[pt] A dissertação trata da idéia de gênio desenvolvida por Nietzsche e sua relação com a tradição filosófica - principalmente Kant, o Romantismo alemão e Schopenhauer. Mostramos como Nietzsche modifica o conceito cunhado pela tradição e inova sua significação. A idéia de gênio em Nietzsche pode ser compreendida em dois momentos. O primeiro é o que aparece no livro O Nascimento da Tragédia, onde o gênio possui um caráter sobre-humano capaz de revelar uma verdade fundamental, por meio da arte. No segundo momento arte e vida não mais se diferenciam. Nietzsche aproximará tal noção de gênio à vida, se afastando da concepção forjada pela dita tradição filosófica, onde o conceito de gênio designa um talento inato, e nada pode ser feito para despertar este talento. Procuramos mostrar que Nietzsche parece falar antes da dificuldade da formação de um indivíduo autêntico do que da impossibilidade total desta tarefa, visto que, a partir da constatação da não essencialidade dos valores, certos homens podem criar e também se tornar gênios. Nietzsche parece propor um certo ensinamento de como se tornar um indivíduo autêntico, capaz de criar seus próprios valores e afirmar a vida, apesar de toda sua falta de sentido. Assim, o ensinamento é paralelo ao desenvolvimento de suas reflexões sobre o gênio, que tem na capacidade criativa sua principal característica. / [en] This dissertation is about the idea of genius developed by Nietzsche in its relation to Kant, German Romantism and Schopenhauer. These show how Nietzsche modifies the concept shaped by tradition and innovates the current signification. The idea of genius in Nietzsche may be understood in two moments. The first one appears in The Birth of Tragedy, where the genius had an extra-human character that can reveal a fundamental truth by art. In the second moment Nietzsche shows the similiarities between art and life. Nietzsche approximated the notion of genius with the notion of life. He takes distance of the conception shaped by philosophical tradition, where the concept of genius means an innate talent and nothing can make this talent appear. We tried to show that Nietzsche speaks about the difficulty for the development of an authentic individual, instead of the impossibility of this task. After the evidence that the values don t have any essence in itself, some individuals can create and become genius. Nietzsche seems to propose a certainly education to be an authentic individual, able to create his own values and enhance life, although its non-sense. Therefore, this education is parallel of the development of his reflections about genius, who have in creative capacity his major characteristic.

For this, we used the work Critique of judgment (Kritik der Urteilskraft, 1790). In the first moment, we explain the theme about the feelings of the subject in the reception of genial art. Here, we show as these feeling are apart from the epistemological function, because have only reflexions. In the second moment, our research approach the relation between subject and nature, without the auspices of the racionalism or epistemology, but in the use of the possibilities of subjective aesthetic existence or life as cultivation of taste inside of that Kant conceited as aesthetic culture. / Em um primeiro momento abordamos o aspecto da relação entre o sujeito enquanto expressão de genialidade e a natureza enquanto semelhante à arte. Procuramos evidenciar como tais sentimentos estão livres de uma função epistemológica, por integrarem uma faculdade de julgar ligada tão só a uma reflexão. Daqui retiramos, em um último momento, elementos favoráveis para pensarmos a proposta kantiana de uma estética do sujeito sem os auspícios da epistemologia ou do racionalismo, porque imbuída do projeto de uma crítica sensível sobre a experiência com a natureza e a arte, que culmina por se configurar como um conjunto das possibilidades do existir subjetivo enquanto tema para o cultivo do gosto dentro do que Kant chama, portanto, de cultura estética.

O estilo de época Sturm und Drang, o primeiro movimento literário genuinamente alemão, surgido na segunda metade do século XVIII, possibilitou a emancipação literária da Alemanha e introduziu naquele país o conceito de gênio original. A partir da descoberta da obra do gênio inglês Shakespeare (possibilitada pelas traduções de Christoph Martin Wieland), os alemães se depararam com o modelo de revolução literária que necessitavam para instituir as bases da originalidade literária alemã. Pautando-se na estrutura dramática shakespeariana, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe e Friedrich Schiller elaboraram seus dramas de estreia, obras foco da presente pesquisa: Götz von Berlichingen e Os bandoleiros, respectivamente. O presente estudo propõe-se, por conseguinte, a analisar as obras supracitadas à luz da temática do gênio original. Mas, primeiramente, são observados os fatores (como a ascenção do romance inglês) e escritores (como Gothold Ephraim Lessing, Johann Jakob Bodmer, Johann Jakob Breitinger, Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock, Johann Joachim Winckelmann, Wieland e Johann Gottfried von Herder) que colaboraram para a instituição da era genial na Alemanha / The Sturm und Drang period, the first literary style genuinely German, emerged in the second half of the 18th century, turned the literary emancipation of Germany possible and introduced in that country the concept of original genius. As from the discovery of the English genius Shakespeares works (enabled by Christoph Martin Wielands translations), the Germans came across the model of literary revolution they needed to establish the basis of Germans literary originality. Basing themselves on Shakespearean dramatic structure, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller worked out their first plays (works that are the focus of the present research): Götz von Berlichingen and The robbers respectively. The present thesis intends therefore to analyse the above-mentioned works, considering the concept of original genius. But foremost the factors (as much as the rise of the English novel) and writers (as Gothold Ephraim Lessing, Johann Jakob Bodmer, Johann Jakob Breitinger, Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock, Johann Joachim Winckelmann, Wieland and Johann Gottfried von Herder) that cooperated for the establishment of the ingenious era in Germany are examined

Uppsatsen utgår i stora drag från Wolfgang Kemp's receptionsteorier för att diskutera arkitekten Ferdinand Bobergs bidrag till den svenska arkitekturen inom industrin under 1800-talets andra hälft. Vattentornet vid Mosebacke i Stockholm fungerar i detta arbete som en utgångspunkt för att förstå Bobergs arkitekturella värdegrund och formmässiga ideologi. Uppsatsen ägnar också att etablera en övergripande förståelse av vattentornets plats i arkitekturrummet – hur vattentornet samverkar med den omedelbara miljön i både dess samtid och nutid. Mosebacke vattentorns återvändande till tidigare stilepoker inom arkitekturen diskuteras i detta arbete utifrån begreppet historicism och fungerar här som en central frågeställning som kontinuerligt bearbetas i uppsatsen. Utifrån dokumentation i form av artiklar, målningar och fotografier, som berör vattentornet vid Mosebacke, har det kunnat konstaterats att det välkomnades av samtiden och är än idag en påminnelse av den ”nya” arkitekturens frammarsch i den moderna staden. The topic of this diploma thesis is creating an architectural study of new synagogue and center for Jewish community in Teplice. Main goal was to design a complex used not only for sacral purposes, but also for cultural and educational purposes. The intention itself was an attempt to transform the location, to highlight its specificity and to capture its Genius loci. The proposal is a set of four objects consisting of several completely different units, all intended to create possibilities for harmonious coexistence of the past and the future. The complex includes a new separate synagogue building with three utility floors, which is located on the southern side of the premises. Two other objects are a one-storey administration building and a cultural and educational center, both located in the middle of the area. The building on the northern side of the property houses the premises of a kosher restaurant, a museum and a parking lot. Its roof forms a large square and recreational zone. Due to the large altitude differences of the premises, predominant portion of the facility is designed under the ground.

The master thesis Object in Landscape deals with the relationship of a human and the landscape. As humans can never detach themselves from their subjective perception of reality, they determine the criterion of the perception and relating oneself to the landscape. The objective of this work is to compare and contrast the viewpoint of landscape presented in the literature with the author's personal experience as well as the personal experience of artists working in or with the landscape. This confrontation results on the one hand in the presented art work, on the other hand in a series of educational tasks providing the validation of the theory.

Genius Loci and its Role in Tourism Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain the issue of genius loci, both generally and in the context of tourism. The methodology lies in the study of available literature. The interest in this theme is an appropriate response to current trends in the focus of the geography of tourism. Other objectives were defined in order to determine the position of genius loci in geographical research and its role in tourism. The diploma thesis is theoretically framed by humanistic geography (the concept of place introduction) and by the geography of tourism (the concept of sustainable development, psychological and sociological aspects of tourism). The case study demonstrates how genius loci is screened in three different types of tourism destinations - in Deštné v Orlických horách, in Litomyšl and in Potštejn - and how is perceived by local residents. In a seemingly ever faster moving world where global competition is rising, companies has to find their competitive advantage. This advantage could be by offering a lower price on similar products or for instance by offering a superior product. What makes a product superior in comparison with the competitor’s products and how can the company maintain its competitive advantage. One of the main solutions for this dilemma is to be more innovative than the competitors and thereby gaining the competitive advantage. Becoming innovative doesn’t mean relying on sheer luck; instead the company has to adapt the proper innovation management. This thesis aims to research and suggest how a conceptual innovation management framework could be modelled for a large technology heavy organization. The findings of applicable theories together with the empirical study clearly show that in order for a large technology heavy company to improve its innovativeness it has to act under an innovation management framework, where innovation strategy and designated roles are clearly stated.
