[pt] A presente dissertação, A permanência de bolsistas ProUni no curso noturno de Pedagogia do Centro Universitário do Norte (UNINORTE/LAUREATE) buscou conhecer a percepção desses alunos em relação ao acesso e à permanência no ensino superior privado. Especificamente, procurou-se conhecer as razões que os levaram a aderir ao ProUni, as principais dificuldades que encontram para se manter no curso com aproveitamento acadêmico e as possíveis estratégias que os mesmos utilizam para lidar com as dificuldades no cotidiano do curso de pedagogia. Para tal, procedeu-se a um estudo de cunho quanti-qualitativo que, após revisão da literatura pertinente ao assunto e levantamento dos bolsistas ProUni no UNINORTE/Laureate, realizou entrevista semiestruturada com 10 alunos bolsistas do referido curso. A análise do material obtido indicou o reconhecimento, pelos entrevistados, da importância do Programa para o acesso ao ensino superior privado dos estudantes em situação economicamente menos favorecida, ao mesmo tempo em que apontou a necessidade de implementação de políticas públicas que garantam ao sujeito de baixa renda a permanência e conclusão do Curso, de forma a promover a superação das situações intersubjetivas decorrentes da sua situação de sujeito pobre. / [en] This dissertation, The permanence of stock ProUni night course in Pedagogy of the University Center North (UNINORTE/ Laureate) sought to ascertain the perception of these students in relation to access and remain in private higher education. Specifically, we sought to ascertain the reasons that led them to join the ProUni, the main difficulties they encounter to stay on course with academic achievement, and the possible strategies that they use to deal with the daily difficulties of the pedagogy course. To this end, we carried out a study of quantitative and qualitative nature that after review of the literature pertaining to the subject and a survey of Fellows in ProUni UNINORTE / Laureate, held semi-structured interviews with 10 scholarship students of that course. The analysis of material obtained indicated the recognition of the importance of the Program for access to private higher education of students in economically less-favored status at the same time, which identified the need to implement public policies that guarantee the permanence and completion of the course subject that belongs to the class-who-lives-of-work, in order to promote the overcoming of intersubjective situations due to its poor state of the subject.

[pt] O presente estudo busca tratar do tema assistência estudantil em uma instituição federal de ensino superior – a UFRJ. É fundamentado pelo entendimento de que a assistência estudantil é um importante instrumento para a efetivação do direito à educação superior pública, gratuita e de qualidade que a democratização do acesso, por si só, não propicia, especialmente quando se refere a determinado segmento de estudantes que sofrem as consequências das desigualdades sociais, presentes em nossa sociedade. A atual política que visa a reestruturação das instituições federais de ensino superior conduziu a assistência estudantil para um nova dimensão, ampliando suas ações e definindo, de forma mais efetiva, a sua prioridade para os estudantes cuja condição socioeconômica muitas vezes impede a sua permanência na universidade. As ações de assistência estudantil vem sendo implementadas pela UFRJ há décadas e não sofreram alterações em seu formato ao longo desse tempo, apesar das mudanças ocorridas no contexto da educação superior, em especial nas universidades federais.A pesquisa desenvolvida teve como objetivo identificar de que forma a bolsa de assistência estudantil contribui para permanência do aluno bolsista da UFRJ. Para isso foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com estudantes selecionados para uma das modalidades de bolsas de assistência estudantil. O estudo tem ainda a intenção de oferecer subsídios para que o auxílio oportunizado pelo programa de bolsas de assistência estudantil implementado pela UFRJ esteja alinhado às necessidades dos alunos e ao alcance dos objetivos preconizados pela assistência estudantil - a permanência e conclusão de curso com adequado aproveitamento acadêmico. / [en] The aim of this study is to address the student assistance in a federal institution of higher education - UFRJ. It is based on the understanding that the student assistance is an important tool for ensuring the right to free and quality public higher education, once the democratization of access, by itself, does not provide, especially when referring to a particular segment of students who suffer the consequences of social inequalities present in our society. The current policy to restructure the universities led the student assistance to a new dimension, extending its actions and targeting, more effectively, the priority to students whose socioeconomic status often prevents their permanence at university. The acts of student assistance have been implemented for decades by the UFRJ and have not changed its format over that time, despite changes in the context of higher education, especially in federal universities. This research aimed at identifying how the student scholarship assistance contributes to the permanence of the scholarship student from UFRJ. To assess this, semi-structured interviews were performed with students selected for one of the types of scholarships for student assistance. The study also intends to provide support so that the aid offered by the scholarship program of student assistance implemented by the UFRJ may be aligned to the needs of students and may achieve the objectives pursued by the student assistance - the permanence and conclusion of the course with a great academic achievement.

[pt] A presente dissertação, intitulada Passar é fácil, continuar é que é difícil... A permanência de alunos bolsistas na PUC-Rio resulta de uma pesquisa realizada junto aos alunos bolsistas provenientes de Pré-Vestibulares Comunitários e do ProUni que tiveram acesso à universidade e são atendidos pelo Projeto Fundo Emergencial de Solidariedade da PUC-Rio (FESP). Além da análise de dados quantitativos referentes ao perfil dos alunos atendidos em 2007, foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com 16 alunos acompanhados pelo FESP para se conhecer suas percepções a respeito do mesmo, bem como as estratégias que utilizaram para permanecer na universidade antes de serem atendidos pelo Projeto. Foi também realizado o resgate histórico do FESP, sua criação e construção ao longo de dez anos de trabalho desenvolvido. Para este resgate, se procedeu à leitura e análise de documentos constantes de seus arquivos e se entrevistou professores e funcionários que participaram de sua construção inicial e os que ainda participam na atualidade. Os resultados finais apontam para a necessidade de se implementar políticas de assistência estudantil que possibilitem aos alunos em condição de pobreza, a permanência numa instituição de ensino superior quer seja, do âmbito privado ou do público. / [en] This dissertation, To get in is not difficult, the problem is how to hang in there… The permanence of scholarship students in PUC-Rio is the result of an empirical research, which includes the analysis of students, originating from Preparatory Community Courses for the Admission Exam and ProUni, who earned scholarships and were assisted by the Emergency Solidary Fund offered by PUC-Rio (FESP). Besides the analysis of a quantitative data on the profile of the assisted students, collected in 2007, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 16 FESP students in order to understand their perceptions about the project. In addition, strategies used by these students to persist at the university before being included into this program were analyzed. Document and archive analyses were conducted to present a brief overview of the history of FESP, including its creation and development over the ten years of the project. Also included were interviews with university teachers and staff members who participated in implementing the FESP project. The findings of this study suggest the need for a wider undergraduate student assistance program to guarantee the permanence into private and public universities of students who financial support.

[pt] Este trabalho apresenta uma reflexão sobre o feminino,sobre os enigmas que flutuam o seu universo e que produzem uma imagem social relevante e sustentável . Essa imagem enuncia transformações decorrentes de aspectos sócio-culturais e vai revelando como o comportamento feminino está inserido em circunstâncias históricas e em que proporção a literatura desvela e influencia tais mudanças. Para esse olhar , tomamos A Moreninha, de Joaquim Manuel de Macedo, como fio condutor e o romance nos foi mostrando uma nova mulher, uma mulher que em sua morenice retrata brasilidade e apresenta nova matiz feminina. Conseqüentemente, visualizamos um novo Macedo, um Macedo que alinhava irreverência e equilíbrio, um Macedo que ousamos ver grande e anunciador de um universo feminino capaz de tecer novos conceitos e de produzir voz e tornar-se visível e representável. / [en] This work introduces a study about the feminineness, about the riddlesthat floatits universe and produce an important and sustainablesocial image. This image enunciates transformation originated from social- cultural aspects and keeps on showing how the feminine behavior is inserted in historical circumstances and in which proportion literature shows influences these changes. Concerning this point of view we consider A Moreninha, written by Joaquim Manuel de Macedo as the starting point and the novel began to show a new woman, a woman who with her brunetteness represents brazilian feelings and also a new female clour. For this reason we visualize a new Macedo. A Macedo that gathered inreverence and equilibrium. A Macedo we dare to consider a great announcer of a feminine universe able to create new concepts and producing voice, becaming visible and representative.

[pt] Este trabalho aborda a temática da permanência de estudantes beneficiários do Programa Universidade para Todos – PROUNI do Curso de Serviço Social da UNIGRANRIO. Tem enfoque particular na percepção dos beneficiários do PROUNI acerca dos limites e possibilidades para permanência no ensino superior. A pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa foi desenvolvida com 09 discentes beneficiários do programa, ingressantes em 2011 no Curso de Serviço Social da UNIGRANRIO. Além da análise de dados quantitativos referentes ao perfil socioeconômico desses discentes. Foram realizadas entrevistas semi – estruturadas para elucidar o motivo pelo qual esses discentes ingressaram no ensino superior por meio do PROUNI, a trajetória acadêmica no ensino superior, bem como as estratégias que utilizaram para permanecer na universidade, identificando as suas percepções a respeito dos pontos positivos e frágeis do programa. A presente dissertação reflete sobre o cenário da educação superior no Brasil, marcado historicamente pela desigualdade no acesso. Foi realizado um breve histórico do ensino superior brasileiro abordando as transformações da educação superior ao longo dos anos e as mudanças ocorridas com implantação das políticas de ação afirmativa para negros, pardos, indígenas e indivíduos com baixas condições socioeconômicas. O processo de ampliação do campo da educação superior, com os programas voltados para a democratização do acesso, decorrentes do PROUNI, nos leva a refletir sobre as necessidades dos alunos de não necessitarem apenas de gratuidade integral ou parcial para ingressar no ensino superior, mas de condições e medidas que assegurem a permanência e conclusão de curso com adequado aproveitamento acadêmico através de acompanhamento e subsídios preconizados e oportunizados pela assistência estudantil. O trabalho apresenta também um resgate histórico da Universidade do Grande Rio Prof. José de Souza Herdy - UNIGRANRIO, campo empírico da pesquisa. Para este resgate, se procedeu à leitura e análise de documentos institucionais. Os resultados finais apontam para a necessidade de se implementar políticas de assistência estudantil que possibilitem aos alunos, a permanência numa instituição de ensino superior privada. / [en] This paper addresses the issue of the beneficiaries of the Program University students stay for All - PROUNI Course of Social Service UNIGRANRIO. It has a particular focus on the perception of PROUNI beneficiaries about the limits and possibilities to stay in higher education. The qualitative and quantitative research was developed with 09 students beneficiaries of the program, entering in 2011 in the Social Service Course UNIGRANRIO. In addition to the quantitative data analysis to the socioeconomic profile of students, interviews were conducted semi - structured to elucidate why these students enrolled in higher education through PROUNI, the academic career in higher education, as well as the strategies they used to remain at the university identifying their perceptions about the positive and weaknesses of the program. This work reflects on the landscape of higher education in Brazil, historically marked by unequal access. A brief history was held in the Brazilian higher education addressing the transformation of higher education over the years and the changes that occurred with the implementation of affirmative action policies for blacks, mulattos, Indians and individuals with low socioeconomic status. The enlargement process of the higher education field, with the democratization of political access, resulting from PROUNI, leads us to reflect on the needs of students do not require full or partial gratuity only to enter higher education, but conditions and measures to ensure the retention and course completion with appropriate academic achievement through recommended and oportunizados the student assistance grants. The paper also presents a historical review of the University of Rio Grande Prof. José de Souza Herdy - UNIGRANRIO, empirical field research. For this rescue, we proceeded to the reading and analysis of institutional documents. Final results point to the need to implement student assistance policies which allow students to stay in a private higher education institution.

[pt] O presente estudo surgiu da constatação das recentes mudanças ocorridas no âmbito da Universidade Federal Fluminense a partir da adesão ao Programa de Apoio à Reestruturação e Expansão das Universidades Federais (REUNI) em 2007, o qual gerou avanços importantes na democratização do acesso à Universidade com a ampliação da oferta de vagas na graduação, o aumento de número de cursos noturnos e a implantação de pólos no interior do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Como reflexo dessas políticas de expansão evidenciamos uma ampliação na demanda estudantil por recursos assistenciais, em casos como o da bolsa treinamento , atual desenvolvimento acadêmico , em número muito acima das vagas ofertadas. Concomitante a isso, observamos a expansão e reestruturação na Política de Assistência Estudantil desenvolvida pela UFF com o incremento de recursos advindos do Programa Nacional de Assistência Estudantil (PNAES) implantando em 2008. Este resultou em uma maior oferta de serviços com objetivo de apoiar a permanência estudantil, em especial daqueles oriundos dos segmentos sociais mais pobres que passaram a ingressar em maior número na Universidade. Essas mudanças implicaram também na reorganização da estrutura burocrática da Universidade em resposta a estas novas demandas. Nesse sentido, recorremos a análise documental de fontes primárias e secundárias produzidas no âmbito da UFF e de outros órgãos governamentais, bem como da análise de dados quantitativos e qualitativos coletados junto à Pró-Reitoria de Assuntos Estudantis (PROAES/UFF) como formas de compreender a institucionalidade da Política de Assistência Estudantil da UFF neste novo contexto de expansão e reestruturação da Universidade. Simultaneamente, buscamos conhecer ainda as perspectivas dos estudantes participantes desse processo, em sua busca por apoio institucional para promoção de sua permanência no ensino público superior. Dentre os resultados, o estudo destaca o fato das ações promovidas pela UFF se apresentarem em elevada consonância com o que fora definido na normativa do PNAES com relação às ações a serem ofertadas pelas IFES, como moradia, alimentação, saúde, creche, dentre outros. Da mesma forma, vimos que a opção da UFF pelo estabelecimento de polos universitários no interior do estado do Rio de Janeiro teve impacto importante sobre a distribuição da oferta de bolsas assistenciais. O aparato técnico-burocrático também sofreu intensa reformulação no período 2007 a 2014 para atender as mudanças estabelecidas nos decretos do REUNI e PNAES. Com isso, vimos uma intensificação na burocratização do atendimento à demanda estudantil, o que se refletiu nas exigências do processo seletivo para as bolsas assistenciais. Por fim, na análise das perspectivas dos estudantes quanto à solicitação de recursos da instituição destacamos discursos e representações que ressaltam o acesso às bolsas como parte de um projeto universitário , um direito social à educação ou ainda um auxílio em reposta a necessidades decorrentes da sua condição social, que extrapolam os objetivos imediatos de sua permanência no ensino superior. / [en] The present study appeared from the realization of recent changes at the Universidade Federal Fluminense scope from the adherence of the Programa de Apoio à Reestruturação e Expansão das Universidades Federais (REUNI) in 2007, which generated important developments in the democratization of the access to the University with the expansion of placements offered at enrolment, the increase of nightly courses and the implementation of branches in the rural areas of Rio de Janeiro s state. As a reflection of these expansion polities, we noted an extension on student demands for assistance resources, in cases like the training scholarship , current academic development , in a number far above the offered placements. Coincidental to this, we observed the expansion and restructuring in the Policy of Student Assistance developed by UFF with the resources increasing arising from the Programa Nacional de Assistência Estudantil (PNAES) implemented in 2008. This resulted in a larger service offer with the objective of supporting the student s permanency, especially of the ones from poorer social segments that started to join the University in a greater number. These changes also resulted in a reorganization of the University s bureaucratic structure in response to these new demands. As a result of this, we used documental analysis of primary and secondary sources produced in the UFF and other governmental agencies scope, such as the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data collected within the Pró-Reitoria de Assuntos Estudantis (PROAES/UFF) as ways of understanding UFF s Policy of Student Assistance, in this new expansion and restructuring University context. Simultaneously we seek even more comprehension about the perspectives of the student s participation in this process, seeking institutional support for the promotion of their permanency in the public University education. In the results, the study highlights the fact of actions promoted by UFF showing high consonance with what was defined in the PNAES rules in relation to actions to be offer by the IFES, such as lodgings and board, health care, and day care center, etc. In the same way, we saw that UFF s option by the establishment of university poles in rural areas of Rio de Janeiro state had an important impact on the distribution of assistance scholarship offers. The technical-bureaucratic apparatus also suffered intense makeover in the period 2007-2014 to meet the changes set out in the decrees of REUNI and PNAES. Therewith we see intensification of the attendance with student demand bureaucratization, which reflected in the requirements of the selection process for the assistance scholarship. Lastly, in the student perspectives analysis as to the institution resources solicitation we highlight speeches and representations that emphasize the scholarship access as part of a university project , a social right to education or even an aid in answer to the needs arising from their social condition, that extrapolate the immediate objectives of their permanency in the public University level education system.

[pt] Os estudantes que ingressam por meio da política de ação afirmativa encontram inúmeras e graves dificuldades para permanecer na universidade e concluir seus cursos. O acesso desses novos alunos deu ênfase às políticas de permanência e, a partir de então, a temática vem despertando um crescente interesse de pesquisadores que buscam conhecer e compreender os aspectos que perpassam a permanência universitária. A Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro teve a sua primeira experiência com a política de ação afirmativa para ingresso em seus cursos de graduação, em 2011, quase dez anos após ter se tornado realidade em outras instituições públicas. Especialmente a partir da Lei de Cotas, sancionada em 2012, houve o ingresso massivo de estudantes com um novo perfil, o que teve maior impacto nos cursos de alto prestígio, onde a maioria dos estudantes é oriunda das classes sociais mais altas. Desta forma, o presente estudo busca analisar as trajetórias universitárias de estudantes ingressantes pela ação afirmativa, em cursos de prestígio, a partir de suas percepções acerca do cotidiano universitário. Para atender aos objetivos da pesquisa entrevistamos o total de treze estudantes, que têm mantido uma trajetória improvável, na medida em que vêm sobrevivendo em um espaço onde a sua presença é pouco esperada. Os resultados empíricos demonstram que a permanência desses estudantes, embora permeada pelas dificuldades de ordem financeira, não está restrita a elas. As situações que se apresentam também se relacionam ao aspecto simbólico, que envolve a sua integração ao ambiente universitário e o pertencimento ao espaço e ao grupo. A questão da permanência, portanto, se amplia para além do provimento de recursos materiais, exigindo da universidade novas posturas e práticas. / [en] Students entering through affirmative action policy encounter numerous and serious difficulties to stay in university and complete their courses. The access of these new students emphasized the policies of permanence and, from then on, the theme has been attracting a growing interest of researchers who seek to know and understand the aspects that are involved in the permanence of the students in the university. The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro had its first experience with affirmative action policy for admission to its undergraduate courses in 2011, almost ten years after it became a reality in other public institutions. Especially from the Law of Quotas, sanctioned in 2012, there was a massive influx of students with a new profile, which had a greater impact on the high prestige courses, where most of the students come from the upper social classes. In this way, the present study seeks to analyze the university trajectories of students entering through affirmative action, in prestigious courses, based on their perceptions about daily university life. In order to meet the objectives of the research, we interviewed the total of thirteen students, who have maintained an improbable trajectory, since they have been surviving in a space where their presence is little expected. The empirical results demonstrate that the permanence of these students, although permeated by financial difficulties, is not restricted to them. The situations that are presented also relate to the symbolic aspect, which involves their integration into the university environment and belonging to space and to the group. The question of permanence, therefore, extends beyond the provision of material resources, demanding from the university new postures and practices.

The choice of themes, centered on the analisys of certain textual traits, has the purpose of turning clea the structural elements of the discourse, as well as establishing the mechanism that lead to the search of a sense of identy and a communal feeling, facts that favour the unveiling of unity, which is based in the rediscovery of self and of the portuguese land.

A expressão de táticas e modos de vida em processos de desumanização de indivíduos submetidos a uma experiência ininterrupta com a utilidade, a exploração e a exaustão. O fundamento dos estudos observa, a partir da década de 1980, autorias como Joel Rufino dos Santos, Lélia González, Nei Lopes e Neusa Santos Souza, entre outras importantes figuras do pensamento. Caminhos entre literatura e devir-negro do mundo; observar presenças, memórias e afetos do corpo diante da permanência colonial. / [en] This text central interest is to propose a debate, in the Arts field of study, about the body and writing processes of black voices, analyzing vissungos — worksongs and sonic imaginations — and relating them to concepts of Social Sciences, Economics, Philosophy and Performing Arts. The expression of strategies and lifestyle in the processes of dehumanization individuals submitted to an uninterrupted experience with the utility, the exploitation, the exhaustion. The foundation of the studies observes authors from the 1980s, such as Joel Rufino dos Santos, Lélia González, Nei Lopes and Neusa Santos Souza, among other important figures of thought. The study intends to contribute to writing processes moving by foot, searching for ethnographic dérives (Florencio,2015) ; to raise questions about urban mobility in an Afro-diasporic perspective. This master s thesis follows paths between literature and becoming-black of the world. It observes presences, memories and affections of the body in the face of colonial permanences.

[pt] A presente dissertação, intitulada Mulheres Negras e Universidade: uma reflexão sobre a permanência estudantil das discentes negras do curso de Serviço Social da PUC-Rio, trata da questão da permanência e do programa de assistência estudantil da PUC-Rio. Assistência estudantil é aqui compreendida como um programa voltado para a permanência de estudantes das classes trabalhadores e/ou pertencentes a grupos que vivem em condições de desigualdade social e tem como objetivo central proporcionar às necessidades e demandas acadêmicas condições que possibilitem a vivência plena da vida universitária e contribuam para a diminuição da evasão. A pesquisa tem como parte dos objetivos analisar as principais dificuldades de permanência vivenciadas pelas estudantes negras de Serviço Social da PUC-Rio, matriculadas nos anos de 2018 e 2019, realizar o levantamento do perfil dos discentes matriculados nos anos de 2018 e 2021 e identificar a importância do Fundo Emergencial de Solidariedade da PUC-Rio na trajetória universitária das estudantes negras. Para isso foram entrevistados 33 discentes e posteriormente 5 discentes negras, por meio de um formulário que foi enviado por estudantes do Centro Acadêmico Zica de Oliveira de Serviço Social para as representantes das turmas e ingressantes nos anos 2018, 2019, 2020 e 2021. Este estudo possibilitou a compreensão dos desafios enfrentados pelas discentes negras e pertencentes às classes populares, a importância do programa oferecido pela Universidade para a permanência dessas estudantes e analisou propostas apresentadas por elas para a manutenção da vida acadêmica que ainda não são ofertadas pela PUC-Rio. / [en] This dissertation entitled, Black Women and University: a reflection on the student permanence of black students of the course of Social Work of PUC-Rio, deals with the issue of permanence and student assistance program of PUC-Rio. Student assistance is understood here as a program aimed at the permanence of students of the working classes and/ or belonging to groups that live in conditions of social inequality and its main objective is to provide the needs and academic demands, full experience of university life and contributing to the reduction of evasion. The research has as part of the objectives, to analyze the main difficulties of permanence experienced by black students of Social Work of PUC-Rio, enrolled in the years To carry out the survey of the profile of the students and to identify the importance of the Emergency Solidarity Fund of the PUC-Rio in the university trajectory of black students. For this, 33 students were interviewed and later 5 black students, through a form that was sent by students of the Zica de Oliveira Academic Center for Social Work for the representatives of the classes and those who joined in the years 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. This study enabled the understanding of the socioeconomic challenges faced by black and the importance of the program offered by the University for the permanence of these students and analyzed proposals presented by them for the maintenance of academic life that are not yet offered by PUC-Rio.
