Développement d'une méthode d'évaluation de la performance environnementale des innovations incrémentales / Development of an evaluation method of the environmental performance of incremental innovations

Garcia, Julien 13 January 2015 (has links)
Cette thèse vise donc à expérimenter, chez un constructeur d’automobiles, une stratégie d’intégrationde l’évaluation environnementale d’innovations incrémentales nommée E3PICS (Methodology of an Evolutiveintegration of the Evaluation of the Environmental Performances of Innovative Complex Sub-systems). / Sustainable development is the conceptualization of transition imposed from human society towards a sustainableway of development for the world to find a solution to the crisis of the Environment. In this regard, ecodesign isone of the solutions that the industrial and business world proposes to implement. It consists of taking into accountthe environmental impacts throughout the life cycle of a product (good or service) in the design of it. Integratingthe Environment dimension raises a triple complexity: (i) the one related to the multi-criteria nature of theEnvironment dimension, (ii) the one related to understanding the Environment dimension by actors designingproducts who may resist and be a barrier to successful integration, and (iii) the one related to process design andinnovation of a product, especially in the case of complex products. But despite the multitude of ecodesign toolsthat has been developed, few research topics are interested in taking into account both technical and organizationalaspects, while integrating environment in the innovation phase of a complex product. Therefore this thesis aims toexperiment, by a car manufacturer, an integration strategy of the environmental evaluation of incrementalinnovations, named E3PICS (Methodology of an Evolutive integration of the Evaluation of the EnvironmentalPerformances of Innovative Complex Sub-systems). Framed by constraints on the technical and organizationalconstraints, E3PICS strategy employs a progressive approach to integrate a scalable ecodesign repository inadvanced process engineering of innovative features that are connected to development projects vehicles. The firststep is the iterative design of the scalable ecodesign repository with the ecodesign team (in the EnvironmentDepartment) and innovation leaders, allowing cross learning. The second step is to accompany all the innovationleaders in the systematic use of the ecodesign repository. The third step is to develop an analytical tool for assessingthe impact of innovations on the recycling end of life vehicles. It requires the creation of models of vehicles tobypass the lack of data on the complete system under design and project impact. The fourth and final step is thedevelopment of a second analytical tool for assessing the impact of innovations on environmental performanceover the life cycle of vehicles. Similarly, the tool requires a method of developing environmental models ofvehicles; however, for environmental impacts calculated on the life cycle, unlike recyclability which is calculatedon the vehicle end of life, these models are based on the treatment by hierarchical clustering of vehicle life cycleassessment results . The experiments were performed at PSA Peugeot Citroen. The E3PICS strategy has helped tointegrate the processes of innovation using the eco-design repository and systematize its use in the context of asustainable continuous improvement of vehicle manufacturer.

Modelagem sistêmica do processo de melhoria contínua de processos industriais utilizando o método seis sigma e redes de Petri. / Systemic modeling of industrial processes continuous improvement through Six Sigma method and Petri nets.

Bruno Oliveira Mororó 24 October 2008 (has links)
The globalization strengthens the necessity for companies to improve its processes and products in order to remains competitive and to attend expectations of a dynamic market and shareholders each time more demanding and eager to maximize their profits. The continuous improvement mentioned above, is not related only to the quality perceived by the final consumer, but also to the quality and reliability of the production processes. Therefore, as better processe the company gets, as better would be their final products and as lower would be the costs. However, the question is wheter a continuous improvement using Six Sigma could benefit from the design documentation for the target process returning also an improved documentation after the cycle is completed. This work considers the use of Petri Nets for production processes modeling - even if any other design and modeling representation would return similar results - supporting the Six Sigma methodology application. The main result is a proposition of continuous improvement life cycle that maintains the design documentation consistent and up-to-date. Thus, this work pursuits the integration between the teams that design processes and those who implement them in the manufacturing plant. To show the potential of the models analysis during Six Sigma projects a case study is analyzed for the Press Shop area in an Automotive Industry.

Aplicação da árvore da realidade atual para a identificação de oportunidades de melhoria em uma unidade de pesquisa clínica / Current Reality Tree application for identifying opportunities for improvement in clinical research site.

Monique Tonani Novaes 30 September 2015 (has links)
Cooperation among a diverse group of stakeholders, including: research, sponsors industry, academia, government, nonprofit organizations, clinical investigators, patients, physicians, and regulators is necessary in conducting a clinical trial today. The investigators and sites where clinical studies are conducted, should be able to manage it all those things, so they can conduct clinical studies to ensure the accuracy and quality of data as well the safety of research subjects. In pursuit of continuous improvement of an organization\'s performance, Theory of Constraints operates through management actions on bottlenecks, with tools that can assist in the understanding of a complex problem, among them is the Current Reality Tree (CRT). It is important to make a diagnosis of the organization\'s internal environment, and before the changes and effectively interventions in organizations. Finding a problem leads to the identification of an opportunity to improve process. The aim of this study is to verify if the Current Reality Tree can assist the management of a clinical research site, since it is a complex problem, pointing out opportunities for improvement. For this, we conducted a study case in the Clinical Research Unit (UPC) HCFMRP-USP, being applied all steps from CRT methodology. As a result, it was built ARA, identified 257 Undesirable Effects (EIs) and 04 root causes of these effects, which together are the core problems. For each of the root causes was proposed a plan of action. With this it has been concluded that the use of the ARA was efficient under clinical research, one could summarize the main opportunities for improvement of a site, and direct the efforts of managers in specific and strategic actions.

Erlandsson, Anette January 2001 (has links)

Contribution à l’implantation de la méthode Lean Six Sigma dans les Petites et Moyennes Entreprises pour l’amélioration des processus / Contribution to the implantation of the Lean Six Sigma method in the Small and Medium Enterprises to improve the process

Leseure - Zajkowska, Ewa 14 December 2012 (has links)
As well as the large companies, also the small and medium-sized enterprises desire to take advantage of modern management methods to improve their process, their performances and competitiveness. The interest of the SMEs is focused on the elements of the Lean Six Sigma concept that seem to be appropriate to achieve these goals. As we have identified a gap in the research on this topic and a methodological gap about the LSS implementation in the small and medium companies, we propose a methodology that we called LSS Plutus to design, apply and control Lean Six Sigma in the SMEs. It is dedicated to the small and medium production enterprises and it takes into account their specificity. For this purpose, we have limited the traditional LSS toolbox used by the large companies. We have also created two variants to apply our methodology according to the different needs, capacities and maturities of the SMEs. We have developed indicators, tools, as well as a practical guide for applying the LSS for the production SMEs and its computerized version in TIBCO. To enhance the efficiency of the improvements, we have deployed the planning, standardization and sustainability of the changes. For this purpose, we propose to modify the criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model in order to adapt it to the operating conditions of the Lean Six Sigma method in the SMEs. The proposed methodology has been verified in two production SMEs in Poland and in France that confirmed its utility and effectiveness in terms of performance improvement and organizational development
