Význam aktivit agentury CzechInvest pro podnikání v ČR / The importance of the activities of CzechInvest on entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic

Master thesis is focused on the agency CzechInvest and its role towards enterprises in the Czech Republic. Their influence on entrepreneurs raises competitiveness of Czech companies and also increases the position of our companies abroad. The first chapter deals with theoretical approaches to international trade. Another chapter focuses on the situation in the Czech economy after the revolution in 1989. Special attention is paid to foreign direct investment as a key factor in the development of the Czech economy in the third chapter. CzechInvest activities are divided into the period before joining the European Union and the activities that the agency performs and after joining Czech republic EU. After joining the EU CzechInvest agenda has expanded and adopts new programs. Those are devoted to the fifth chapter. The last chapter explores the influence of the chosen indicators.

No cenário atual, a gestão estratégia passa a ser uma forma de monitorar fatores internos e externos das empresas, considerando o ambiente em que estão inseridas, identificando oportunidades de mercado e novas formas de agregar vantagem competitiva. No entanto, para verificar os efetivos resultados dessa proposta de gestão, desenvolvemos este trabalho com o objetivo de entender como realizar a gestão estratégica em empresas de pequeno porte. O estudo de caso realizado tem foco no setor da construção civil de habitação de interesse social, que apresentou grande índice de crescimento na última década, devido a mudança da política habitacional federal que ampliou o volume de verbas disponibilizadas para incentivo a habitação popular no país. Esta realidade propiciou o aumento da demanda e, conseqüentemente, da concorrência. Assim, através da pesquisa realizada, que efetivou o acompanhamento da implantação e do desenvolvimento do planejamento estratégico embasado no mapeamento por indicadores proposto pelo Balanced Scorecard, obteve-se um modelo de mapeamento estratégico que possibilita a antecipação de ameaças e oportunidades, permite olhar o futuro e, com isso, elaborar estratégias que oportunizem a adaptação organizacional ao mundo em mutação.

El cumplimiento de las normas ambientales y la competitividad en la empresa: el caso del sector florícola ecuatoriano

En la actualidad, amplios sectores de la sociedad asumen el respeto al medio ambiente como una responsabilidad de todos, aprovechando diligentemente los recursos naturales y previniendo la contaminación a través de procedimientos, productos y materiales que disminuyan los impactos ambientales. Las empresas, como parte fundamental de la sociedad, contribuyen cada vez más a la sostenibilidad del planeta pero además, aprovechan las nuevas oportunidades que el respeto al medio ambiente les ofrece para obtener ventajas competitivas a través de la diferenciación de sus productos y procesos. Estos principios no son ajenos a las empresas florícolas ecuatorianas, que se marcan como objetivo la obtención de productos de alta calidad, libres de químicos dañinos a la salud de los trabajadores y al entorno. En esta Tesis se realiza un estudio de la actividad florícola en el Ecuador: su evolución, sus principales zonas de cultivo, los principales productos de exportación y los principales mercados y el marco legal en el que se desenvuelve el sector florícola. Bredband och Internet i Sverige : en kartläggning av faktisk tillgång och användning ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv / Broadband and Internet in Sweden : a survey of actual availability and utilisation from an economic perspective

Globalt sett är Sverige ett föregångsland inom informationsteknologi. Såväl nationell som internationell statistik visar på växande bredbandstillgång och alltmer frekvent användning av tjänster på Internet. Sådana siffror utgår emellertid ofta från ett leverantörsperspektiv och teoretiska prestanda. Detta examensarbete kartlägger faktisk tillgång till bredband i Sverige, samt utvärderar dess implikationer för fortsatt utveckling av Internetanvändningen ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv. Dessutom analyseras framtidspotentialen för nuvarande accesstekniker i landet. Datastudien innefattar de trådbundna accessteknikerna xDSL, kabel-tv och fiber-LAN samt ett antal trådlösa tekniker, så kallat mobilt bredband. Vårt empiriska underlag kommer i första hand från Stiftelsen för Internetinfrastruktur (.SE), en oberoende allmännyttig organisation som verkar för positiv utveckling av Internet i Sverige. Studien bygger på huvudsakligen kvantitativ data kring bredbandstillgång, faktisk prestanda hos olika bredbandstjänster samt svenskarnas användning av Internet. Intervjuer med representanter från svenska bredbandsoperatörer har också genomförts. I litteraturstudien byggs en teoretisk referensram som visar sambandet mellan bredbandstillgång och ekonomisk utveckling, genom de tillämpningar av Internet som bredbandsteknikerna möjliggör. Enligt vår analys förefaller bredbandstillgången i Sverige mer ojämn än vad andra kartläggningar påvisar, om man tar hänsyn till geografisk spridning av accesstekniker och kapaciteten hos dessa. Höghastighetsanslutningar, enligt vår samtida definition, är teoretiskt sett möjliga med samtliga trådbundna och ett antal mobila tekniker, men i nuläget förefaller sådan prestanda bara realistisk för kabel-tv och fiber-LAN. Tillsammans når dessa två tekniker hälften av landets befolkning. Sambanden mellan bredbandspenetration, Internetanvändning och sedermera ekonomisk utveckling är långtifrån entydiga, men examensarbetet gör gällande att andra marknadskrafter verkar idag jämfört med för bara några år sedan. Från att det snarast varit bredbandsutbyggnaden som drivit tjänsteutvecklingen på Internet kan det idag observeras alltmer kapacitetskrävande tillämpningar som når ut till större målgrupper. Nuvarande bredbandsinfrastruktur riskerar att skapa samhällsklyftor när det gäller möjligheterna att tillgodogöra sig olika former av digitalt innehåll på olika platser i landet. Utmaningen ligger både i att erbjuda likvärdiga accessmöjligheter över hela landet och i att förbindelserna ska ha tillräckliga prestanda för att klara av de växande trafikmängderna. Kapacitets- och hastighetsmässigt finns idag inga långsiktiga alternativ till fiberbaserade tekniker, ett påstående som stärks av en teknisk analys ända ned till grundläggande fysikaliska principer, men anslutningsmöjligheterna och rörligheten med mobilt bredband talar för ett stort framtidsbehov även där. / Globally speaking, Sweden is a leading country in information technology. Both national and international statistics indicate growing broadband availability and increasingly frequent use of Internet services. Such figures, however, often originate from the provider's perspective and are based on theoretical performance. This thesis surveys actual broadband availability in Sweden, and evaluates implications for continued development of Internet utilisation from an economic perspective. Furthermore, future potential of currently available connection types are analysed. The empirical study includes the wired connection types xDSL, cable and fiber LAN, as well as a number of wireless techniques. Data has primarily been provided by The Internet Infrastructure Foundation (.SE), an independent organisation for the benefit of the public that promotes a positive Internet development in Sweden. The study is comprised of mainly quantitative data on broadband access, actual performance of different broadband services and Internet usage in Sweden. Interviews with representatives of Swedish Internet service providers have also been conducted. Based on a review of literature, we construct a theoretical framework that illustrates the link between broadband access and economic development, through Internet applications that are enabled by broadband technology. According to our analysis, broadband availability in Sweden appears to be more uneven than what other surveys indicate, when the geographical dispersion of connection types and their capacities are considered. High-speed connections, by our coeval definition of the term, are theoretically possible by all wired and by some mobile technologies, but to date such performance only appears realistic for cable and fiber LAN. Combined, these two connection types are available to half the population. The relationships between broadband penetration, Internet utilisation and economic development are far from unequivocal, but the thesis states that new market forces operate today, compared to only a few years ago. Whereas the development of Internet applications used to be driven by broadband expansion in itself, increasingly demanding applications reaching larger target audiences can be seen as the main drivers today. The current broadband infrastructure risks creating social gaps when it comes to the possibility of accessing different forms of digital content in various parts of the country. The challenge lies both in providing equal access throughout the country, and in managing the performance requirements of growing amounts of data traffic. Today, there are no long-term alternatives to fiber-based connections in terms of capacity and speed. This claim is based on an analysis down to basic physical principles. Availability and mobility of wireless techniques, however, suggest a substantial future need for those as well.

Soutěživost vs. solidarita studentů na střední škole / Competitiveness and solidarity of high school students

This master's thesis deals with competitiveness and solidarity among high school students. Students are required to have good results and achievements at school, which leads to competition among students to determine who is be the best. In addition, the class counts on cooperation and solidarity to function well as a group. These two phenomena can put pressure on students, and although they seem to be mutually exclusive, they are interconnected. This research focuses on these two elements in class relationships. I conducted qualitative semi- structured interviews. Due to the current pandemic situation, the interviews took place online. The main finding of the research is that competitiveness does not manifest itself in the usual way for students: it is not required by their surroundings, but they rather motivate themselves to compete with each other. Solidarity is reflected in how they work together and how they understand each other. For students it is important to have friendly relationships in the class, which makes them want to cooperate more (classmates with whom the students do not have such friendly relationships are not selected for cooperation to such an extent). Relationships are built not only through help and cooperation in the classroom, as expected, but above all through friendships...

Bakgrund: Digitaliseringen har transformerat bankmarknaden. Denna förändring har öppnat upp möjligheter för nya aktörer att konkurrera på marknaden. Detta har även lett till att fler kunder väljer att genomföra bankbyten eller komplettera med ytterligare bank/banker. Sparande har även ökat markant bland Sveriges privatpersoner de senaste 20 åren, vilket gör att det är en stor och viktig marknad för bankerna att fokusera på. Storbankerna har däremot förlorat marknadsandelar inom sparande till fördel för internetbankerna. Utvecklingen av bankmarknaden kan därför innebära att storbankernas dominans kan vara förbi. Syfte: Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur storbanker kan bli mer konkurrenskraftiga inom placeringar gentemot internetbanker. Detta då digitaliseringen har förändrat sparmarknaden syftar uppsatsen även till att se hur privatpersoners sparbeteende har förändrats. Metod: För studien har en kvalitativ metod använts i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer samt dokumentstudie. Studien har utgått ifrån en deduktiv ansats, då intervjuerna har analyserat utifrån teorierna i referensramen. Detta för att besvara studiens syfte och frågeställningar. Slutsats: Storbanker kan bli mer konkurrenskraftiga genom att förbättra sina digitala lösningar, arbeta mer proaktivt samt applicera mer agila affärssystem. Studiens resultat visar även på att digitaliseringen har haft en stor inverkan på privatpersoners sätt att placera. Fler personer har genom digitaliseringen fått möjlighet till att kunna investera och intresset har vuxit markant. Fler personer idag är även mer riskbenägna än tidigare på grund av den goda börsutvecklingen de senaste 10 åren. The study has been based on a deductive approach, as the interviews have been analyzed based on the theories in the frame of reference. This is to answer the study's purpose and questions. Conclusion: Major banks can become more competitive by improving their digital solutions, working more proactively and applying more agile business systems. The results of the study also show that digitalization has had a major impact on the way individuals invest. Through digitalization, more people have got the opportunity to invest and the interest in investments has grown significantly. More people today are also more risk-averse than before due to the good stock market development over the past 10 years. The first part is focusing on the theoretical knowledge associated with this topic. Second part, using theoretical knowledge, is focusing on the analysis on the current situation in the company. In the internet area and on the overall marketing strategy situation. From these facts and dates we found out is created the 3th and last part of these diploma thesis which is focused on the suggestion for improvement a marketing strategy. These improvement, should lead to the acquisition to some new costumers, increase a profit for the company and increase a competitiveness of the company on the market.
