Educação infantil e teatro: um estudo sobre as linguagens cênicas em propostas formativas, educativas e infantis da Rede Municipal de São Paulo/SP / Child education and theater: a study on the scenic languages in formative, educative and infantile proposals in the education system of the city of São Paulo/SP

Souza, Cibele Witcel de 12 September 2016 (has links)
This research sought to investigate the relationship between Child Education and Theater in the perspective of the Scenic Languages that have been conceived and constructed in formative, educative and infantile proposals in the education system of the city of São Paulo/SP. Starting with the analysis of the Course on Itineraries of learning in Child Education: theatrical practices, by Continued Training Program on Child Education conducted by the Education Department of the City of São Paulo/SP (SME/SP), called The networking in education system: continued training on Child Education, and some of its outcomes, as the Booklet Itineraries of learning in Child Education: theatrical practices, it was possible to take a close look at educative proposals of female teachers involved and at infantile proposals for young girls and boys. For such, the following procedures were carried out: field research in a Child Education Center (CEI) in the city of São Paulo, with observation of the educative working hours; eight semi-structures interviews of female teachers, educational coordinator and the supervisor from SME/SP, and with lecturers in the training course mentioned above; in addition to the collection and analysis of documents and other materials produced. The analysis of the data collected was conducted in an articulated fashion, in the light of the recent literature both in Brazil and abroad in the field of studies on Child Education, in interface with Social Science and Art in early childhood, and with theoretical production about Theater specially Performance and post-dramatic Theater , conceiving children as full, integral, complete subjects and the Scenic Languages as ways of knowing, creating, inventing, feeling, living and sharing different types of knowledge and cultures, as well as the professionals working in Child Education. The Training Course being investigated and its deployments, although they do not break away with the formative proposals that still disregard the prominence and the creativity of children, teachers, managers and trainers, brought forth some improvements and contributions that turned out to be emergent in the construction of a Pedagogy for Child Education based on Art, but it will only be able to be devised when and educative and infantile proposals are taken into consideration as they have been invented by teachers and, especially, by the young girls and boys, aided by the Scenic Languages.

Bedon, Peggy S. M. 12 1900 (has links)
The Inuit of Hudson’s Bay in Nunavik (Quebec) have distinguished themselves from other indigenous communities by re-asserting their autonomy over the care of pregnant women within their community. A strong sense of self-determination led to the abandonment of the practice of transferring pregnant women for delivery at hospitals far from their village and, in 1986, to the creation of a program to train midwives locally. In addition, this program tries to reinstate traditional practices alongside the teaching of modern obstetrics in order to offer women services which are both of high quality and culturally suitable. The aim of our study was to determine whether the training of indigenous midwives in Nunavik has helped to reconcile these two different approaches to teaching: one being the focus on traditional practices, and the other on standards of care. A qualitative research method was used with data collected by means of interviews. Respondents included five Inuit midwives from within the three Hudson’s Bay communities having local birthing centres, as well as six student midwives from the Nunavik midwifery program. Analysis of the data does not allow for confirmation of the reintegration of traditional knowledge in the practise of indigenous midwives. The results of this research reveal, in effect, a rarity of traditional practices being applied throughout the perinatal period (E.g. use of medicinal plants, positions used during delivery, various delivery manoeuvres). The beliefs or codes of conduct in respect to pregnancy seem to profit from a better transmission, but are not utilized equally within the communities. In regards to the modern obstetrics component, the program appears to be in conformity with current Western requirements, having been recognized by the Order of the Midwives of Quebec since September, 2008. Moreover, both midwives and students are conscious of the need to receive quality training in their field. They would like to profit from a greater rigor in the teaching of theory, as well as more continuity in the process of apprenticeship. The difficulty found in the teaching of these dual types of knowledge (traditional and modern) thus seems to relate more particularly to the area of traditional practices. Inuit midwives and students wish to protect and promote their cultural inheritance, but more within the perspective of community responsibility that within the framework of a training scheme. A collaboration between the wishes of the communities, concerning the rehabilitation of their cultural inheritance, and the current reality of bio-medicine, remains paramount in order to continue to guarantee the safety and the quality of the services provided.

Outcomes of Professional Development for Rural Community College Leaders

Thompson, William Thompson 01 January 2016 (has links)
To mitigate the loss of experienced administrators, community college leaders create internal grow-your-own (GYO) leadership development programs. Although the purpose of these programs is to ensure institutional efficacy by developing a pipeline of administrative and faculty leaders, little attention has been given to learning about the participants' post-program career advancement over time. Consequently, the value of GYO leadership training for participants is not well known. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to explore the post-program professional development of a group of participants 2 years after completing a rural community college GYO leadership program. The conceptual framework was guided by both the American Association of Community Colleges' Leadership competency model and situated learning theory. Research questions examined the leadership knowledge, skills, and behaviors the participants acquired from their training and how these knowledge, skills, and abilities were being used. Data sources included interviews of a cohort of 10 GYO leadership participants, leadership institute artifacts, and human resources documents, which were used for triangulation of the data. A constant comparative analysis methodology was used to identify themes. Research findings indicated that the participants most often applied their communication, collaboration, and advocacy knowledge and skills in their respective jobs, interests, and professional development over time. Academic and other leaders can use the research results to create positive social change by offering GYO leadership training programs to promote the advancement of the institution's mission, thereby improving the lives of the students and the health of the community.

Bundesfördermittel helfen Flutfolgeschäden zu beseitigen

Vogel, Michael, Blücher, Eberhard 17 March 2011 (has links) (PDF)
– In: BIS. – 3(2010)4, S. 223 – 224).

VACKOVÁ, Ludmila January 2008 (has links)
My thesis is based on the possibilities of career growth in the field of banking. I will study the development of careers in two different but comparable financial institutions. The theoretical part of my thesis will focus on four types of career structures: full-time, part-time, full-time with management track, and irregular. In the following part of my thesis, I will show how these four types search for employment, develop their careers, and negotiate payment and benefits. In this thesis, I will compare the working conditions of two banks. Based on personal interviews, surveys, and observation, I have ascertained and graded the each bank for self-realization, work-study opportunities, business culture, and job satisfaction, relations between management and employees and company communications. I also studied the average length of an assignment, which is a good general indicator.

Treinamento de professores no manejo comportamental de cinco alunos com transtornos do espectro do autismo na condição de inclusão escolar / A training program for teachers about behavior manegeament to autism spectrum disorder in a regular school

Khoury, Laís Pereira 19 February 2013 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-03-15T19:40:06Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Lais Pereira Khoury.pdf: 1166537 bytes, checksum: 47ffa610b4fcac7a9ba674bc09cfa04f (MD5) Previous issue date: 2013-02-19 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Autism Spectrum Disorder is characterized by heterogeneous signs and symptoms that significantly affect the psychosocial adaptation of the patient. For instance, the absence of joint attention, communication deficit, social interaction, initiation of joint social attention, solicitation behaviors and behavior problems. Similar to other development disorders, children with ASD develop special educational needs (SEN) due to specific behavioral, cognitive, language and social adaptation clinical conditions. In Brazil there is a specific legislation that associates this clinical frame to the condition of a person with SEN. The set of all behavioral, communication, and language alterations observed in autism interferes in the insertion and adaptation of patients in the school environment. Scientific evidence about intervention strategies indicate that the behavioristic approach is one of the most beneficial to the improvement and appeasing of several problems typically associated with ASD (behavior problems, social skills, daily life skills, social communication, among others). The general objetctive of this study was to develop, implement and assess the efficiency of a training program for teachers on behavior management strategies for students with ASD. The project was developed in five elementary schools from the city of Barueri. The sample was composed of five students with ASD, age range 6 to 10 years old, enrolled in elementary schools in Barueri, and their respective teachers, totalizing 10 participants. The following tools were used: a) Wechsler 34 Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC III), b) Brazilian version of The Behavior Problems Inventory (BPI/01), c) Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC), d) Report of behavior observation, e) Questionnaire to verify teachers general knowledge on ASD. The study was carried out in three steps, Step I: initial assessment through the use of the aforementioned tools; Step II: intervention; Step III: post-intervention. The main results indicate a reduction of behavioral problems in all children, according to both behavioral assessment tests and according to behavioral problems rates recorded before and after the intervention. The indicators of behavioral problems that had the most reduced rates were aggressiveness, self-aggressiveness, and stereotypies. At the post-intervention step, new adequate and adaptive behaviors were recorded in the classroom setting. Teachers improved qualitatively their knowledge on ASD and, according to the results, they seem to have started the use of adequate behavioral management strategies with these students. The orientation guide proved to be efficient to the management of low cost contingencies. Data, though restricted to the sample, show that the use of the guide is feasible in the classroom setting.

This thesis aims to answer the following question: Programs offered by the Ministry of Education have influenced the practice of the teacher and consequently in student learning? Thus, aims to analyze the opinions of graduates of training courses of the National Pact for Literacy in the Age One (PNAIC) on the results and effects of teacher training offered by the program in the mining town of New Bridge (MG). For this work, they considered the training in English language and mathematics, as well as the Compact features in the period 2012 to 2015. We started from the premise that the continued training of teachers may cause changes in teaching practices that contribute to improving the quality of education. The choice of PNAIC as object is due to the program's scope in the national scene, and the research sought to follow the trajectory of the policy as a way to understand the conditions of its implementation in the city. Opting for New Bridge was made on the basis of professional experiences by the author - researcher in this place and especially the fact that the municipality require support from the Ministry of Education to facilitate teacher training. The discussion presented in the theoretical framework addresses the national policy of teacher training, in order to contextualize the subject of research and place your object. Later, discusses "How to train good teachers?", outlining, from this inquiry, a scope of features that have been interpreted as important and necessary for training quality process and assisted in the analysis of PNAIC training courses in this study. The theoretical foundations are based on the contributions of Antonio Novoa, Bernadette Angelina Gatti, Francisco Imbernon, Marli Eliza Damalzo Afonso André, among others. The development of the thesis, the methodological aspect, articulated the qualitative and quantitative approaches, making use of bibliographic research, documentary and field. For the fieldwork, data collection instruments used were individual interviews and group and questionnaire. Interpretation of the data was through content analysis and statistical analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Program (IBM SPSS). It can be said that the PNAIC reached the expected positive results and produced direct and indirect effects on the pedagogical practices of teachers and participants in the institutional setting, as opinions of graduates. However, it is worth noting that in 2016, new contours were given to the program. It is expected that the undertaken changes are in response to issues identified as negative by the participants of this research.
