Prebióticos são aditivos alimentares não digeríveis que afetam beneficamente a saúde do hospedeiro pela estimulação seletiva do crescimento ou da atividade de um número limitado de bactérias probióticas. Apesar do avanço científico observado nesta área, poucos estudos têm sido reportados no que diz respeito à utilização de derivados de parede celular de levedura como prebióticos. Sendo assim, o presente estudo visou avaliar diferentes condições de crescimento e produção de enzimas extracelulares pela cepa Bacillus licheniformis E-44, com o objetivo de se obter um extrato enzimático para promover a hidrólise da parede celular de Saccharomyces cerevisiae gerando derivados que apresentam propriedades prebióticas. Os cultivos foram realizados em reator de bancada e em frascos Erlenmeyer sob diferentes condições de pH, composição de meio, fonte de carbono, agitação e aeração, sendo as amostras retiradas periodicamente para determinação do crescimento celular por turbidimetria e quantificação das respectivas enzimas (protease, ? -1,3-glucanase e ? -mananase). Os resultados demostraram que Bacillus licheniformis E-44 apresentou melhor desempenho, no que se refere ao crescimento celular, na presença de caseína como fonte de carbono, pH 8,0-8,5, agitação de 200 rpm e relação volume de frasco/volume de meio de 1:10. Por outro lado, no tocante à síntese das respectivas enzimas, essa não foi detectada nas condições avaliadas. / Prebiotics are described as \"non-digestible food additives that beneficially affect the host health by selectively stimulating the growth and/or activity of some probiotic species\". In despite of the scientific developments observed in this area, few studies are found concerning the utilization of yeast cell wall compounds as prebiotics. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate different conditions of growth and extracellular enzyme production by Bacillus licheniformis E-44 with the goal of obtaining an enzymatic extract to promote the hydrolysis of the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae generating compounds which present some prebiotic properties. The growth was carried out in lab scale bioreactors and in Erlenmeyer flasks under different conditions of the pH, medium composition, carbon sources, agitation and aeration. The samples were withdraw periodically for determination of cellular growth by turbidimetry and quantification of protease, ? -1,3-glucanase and ? -mannanase activities. The results showed that Bacillus licheniformis E-44 presented the best performance concerning to cellular growth when this strain was cultivated in a medium containing casein as carbon source, pH 8,0-8,5, 200 rpm of agitation rate and flask/medium bulk relation of 1:10. On the other hand, regarding the synthesis of those enzymes, there was not detected any activities in the conditions evaluated.

Experimente zur Entstehung von Titan-44 in Supernovae

In dieser Diplomarbeit wurde das astrophysikalisch interessante Resonanztriplett der Reaktion 40Ca(α,γ)44Ti bei 4,5MeV untersucht. Am 3-MV-Tandetron des Helmholtz-Zentrums Dresden-Rossendorf wurden dafür die Energien von Protonen- und -Strahlen kalibriert, Anregungsfunktionen im Energiebereich der drei Resonanzen aufgenommen, vier CaOTargets aktiviert und deren Struktur mittels der Reaktion 40Ca(p,γ)41Sc überprüft. Im Felsenkeller-Niederniveaumesslabor wurde anschließend die Aktivität der Proben gemessen. Schließlich konnte die Summe der Resonanzstärken bei 4497 und 4510 keV -Energie im Laborsystem zu (12;8 2;3) eV und die Summe der Resonanzstärken des gesamten Tripletts, d.h. zusätzlich bei 4523 keV, zu (12;0 2;0) eV bestimmt werden. Bei der ersten Resonanzstärke konnte die Unsicherheit im Vergleich zur Literatur von 19% auf 18% verbessert werden. Außerdem bieten die Daten der vorliegenden Arbeit die Grundlage, zukünftig die Unsicherheiten noch erheblich weiter zu reduzieren. / In this thesis the astrophysically interesting resonance triplet of the 40Ca(α ,γ)44Ti reaction at 4.5MeV has been studied. For this purpose energies of proton and beams provided by 3MVTandetron at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf have been calibrated. Excitation functions of energy regions near the resonances and in-beam spectra of four different targets have been measured. The 40Ca(p,γ)41Sc reaction has been used to scan the structure of the activated targets. Afterwards their activity has been measured in the underground laboratory Felsenkeller Dresden. Hence the sum of resonance strengths at laboratory energies of 4497 and 4510 keV of (12:8 2:3) eV has been determined as well as the sum of the total triplet strength, including 4523 keV, of (12:0 2:0) eV. In the case of the first resonance, the uncertainty was decreased from 19% to 18 %. Furthermore the results of this work establish a basis for reaching much lower uncertainties in the future.

O uso do mascaramento no potencial evocado auditivo de tronco encefálico com estímulo tone burst por condução aérea em indivíduos com perda auditiva unilateral / The use of masking in auditory brainstem response with tone burst stimulus by air conduction in individuals with unilateral hearing loss

A utilização do mascaramento contralateral durante a pesquisa do potencial evocado auditivo de tronco encefálico é uma temática bastante discutida, visto a inexistência de um consenso na literatura acerca de sua necessidade. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a necessidade do uso do mascaramento contralateral no potencial evocado auditivo de tronco encefálico com estímulo tone burst apresentado com fone de inserção 3A e propor a aplicabilidade do ruído mascarador white noise na perda auditiva sensorioneural unilateral de graus severo ou profundo. Foram avaliados 15 indivíduos, de ambos os sexos, com o diagnóstico audiológico prévio de perda auditiva sensorioneural unilateral de graus severo ou profundo, com idades entre 2 a 40 anos. Para tanto, foi pesquisada a resposta neural definida pela presença da onda V na orelha com perda auditiva, nas frequências de 500, 1000, 2000 e 4000 Hz. Nos casos em que houve o registro, a pesquisa foi repetida com mascaramento white noise na orelha contralateral. Os registros foram analisados por dois juízes experientes em eletrofisiologia, a fim de verificar a concordância entre as análises. O Coeficiente Kappa (1,00) apresentou força de concordância quase perfeita e o de Correlação Intraclasse (1,00) foi excelente, entre as duas avaliadoras, em todas as análises. Como resultado, foi observada a audição cruzada, ao menos uma vez, em todas as frequências analisadas. Os níveis de mascaramento contralateral mínimos necessários para eliminar a participação da orelha não testada variaram de 10 a 20 dBnNA acima do limiar eletrofisiológico da orelha sem perda auditiva. Não foi possível realizar a análise para a frequência de 500 Hz devido à presença de artefato e ruído elétricos. Conclui-se que o uso do mascaramento contralateral no potencial evocado auditivo de tronco encefálico com estímulo tone burst apresentado com fone de inserção 3A é necessário nas frequências de 1000, 2000 e 4000 Hz em indivíduos com perda auditiva sensorioneural unilateral de graus severo ou profundo, nas intensidades de 15, 20 e 10 dB acima dos limiares eletrofisiológicos, respectivamente. / The use of contralateral masking on the investigation of auditory brainstem response is a topic widely discussed, however there is no consensus in literature about its necessity. The aim of this study was to verify the need of using masking in auditory brainstem response with tone burst stimulus presented with 3A insert earphones and to propose the applicability of white noise masking in severe or profound unilateral sensorineural hearing loss. Fifteen individuals of both genders with previous audiological diagnosis of severe or profound unilateral sensorineural hearing loss, aged between 2 to 40 years, were evaluated. For this, the neural response, which is defined by the presence of the V wave in the ear with hearing loss, was investigated in frequencies of 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz. In cases where there was a record, the search was repeated using white noise masking in the contralateral ear. The records were analyzed by two judges experienced in electrophysiology, in order to verify the concordance between the analyses. The Kappa coefficient (1.00) had almost perfect agreement strength and the Intraclass Correlation (1.00) was excellent between the two evaluators in all analyses. As a result, cross-audition was observed at least once in all analyzed frequencies. The minimum contralateral masking levels required to eliminate the untested ear involvement varied from 10 to 20 dBnNA above the electrophysiological threshold of the ear without hearing loss. It was not possible to perform the analysis for the frequency of 500 Hz due to the presence of electrical artifact and noise. It is concluded that the use of contralateral masking in the auditory brainstem response with tone burst stimulus presented with 3A insert earphone is necessary in frequencies of 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz in individuals with severe or profound unilateral sensorineural hearing loss in intensities of 15, 20 and 10 dB above the electrophysiological thresholds, respectively.

Avaliação da estabilidade em longo prazo da correção da classe II com o aparelho Cantilever Bite Jumper e aparelho fixo / Long-term stability of class II treatment with Cantilever Bite Jumper followed by fixed appliances

O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar a estabilidade das alterações cefalométricas dentoesqueléticas e do perfil tegumentar obtidas durante a correção da má oclusão de Classe II divisão 1, com o aparelho Herbst com cantiléver seguido do aparelho fixo, 11 anos após o término de tratamento. O grupo tratado foi composto por 13 pacientes (3 feminino; 10 masculino) com idade média inicial de 12,87 anos os quais foram avaliados em três estágios: inicial (T1), final (T2), e pós-tratamento em longo prazo (T3). O grupo controle foi composto por 15 indivíduos (5 feminino; 10 masculino) com oclusão normal e idade média compatível com a do grupo tratado. A análise de variância para medidas repetidas (ANOVA), seguida por testes de Tukey (p<0,05) foram utilizadas para comparação intragrupo entre os três estágios. A comparação intergrupos das alterações no período pós-tratamento em longo prazo (T3-T2) e alterações do crescimento normal em um período comparável foram realizadas por meio do teste t (p<0,05). A maior parte das alterações dentoesqueléticas e dos tecidos tegumentares obtidas durante o tratamento se mantiveram estáveis em longo prazo. No entanto, a sobremordida demonstrou recidiva significativa, enquanto o lábio inferior tornou-se mais retrusivo em relação ao grupo controle. Apesar de alterações sutis terem ocorrido na sobremordida e na posição do lábio inferior em longo prazo, essas podem ser consideradas de menor relevância clínica. O tratamento da Classe II com Herbst com cantiléver seguido de aparelho fixo demonstrou estabilidade em longo prazo. / The aim of this study was to assess the stability of the dentoskeletal and soft-tissue cephalometric changes obtained during Class II division 1 malocclusion correction with the Cantilever Bite Jumper (CBJ), followed by fixed appliances, 11 years after treatment. The treatment group comprised 13 patients (3 female; 10 male) with an initial mean age of 12.87 years who were evaluated in three stages: initial (T1), final (T2), and long-term posttreatment (T3). The control group comprised 15 subjects (5 female; 10 male) with normal occlusion and compatible mean age with the treated group. Repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Tukey tests (p<0.05) were used for intratreatment comparisons among the three stages. Intergroup comparisons of long-term posttreatment changes (T3-T2) and normal growth changes in a comparable period were performed with t tests (p<0.05). Most of dentoskeletal and soft-tissue changes obtained during treatment remained stable in the long-term. However, overbite demonstrated significant relapse while lower lip become more retrusive in relation to control group. Although mild changes have occured in overbite and lower lip position in the long-term, these can be considered of less clinical relevance. Treatment of Class II with Cantilever Bite Jumper followed by fixed appliances showed long-term stability.

Μελέτη των ηλεκτρονιακών ιδιοτήτων της επιφάνειας ημιαγώγιμων πολυμερών για εφαρμογές σε φωτοβολταϊκά κελιά

Τα οργανικά φωτοβολταϊκά (OPV) είναι συσκευές που παρουσιάζουν μια ελκυστική λύση για εφαρμογές ηλιακής ενέργειας λόγω του χαμηλού κόστους παραγωγής τους, της μηχανικής ευκαμψίας και τη δυνατότητα παραγωγής συσκευών μεγάλης έκτασης και μικρού βάρους. Οι πιο αποδοτικοί δέκτες ηλεκτρονίων μέχρι σήμερα στα OPVs βασίζονται σε τροποποιημένα φουλερένια. Ωστόσο, χρειάζονται περαιτέρω βελτιώσεις προκειμένου να επιτευχθεί πιο αποτελεσματική μεταφορά των διαχωρισμένων φορέων στα αντίστοιχα ηλεκτρόδια. Προσπάθειες προς αυτή την κατεύθυνση έχουν γίνει, είτε επηρεάζοντας την αναμειξιμότητα μεταξύ του δότη και δέκτη είτε με την ανάπτυξη πιο αποτελεσματικών δοτών ή δεκτών ηλεκτρονίων. Νέα υβριδικά υλικά με βάση το φουλλερένιο έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί για να επηρεάσουν τις ημιαγώγιμες ιδιότητες των πολυμερών. Δεδομένου ότι οι πολυκινολίνες αποτελούν μια από τις πλέον υποσχόμενες κατηγορίες πολυμερών μεταφοράς φορτίου (οπής ή ηλεκτρονίου) για εφαρμογή σε διάφορες οπτοηλεκτρονικές εφαρμογές, ο συνδυασμός τους με C60 αναμένεται να παράσχει μια λύση για την ενίσχυση των οπτικών, μορφολογικών και ηλεκτρονικών τους ιδιοτήτων. Πρόσφατη έρευνα έχει δείξει ότι η τροποποίηση των πολυκινολινών ώστε να έχουν χαμηλότρες τιμές LUMO θα ενισχύσει τις ιδιότητες τους ως δέκτες ηλεκτρονίων. Στην εργασία αυτή μελετήθηκαν οι ηλεκτρονικές ιδιότητες διαφόρων υλικών που αντιστοιχούν στα διαδοχικά στάδια σύνθεση ενός νέου υβριδικού συμπολυμερικού δέκτη μέσω των φασματοσκοπιών φωτοηλεκτρονίων από ακτίνες-Χ και ακτινοβολία UV (XPS/UPS). Το τελικό υβριδικό πολυμερές που μελετήθηκε είναι η πολυ-πενταφθόροφενυλοκινολίνη η οποία υβριδίστηκε με C60 (P5FQ-C60). Το μονομερές πενταφθόροφενυλοκινολίνη (Ph5FQ), το καθαρό C60 και το υβριδικό μονομερές Ph5FQ-C60 έχουν επίσης μελετηθεί. Επίσης μελετήθηκαν τα υβριδικά συμπολυμερή P3OT-co-P5FQ και P3OT-co-(P5FQ-Ν-C60) με αναλογία 1:10 για χρήση ως δέκτες ηλεκτρονίων με καλύτερη αναμειξιμότητα με τον δότη. Για την φασματοσκοπική έρευνα τα δείγματα αποτέθηκαν σε υποστρώματα Si με χρήση spin coating από διαλύματα τολουολίου, THF ή χλωροφορμίου. Οι μετρήσεις πραγματοποιήθηκαν σε θάλαμο ανάλυσης υπερυψηλού κενού (βασική πίεση 5x10-9 mbar). Από τις μετρήσεις XPS η κορυφή F1s των μη υβριδικών μορίων εμφανίστηκε σε ενέργεια σύνδεσης (BE) 688.3 eV, μια τιμή που αντιστοιχεί σε άτομα φθορίου με δεσμούς C-F. Η ίδια κορυφή μετατοπίζεται σε χαμηλότερες ενέργειες σύνδεσης σε όλα τα υβριδικά υλικά, υποδεικνύοντας την επίδραση των μορίων C60 στο ηλεκτρονιακό νέφος των φθορίων της κινολίνης. Από τα φάσματα UPS μετρήθηκε το υψηλότερο κατειλημμένο μοριακό τροχιακό (HOMO) σε σχέση με το επίπεδο Fermi καθώς και το κατώφλι υψηλών ενεργειών σύνδεσης (HBE) για κάθε υλικό. Από αυτά, υπολογίστηκε το έργο εξόδου τους, ενώ από το άθροισμα του έργου εξόδου και της ενέργειας σύνδεσης του ΗΟΜΟ υπολογίστηκαν οι Ενέργειες Ιονισμού (ΙΡ). Αυτή είναι μια χρήσιμη παράμετρος για τον χαρακτηρισμό των ημιαγώγιμων πολυμερών επειδή αντιστοιχεί στην απόσταση μεταξύ του ΗΟΜΟ και του επιπέδου κενού και σε συνδυασμό με το ενεργειακό χάσμα (Eg) μπορεί να υπολογιστεί η χαμηλότερο μη κατειλημμένο μοριακό τροχιακό (LUMO). Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν ότι οι ιδιότητες των ημιαγώγιμων πολυμερών ή μονομερών μπορούν αποτελεσματικά να επηρεαστούν με υβριδοποίηση με χρήση νανοδομών του άνθρακα, που σε αυτή την περίπτωση είναι το C60. / Organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices present an attractive solution for solar energy applications due to their inherently low material costs, mechanical flexibility, and the potential of scalability to large area, light weight, devices. The most efficient electron accepting materials used so far in OPVs are based on modified fullerenes. However, further improvement is needed in order to achieve more efficient transport of the separated charges to the respective electrodes. Attempts to this direction have been made either by influencing the miscibility between the donor and acceptor phases or by the development of more efficient electron donor or electron acceptor materials. New hybrid materials comprising of fullerene can been used to tune the semiconducting properties of polymers. Since polyquinolines are one of the most promising classes of electron-transporting and electron-accepting polymers for use in various optoelectronic applications their combination with C60 is expected to provide a route for the modulation of their optical, morphological as well as their electronic properties. Previous work has shown that the modification of polyquinolines towards lower LUMO values will increase their electron accepting properties. In this work the electronic properties of various materials that correspond to the sequential synthesis steps of a novel hybrid copolymeric acceptor are investigated by x-ray and UV photoelectron spectroscopies (XPS/UPS). The hybrid material under investigation is the newly synthesised poly-perfluorophenylquinoline(P5FQ-C60) hybridised with C60. The perfluorophenylquinoline monomer (P5FQ, Fig1a), C60 on its own and the hybrid P5FQ-C60 are also studied. The hybrid copolymers P3OT-co-P5FQ and P3OT-co- (P5FQ-N-C60) with a ratio of 1:10 are also studied for use as electron acceptors to confer better miscibility with the donor. For the spectroscopic investigation the samples were deposited on Si substrates by spin coating from toluene,THF or chloroform solutions. The measurements were carried out in an ultrahigh vacuum analysis chamber (base pressure 5x10-9 mbar) equipped with a hemispherical electron energy analyzer, a twin anode X-ray source for XPS and a discharge UV lamp for UPS. The XPS F1s photo-peak from the non hybrid samples appeared at binding energy (BE) 688.3 eV, a value that corresponds to fluorine atoms in C-F bonds. The same peak was shifted to lower binding energy in the case of all hybrid materials. Despite the fact that the F1s peak has a measurable signal, the C1s component corresponding to C-F bonds (BE=289.4 eV) appeared to be at noise level for all the materials under investigation. This is attributed to the fact that the photoionization cross section of C1s is about four times lower than that for F1s. From the UP spectra the Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital (HOMO) with respect to the Fermi Level and the high binding energy (HBE) cut off can be measured. From the latter the work function of the material is calculated, while the sum of the work function and the binding energy of HOMO correspond to the Ionization Potential (IP). This is a useful parameter for the characterization of semiconducting polymers because it corresponds to the distance between the HOMO and the vacuum level and in combination with band gap (Eg) values can be used for the calculation of the Electron Affinity or in other words the Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital (LUMO) position. The results demonstrate that the semiconducting properties of polymeric or monomeric materials can be effectively tuned by hybridization with carbon based nanostructures, in this case C60.

Ανάλυση κατασκευής ιχνηλάτη φωτοβολταϊκής εγκατάστασης

Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία πραγματεύεται την στατική ανάλυση και την ανάλυση κόπωσης διαξονικού ιχνηλάτη φωτοβολταϊκής εγκατάστασης. Η σχεδίαση της κατασκευής γίνεται στο σχεδιαστικό πακέτο Catia V5, τα στατικά φορτία υπολογίζονται με βάσει τον διεθνή κανονισμό Eurocode 1 , τα δυναμικά φορτία ανέμου υπολογίζονται βάσει το Kaimal spectrum ενώ οι αναλύσεις γίνονται στο λογισμικό πεπερασμένων στοιχείων Msc.Patran-Nastran. Η εργασία αποτελείται από επτά (7) κεφάλαια εκ των οποίων το έβδομο είναι τα συμπεράσματα. Στο κεφάλαιο 1 γίνεται μια εισαγωγή για τους τύπους στήριξης των φωτοβολταϊκών πλαισίων και για τις βασικές παραμέτρους της ηλιακής τεχνικής και της τροχιάς του ηλίου. Τέλος, υπολογίζονται οι δύο βασικές ηλιακές γωνιές αζιμούθια και ζενίθια κατά την διάρκεια του έτους ώστε να καθοριστούν οι κινήσεις της διάταξης του tracker. Στο κεφάλαιο 2 αναλύεται ο τρόπος σχεδίασης του ιχνηλάτη στο σχεδιαστικό πρόγραμμα Catia-v5. Συγκεκριμένα, προβάλλονται αναλυτικά τα βασικότερα μέρη της κατασκευής και τα τμήματα που συναρμολογήθηκαν ώστε να δημιουργηθεί η διάταξη.Tέλος, παρουσιάζονται οι σύνδεσμοι που επιτρέπουν την κίνηση του ιχνηλάτη και οι βαθμοί ελευθερίας που περιορίζονται από τον καθένα. Στο κεφάλαιο 3 αρχικά παρουσιάζονται οι μεθοδολογίες υπολογισμού των αδρανειακών φορτίων της ίδιας της κατασκευής, των αδρανειακών φορτίων των φ/β πλαισίων, των φορτίων χιονιού και των φορτίων ανέμου βάσει του Ευρωκώδικα 1. Έπειτα, παρουσιάζεται η μεθοδολογία υπολογισμού των δυναμικών φορτίων ανέμου που επιδρούν στην κατασκευή και ύστερα προβάλλονται τα αποτελέσματα των υπολογισμών. Τέλος, γίνεται μια αναφορά στις ιδιότητες και στην μηχανική συμπεριφορά των υλικών από τα οποία αποτελείται η κατασκευή του tracker. Στο κεφάλαιο 4 γίνεται μια σύντομη αναφορά στην θεωρία και στους τύπους των πεπερασμένων στοιχείων που χρησιμοποιούνται στην μοντελοποίηση του ιχνηλάτη. Και εν συνεχεία παρουσιάζονται διεξοδικά οι διαδικασίες μοντελοποίησης όλης της κατασκευής αλλά και τμημάτων της με στοιχεία δοκού, στοιχεία κελύφους και στοιχεία όγκου. Το κεφάλαιο 5 παρουσιάζει την διαδικασία υπολογισμού της ζωής σε κόπωση που ακολουθεί η υπορουτίνα του Msc.Fatigue στο πρόγραμμα των πεπερασμένων στοιχείων. Τέλος στο κεφάλαιο 6, παρουσιάζονται οι αναλύσεις που έγιναν ώστε να βρεθούν οι δυσμενέστερες καταστάσεις της κατασκευής αλλά και τα αντίστοιχα αποτελέσματα. / Current study deals with the static analysis of the double-axis solar tracker structure and the fatigue analysis of it, using finite elements techniques. The design of structure is done in the Catia V5 design software, the static loads are calculated according to Eurocode 1 Standard , the dynamic wind loads are calculated according to Kaimal Spectrum which is used to model dynamic loads in Sign structures while the analyses are carried out in the Msc. Patran-Nastran Finite Element Analysis program. The study consists of seven (7) parts and the last one refers to conclusions. In the first section, the types of PV panel support and the basic parameters of solar energy and of solar track are mentioned. Finally, the two basic solar angles such as azimuth and zenith are calculated during a year period with the purpose of determination of tracker motion. In section two, the way the sun tracker has been designed in Catia V5 is analyzed. Specifically, the main parts of steel structure and the parts that were assembled so that the order be created are presented. Finally, the connections of two main subparts of structure, which allow the movement of structure, and the degrees of freedom, which are constrained by each one, are presented. In section 3, firstly, the calculation methodology of inertial loads of the structure and of the PV panels and the calculation methodology of snow and wind loads are presented in according to Eurocode 1 Standard. Then, the calculation method of dynamic wind loads, which affect the construction, and the results of calculations are presented. In the end of this section, a report of material properties and behavior, which are used in the tracker structure, is presented. In addition, in section 4, the theory and the types of finite elements, which are used in the structure modeling, are presented. Subsequently, the procedures of structure modeling with beam, shell and 3-d finite elements are analytically presented. In section 5, the background of total-life calculation that is used by the subroutine of Msc.Fatigue in Finite Element Analysis program Msc. Patran-Nastran is reviewed. In section 6, the static and fatigue analyses, which are carried out in order to find the unfavorable load situations of structure and analyses results, are presented.

Le langage algorithmique Algol définitivement codifié en 1960 , a été l'objet, dès l'année 1961, de nombreuses tentatives d'analyse syntaxique ayant pour but sa traduction (ou compilation) dans des langages directement interprétables par les calculateurs arithmétiques modernes. L'Université de Grenoble, en particuliers, réunit au mois d'octobre 1961, sous la présidence de M. Kuntzmann, Directeur de l'Institut de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble, un groupe de chercheurs destinés à réaliser la compilation d'Algol60 sur les machines les courantes en France.<br />Le groupe Algol s'est réuni régulièrement jusqu'au mois de janvier 1962, date à laquelle il se scinda en trois sous-groupes orientés chacun sur une machine déterminée.<br />Le travail que nous présentons ici a été élaboré à l'intérieur de celui de ces sous-groupes orienté sur les machines I.B.M. 7090/94 puis 7040/44/

L’alliage de Nitrure de Gallium et d’Indium (InGaN) est devenu au cours des dernières années un semi-conducteur important pour la réalisation de composants optoélectroniques, du fait de sa bande interdite modulable en fonction de la composition d’indium, entre 0.7 eV à 3.4 eV. Ceci permet l’absorption d’une grande partie du spectre solaire et fait de l’alliage InGaN un excellent candidat pour la réalisation de cellules solaires multijonctions à très haut rendement. Ce travail de thèse a permis une investigation approfondie sur les performances de différentes structures de cellules solaire à base d’InGaN. Il s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un projet visant à associer des méthodes d’optimisation mathématique multivariée à une démarche rigoureuse de simulation s’appuyant autant que possible sur des modèles et résultats expérimentaux. Il s’agit d’une nouvelle approche qui permet d’étudier les performances des cellules solaires en optimisant simultanément plusieurs paramètres (physiques et géométriques) de la cellule solaire. Nous avons étudié pour cette thèse, différentes structures de cellules solaires à simple jonction, notamment de nouvelles structures sans couche P et avons fait également l’étude d’une structure complexe à double jonction. Ces études nous ont permis d’évaluer les performances optimales que pourraient avoir les cellules à base d’InGaN et seront importantes pour la conception et l’élaboration future de cellules solaires InGaN à haut rendement / In recent years, Gallium Indium Nitride (InGaN) alloy has become a semiconductor of choice for the realization of optoelectronic devices, because of its wide spectral coverage, with a bandgap that can be modulated, by changing the indium composition, between 0.7 eV and 3.4 eV. This allows the absorption of a large part of the solar spectrumand makes the InGaN alloy an excellent candidate for the realization of high efficiency multi-junction solar cells. This thesis work led to a further investigation into the performance of different InGaN-based solar cell structures. It is part of a project aiming to associate mathematical optimization methods with a rigorous simulation process based as much as possible on models and experimental results. This is a new optimization approach that optimizes the performance of solar cells by simultaneously optimizing several parameters (physical and geometrical) of the solar cell. We have studied for this thesis, different structures of single junction solar cells, including new structures without P layer and we have also studied a complex structure with double junction. These studies allowed us to evaluate the optimal performance that InGaN-based solar cells can achieve for their design and future development
