Syftet med mitt arbete är att få en djupare kunskap om rollen som sjukhuslärare, vadden innebär, hur den och hur undervisningen som sjukhusläraren bedriver har förändratsi ett historiskt perspektiv. Jag har försökt besvara mina frågeställningar, vilka är: Hurhar yrkesprofessionen förändrats under tiden 1958-2005? Hur fungerar undervisningenoch hur har den förändrats under samma tid?Jag har gjort en empirisk undersökning genom att intervjua två nu verksammasjukhuslärare och två pensionerade sjukhuslärare. Det framkommer hur sjukhusskolanstartade, vad en vanlig arbetsdag kan innebära för sjukhusläraren och hur den förkortadevårdtiden har påverkat professionen.

This study examines how a hospital chaplain, a children therapist, the therapy group Children in grief and a hospital teacher use words in their activities with mourning children and adults. The aim of this study was to learn more about bibliotherapy, how words can assist in diminish the distress of being in a very stressful situation such as grief and sickness. Beneficial to the whole community, bibliography can also be used by libraries as a preventive tool to promote mental health. The research questions studied were: What do you think about bibliotherapy and do you consider bibliotherapy as a part of your work in your clinic? How do you use texts in your activities? How do you select suitable literature for your clients? The focus was not upon which literature used. To examine these questions semi-structured interviews were conducted. The interviews took place at Växjö Hospital during March 2017. Through the interviews the answers have been showing the forms of activities used to soothe the suffering for children and adults, and how important the reading is as a complement to their other therapies. None of the interviewees used the term bibliotherapy, but the study shows that they all use bibliotherapy in different forms: creative bibliotherapy, informal bibliotherapy and clinical bibliotherapy.

Syfte och frågeställningar: Det övergripande syftet med denna studie är att få en förståelse för sjukhusundervisningen. Detta innebär att denna studie handlar om hur undervisningen ut-formas och vad som påverkar sjukhuslärarens undervisning, samt få en förståelse för hur äm-net idrott och hälsa bedrivs på sjukhusskolan. Syftet mynnade ut i tre frågeställningar: 1. Vilka faktorer påverkar sjukhuslärarens undervisning? 2. Använder sig sjukhusläraren av id-rott och hälsa i undervisningen och vad har de för erfarenhet av fysisk aktivitet i undervis-ningen? 3. Vilka möjligheter och begränsningar upplever sjukhuslärarna när det gäller att bed-riva undervisning som innehåller fysisk aktivitet? Metod: Metoden är intervju där intervjuernas karaktär är semistrukturerade. Urvalet är base-rad på ett strategiskt urval av deltagare. Urvalskriteriet är att läraren är verksam på en sjuk-husskola. Studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt är läroplansteori och ramfaktorteori. Resultat: Resultatet visar att fem faktorer påverkar undervisningen vid sjukhusskolan. Dessa faktorer är elevgrupp, utformning, lokal, innehåll och tid. Majoriteten av lärarna vid sjukhus-skolor använder sig inte av idrott och hälsa vid undervisning. De tillfällen fysisk aktivitet an-vänds varierar. Elevens sjukdomstillstånd och lokaltillgång anser lärarna vara de faktorer som påverkar möjligheten att bedriva undervisning som innehåller fysisk aktivitet. Slutsats: Undervisningen vid sjukhusskolan formas i huvudsak av det som elevens hemskola ålägger. Svenska eller svenska som andraspråk, matematik och engelska får stort utrymme i undervisning. Fysiska ramar, reglerande ramar samt transformeringsprocess och realiserings-process påverkar undervisningen vid sjukhusskolan / Aim: The overall aim of this study is to get an understanding of hospital education. This means that this study is about how the teaching is designed and what affects the teacher’s tuition, as well to gain an understanding of how physical and health education is conducted at the hospital school. The purpose was expressed in three questions: 1. What factors affect the teaching of the hospital teacher at the hospital school? 2. Does the hospital teacher use physical and health education when teaching and what experience do the teachers have for physical activity when they're teaching? 3. What opportunities and limitations do the hospital teachers experience for physical activity? Method: The study material is collected via semistructured interviews. The selection is based on a strategic selection of participants. Selection criteria are based on that the teacher works at a hospital school. The theoretical starting point of this study is curriculum theory and frame-work factor theory. Results: The results show the five factors are affecting the teaching at the hospital school. These factors are student group, design, local, content and time. The majority of teachers at the hospital school do not use physical and health education when they’re teaching. The occasions when teachers uses physical activity vary. The children's state of sickness and local access con-sider teachers to be the factors that affect possible use of physical education. Conclusion: Teaching at the hospital school is essentially based on what the student's home school imposes. Swedish or Swedish as a second language, Mathematics and English gets a large focus when teaching at the hospital school. Physical frameworks, regulatory frameworks as well as transformation and realization processes affect the teaching at the hospital school.

Abstrakt Syftet med föreliggande studie är att öka kunskapen om sjukhuslärarnas erfarenheter om samverkan mellan sjukhusskola och elevens ordinarie skola under det praktiska specialpedagogiska arbetet med sjuka elever. Resultatet har analyserats utifrån Symbolisk interaktionsteori. Studiens empiriska material samlades in med kvalitativa intervjuer med sjukhuslärare. Resultatet visade att samverkan mellan sjukhusskolan och den ordinarie skolan oftast fungerar bra och är till nytta för den sjuka eleven. Resultatet visade även att många sjukhuslärare möter rektorer och annan skolpersonal som inte vet vad sjukhusskolan innebär och till en början inte heller förstår sitt eget ansvar gentemot den sjuka eleven. Studien visar även att kommunikation är det viktigaste verktyget för en fungerande samverkan.
