Neste contexto a percepção de ganhos com a prática do desporto está presente no campo da saúde, social, político, além dos aspectos relacionados ao crescimento de pessoas a partir da ampliação de participação na sociedade. O presente trabalho justifica-se pelo envolvimento pessoal da pesquisadora, em relação à contribuição para a área da Educação Física Adaptada e para a pessoa em condição de deficiência. Objetivou-se investigar as particularidades ocorridas durante a trajetória dos atletas de ouro nas Paraolimpíadas de Atenas 2004 e as percepções sobre o sucesso dos sujeitos envolvidos: foram dezoito atletas em condições de deficiência visual e física, e dois atletas não deficientes, nas modalidades do judô, futebol de cinco, natação e atletismo. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso descritivo cuja técnica para coleta de dados utilizou-se a entrevista semi-estruturada com êxito na sua aplicação de 100% da amostra, em seis Estados brasileiros, a saber: Paraná, Santa Catarina, Recife, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Minas Gerais. Utilizou-se a Análise de Conteúdo como forma de análise dos textos observados através dos recortes das entrevistas, nas categorias: I. A trajetória dos atletas no segmento escolar, II. A participação dos atletas nas aulas de Educação Física Escolar, III. O envolvimento com o desporto adaptado, IV. O olhar da mídia, V. O apoio familiar, VI. A importância do apoio financeiro e VII. As possíveis contribuições para com o desporto adaptado. Desta forma, concluímos que a prática desportiva pelas pessoas em condições de deficiência adquirida tem sua iniciação, em sua grande maioria, dentro de um contexto de (re)construção de vida, ou seja, após tornarem estáveis as alterações decorrentes da deficiência nos níveis orgânicos e/ou psicológicos. É neste momento que o desporto adaptado ganha importância na vida destas pessoas, com a conquista da segurança, a recuperação da autoestima, a ampliação das oportunidades e as percepções de potenciais, seja no campo social, nos benefícios orgânicos, nos benefícios familiares, nos benefícios sociais e nos benefícios financeiros. / Abstract: Discuss the possibilities of the sport practiced by people in conditions of deficiency are numerous: income in front of possibilities combined with the systematization of proposals through Sport, the earnings for adjustments and methodological innovations, the adequacy of equipment, educational opportunities, resources technology as a way to maximize the possibilities, the endless possibilities mediated by the different methods of assessments. In this context the perception of gains to sport is present in health, social, and political aspects than the growth of people from the expansion of participation in society. This work is justified by the personal involvement of the researcher, for contribution to the field of Adapted Physical Education and the person on condition of disability. The objective was to investigate the features during the course of athletes from skateboarding gold in Athens 2004 and the perceptions about the success of the individuals involved: eighteen athletes were able to visually and physically, and two non-disabled athletes, in terms of judo , of five football, swimming and athletics. Thus, a type of qualitative research case study describing their technique for data collection using the semi-structured in its successful implementation of 100% of the sample in six Brazilian states, namely: Paraná, Santa Catarina, Recife, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. Using the Content Analysis as a way of analyzing the texts seen through the clippings of interviews in the categories: I. The trajectory of the athletes in the school segment, II. The participation of athletes in the classes of Physical Education School, III. The involvement with the sport adapted, IV. The gaze of the media, V. The family support, VI. The importance of financial support and VII. Possible contributions to the sport adapted. Thus, we conclude that the sport by people in terms of disability has gained its start, in most, within a context of (re) construction of life, or become stable after the changes in levels of disability resulting from organic and / or psychological. It is now appropriate that the sport gained importance in the lives of these people, with the achievement of security, the restoration of self-esteem, the expansion of opportunities and perceptions of potential, whether in the social field in organic benefits in family benefits, in social benefits and financial benefits. / Doutorado / Atividade Fisica, Adaptação e Saude / Mestre em Educação Física

Este trabalho tem por objetivo a análise do processo histórico que leva ao desenvolvimento de uma consciência democrática em Atenas no final do século V a.C. Para isto observa alguns processos concomitantes que confluem no despontar desta consciência democrática. Quais sejam: 1 - O desenvolvimento dos hábitos epigráficos em Atenas, em especial acerca da produção epigráfica e da organização destas inscrições enquanto hábitos arquivísticos. A relação da escrita com a organização da polis também faz parte deste processo. 2 - O desenvolvimento do conceito de democracia e sua relação com o termo demokratia. Esta investigação é feita através da análise tanto da literatura quanto da epigrafia. 3 – O desenrolar de uma disputa política entre oligarcas e seus opositores, associado ao desejo do fim da guerra do Peloponeso que era almejado pela maioria dos atenienses, mas por motivos diversos. Durante este processo há uma disputa pela autoridade das propostas dos grupos concorrentes. Esse critério gira em torno da ancestralidade da constituição ateniense indicada por cada grupo. As argumentações que procuram justificar a ancestralidade de suas propostas levam a um entrelaçamento com os processos acima mencionados. Desta confluência surge o desenvolvimento de uma consciência democrática entre os opositores dos oligarcas extremistas, os demotikoi. / This work aims to analyze the historical process that leads to the development of a democratic awareness in Athens at the end of the Fifth century b.C. In order to do that it observes synchronous processes that converge in the rise of such democratic awareness. Those processes being: 1 – The development of the epigraphical habits in Athens, specialy concerning the epigraphical production and its organization, developing in archival practices. The association between writing and the administration of the polis is also a part of this process. 2 – The development of the concept of democracy and its connection with the term demokratia. This investigation is done through the analysis of literature as well as epigraphy. 3 – The meanders of a political dispute between oligarchs and their opposition. This dispute is connected with a general desire to end the Peloponesian War, although each group for its own reasons. During this process there is a challenge of ancestry of the proposed, and purported, ancestral constitution of each group. The debate for the right to call their propositions as “the” ancestral constitution ends up entwining with the processes described above. From this convergence arose the development of a democratic awareness among the opposition of the oligarchs, the demotikoi.

The approach of corruption in the judiciary institutions of the fifth century a. C., in The Wasps, highlight the artistic and political concerns of Aristophanes by preserving the values and integrity of democratic institutions of Athens. From the observation that proceeded Aristophanes in defense of the polis, the goal of this research is to analyze of the comedy The Wasps, centered on its principal: the prologue, the parodo, the agon, the parabasis, episodic scenes, the exodus and secondaries aspects: the educational, the political, the legal and the cultural. Aristophanes criticism came at a time when the Athenian society lived the splendor of democracy, reforms resulting from socio-political-economic Dracon, Solon, Cleisthenes and Pericles. In contrary pole of Athenian democracy, the politician and demagogue Cleon live, in the caricature comic, like a tyrant or an agent of divine king pre-classical Greece, which was the absolute master in society. Aristophanes covers all these aspects of Athenian life in two basic parts comedy: the first, going from verse 1 to verse 1010, relates to the conduct of manic of Filocleon (‘Which loves Cleon’) by courts, and the attempt of his son, Bdelicleon (‘Which hates Cleon’), to reeducating him; and the second, going from verse 1010 to verse 1535, concerned the social reintegration of Filocleão in Athenian life. Both parties of comedy are devoted, therefore, not only to criticize the conduct personal and functional of Filocleon, but invite the Athenian society to preserve its institutions or the functions of democratic power: the People's Assembly, the Council of Five Hundred and the Courts. / Esta Dissertação de Mestrado em Literatura Comparada tem por tema “O retrato das instituições judiciárias atenienses na comédia As Vespas, de Aristófanes.” A abordagem de corrupção nas instituições judiciárias do quinto século. a. C., em As Vespas, destaca as preocupações artísticas e políticas de Aristófanes, preservando os valores e integridade das instituições democráticas de Atenas. A partir da observação de que procedeu Aristófanes em defesa da pólis, o objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar a comédia As Vespas, centrada em seus aspectos principais: o prólogo, o párodo, o agón, a parábase, as cenas episódicas, o êxodo; e os secundários: o educacional, o político, o jurídico e o cultural. A crítica de Aristófanes veio em um momento em que a sociedade ateniense vivia o esplendor da democracia, resultante das reformas sócio-político-econômicas de Drácon, Sólon, Clístenes e Péricles. No pólo contrário da democracia ateniense, o político e demagogo Cleão vive, na caricatura cômica, como um tirano ou um agente divino rei da Grécia pré-clássica, que era o senhor absoluto na sociedade. Aristófanes abrange todos esses aspectos da vida ateniense em duas partes básicas da comédia As Vespas: a primeira, que vai do verso 1 ao verso 1010, diz respeito à conduta maníaca de Filocleão (‘O que ama Cleão’) pelos tribunais, e a tentativa de seu filho, Bdelicleão (‘O que detesta Cleão’), de reeducá-lo; e o segundo, passando do verso 1010 ao verso 1535, diz respeito à reinserção social de Filocleão na vida ateniense. Ambas as partes da comédia são voltadas, portanto, não só para criticar a conduta pessoal e funcional de Filocleão, mas para convidar a sociedade ateniense que salvaguarde as instituições ou as funções do poder democrático: a Assembleia do Povo, o Conselho dos Quinhentos e os Tribunais.

An idea that spread out and expanded to other pillars: its institutions, its imaginary, its Law. It seeks the specific status of this idea within the Greek civilizational panorama – especially the classical period, which is conventionally said to go from the 7th to the 4th century BCE – and to link this idea – a democratic one – to the juridical composition that supported it. The paper shows how it differs from our current legal structure and how binding the concepts of Law, of freedom and of democratic political regime were in that primeval time. This study is based on a literature review of democratic Athens, but also of interrelated notions, such as the history of democracy, Roman Law – which serves as a counterpoint to Athenian Law. Finally, we consider that Athenian democracy is not only structured just as direct democracy. It has institutions. It values freedom over the law; legal-political decisions take place within the Εκκλησία and may be reviewed; it presupposes a civic formation for public participation and generates a community linked to the notion of public word, in which the sophists are the "teachers" par excellence / O presente trabalho pretende investigar a democracia ateniense. Uma ideia que se espraia e se distende em outros sustentáculos: suas instituições, seu imaginário, seu direito. Busca-se o estatuto específico dessa ideia no panorama civilizacional grego – em especial na época clássica, que convencionalmente se diz ir do século VII ao IV a.C. – e vincular essa ideia – democrática – à composição jurídica que lhe sustentava. O trabalho mostra o quanto ela se diferencia de nossa estrutura jurídica hodierna e o quanto são vinculativos os conceitos de direito, de liberdade e de regime político democrático nesse momento primevo. Esse estudo baseia-se em revisão bibliográfica sobre a Atenas democrática, e também sobre as noções inter-relacionadas, como, por exemplo, a história da democracia e o direito romano – que serve de contraponto ao direito ateniense. Por fim, pensamos que a democracia ateniense não se estrutura apenas como democracia direta. Ela possui instituições; ela valoriza a liberdade sobre a lei; as decisões jurídico-políticas se dão no seio da própria Εκκλησία, podendo ser revistas; ela pressupõe uma formação cívica para a participação pública e gera uma comunidade vinculada à noção de palavra pública, em que os sofistas são os “professores” por excelência

Certamente, um meio que transmite informações em velocidade que beira a instantaneidade e que atinge ao mesmo tempo todo o planeta traz conseqüências particulares no que se refere ao jornalismo esportivo. Este trabalho buscou demonstrar como os sites brasileiros se estruturaram para realizar a cobertura jornalística durante as Olimpíadas 2004. Partindo de conceituações em torno do jornalismo esportivo e também do webjornalismo, foram selecionados dez produtos editoriais on-line com o propósito de compará-los. Verificamos que modificações os sites sofreram em suas páginas iniciais durante a realização dos Jogos e também identificamos quais e como destinaram páginas específicas ao evento. Neles, foram ainda estudadas as ocorrências das seis características propostas por Marcos Palácios (in MACHADO e PALÁCIOS, 2003, p. 17) conduzindo a uma comparação da estrutura adotada por cada página eletrônica que se destinou a cobrir especificamente as Olimpíadas 2004. Para este estudo, foram selecionados os websites: UOL, Terra, Gazeta Esportiva, Lancenet, O Estado de S. Paulo, Folha de S. Paulo, SPORTV, Globo.com, Bandeirantes, e ESPN Brasil. / In spite of its recent raising, Internet is an outstanding mean of communication which brought implications to the way we communicate today. Certainly, a mean which send information at a speed of propagation border to instantaneity and which reaches all the planet at the same time brigs particular consequences concerning to sporting journalism. This work investigated how the brazilian sites were structured to do on-line journalistic covering during the Olympic Games in 2004. From the beginning with conceptualizations all around sporting journalism and also webjournalism, we collected ten on-line publishing products with the purpose of comparing them. We verified which modifications occurred in their homepages during the Games and also we identified which sites dedicated specifics webpages to the event and how they did it. In them, we studied the occurrences of six characteristics proposed by Marcos Palacios (in MACHADO e PALACIOS, 2003, p. 17), which leaded to a comparison of structure followed as a bases by each webpage which dedicated to cover specifically the Olympic Games in 2004. To this work, we selected the websites: UOL, Terra, Globo.com, Bandeirantes, SPORTV, ESPN Brasil, Gazeta Esportiva, Lancenet, O Estado de S. Paulo e Folha de S. Paulo.

Esta obra realiza uma interpretação da poesia de Sólon e do seu contexto histórico através de uma investigação historiográfica da memória política de Atenas. A formação da memória cultural de Sólon nesta obra é um objeto privilegiado para abordar a memória da democracia, a concepção de regime democrático no contexto do séc. IV ateniense, e o estatuto do conhecimento histórico no contexto intelectual da escola aristotélica. / The aim of this research is to study the cultural memory of Solon of Athens on the text “The Athenians Constitution” ascribed to Aristotle. This source performs an interpretation of the Solon’s poetry and his historical context through a historiographical investigation about the political memory of Athens. The shaping of the cultural memory of Solon in this source is a privileged object to approach the memory of ancient democracy, the 4th century BC conception of democratic regime and the historical knowledge status on the context of the Aristotelian school.
