La construction de la conjugalité chez des conjoints de couples formés sur des sites de rencontre en ligne : une perspective interactionniste symbolique

Le couple est le commencement de la famille, la cellule fondamentale de la société et un des principaux lieux de solidarité pour les individus. Or, depuis quelques années l’irruption d’internet a permis l’instauration de rapports sociaux nouveaux que l’on peut identifier dans les façons de rencontrer quelqu’un ou de tomber amoureux. L’apparition des sites de rencontre a notamment permis à des individus de pouvoir faire la rencontre amoureuse de l’autre sur un site dédié et à convenance. Cette étude vise à une meilleure compréhension du phénomène social qu’est la construction de la conjugalité à partir de la rencontre sur des sites dédiés sur internet et partant des représentations des participants interrogés. Notre but était également de démontrer comme l’a souligné Marie-Chantal Doucet (2009) que l’action de l’individu sur les sites de rencontre en ligne n’est pas le fait de déterminations mais qu’il bénéficie plutôt d’une marge de jeu, lui permettant d’interpréter les codes et de donner un sens à ses actions et aux actions des autres car l’individu sur les sites de rencontre en ligne joue un personnage. Pour mener à bien cette étude, nous avons adopté un cadre théorique qui s’inscrit dans la perspective de l’interactionnisme symbolique en nous appuyant sur une approche par théorisation ancrée. Il ressort entre autre de l’enquête qualitative que nous avons menée que la construction conjugale est surtout le fruit de la rencontre en face à face car la rencontre en ligne proprement dite est marquée par le stigma et la marchandisation des corps que proposent les sites de rencontre ne sont pas propice au sentiment d’intimité favorable au développement du lien conjugal. / The couple is at the beginning of the family, which is the fundamental cell of the society and one of the main places of people solidarity. Though, from a few years, the inrush of internet has favoured the establishment of new social rules in relationship that we can identify in the new way of encountering somebody or fall into love. The appearance of dating websites has namely favoured to individuals to encounter a partner on a website at the convenience. This study aims to a better understanding of the social phenomenon of the marrital construction from the meeting from a dating website and going from the own perceptions of the participants interviewed. Our purpose was to demonstrate as Marie-Chantal Doucet (2009) that the action of the individual on the dating websites was not due to some determinations but benefited rather of a scope allowing him to perform codes and to make clear senses to his action as to the others actions because the individual is performing a character on the dating website. In order to carry out this study, we have adopted a theoretical framework which is a part of the symbolic interactionism perspective by supporting an grounded theory approach. It emerses from the qualitative method that we have carried out that the marrital construction is, above all, the result of the face to face dating after dating the partner on the dating website because dating on a website is still labelled by a stigma and it is the place of the human body commoditification that the dating website are not conducive to the feeling of closeness which favor the development of a matrimonial bond.

Le divorce comme objet d’étude littéraire, la proposition peut surprendre. La répartition distributive des champs et des domaines de pensée exigerait que l’on en fasse, au choix, le sujet d’une réflexion historique, politique, juridique, sociale ou morale. De littérature, il n’est en revanche point question. En 1884, la réhabilitation du divorce dans la législation française est pourtant l’œuvre d’une combinatoire inédite entre politique et littérature. Depuis les tribunes et les colonnes des journaux, dans les essais et dans les livres, la narration des malheurs matrimoniaux d’hommes et de femmes pris dans les tenailles de la loi, se débattant contre une fatalité civile qui contraint leur vie privée et conjugale, crie en faveur du démariage. Alors que les liens entre le récit et la revendication d’une désunion légale sont séculaires, noués notamment dans les œuvres de George Sand, le combat de plumes mené contre l’indissolubilité du mariage va significativement révolutionner la pensée de la littérature à thèse, encourager une réflexion sur la fonction de l’écrivain, sur son rapport au droit, et démontrer le pouvoir de la littérature sur les mœurs et sur la rédaction des lois. Outil d’analyse précieux pour comprendre le fait intellectuel, littéraire et narratif des débuts de la IIIe République, le motif du démariage sert de plus l’étude de la représentation de la conjugalité dans le récit français de la fin du XIXe siècle. Devenu légal, le divorce bouleverse en effet l’imaginaire du récit de mœurs privées et inaugure de nouvelles situations narratives : la rencontre avec l’ancien époux, la jalousie du nouveau mari, la seconde nuit de noces, le passé sexuel de la femme deviennent bientôt les lieux communs et les lois narratives du genre. La promulgation du divorce éprouve néanmoins rudement les coutumes narratives françaises : en offrant une solution au récit d’adultère, le divorce brise un modèle narratif séculaire, et oblige le récit à repenser ses fatalités et ses formes. / Divorce as an object of literary study, the proposal may surprise. The distinctiveness of fields and areas of research requires that a choice be made to study the question from a historical, political, legal, social or moral point of view. Literature, however, is never even considered. In 1884, the rehabilitation of divorce in French legislation was the result of an unusual combination of politics and literature. From the editorials and columns of the newspapers, in essays and in books, the narration of matrimonial misfortunes of men and women caught strangled by the law, wrestling against a civil inevitability that constrains their private and conjugal life, clamors for un-marriage. While the ties between literature and the claims for legal disunion are secular, linked in the works of George Sand, the battle of pens fighting against the indissolubility of marriage will significantly change the thinking of engaged literature and encourage a reasoning on the role of the writer, his relation to the law, and to demonstrate the power of literature on morals and the drafting of legislation.As a valuable analytical tool to understand the intellectual, literary and narrative aspects of the beginnings of the Third Republic, the un-marriage topic can be used to study the representation of conjugality in the French narrative of the end of the 19th century. Henceforth legal, divorce in fact transforms the imagination of literature on private morals and inaugurates new narrative situations: the encounter with the former husband, the jealousy of the new husband, the second wedding night, and the sexual past of the woman, all soon become common practice in the literary genre. The promulgation of divorce nevertheless rudely tests French narrative customs: by offering a solution to stories of adultery, divorce breaks a secular narrative model, and obliges literature to rethink its fatalities and its forms.

Nascendo pais: a transição para a parentalidade em reprodução assistida (RA) / Being born parents: the transistion for the parenthood in assisted reproductive therapy (ART)

From the approach of the theoretical boarding of Sociohistoric Psychological of Vygotsky, it was explored symbolic conception of genre to implement a perspective denaturalizing of maternity and of the paternity where the concept of the identities was evaluated of masculine and feminine genre that they had been if modifying throughout the years, through social behaviors on sexuality and reproduction. And in which one searched to apprehend meanings and felingst through open interview in depth, with three couples infertile heterosexuals whom had submitted treatment of ART and has a first son (s) already born at least for one year in a private clinic, in a city near the city of São Paulo. Thus being: Couple 1 Ana (35, degree in Adm) and Bruno (38, graduated in law); they are married for 6 years and have a couple of twin children of 2 years of age. Couple 2 - Carla (39, degree in Adm) and Daniel (44, high school degree, works with commerce); they are married for 13 years and have a son of 2 and a half years. Couple 3 - Elsa (36, degree in Computer Science) and Fábio (34, degree in Computer Science); they are married for 7 years and have a son of 2 years. Readings of the collected date had been made that they had allowed a process of aglutination of 66 pré-indicators, for the similarity, complementary or contraposition. After this process had gotten a lesser diversity of subjects, being able itself to agglutinate in 29 indicators. To leave of the reverse speed-reading of the material, the joint process was made that resulted in the organization of meaning core: (1) treatment of ART, pregnancy and childbirth; (2) conjugality; (3) spirituality; (4) family relationships and (5) parenthood. To leave of the partner-historical context of the conjugal and parental bows, we understand the existing relations between conjugality e parentahood of men and women who had had son (s) through ART. The treatment of ART produces the construction of personal directions and redimension the meanings of the transistion for parenthood. The studied couples continue in the condition of infertile although they have children. The representation of the biological bond (implied: to conceive, pregnancy and childbirth) for confirmation of the sort identities is the main reason that leads the couples to the ART services taking them, to neglect the adoption or to remain without children. The idea of nature in its ideological function it strengthens the moral order and it generates culpability. It can be hypothesing that emotional problems are decurrent of not development of parenthood, that is of the relation of the children with the adults, because many men and women did not desire to have children, they only wanted to be father and mother, to confirm its femininity and manhood. We conclude that denaturalizing the meanings of feminine/maternity e masculine/paternity they had extended our perspectives of the understanding of the relations of sort and its repercussions on the subjectivity in the contemporaneousness / Neste estudo, buscou-se refletir acerca dos impactos da infertilidade na subjetividade de homens e mulheres que se submeteram e tiveram filhos através de RA; e sobre o processo de transição da conjugalidade para a parentalidade após o nascimento do filho. A partir do enfoque da abordagem teórica da Psicologia Sócio-Histórica de Vygotsky, explorou-se a concepção simbólica de gênero para implementar uma perspectiva desnaturalizadora da maternidade e da paternidade em que avaliou-se o conceito das identidades de gênero masculino e feminino que foram se modificando ao longo dos anos, através de condutas sociais sobre sexualidade e reprodução. E na qual buscou-se apreender os significados e sentidos através de entrevista aberta em profundidade, com três casais heterossexuais inférteis que se submeteram a tratamento de RA e têm um primeiro filho(s) já nascido há pelo menos um ano numa clínica privada, numa cidade próxima a cidade de São Paulo. Assim sendo: Casal 1 Ana (35 a, grau de escolaridade superior- Adm) e Bruno (38 a, grau de escolaridade superior, adv); são casados há 6 anos e têm um casal de filhos gêmeos de 2 anos de idade. Casal 2 - Carla (39 a, grau de escolaridade superior, Adm ) e Daniel (44 a, grau de escolaridade nível médio, comerciante); são casados há 13 anos e têm um filho de 2 anos e meio. Casal 3 - Elsa (36 a, grau de escolaridade superior, Informática) e Fábio (34 a, grau de escolaridade superior, Informática); são casados há 7 anos e têm uma filha de 2 anos. Foram feitas leituras dos dados coletados que permitiram um processo de aglutinação dos 66 pré-indicadores, pela similaridade, complementaridade ou contraposição. Após esse processo obtiveram-se uma menor diversidade de temas, podendo-se aglutinar em 29 indicadores. A partir da re-leitura do material, foi feito o processo de articulação que resultou na organização dos núcleos de significação: (1) tratamento de RA, gravidez e parto; (2) conjugalidade; (3) espiritualidade; (4) relacionamentos familiares e (5) parentalidade. A partir da contextualização sócio-histórica dos laços conjugais e parentais, compreendemos as relações existentes entre a conjugalidade e a parentalidade de homens e mulheres que tiveram filho(s) através de RA. O tratamento de RA produz a construção de sentidos pessoais e redimensiona os significados da transição para a parentalidade. Os casais estudados continuam na condição de inférteis apesar de terem filhos. A representação do vínculo biológico (subentendido: conceber, gravidez e parto) para confirmação das identidades de gênero é a principal razão que conduz os casais aos serviços de RA levando-os, assim, a preterir a adoção ou permanecer sem filhos. A idéia de natureza em sua função ideológica reforça a ordem moral e gera culpabilidade. Pode-se hipotetizar que problemas emocionais são decorrentes do não desenvolvimento da parentalidade, ou seja da relação das crianças com os adultos, porque muitos homens e mulheres não desejavam ter filhos, só queriam ser pai e mãe, para confirmar sua feminilidade e masculinidade. Concluímos que desnaturalizar as significações de feminino/maternidade e masculino/paternidade ampliaram nossas perspectivas da compreensão das relações de gênero e de suas repercussões sobre a subjetividade na contemporaneidade

Cette recherche interroge les conditions de structuration et de perduration d’un engagement séparé pour les femmes dans les organisations et au sein de mobilisations agricoles bretonnes. Majoritairement composés d’exploitantes installées en couple et situés à la frontière entre associations de défense de l’égalité, cercles de sociabilités professionnelles et groupes de parole, les espaces d’encadrement agricole féminins offrent une occasion idoine de questionner non seulement l’imbrication des identités professionnelles et conjugales dans l’engagement mais également la labilité des usages rhétoriques de l'égalité et du féminisme dans des espaces professionnels non-mixtes. L’analyse de leur position dans l’espace de la représentation agricole questionne le degré d’autonomie des revendications portées au nom des agricultrices, leur influence sur les agendas organisationnels et leur effet sur la construction des carrières militantes. L’enquête s’appuie sur un dispositif cumulant une observation de quatre années des activités formelles et informelles des groupes féminins, une étude de leur documentation professionnelle, un recensement de leurs tribunes dans la presse agricole, auxquels s’ajoutent la réalisation d’entretiens avec les actrices qui y sont engagées et la constitution de données statistiques relatives aux mandats féminins dans les organisations agricoles bretonnes depuis 1990. Sur la base d’une analyse croisant les études de genre, la sociologie du militantisme et celle de la représentation professionnelle agricole, notre thèse consiste à démontrer que les groupes et mobilisations d’agricultrices forgent les contours d’une « cause de femmes » agricole mise sous tutelle des intérêts catégoriels et chevillée à l’idéal normatif de la complémentarité des sexes. En tant que réceptacles de positions professionnelles, organisationnelles et conjugales entrecroisées, les espaces de l’engagement féminin produisent des politisations ambivalentes de ces appartenances multiples, à la fois porteuses de contestation comme de reproduction des hiérarchies sexuées et de l’ordre social et politique. / This research looks into the conditions for the structuring and continuation of a separate female activism within Breton organisations and farmers mobilisations. Mainly made up of professionals living in couples and situated at the intersection between gender equality advocacy groups, professional networks and support groups, farming self-help groups are a case in point to question not only the intertwining of professional and marital identities within activism but also the lability of rhetorical uses of equality and feminism within women-only professional spaces. The analysis of their position within the farmers’ representation spaces makes it compelling to question the degree of autonomy of the claims made in the name of women farmers, their influence upon the setting of professional agendas and their impact on the development of activist careers.Evidence was collected through an apparatus which consisted in the addition of a four-year-long observation of female groups’ formal and informal activities, an analysis of their professional literature, an inventory of their opinion columns inside the farm press, to which can be added semi-structured interviews with women farmers engaged in this activism and the setting up of statistical data about female mandates within Breton farm organisations since the 1990s. Drawing on an analysis which mixes gender studies, sociology of militancy and studies of farming professional representation, this PhD aims to demonstrate that women farmers groups and mobilisations shape the features of a farming “women cause” although it is subordinated to corporatist interests and seen through the lenses of the normative ideal of complementarity between the sexes. Being a repository of interlinked professional, organisational and matrimonial standpoints, female activism spaces lead to the ambivalent politicisation of plural belongings. These multiple affiliations can be a catalyst for protest as well as a way to reproduce sexual hierarchies and social and political order.
