In this thesis, the term production is understood as the realization of a wide range of procedures that go from the creative conception, passing through structural organization, visual development, tools implementation, to effectuation of the many kinds of relationships between online hypermedias and the interactors. Based on Peircean Semiotics concepts and the General Systems Theory, this present research has the objective of providing an oriented guide to production and analysis of online-based projects. Besides gathering an extensivetheoretical data to clarify the steps involved in these types of productions, this thesis also developed a theoretical rarionale that indicares ways and conducrs for producers to develop projecrs thar are eHecrive from rhe communicarive poinr of view. With phenomenological emphasis on rhis type of development invesrigation, we consider the web design production as a systemic process, composed of a wide range of different signs, conducred by normative ideas, and developed from specific reasonings. Throughour the rhesis, we explain the rheoretical rationale through several analysis applied ro exisring websites. This implies that the enrire rarionale promptly leads to rhe empirical demonstrarion of irs applicability and eHiciency as an importanr subsrratum for a guide to production and analysis of rhe hypermediatic forms of interpersonal communlcarlon / "Web design: guia de produção e análise" é uma pesquisa científica que tem como propósito investigar o contexto de desenvolvimento e os processos de produção de sites na WWW (World Wide Web).

Kronvall, Alf January 2003 (has links)
</p> / <p>This essay explores how men and women in different age groups experiences Flashapplications, depending on their perception of colour and form. Interaction: portraiture in a digital world

Yashcheshen, Shannon 12 September 2013 (has links)
The thesis and exhibition, Interaction: Portraiture in a Digital World, seeks to analyze digital portraiture today. I choose to depict concepts and ideas, as they relate to digital portraiture, through four distinct series of work, which encompass similar ideas and themes, but come at them from different perspectives. The work within the exhibition is comprised of several portraits of personal friends, family, and acquaintances, which have all been appropriated from online sources such as Facebook, and online dating sites. Because the portraits consist of people that I know on a personal level, are a collection of portraits that are derived from my personal social media profile, and represent individuals with whom I have frequently interacted with online, one could assess that in addition to being a collection of unique individual portraits, the exhibition is also a self-portrait of me, the artist. The exhibition includes Facebook Text Portraits, Nightclub Portraits, Online Dating HTML Portraits, and a Crying Girl Portrait, all of which strive to blur the lines between art and digital design, while addressing the function and meaning of digital portraiture today.

INTERFACES ACESSÍVEIS NO MOODLE BASEADAS NO PADRÃO WCAG 2.0 PARA ALUNOS CEGOS / MOBILE DEVICES IN INNOVATIVE MIDDLE SCHOOL: A DISPUTE STUDY FROM THE ACTOR-NETWORK THEORY

Dalcin, Eduardo 12 August 2015 (has links)
This work is part of the development of research online Educational Technology Network, the Graduate Program in Educational Technology Network of the Federal University of Santa Maria, conducting an investigation based on a case study, qualitative, proposing the development of accessible interfaces on the AVEA Moodle. From the blind user's perspective, the objective is to develop accessible interfaces in accordance with the principles defined by the WCAG 2.0 accessibility standard. The theoretical framework behind information related to Visual Impairment, Assistive Technologies, Web accessibility, Web Application Design and Web Development Standards. During the observations and analyzes were listed all the elements for the format, resources and environment activities that may suffer some change to meet the principles proposed by WCAG 2.0. After the records from the observations and analyzes made by the blind student, subject of this research, he elaborated the final product of this dissertation, the AVEA Moodle interface design, containing the user's characteristics, definition of use cases, prototype mapping goals, defining the set of tasks associated with each action, screen images development for each share of interface and identification of user interface objects used in the implementation. After preparing the final design Web interface, it moved to the implementation phase of the survey recorded changes, following the development of standards for web accessibility. After the implementation process, finalized to research by performing the validation process following two scenarios with different technologies using the browsers Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, and the screen reader Jaws and NVDA, respectively. Research has shown through the made observations and analyzes that, in this scenario, much remains to be done, but many of these obstacles are solvable. The weaknesses relating to the accessibility of the AVEA Moodle interface identified in the survey, confirm the belief that various aspects of accessibility can only be detected by blind users, confirming the importance of manual validation.
