Contribution à l'étude des déterminants de la performance de l'entreprise : impact de la création de valeur pour le client sur la performance des entreprises hôtelières en Tunisie / Contribution to the study of the determinants of the company’s performance : Impact of the client value Creation on the performance of the hôtel companies in Tunisia

Oubya, Ghozlene 14 October 2016 (has links)
This thesis aimed to contribute to the study of the determinants of business performance measured from the customer perspective. We are interested in value creation in general and to creating value for the customer in particular as an explanatory factor in the business performance measured by customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. In this research, we took the tunisian tourism as a research field and our objective was to study the impact of the value creation for the customer on the performance of the tunisian hotels. We investigated whether the services provided by hotel companies generate value for its customers and thus for the hotels. Empirically, the interest of this work was to join the economical concerns of the country where several Tunisian Studies (ONTT, Ministry of Tourism) call to create more value for customers in order to boost the sector and improve business performance of the hotels; and the concerns of managers who are interested in meeting the appropriate conditions to achieve performance through value creation.

Mobile Communication Systems for Truckage Companies

Gruhn, Volker, Hülder, Malte, Ijioui, Raschid 30 January 2019 (has links)
The future of truckage companies lies in providing a more efficient and cost effective transport service, they must respond quickly to their customers’ needs and problems emerging during transport processes. Continuous and up-to-date understanding of business processes is essential and requires a reliable and user-friendly communication system. The project „Mobile Spedition im Web (SpiW)2“ presented here, develops such a mobile communication system, which focuses on the driver/dispatcher interaction. The main goals are integration with legacy logistics software and the possible use of new telematics and communication techniques. A mobile workflow server supports the adjustment of business processes to individual needs and the component based architecture of the communication system allows the later change and extension of components, making it possible to add new features to the system as they become available.

Klientinflytande vid bostadsvärderingar / Client influence on property valuation

Wilsson, Olivia, Ivarsson, Annie January 2020 (has links)
A property valuation is a complex process where the real estate agent requires to gather necessary and relevant information about the property and the market. It also requires that the real estate agent acts independently and not to be affected by pressure from the surroundings. A phenomenon that can then occur is client influence, which means that the client is trying to influence the real estate agent to adjust the valuation. The aim of this study was to examine how the occurrence of client influence in property valuations may differ between a smaller town and a major city. The study examines the presence of client influence in two different markets, as well as the different types of client influence that may arise during the valuation process. The essay focuses on client influence in the valuation of private housing and it is only real estate agents who are considered as property appraisers in the study. The implementation of the study was a qualitative method where interviews were conducted with six professional real estate agents. The responses from the interview were compiled and analyzed based on previously presented theory and the conclusion was that the occurrence of client influence differ between the two markets.

The Influence of Self-Monitoring on Return Rate Following Intake at a Child Guidance Clinic

Matthews, Catherine Henson 12 1900 (has links)
Research has yet to identify any characteristics of clients, therapists, or treatment dyads which consistently identify those clients most likely to drop out of treatment. A frame of reference which may prove useful in identifying such clients is the social psychological construct of selfmonitoring. This theory proposes that individuals involved in any social encounter differ from each other in their approach to constructing a relevant self-presentation. High self-monitors emphasize matching their behavior to situational cues while low self-monitors match their behavior to perceived internal values and traits. The present study demonstrates the effects that selfmonitoring styles of therapists and clients have on the effectiveness of a therapeutic intake interview and the client's decision whether or not to return for treatment. Additionally examined are the effects of therapist selfmonitoring style on theoretical orientations toward psychotherapy. The hypothesis that pairings of high self-monitors would be most effective is tested by Chi-square and found to be nonsignificant. Using the Chi-square test, low self-monitoring therapists are found to endorse a single approach to therapy and to strongly endorse the psychoanalytical orientation. Low self-monitors are found to be eclectic in approach. Satisfaction with the interview is examined using ANOVA. Results are nonsignificant with the exception that low self-monitoring therapists are more satisfied with the intake interview than are high selfmonitoring therapists. Finally, within-cell Pearson correlations are examined to measure agreement about satisfaction between therapist and client. Pairs of high self-monitors show the highest rate of agreement. Implications for further research in this area are discussed.

Construction Management or Contractor : A client´s choice

Lindblom, Daniel, Isaksson, Jonathan January 2012 (has links)
Clients within the construction industry have become more aware of benefits that exist and can be reached when going through a major construction project, benefits that invite for efficiency improvements both during construction and its prophases. New methods of execution and their different advantages are evaluated. This change has opened the door for new business models such as Construction Management (CM) but it also demands the contractors to adapt and come up with more client-customized methods. The thesis goes further into the question of when to use which execution method and describes how the client thinks in the decision-making process. What factors affect the client when making the choice between CM and contractors? It investigates and highlights the behaviors, features and processes that affect the client in their way towards an optimal investment. It further explores what the contractors and CM firms can do in order to adapt to their clients and win their trust. The Analysis & Conclusion chapter provides a summarized view of What the clients have in mind but also Why and How they make their decisions. Throughout the literature review and interviews we found five different parameters as particularly important: • Experience – what has been done before and was it successful? • Availability – how easy is it for clients to recall the different actors? • Relations – optimal teamwork and collaborations or just personal relations and quick fixes? •Price/Risk – what risks are included and how is that linked to costs? •In-House Resources – what does the clients’ own organizations look like and what resources are available? Clients wish for a riskless, cheap and short construction process with retained good quality and without friction between organizations. On their way towards this goal they face several complex aspects as well as their own human characteristics, being affected by biases and heuristics. This thesis shows that the choice between these two business models is complex and not obvious but that improvements in the client’s evaluation and decision-strategies can be made. The right business model for a projects specifics’ can, in particular for redevelopment projects, give several benefits. It also shows that the execution firms can change and adapt in many ways in order to influence their situation with the clients.

Partnering – from a client perspective / Samverkan – ur ett beställarperspektiv

Enjebo, Jonas, Guldbrandzén, Fredrik January 2014 (has links)
During the nineties, a lot of criticism was aimed at the construction industry. Partnering emerged as a way to tackle the problems. The principle of partnering is that the parties agree to jointly achieve common project goals by mutual trust and understanding of each other's values and expectations. Although partnering has existed for nearly three decades, the meaning of the concept is still illusive and what advantages it entails. However, the concept is nevertheless used by the industry. The paper aims to improve the understanding of the motives for implementing partnering by examining why partnering is implemented by HSB Bostad AB and what motives exists for its usage. Empirical data was collected by using a case study of HSB Bostad AB, and analyzed on the basis of economic theories and models. The results show that partnering primarily is used in projects which are; complex, have big scope and where there is limited competition among contractors. Partnering is also used as; a risk-balancer in the project portfolio (because HSB Bostad’s risk exposure varies in different contract forms), an educational medium and a platform for a more enjoyable work-environment.
