Critérios para o design de estação de trabalho informatizada residencial / Criteria for the design of computerized residential workstation

Mengatto, Suzete Nancy Filipak 01 June 2012 (has links)
This study investigates the computerized workstation incorporated to the residential place. The technology of equipment of informatics replaced the importance given to the writing-desk. The place taken by the old writing desk -- which attended the house administration -- started to compete with the computer work place besides its peripheral pieces and office materials needed for writing, reading as well as its handling. The computer use has spread due to the easy credit and access to the communication and information means. Through a marketing survey, three l different segments were identified for acquisition of the workstations that lodge the computer in residences: furniture for corporative place with integrated systems to supply the work needs; compact furniture\'s for residences that do not have rooms to enlarging the work area; furniture under measure as an option for home offices and workstations integrated to bedrooms. A survey was done on the printed and virtual media to know the offering and acquisition conditions of this furniture. Considering the lack, in the market, of computerized residential workstations, surveys about residential installations were made through photos of a sample of users that use computers at home for communication, study, reading, research, bank transactions, house administration, shopping, etc. The data set, assembled in the survey, provided the formulation of design-concept that indicates the qualitative criteria needed to the design of computerized workstation with residential characteristics.

Pradinių klasių mokinių fizinio išsivystymo ir rizikos veiksnių sąsajos / Primary school pupils in physical development and risk factors for interface

Klimaitė, Vaida 17 August 2012 (has links)
The Bachelor’s thesis analyses students physical development and risk factors influence for posture. One of the risk – school backpacks, other – properly selected school desk by the student's height. The analysis includes Radviliškio Vinco Kudirkos 82 urban and rural primary school pupils. The analysis instruments were used to determine the weight of students to school and study on the lessons brought along the necessary items backpack weight. Configuration management data base in an information and communication technology environment / T.J. Medupe.

Medupe, Tsietsi Jacob January 2009 (has links)
There are more requirements for business to be able to run its operations successfully in terms of legal compliance and revenue streams optimisations. Businesses are placing high demands on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to adapt to changing conditions. However, ICT organisations tasked with providing increased service levels at lower costs do not have the resources to reinvent itself with every technological or regulatory change. Without frameworks in place to leverage automation and best practices, these ICT, organisations are consumed with the day-to-day operations of ICT with little time and few resources left to develop new services that add value to the business. There is, therefore, a definite requirement for a central repository system in order to enhance ICT service delivery and strategy for continuing to improve service, lowering per-service delivery costs and enabling ICT organisations to bring new services that support competitive advantages. The company of choice in the study is Sentech, which has recently adopted some of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes; these are service desk, incident management, and change management. The company is still in the middle of deciding on whether to implement the configuration management process which will eventually lead to Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This study attempted to indicate the role and the importance of running the CMDB together with the rest of other ITI L processes. The study also indicated how the other processes cannot function effectively without a proper CMDB platform. The primary objective of the study was to identify the importance and the role of CMDB in an ICT environment. The organisation implemented a number of processes such as configuration and change management. To be successful with using the ITIL change management process, it is important that the people, processes, and technologies work together in a coordinated manner to overcome the political roadblocks that usually inhibit cooperation between groups in the same organisation. The study has indicated that the current ITIL processes, such as change management are not achieving the required results due to a lack of proper CMDB. General recommendations on the implementation of the CMOB based on the study were: •Get executive and Board of Directors' support on the implementation of CMOB. •The organisation needs to redefine the role of the General Manager - ICT to a more appropriate role of Chief Information Officer reporting directly to the board. •The organisation must define detailed business processes and procedures. •The organisation must set a clear scope of the CMOB. •The relevant stakeholders on the CMOB must be identified . •A full state of the current ICT processes must be determined. •The business case on the CMOS must be formulated and documented. •Set goals on what the CMOB will have to achieve. •The organisation must create a plan on the implementation of the CMOB. •Identify responsibilities on maintaining the CMOS. •Create awareness within the organisation around CMOB. •Training on CMOB must be offered to the personnel. •The organisation must baseline all ICT assets. •Plan for ongoing management of the CMOB. It is believed that the objective of the study has been met. From the investigation, it has been clear that there is a dire need for an implementation of a central repository system like the CMOS to support other service delivery and support processes. If the recommendations are implemented within Sentech, the company will secure a more effective and efficient service delivery on the ICT platform. Furthermore, Sentech can become an ICT leader and gain a competitive advantage over its fellow competitors. / Thesis (M.B.A.)--North-West University, Vaal Triangle Campus, 2010.

This work aimed to investigate how the changes in the presentation scene of television news, which include the withdrawal of the news desk as the main scenic element and the movement and positioning of the anchorperson in the studio, are attempts to get closer to the viewer, to establish bonds of belonging and relationships of identity with its audience. In empirical research we evaluated the changes adopted by MGTV 1st Edition, aired by Integration TV of Juiz de Fora, station affiliated to Globo TV. It interested us to see if the fall of the news desk broke the obstacles, the barriers between enunciator and enunciatee. We also proposed to observe weather the new scene utilized resources like staging and informality to create a climate of affection and intimacy between anchors, reporters and the advisors that circulate in the scenario, aiming to strengthen the simulacra of interactivity and effects of presence. The study was based on the contemporary concept of identities and their crises to reveal how the media, in particular the television, take ownership of this fragmented environment to provide elements in the process of identification and identity reconstruction. We approached in this research the relations of the TV, the television news, the anchorpersons and the new scene, in the construction of a dialogical relationship with the audience. The methodology is founded on the analysis of the television news, taken as the object, as in the ways of the offer of information and interpellation of the audience. Through the dramaturgy of television journalism and the textual analysis, we evaluated the weight that each enunciator takes over the possibility of movement established with the space provided by the news desk. For this, we went up the path toward the observation of the individuals’ behavior and their interactions in the scene, their dialogue with the viewer, and how they appropriate the movement in the scene for their presentification toward the audience. From the formation of a focal group, it was intended to incorporate the opinions of the recipient regarding the changes experienced. Based on this insight, we intend to understand the linkages of belonging that the television news weaves with the public and the perception that the viewers have of the approximation strategies adopted by the broadcaster / program. The clipping set encompassed eleven programs ranging from the premiere and the first year of implementing the change in the form of presentation in a local television news, produced and aired on a broadcast of a medium- sized city in the Zona da Mata area, in the state of Minas Gerais.
