MENDING ON DISPLAY is an exploration of how to involve people in mending and have it be incorporated into everyday life. This was done through mending workshops, investigative conversations and a window display exhibiting visibly mended clothes. With all the devastating news reporting on how the planet is rapidly changing for the worse, it’s important to show that there can be joy in striving towards sustainable solutions, and moving away from current fashion culture does not have to mean compromising on your personal expression. The two main collaborations in the project are with the people interacting with it, and the secondhand store Busfrö. For this type of workshop to engage people in mending it needs to regularly occur, a routine space where one can join in for example once a month in the same place. These places exist already but few know about them, we need more of these initiatives in different contexts in order to spread the engagement in the craft. In my work I invited others to join through workshops, but I also felt welcomed into a bigger context and community network where mending is the binding force.

Определено значение инновационных кластеров в обеспечении реального экономического роста, повышении эффективности производства, проанализирована роль и место инновационных кластеров в современной постиндустриальной экономике. Проанализированы факторы, приводящие к негативным результатам в реализации национальной инновационной кластерной политики. / Abstract master's thesis: the master's thesis investigated the existing approaches to defining the essence of clustering and clusters in the economy, backgrounds the analysis of the emergence and development of innovation clusters. Determine the value of innovation clusters in providing real economic growth, improve production efficiency, to examine the role and place of innovation clusters in modern post-industrial economy. It analyzes the factors that lead to negative results in the implementation of the national innovation cluster policy.

Объектом исследования является автотуризм в США, а также особенности самостоятельного автотуризма в США. Предметом исследования стали туристические достопримечательности США, а также проблемы и перспективы самостоятельного туризма в этой стране. Выпускная квалификационная работа выполнена с целью определения особенностей современного автотуризма в США. Указанная выше цель требует решения следующих задач исследования: определить особенности туризма в США и описать основные достопримечательности данной страны; описать виды туризма в США; изучить средства размещения туристов в США; проанализировать особенности инфраструктуры США и составить примерный маршрут самостоятельного дорожного путешествия по стране; найти и описать примеры самостоятельных дорожных путешествий по США; выявить современные проблемы и определить перспективные направления самостоятельных дорожных путешествий по США. Настоящее исследование включает в себя следующие структурные элементы: введение, две главы, разделенные на три параграфа каждая, заключение, список литературы и приложения. Введение содержит актуальность исследования, описывает цель, задачи, а также предмет, объект и методы исследования. Первая глава раскрывает специфику развития автотуризма в США, а именно: особенности туризма в США и достопримечательности страны, виды туризма в США и средства размещения туристов в США. Вторая глава исследования содержит в себе описание путешествия по популярным маршрутам США, в частности: особенности инфраструктуры США: дороги, транспорт, правила, цены, маршруты и описание некоторых маршрутов, примеры самостоятельных дорожных путешествий по США, а также описание современных проблем и перспективных направлений самостоятельных дорожных путешествий по США. В ходе исследования были сделаны следующие выводы: На сегодняшний день США имеет довольно развитую инфраструктуру и располагает огромным количеством достопримечательностей, мест размещения и питания для туристов, которые решили совершить свое путешествие по этой стране. Здесь можно найти места на любой вкус, интересы и финансовые возможности. США славится как национальным заповедниками и культурными достопримечательностями, так и бескрайними пляжами с развлекательными заведениями. Таким образом, исследованный опыт говорит о том, что автотуризм вполне приемлемый и довольно удобный способ путешествия. Кроме того, данный вид путешествий дает туристу право самому решать и выстраивать свой маршрут. / The object of the research is auto tourism in the United States, as well as the features of self-driving travel in the United States. The subject of the research was the tourist attractions of the United States, as well as the problems and prospects of independent tourism in this country. The final thesis was carried out to determine the characteristics of modern auto tourism in the United States. The above goal requires the acomplishing of the following research tasks: to determine the features of tourism in the United States and describe the main attractions of this country; describe the types of tourism in the United States; explore accommodation facilities for tourists in the United States; analyze the features of the US infrastructure and draw up an approximate route for an independent road trip around the country; find and describe examples of independent road travel in the United States; identify current problems and identify promising areas of independent road travel in the United States. This study includes the following structural elements: introduction, two chapters, divided into three sections each, conclusion, bibliography and appendices. The first chapter reveals the specifics of the development of auto tourism in the United States, namely: the peculiarities of tourism in the United States and attractions of the country, types of tourism in the United States and accommodation facilities for tourists in the United States. The second chapter of the study contains a description of travel along popular US routes, in particular: features of the US infrastructure: roads, transport, rules, prices, routes and descriptions of some routes, examples of independent road trips in the USA, as well as a description of modern problems and promising areas of independent road travel in the United States. During the study, the following conclusions were made. Today, the United States has a vastly developed infrastructure and has a huge number of attractions, accommodation and food for tourists who decide to make their trip to this country. Here you can find places for every taste, interests and financial capabilities. The USA is famous for its national reserves and cultural attractions, as well as endless beaches with entertainment facilities. Thus, the studied experience suggests that auto tourism is a completely acceptable and rather convenient way of traveling. In addition, this type of travel gives the tourist the right to decide and build his own route.

Суммарная масса образующегося электронного лома в России в настоящее время приближается к 1,5 млн. тонн ежегодно, перерабатывается из них около 5-7 %. Это создает предпосылки для создания в России крупномасштабного производства вторичных металлов для создания новой отрасли металлургической промышленности. Целью магистерской диссертации является разработка теоретико-методических основ к оценке эффективности и выявления тенденций переработки электронных отходов и лома. В качестве источников использовалась учебно-методическая и научно-исследовательская литература, результаты эмпирических исследований автора и данные предприятий. В магистерской диссертации был разработан методический подход к выбору направления переработки электронных отходов и лома, соотнесенный с тенденциями, включающий систему показателей для выбора способа и результаты их экономической оценки, алгоритм принятия решения о способе переработки, что позволит на основании полученных результатов выбрать приоритетные направления для инвестирования. / The total mass of generated electronic scrap in Russia is currently approaching 1.5 million tons annually, of which about 5-7% is processed. This creates the preconditions for the creation in Russia of a large-scale production of secondary metals for the creation of a new branch of the metallurgical industry. The purpose of the master thesis is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations for evaluating the effectiveness and identifying trends in the processing of electronic waste and scrap. The sources used were educational, methodological, and research literature, the results of the author's empirical research, and enterprise data. The master thesis developed a methodological approach to choosing the direction of processing electronic waste and scrap, correlated with trends, including a system of indicators for choosing the method and the results of their economic assessment, an algorithm for deciding on the method of processing, which will allow you to choose priority areas for investment based on the results obtained.

Anti-bullying policies are effective in reducing bullying victimization in secondary schools when they are written precisely, have a clear description of what bullying entails and how the school responds, and maintains a high priority through regular updating. Research on anti-bullying policies in the United Kingdom is not very extensive and has thus far only been done qualitatively. This research aims to utilize an in-depth content analysis to investigate trends and patterns within secondary schools anti-bullying policies in London, England. The purpose of this research is also to find preliminary results of the difference between public community schools and international schools. The documents are coded and counted systematically per keyword of each definition and then compared and averaged. The data was then analysed using descriptive statistics and compared by other school and policy characteristics, such as location of the school, the Ofsted educational inspectorate rating, the number of pages of the policy and when the policy was last updated. The findings of this research indicate that there is an underrepresentation of aspects of relational bullying, weight-based bullying, and the role of bystanders as stated in the policies. The main focuses in the selected policies are on the responsibility of school staff and parents, a reporting system and updating of the policy. This implies that anti-bullying policies should be improved further to include relational bullying, weight-based bullying, and the role of bystanders more. This study contributes to the field of International and Comparative Education by filling a research gap in the investigation of anti-bullying policies in England and providing an updated and quantitative insight into the status of these policies. This research also adds to the field by examining differences between community schools and international schools and comparing various school and policy characteristics, contributing to the understanding of how bullying is addressed by different types of schools.

A global strategic financial analysis of the luxury retail industry was conducted. The research entailed comprehensive analyses and forecasts of the global economy, the luxury retail industry and four of the most prominent, multi-national luxury goods firms in the world. These companies included: Coach, Michael Kors, Tiffany & Co., and LVMH Moet Hennessy, whom market among the world's finest personal luxury goods from handbags, clothing and accessories to diamonds, jewelry, watches, fragrances, cosmetics and wines. The macroeconomic analysis focused on factors pertinent to the luxury goods industry such as: (1) the lasting effects of the global financial crisis, our gradual emergence from the Great Recession and the impact these conditions have had on consumer spending and confidence; (2) the generational shift of consumers from the retiring baby boomers to the technologically savvy Generation Z and their unique demands for products as well as experiences; and (3) the growth and demand from emerging economies, especially China which is the globe's top luxury nationality accounting for 25% of all luxury purchases worldwide. Comprehensive financial ratio analyses, SWOT assessments, technical trends and forecasts of revenues, earnings and share prices for the four companies, resulted in recommendations to investors and advice to top management of the four firms. Luxury retail is a fascinating, recession resilient industry and it is expected to reach €1 trillion within the next 5 years. However, regardless of how successful firms in this industry have been in the past, to survive and continue to succeed, it is imperative that they remain flexible and adaptable in this ever-changing world.
