La thèse propose une analyse de la théorie aristotélicienne du temps à partir d'une lecture de Physique IV, 10–14, dans une perspective nouvelle étayée par l'examen du contexte historique et intellectuel dans lequel s'inscrit l'étude du temps chez Aristote, qui permet de présenter une histoire pratique et théorique de la notion χρόνος dans la Grèce antique. Cette analyse s'attache également à comprendre la façon dont Aristote lui-même utilise cette notion dans ses oeuvres dites descriptives. L'Histoire des Animaux occupe donc une place particulière dans cette recherche, dans la mesure où l'examen détaillé de toutes les occurrences de χρόνος qui se trouvent dans cet écrit permet de trouver des éléments corroborant l'interprétation de Physique IV, 10–14, ainsi que la tentative d'Aristote de fournir les bases d'un temps non pas mathématique mais physique. Le but de cette analyse est de montrer que poser la question du temps comme le fait Aristote se présente comme une tentative adéquate pour penser l'unité du temps et du maintenant à partir de la multiplicité à la fois du temps et du maintenant. Cette thèse s'accompagne en outre d'une traduction partielle de l'ouvrage allemand de Gernot Böhme : Zeit und Zahl, Studien zur Zeittheorie Bei Platon, Aristoteles, Leibniz und Kant, 1974, qui est la version publiée de l'Habilitationsschrift de l'auteur. Les parties traduites concernent, outre l'introduction, les chapitres consacrés à Platon et à Aristote. / The dissertation provides an analysis of the Aristotelian theory of time based on Physics IV, 10–14, and does so from a new perspective examining the historical and intellectual context of the study of time in Aristotle's work, which leads to the presentation of a theoretical and practical history of the notion χρόνος in ancient Greece. This analysis is subsequently related to the question as to how Aristotle himself uses this concept in his so-called descriptive works. In this respect, Aristotle's History of Animals occupies a special place in this analysis, to the extent that a detailed examination of all the occurrences of χρόνος in this work provides elements corroborating the interpretation of Physics IV, 10-14 as well as of Aristotle's attempt to provide foundations for a theory of time based on physics and not on mathematics. The objective of this analysis is to show that the question of time as presented by Aristotle amounts to a proper attempt to think of time and present as single concepts based on their respective multiplicities. Furthermore, this dissertation is accompanied by a partial translation of the German work of Gernot Böhme : Zeit und Zahl, Studien zur Zeittheorie Bei Platon, Aristoteles, Leibniz und Kant, 1974, which is the published version of the Habilitationsschrift of the author. The translation concerns, in addition to the introduction, the chapters on Plato and Aristotle.

The present Ph.D. dissertation proceeds from poetry on the theme of the Virgin Mary which blossomed for several decades during the Romantic era and is dedicated to the use of its virgin and maternal themes in the work of C.J.L. Almqvist and P.D.A. Atterbom. The first chapter discusses Almqvist's description of the perfect complementary unity of male and female - and divine and human - in his juvenile work Murnis (1819). In this sexually explicit work, theology and religious experience is eroticized while sexuality is sacralized. In Amorina (1822), a burgeoning transformation of Almqvist's "wholeness" vision can be observed. While wholeness can only be achieved through the perfect union of man and woman in Murnis, Amorina emerges as a perfect figure in and of herself. In the second chapter, the figure of Tintomara in Drottningens juvelsmycke (1835) is analyzed. In this novel, the dream of the merging of "twoness" into "oneness" seems to have been abandoned in favour of an experiment, wherein the unity of masculinity and femininity is realized in one single individual, the androgynous Tintomara. Despite the fact that the novel's androgynous idea is formulated with direct reference to Plato's Symposium, the significance of Jakob Böhme's speculations on androgyny are also emphasized here. The third chapter deals with the poetry about Mary written by Almqvist, especially Isidoros av Tadmor and Marjam (1839). Almqvist's image of Mary is characterized in terms of "perfection" and "complexity". In Marjam, this complexity is expressed both through the drama's upholding of the paradoxical content of the dogma of the Virgin Mary and the main theme of the double drama, the tension between the earthly and the eschatological family. The fourth and fifth chapters of this dissertation are dedicated to the maternal theme in the work of P.D.A. Atterbom. I proceed from the hypothesis that the transformations which the figure of Mary undergoes reflect a tension between Romantic syncretism and classic Christianity. I analyze four texts by Atterbom in which this conflict is particularly apparent. In Atterbom's prose draft for his fairy play Fågel blå (1818), as in his sonnets dedicated to Mary (1817-18), I discern a shift away from Romantic syncretism and toward more Biblical patterns. In the fairy play Lycksalighetens ö (1824-27), this tension emerges anew in the two Nyx epiphanies in the piece. The elegy "Ave Maria" (1831) comprises the clearest example of the shift in Atterbom's writing toward classical Mariology. In the conclusion, Almqvist's and Atterbom's respective thematic use of Mary - where she is portrayed as a complex, transgressive figure - is contrasted with an early example of Swedish Biedermeier poetry, Carl von Zeipel's "Jesus Christus. Evangeliska romanser" (1822), where Mary is placed in the context of the little, idyllic family. / digitalisering@umu

Detta är en studie om västerländsk esoterism. Dess syfte är att undersöka på vilket sätt väg-metaforen används av Böhme i hans bok The Way to Christ och i vilken utsträckning tillhör boken västerländsk esoterism, studiens teoretiska begrepp är västerländsk esoterism och kognitiva metaforer, för att uppnå rapportens syfte kommer källmaterialet granskas med hjälp av en kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod och frågan om Böhmes tillhörighet till västerländsk esoterism kommer att undersökas med hjälp av Faivres definition. Analysen visar på att Böhme tillhör kategorin västerländsk esoterism i hög utsträckning och Böhme har använt väg-metaforen i sin bok The Way to Christ enligt tre olika mönster där det första mönstret har varit i relation till Kristus samt det andra mönstret som ett medel/verktyg och slutligen det tredje mönstret idéer om att vara på fel väg.

Syftet med detta konstnärliga examensarbete var att undersöka och utvärdera metoder för att, som musiker och trumpetare, hantera nervositet i samband med utmanande situationer, som exempelvis provspelningar och konserter. Det utfördes konkret genom instudering och analys av Oskar Böhmes trumpetkonsert i f-moll (Op. 18), ett verk som är musikpsykologiskt utmanande på grund av speltekniskt svåra passager. Studien genomfördes metodiskt genom instudering av verket i kombination med litteraturstudier och intervju med trumpetlärare. Genom identifikation av svårigheter i stycket (tonhöjd, tempo, andningssvårigheter, skalor och ackord, språng, flex, samt flera av dessa aspekter samtidigt) och sätt att lösa och hantera dem med hjälp av litteraturstudierna och intervjun, framkom ett resultat som indikerar att det finns effektiva metoder för att hantera nervositet för musiker och trumpetare.
