CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / Esta dissertaÃÃo analisa dois trabalhos dos fotÃgrafos Claudio Edinger e Nick Waplington, tendo como objetivo compreender a relaÃÃo dessas imagens com o tempo e as possÃveis mudanÃas na estÃtica documental que sÃo reflexos de diferentes maneiras de lidar com os instantes envolvidos no fazer fotogrÃfico. Ao projetar essa perspectiva de anÃlise, a pesquisa estuda a fotografia documental em duas vertentes: a dimensÃo temporal do clÃmax, do instante decisivo (conceito criado por Cartier-Bresson); e a dimensÃo temporal que evoca continuidade, que ressoa na estÃtica do banal e em imagens que trabalham âinstantes-indecisivosâ. No primeiro capÃtulo, trabalhamos algumas questÃes que nos ajudam a enxergar e a compreender essas diferentes formas do tempo na imagem. No segundo capÃtulo, apresentamos um panorama da fotografia documental clÃssica, trazendo tambÃm as primeiras rupturas com a estÃtica considerada tradicional. O terceiro capÃtulo vai tratar mais especificamente da relaÃÃo do tempo com a obra dos fotÃgrafos, trabalhando com o recorte aqui proposto: os livros âIndecisive Mementoâ, de Nick Wapplington, e âO Paradoxo do Olharâ, de Claudio Edinger. Ao abordar todas essas implicaÃÃes do fazer fotogrÃfico e relacionÃ-las à necessidade de uma nova visualidade, a pesquisa tem o objetivo de analisar as propostas de documentarismo dos dois fotÃgrafos, buscando construir uma interpretaÃÃo mais ampla do regime de visualidade cristalizado por teÃricos desde Barthes (1984), procurando pensar a fotografia como um processo que vai alÃm do momento do clique. Assim, o estudo busca satisfazer a necessidade de outras formas de perceber e de se relacionar com as imagens.

Este trabalho investiga os elementos que caracterizam a escrita pianística da Paulistana nº 7 de Claudio Santoro. Examina como a escrita pianística desenvolveu-se em decorrência dos eventos sócio-culturais desde os seus primórdios até meados do século XX. Contextualiza historicamente a obra, expõe a análise formal e harmônica da peça e exibe as conexões entre os elementos que caracterizam a escrita pianística da Paulistana nº 7 e os de outras obras do repertório pianístico brasileiro.

Over the course of the development of the violin and viol families between the second half of the sixteenth century and the first decades of the seventeenth century, players of these instruments did not conform to the existing roles for professional instrumentalists established by wind consorts and other civic musicians. In determining the early sources of professional players of bowed strings, the contexts in which choirboys and young church musicians came to study instrumental music as well as the functions of the ensembles, repertoires, and instruments illuminate the output of the subsequent generations of adult composers and professional musicians, particularly the Venetian School, the first to write idiomatic instrumental music and to specialize in instrumental composition and performance. The acceptance of bowed strings into church music contexts is reflected by the preponderance of string-playing maestri at religious institutions, most notably Marc’Antonio Ingegneri in Cremona and Claudio Monteverdi in Mantua and Venice. The ultimate indication of the presence of string instruments in the church music-educational system and thus the Church as a source of professional string players is the advent of sacred music with designated parts for strings: the stile concertato developed at San Marco and expanded by Gabrieli, Monteverdi, Grandi, and Viadana among others, along with evidence of increasing instrumental participation in the ceremonial sacred music that contributed to its development.

The purpose of this thesis is to show through the presentation and analysis of authoritative information, and opinions drawn from the information and analysis, the development of violin technique from its basic rudiments as an accompanying instrument to the plane of a brilliant solo instrument, a position it still maintains today. This thesis aims to deal exclusively with the technical evolution of the violin. Many books on the history of the violin have been written, but none have dealt exclusively with the technical evolution of this instrument, and it is hoped that the materials in this thesis will constitute a contribution to this field.

O tema central e foco desta dissertação é o exílio e suas múltiplas leituras possíveis. Tendo como base a análise da obra do escritor italiano contemporâneo Claudio Magris, visamos propor uma leitura de seu romance Un altro mare à luz deste tema. Para enfocar o conjunto da temática do autor triestino, resolvemos introduzir a análise abrangente de sua obra. O percurso da pesquisa inclui uma leitura de Illazioni su uma sciabola, Il Conde, Le voci, Alla cieca: parte de sua produção literária, com o intuito de descobrir os temas prediletos pelo escritor de Trieste. Com a finalidade de introduzir o contexto que originou sua obra decidimos mostrar elementos que caracterizam Trieste, cidade onde Magris nasceu e onde nasceram autores relevantes no panorama italiano e europeu como Umberto Saba, Italo Svevo, Bobi Bazlen. Na mesma cidade nasceu e viveu Enrico Mreule, o protagonista de Un altro mare. A pesquisa aborda sucessivamente temas como a identidade e o multiculturalismo, que estão intimamente vinculados ao do exílio. Como conclusão, a pesquisa aborda um outro contexto: acenos acerca da obra de escritores mitteleuropeos como Franz Kafka, Joseph Roth, Joseph Von Eichendorff e Knut Hamsun. Horizonte indispensável para recepção da obra de Magris, escritor por sua vez mitteleuropeu. / The central theme and focus of this dissertation is the exile and his multiple possible readings. Having as base the analysis of the contemporary Italian writer\'s Claudio Magris work, we sought to propose a reading of his romance Un altro mare looking at this theme. To focus the group of themes of the triestino author, we decided to introduce a great analysis of his work. The journey of the research includes a reading of Illazioni su uma sciabola, Il Conde, Le voci, Alla cieca: part of his literary production, with the intention of discovering the favorite themes of the writer. With the purpose of introducing the context that originated his work we decided to show elements which characterize Trieste, city where Magris was born and where were born relevant authors in the Italian and european panorama like Umberto Saba, Italo Svevo, Bobi Bazlen. In the same city was born and lived for a long time Enrico Mreule, the protagonist of Un altro mare. The research approaches successively themes as the identity and the multiculturalism, which are intimately linked to the exile. As a conclusion, the research approaches another context: hints concerning the work of mitteleuropeans writers as Franz Kafka, Joseph Roth, Joseph Von Eichendorff and Knut Hamsun. A obra de Claudio Santoro (1919-1989) para violão é representativa de um importante segmento do repertório de concerto do violão brasileiro, constituído pela produção de compositores não violonistas para o instrumento. Tal segmento é frequentemente olvidado por grande parte dos intérpretes e do público. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo abordar as problemáticas técnico-interpretativas presentes na obra de Claudio Santoro para violão solo e, também, sugerir soluções técnicas para a execução instrumental. Para alcançar este objetivo empreendeu-se um estudo do contexto de criação das peças segundo as tendências composicionais de Santoro, uma comparação entre as versões manuscritas e impressas da obra, análise da estrutura musical e entrevistas com violonistas que colaboraram com o compositor e cuja interpretação das peças foi por ele próprio referendada. / The guitar works of Claudio Santoro (1919-1989) are representative pieces of an important part of the Brazilian concert repertoire for the instrument, formed by the contribution from composers that are not formerly guitar players. This part of the repertoire is often forgotten by most interpreters on the instrument and, consequently, by most of the public as well. The present study deals with the idiomatic complexities in the guitar work of Claudio Santoro and suggests technical solutions for performance. In order to accomplish this, a musical analysis of the pieces was elaborated, as well as interviews with the main interpreters of the guitar work of Claudio Santoro. Also an investigation on the compositional context of the pieces and accurate confrontation between manuscripts and edited scores provide here an enlightened view of Santoro\'s guitar music.

Esta dissertação procura interpretar a obra dos poetas contemporâneos brasileiros Roberto Piva e Claudio Willer tendo em vista a tradição que invocam em suas produções, a qual aponta para as matrizes teóricas do romantismo e se desenvolve na modernidade sendo radicalizada pelas vanguardas históricas, pelo surrealismo e pela geração beat. O texto se foca na relação entre poesia e práxis vital no intuito de ressaltar como os poetas aqui estudados elaboram uma poética ao mesmo tempo em que negam tal intento. / This dissertation seeks to interpret the work of the contemporary Brazilian poets Roberto Piva and Claudio Willer in view of the tradition that they invoke in their productions, which points to the theoretical frameworks of romanticism and it is developed throughout modernity being radicalized by historical avant-gardes, surrealism and beat generation. The text focuses on the relation between poetry and vital praxis to highlight how the poets studied here develop a poetic while at the same time deny such intent.
