Anomálie na finančních trzích / Financial Market Anomalies

BUREŠ, Vladislav January 2016 (has links)
The first part of thesis describes the Efficient Market Theory, its characteristics and forms. Another theoretical approach are Behavioral Finances that can also explain the stock market price making. The main topic is Financial Market Anomalies that defy the Efficient Market Theory. Anomalies state that an investor is able to achieve above average profits in the long term regularly. The thesis is focused on two anomalies selected for further testing on the data of companies traded on German exchange Xetra. Data was obtained from Yahoo Finance and processed for statistical tests. Anomalies occurrence was scarce, therefore it cannot be said that an investor is able to achieve above average profits in the long term regularly.

First of all is "Are the users of a Day and Week Care Center prepared to procceed to comunity service of Safe Housing ?" and is solved by evaluation of necessary measure of support for users. The answer on researching question is that 4 users from 28 are able to procceed to comunity service of Safe Housing. For the answer on the second question "Is it possible to create comunity service in Jihlava in next 5 years ?" I try to find an answer throughout whole process of transformation project. I come up with a conclusion to answer that creation of comunity services is possible. Results of my thesis can be used for selected organization as the summary of selected process of transformation. Also results can be used as the source of information even for more social services providers and for public they are interested in.

The most important objective in the work is to present anthropological analysis about the mockery of Judas rite and the ritual process beyond local interpretations to rite. The concept presents in studies of Marcel Mauss, Henry Hubert and Ren? Girard about the sacrifice are very important to this paper. We work with this hypothesis that the Mockery of Judas is sacrifice done to residents of Rocas neighborhood to many purpose, since symbolic punishment to traitor apostle till the sacrifice of victm of conflicts and tensions inside the neighborhood / Esta disserta??o trata das representa??es elaboradas em torno do ritual da Malha??o do Judas num bairro da zona leste da cidade do Natal e das rela??es constru?das pelos moradores locais com o objeto ritual. Sistemas de atividades na divulgação científica universitária / Activity Systems in Science Communication from university

Iara Grotz Moreira de Vasconcellos 13 October 2015 (has links)
The National Science and Technology Week is an annual event that seeks to mobilize the population around issues of Science and Technology. Since its first edition, in 2004, the University of São Paulo promotes science communication through outreach activities. Although currently the model of \"science fair\" is the main strategy used by the university in most editions of the event, little is known beyond the number of visitors, schools and programs offered by museums and institutes at the fair. This study aims to investigate how the organization and execution of the event occurs and how the public interacts with the exhibitors. The qualitative research has the theoretical support of the Activity Theory, framework that allows complex interpretation of the phenomenon studied because of its historical-cultural approach. The focus of analysis is the systematization of the subjects Activities to locate contradictions and tensions, fundamental elements for the development of Expansive Learning Cycles. For that, semistructured interviews were conducted with exhibitors, organizers and a spokesman of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. The interaction of the public with the stands was recorded on audio and video. Data analysis allowed the construction of a model of the dominant activity of the event, that can be explained as a common activity to all those involved in the fair, characterized as Trading Activity between Science and Society. Also the Activities of the exhibitors, organizers and visitors were characterized. In the University Outreach Activity, carried out by the exhibitors, was possible to identify that the different subjects are at different levels of reflection about the work they do. The Event Production Activity, performed by the organizers, presented three Expansive Learning Cycles, showing a maturing organization. It was also possible to identify an interruption of this expansive learning. By analyzing the Activity of Visitation, it was possible to realize the importance of student interest prior to the decision to visit a stand. There were characterized types of interactions found in the stands as well as the objects used by exhibitors for the construction of the speech. These two elements allowed us to point out the differences in the duration of visits, and the combination of these determinants for attracting visitors to the stand and for their retaining. The identification of activities allowed the hierarchical construction of the Activity System, in which was observed as elements of Activities at lower levels were influenced by the transformed objects of the Activities of the upper levels. From the perspective of hierarchical levels of contradiction proposed by Engeström (1987), it was revealed the predominance of tertiary contradictions, those between the activities of a system, and primary contradictions, those that occur in an Activity element. As a contribution to the discussions for the Activity Theory, we propose four categories of contradictions that emerged from the event analysis: contradictions in the sphere of values conceptions; contradictions in the sphere of communication; contradictions of organizational character; and contradictions of political character

Deux villes, une fête. La semaine sainte dans le monde lusophone. Sào Joào del-Rei et Braga XVIIIème - XXIème siècles / Two cities, one celebration. The holy week in the lusophone world. São João del-Rei and Braga XVIII-XXI centuries

Campos Franco, Suely 27 January 2012 (has links)
This research is about the Holy Week’s religious celebrations wich have been practiced in São João del-Rei (Brazil) and Braga (Portugal), two Lusophone world’s cities, relying on both Anthropology and History. We intend to present the catholic celebration in these two societies which are influenced by the baroque culture from XVIII century till nowadays. In our research the Holy Week is comprehend as a social representation space as well as an identity assertion of these two societies. Our analysis focuses primarily on searching the cultural elements persistence in these celebrations that condense the social processes in contemporary society. We have tried to observe, in an objectivity way, the ruptures and the ceremonies constructions that have occurred in these celebrations practices and which are supposed to define new ceremonies meanings as a proof beyond the time seen as a deeply rooted social practice.

Missa chrismatis a její proměny ve dvacátém století: Porovnání změn v liturgii a v teologii / Missa chrismatis and Its Changes in the Twentieth Century: A Comparison of Changes in Liturgy and Theology

Němec, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
Missa chrismatis and Its Changes in the Twentieth Century: A Comparison of Changes in Liturgy and Theology. Missa Chrismatis (Chrism Mass) is a Mass that the bishop celebrates in the Holy Week, together with his priests, which is a sign of mutual unity. During this Mass, the priests renew their priestly vows and the bishop consecrates the oil of catechumens, the oil of the sick and the chrism oil. The ceremony underwent several changes over the past century. These are reflected also in the theology, expressed in the liturgy by emphasizing of certain elements. The major reforms of the liturgy of the Mass took place in several stages in the 50`s, 60`s and 70`s of the 20th century. First, the thesis follows the basics and reasons for the use of oils in the liturgy of the Catholic Church in the context of Easter and then the historical development of the Mass, in which the oils are consecrated. Also it clearly compares the progress of the Missa chrismatis liturgy and captures differences in the liturgical texts and texts of the rite of benediction of oils in the various phases of the reform of the twentieth century. On this basis, it attempts to render the evolution in theological content. Keywords Missa Chrismatis, Benediction of Holy Oils, Chrism, The Holy Week, Maundy Thursday, Liturgical Reform.

Jeppsson, Malin, Nyman, Elvira January 2019 (has links)
The main purpose of this study is to find out how social workers in the Swedish social services in three different municipalities experience working 35 hours per week instead of 40. The aspects of their experience that we will consider will be work situation, leisure and health. Through qualitative interviews with seven social workers, placed in three different municipalities, we have asked what their experience of working 35 hours per week is: how it affects their working situation and what impact it has had on their leisure and health. Our applied method for this study is the thematic analysis described by Braun and Clarke (2006). This resulted in five main themes connecting our informants answers to our main questions and one additional theme, describing the reasons to why the different municipalities have initiated the 35 hour working week. Our overall result suggests that 35 working hours per week has given positive effects which are described as a result of a more structured way of working and higher efficiency. Our informants also speak of lower stress, more time for recovery and more time spent with family and friends. We hope that this study can contribute to the development of social workers working situation.

King of the News: An Agenda-Setting Approach to the John Oliver Effect

Ryan, Kevin (Journalist) 08 1900 (has links)
Journalists have insisted that John Oliver has inspired a new kind of journalism. They argue that Oliver's show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has inspired real-world action, a phenomenon journalists have called the "John Oliver Effect." Oliver, a comedian, refuses these claims. This thesis is the result of in-depth research into journalists' claims through the lens of agenda-setting. By conducting a qualitative content analysis, I evaluated the message characteristics of framing devices used on Oliver's show, then compared those message characteristics to the message characteristics and framing devices employed by legacy media.
