Problematika sexuality v Pentateuchu / Problems of the Lechery and Adultery in the Pentateuch

CHOCOVÁ, Blanka January 2012 (has links)
The work deals with exegetic-ethical analysis of sexual motives in the Pentateuch. It aims to analyse as well as to systematize the issue of human sexuality in the Five Books of Moses, and to create a compact illustration of the problem. The major part of the work includes an analysis of sexual motives in significant legal regulations - the Ten Commandments, the Covenant Code, the Holiness Code and the Deuteronomic Code. However, the other parts of the Pentateuch must not be left out of consideration and are covered in a separate chapter. The final part tries to synthesize the obtained findings and evaluate systematically the basic sexual questions appearing in the Five Books of Moses.

Appaix, Sophie 10 December 2010 (has links)
Renovation of existing buildings is an important economic activity in our society, and a necessary one for the preservation of our heritage. While the Civil Code lays out specific rules governing contractual liability of the constructor (builder or contractor) and the sale of new buildings to be constructed, it does not recognize the legal existence of renovators. To account for this legal void, the jurisprudence assimilates renovation with construction if the former is considered “significant”. The objective of our study is to specify the qualifying criteria which define renovation and determine the applicable legal framework in terms of contractual liability of the renovator and the sale of buildings to be renovated by the seller. These criteria are still imprecise and unclear and it is necessary to clarify the rules which govern contractual liability of the renovator and to adapt the rules of the sale of buildings to be renovated by the seller to the economic realities of today.

The Relative Power of CFOs and Audit Committees and Choice of Audit Firm: Evidence from China

Unknown Date (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to examine whether the relative power of CFOs and audit committees has an effect on its firms’ choice of audit firms. Using a sample of Chinese listed firms during 2007~2016, I find that: (1) companies with more powerful CFOs are more likely to hire lower-quality auditors, as measured by non-top10 audit firm; (2) The effect of CFOs’ relative power on the choice of audit firms is weaker for state-owned enterprises than for private enterprises.

Existence bez existujícího / Existence without existent

Vaškovic, Petr January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to elucidate the ambiguous relation between the concepts of absolute alterity (tout Autre), there is (il y a) and the element (L'élément) in the work of Emmanuel Levinas. The investigation starts with a presupposition, that the above-mentioned concepts can all be considered a form of alterity. First part of the thesis thematises il y a against the backdrop of two seminal texts - From Existence to Existents and Time and the Other - and also in relation to Martin Heidegger's philosophy. Second part is structured around the analysis of the element, as it is presented in Totality and infinity. Part three deals with the concept of absolute alterity, which is contrasted to the conception of the totalizing subject. In the last part of the thesis, these three distinct kinds of alterity are brought into relation and qualitatively differentiated from one another. Key words: Levinas, Heidegger, alterity, radical alterity, totality, il y a, there is, element, From Existence to Existents, Totality and Infinity, Time and the Other

Mård Sundström, Martin January 2020 (has links)
Due to the lack of comparative studies referring to so-called values among the Jewish and Christian faith, the following study examines various interpretations of the Decalogue in the Hebrew Bible. These expositions originate from the Roman Catholic, Jewish and Reformed Evangelical tradition. Since the Ten Commandments have been considered influential in several traditions, this study attempts to identify their authority, purpose and status based on the writings of three different theologians. The analysis does not take the whole tradition itself into account, but seeks to discover diverse perspectives, in order to promote a nuanced result. Hence, the results neither speak for the entire denomination nor its believers. Furthermore, the approach of the study is an analysis of ideas, a commonly used method regarding statements of all kind, principally political and religious commentaries. The method endeavors to describe in order to supply further information not explicitly mentioned by the material itself. Thus, the analysis proceeds from theoretical perspectives such as the Euthyphro dialogue, Biblical hermeneutics and covenant. The theologians agree that morality originates from God because of God’s will. Yet there is disagreement regarding its purpose among all three authors. The Roman Catholic and Jewish author emphasize the covenant as a reason to honor the Ten Commandments and have a liberal approach combined with a historical-critical perspective of the Bible, whereas the Reformed Evangelical author expresses a conservative view, equating the Bible with the actual word of God. The Decalogue enjoys a higher status among the Christian authors, although the Roman Catholic author values the Golden Rule significantly more. The issue regarding whether the Decalogue ought to be treated as being above every other law remains unclear based on the material, but is highly more focused than other commandments in the Hebrew Bible. Definitively the study identifies uniting differences from a wide range of beliefs in the theological area.

Gröna leveranser : ett marknadsföringsperspektiv på leveransalternativ inom svensk e-handel / Green deliveries : a marketing perspective on delivery alternatives in Swedish e-commerce

Palm, Rebecca, Drasko, Virginia January 2021 (has links)
Background: In recent times, last mile deliveries have become critical as these deliveries are generally considered to be the most expensive, least efficient and most polluted part of the entire logistics chain (De Kervenoael, Schwob & Chandra 2020; McKinnon & Edwards 2009). Consumer demands for fast and flexible deliveries are not very easy to combine with the highest possible sustainability focus (PostNord 2018). By informing about different transport alternatives and vehicle types, the consumer gets the opportunity to influence their own environmental impact when making a purchase (Buldeo Rai, Verlinde & Macharis 2019). Despite the fact that companies today have better possibilities to share data about their environmental practices with the end customer, there is still a lack of such information on the website. Few companies adopt effective web-based communications that inform their stakeholders about their sustainable behaviors (Da Giau, Macchion, Caniato, Caridi, Danese, Rinaldi & Vinelli 2016).  Theory: A theoretical research model “Green web communication” has been developed based on the theories 3’C and OSEC. The theory ten signs of greenwash has also been applied to identify signs of greenwash.  Purpose and research question: The purpose of the study is to map out various alternatives for green marketing within the last mile, to increase the understanding of how ecommerce companies can influence consumers to a more conscious delivery choice. Furthermore, the paper aims to study how the web communication should be developed to avoid greenwashing. In order to answer the purpose, the following research questions have been formulated: How do e-commerce companies communicate green deliveries on the website? In what way can green web communication show signs of greenwashing? How is web communication presented in relation to what is expressed internally?  Methodology: To answer the research question a qualitative method was conducted with a constructivism approach. First a qualitative content analysis was performed on the website of sixteen e-commerce companies, divided into four different industries. The second method involved three semi-structured interviews with representatives of the selected companies Skincity, CDON and Ellos.  Conclusion: Communication about green deliveries appeared frequently at the e-commerce companies’ check-out compared with the information page, home page and group’s website. The representation of green commitments appeared in varying degrees in the form of eco-labels, symbols or information text. Furthermore, the green sustainability commitments were expressed in different ways where the content could be found in various green statements: climate compensation, CO2 emissions or green policy. The web communication also showed that transparency was lacking in far too many aspects as the communication could be identified as greenwashing in several cases. Greenwashing was identified when analyzing the green web communication in aspects of no proof and fluffy language. The internal communication from representatives of the e-commerce companies differed from the communication on the websites. This indicates a discrepancy between the internal and the external communication which neglects the e-companies sustainability commitments.
