Silva, Felippe dos Santos e 27 March 2015 (has links)
Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais / This work presents the development of a learning platform for testing the three-phase induction motors. The project is the implementation and automation of a mechanical bench for testing in electrical machines with power less than 5HP. The developed bench allows user interaction, gradual and assisted in all stages, ie, from the design of the electric machine to the experimental verification of the dynamic behavior of the tested machine. Teaching resources from educational are illustrated by the results obtained with the control of a dc machine operating as a generator driven by three-phase induction motor. With this stand it is possible to perform significant tests to determine the performance of electric motors, such as measuring voltages and stator currents, speed, torque and power on to the motor shaft, beyond the graphics of torque and current versus speed , power and efficiency versus applied load factor. To drive and processing of information obtained (measures), uses a data acquisition system controlled by an application developed specifically for this work in graphical programming using the \"LabVIEW \" software. The study was conducted in steps like the following description: literature review study of NBR 5383-1(2002) (Brazilian rules of electrical machines), study and simulation of induction motors, physical design of the bench, specification of sensors and equipment, assembly and implementation of the testing manager application. SELv : Sambandsemulator Luftvärn / ADDaLE : Air Defense Data Link Emulator

Olsson, Werner, Olofsson, Claes January 2015 (has links)
The field of emulation and simulation comprises of a broad spectrum of various levels and techniques that spans over both software and hardware paradigms. Written, from mainly an architectural point of view, this paper offers a brief study on sporadic topics related to this broad field which in a wholeness provides relevant and useful insights for the design of a general reference architecture for emulators. Special focus lies on the different components that an emulator comprises of and a parallel is drawn to the physical architecture of the modern computing machine with its well-known Von-Neumann architecture. The goal is to identify best architectural strategies for fulfilling flexibility, generality and functional applicability quality requirements. A narrowed down scope is however kept in mind for a prototype model that will be a hybrid consisting of the event-driven and time-critical paradigms. Different real world architectural examples are compared and modularity with regard to components is identified as a recurrent characteristic in all designs. One of the important findings we made is the inclusion of a state machine component, an important part which allows the event-driven system to function properly. This is with a weak coupled setup of various substates that together activate mainstates, which is in line with alterior thinking to Von Neumann-based systems.

Emulation of a manufacturing process : Focusing on maintenance and operator training

Tudero, Aitor, Azkue, Julen January 2017 (has links)
Having well-trained operators is a crucial need for Volvo Group Truck Operations (GTO). Mistakes from the factory staff may cause the production line to stop, and lead to economic losses. For this reason, Volvo GTO has decided to investigate the possibility of creating an emulation model from the production line and using it to train operators and maintenance personnel. The aim of this thesis is to develop an Operator Training Station (OTS) for the OP035 of the Volvo GTO Production Line 6. In the first part, a literature research was conducted, from which the authors gained insight into related fields such as emulation, virtual environments, and operator training. After that, an emulation model of theOP035 was created using some hardware from the factory. The real PLC program was analyzed and then modified in order to implement it to the emulation model. Then, communications were established between the different parts; emulation model and PLC program. Finally, a research of the common failures and problems of the production line was carried out, with the aim of being able to reproduce them in the Operator Training Station. Once the OTS was implemented, several tests had undergone to validate its behavior. These experiments verified that the emulation model was an accurate representation of the real system and validated its appropriateness for the operator training application

[en] In nineteenth-century Brazil, in addition to the development of a literature concerned with the national elements, it is possible to identify the translation of the classics in order to instruct the literate society. Manuel Odorico Mendes was significant for this movement, opting for the translation and emulation such as Virgil and Homer in order to use them as tools for a political-pedagogical project of formation. Odorico Mendes was the first integral translator of the Latin and Greek poets in Brazil and developed essays that accompanied his translations. His notes are an act of language that, together with the translated material, can be understood as an instruction manual for the literates of the new scenario of nineteenth century in Brazil.

Le système d'émulation au sein de l'éducation nationale du Vietnam : impact psychologie sur le comportement des élèves et parents d'élèves / The emulation system within the Vietnamese national education : a contribution to an analysis of its effect and its perception by students, students’ parents, teachers and the educational frameworks

Nguyen, Phuc Tang 26 May 2015 (has links)
In the current context of Vietnam, the stabilization of the growing development, the research of a better quality in human resources for a sustainable development are key elements. The emergency is to rise up the quality of education to fuel the social and economic development process in the country. This is the objective pursued by the Vietnamese government's policy of emulation at each level of education. However, those last years, two phenomenons appeared. First of all, is the indifference coming from the majority of students who are no longer interested by the emulation and refuses to make efforts to be member of students’ competition teams at every level. Secondly, it is the refusal of a part of the student's parent to allow their kids to participate in the teams. Consequently, the objectives initially set up, start to be threatened. The current work is interested to the elite system established in Vietnam. It will try to analyze the reason of this evolution and introduce proposals to this phenomenon in targeting the four important actors for the emulation system success that are educational frameworks, teachers, students and their parents. We will establish surveys by questionnaires towards those factors to understand, to understand the psychological implications of the emulation system currently in force.

Klasifikace přenosových kanálů na základě analýzy řečového signálu / Classification of transmission channels based on speech signal analysis

Báňa, Josef January 2013 (has links)
The thesis examines the impact of VoIP transmission channel characteristics on speech parameters. It seeks ways of emulating properties of a selected VoIP transmission channel and creating a network emulation environment. Several scripts have been created in the Matlab development environment and used to modify and divide a continuous recording into parts identical to the original speeches, before passing through the transmission channel. Subsequently a database of speech recordings is created, as affected by selected characteristics - jitter, bandwidth, loss. Within these databases, symptoms are sought as the most evident characteristics of the transmission channel. Using correlation, symptoms are selected that are best suited for automated determination of the properties of transmission channel characteristics such as jitter, loss and bandwidth.

Využití dynamické analýzy kódu při zpětném překladu / Enhancement of Decompilation by Using Dynamic Code Analysis

Končický, Jaromír January 2014 (has links)
As a part of the Lissom project, a retargetable decompiler is being developed. Its main purpose is to decompile programs for a particular microprocessor architecture into a high-level programming language. In present, methods of dynamic code analysis are not used during decompilation. However, we can significantly improve the decompilation results by using these methods. Design of dynamic-analysis methods is the main task of this thesis. In this thesis, reverse engineering and Lissom decompiler are described. Furthermore, general dynamic analysis methods, such as instrumentation and emulation, are described. The information we can obtain by using dynamic analysis and its usage during decompilation is proposed.

Vérification et validation de propriétés de protocoles pour réseaux de capteurs sans fil grâce au couplage de la simulation et de l’émulation et du système / Verification and validation of wireless sensor network protocol properties through the system’s emulation

Barnes, Calypso 28 June 2017 (has links)
Wireless sensor networks are a thriving area that shows good potential for many applications. In order for manufacturers to adopt this technology more easily, it is necessary to demonstrate that the operation of these networks is reliable, and therefore validate the protocols used by the network nodes to communicate. Different validation methods can be used, but we show that to date, none of these methods has proved to be ideal. We have therefore developed a new validation tool for these protocols, a simulation environment called SNOOPS. This tool is able to execute the binary code of the compiled protocol on a model of the node’s hardware platform. The node is modeled by combining QEMU, a virtual platform emulator, with SystemC, a hardware description language which is used in this context to model different hardware peripherals as well as the network communications between nodes. SNOOPS’s main appeal is the observer module, whose role is to stop the simulation if a protocol property has been violated, in order to find the error that is at the origin of this violation through a debugger. The properties of the protocol under test are modeled in Light Esterel, a synchronous reactive language, based on the protocol’s specifications. They are then compiled into C to be inserted more simply in the observer. An additional advantage of SNOOPS is a module to interpret and re-inject into simulation frames recorded in a pcap (packet capture) format log, from tests with physical nodes for which the origin of bugs could not be determined. We tested with SNOOPS the OCARI protocol developed by EDF R&D and its industrial and academic partners.

Politická Moc, Autorita a Legitimita v Kontextu Hnutí Socialistické Soutěže ve Vietnamu / Vietnamese Political Power, Authority and Legitimacy in the Context of Emulation Movements

Homutová, Lada January 2018 (has links)
This dissertation thesis centres on the stability and instability of the Vietnamese communist regime, and how to understand this topic today. This problem was explored with the help of an imported political tool, which Vietnam adopted from the USSR, through China, in the late 1940s, and which experienced a revival in modern economically liberalised Vietnam: emulation movements. This thesis assumed that historic and current emulation movements were designed to control, but also to bring legitimacy or a 'legitimacy effect' (and the related stability), through their different functions. It asked how they succeeded in this task comparatively, in their historic and current incarnations. The framework of functions of emulation movements in Vietnam combined with the theoretical concepts of David Beetham, Max Weber and Robert Lamb served as basic theoretical tenets. The thesis concluded that emulation indeed helped create foundational regime legitimacy and offered possible links to a new communist doctrine. The thesis showed that a predominance of successful legitimization, combined with legitimacy effect and Ho Chi Minh's charisma, helped stabilize the DRV regime, especially until 1954. The analysis of present-day emulation movements, however, showed the weakness of the VCP as it struggles to fulfil the...
