. The objective was the evaluation of the viability and of the performance of both dryers for the production of dry extract. The investigated parameters were the percentile ratio between the mass feed flow rate of extractive solution to the system by the evaporation capacity of the dryer, (Ws/Wmáx), the inlet temperature of the drying gas, (Tge), the position of the atomization system in the spouted bed (top spray and bottom spray) and the mass flow rate of the drying gas used in the spray-dryer, (Wg). The operational performance of the dryers was evaluated mainly by the productivity, thermal efficiency of the process, rate of volumetric evaporation, ratio between the mass of air used by the mass of evaporated water and by the product recovery rate. The dried product was characterized by the particle size distribution, particles morphology, moisture content, flavonoid degradation rate (chemical marker), and by evaluation of pharmacotechnical properties. The results reported show that the spouted bed process presented a significant superiority in all parameters evaluated relative to the spray-drying process, for the configurations and operational conditions investigated. These results lead to the conclusion that the spouted bed process is an alternative technologically viable for the production of dry extracts of medicinal Brazilian plants, presenting high thermal efficiency and productivity, yielding a product of high quality and commercial value.

Ocorrência de óxidos de colesterol e análise do perfil lipídico em camarão salgado-seco / Occurrence of cholesterol oxides and lipid profile in salted and dried shrimp

Sampaio, Geni Rodrigues 05 April 2004 (has links)
Foods submitted to technological processes that require high temperature present a great potential for production of cholesterol oxides (COPs). Several evidences have indicated that COPs are potentially cytotoxic, atherogenic, mutagenic, and carcinogenic. In sea food, the cholesterol oxidation is favored by the presence of unsaturated fatty acids and high cholesterol levels. The salted-dried shrimp is particularly susceptible to the formation of COPs due to its lipidic composition, the processing and storage conditions. The objective of this work was to determine the occurrence of cholesterol oxidation products and to analyze the lipidic profile in salted-dried shrimp. Fifty samples of salted-dried shrimp were evaluated, and the cholesterol oxides were quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Cholesterol and COPs (7ß-hydroxycholesterol, 7?- hydroxycholesterol, 7-Ketocholesterol and 25- hydroxycholesterol) were simultaneously analyzed. The fatty acids profile was determined by gas chromatography, and for the evaluation of lipidic oxidation the TBARS method was used. The results indicated that the samples contained: 7ß-OH (34.63-72,56 µg/g), 7?-OH (5.02-12.12µg/g), 7-Keto (7.44-32.68 µg/g) and 25-OH (2.37-22.88 µg/g). These data indicated that 7?-OH was the predominant product. The amount of COPs in the samples varied considerably, ranging from 4.52 to 77.30 µg/g. Regarding to the total cholesterol content and the average concentration of TBARS, the results varied from 73.88 to 247.69 mg/100g, and 0.023 to 1.30 mgMA/Kg, respectively. The fatty acids profile was: 27.48% saturated, 43.90% monounsaturated and 28.61% polyunsaturated. This study indicated that the samples were oxidized, by the presence of COPs and the values of TBARS as well. Such oxidation was probably initiated under inadequate conditions of processing and storage. These results reinforced the need of revaluation of the fishing handling procedures, particularly the salted-dried shrimp, including all the stages - from the capture to the de shelf-life determination, in order to minimize the oxidative reactions.
