No. of bitstreams: 1 Ana Beatriz de Almeida.pdf: 2729738 bytes, checksum: 5dd2a2f79b96116b2a2534fcd2b3962d (MD5) Previous issue date: 2018-09-17 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The increase of the elderly population, in the country and in the whole world, has contributed to significant changes in the economic, cultural and political scenario of Brazil. Changes that influence not only the present and our daily life, since many occurred as a reflection of the past, which interfered and changed the life, history and memories of countless old people who, as young people, fought, faced and defended that which they believed was the way to get to the political landscape we have today. Old people who were part of the democratic construction that governs our political system in the present, through resistance against one of the historical periods known as the lead years, the civil-military dictatorship. Thus, through the retrieval of these stories and memories, the main objective of this research is to identify the importance of the memories of old people who once struggled against the civil-military dictatorship in Brazil, as well as to show the importance of a study that considers individuals elderly people as protagonists of works on the theme of "civil-military dictatorship" and their respective memories of a past of intense political, economic and social upheavals that in some way influenced the life of these militants of the time, who are now elderly. , also, presents the importance of rescuing these memories and giving voice to those old people who are often excluded and marginalized due to a culture in which the elderly are not valued. It is a documentary research and bibliographic review, in which the data collection was developed in the period from August 2017 to February 2018, in which scientific productions were identified, as well as magazines, newspapers, documentaries, public collections, such as the Memorial of the Resistance of São Paulo and the National Commission of the Truth on the thematic of stories of people who fought against the civil-military dictatorship, and that today they are considered old. Finally, it is possible to reflect on the importance of hearing and recording stories and memories like these and to show how much the period of civil-military dictatorship still interferes in the lives of these elderly people who seek, in different ways, to fight and face the traumas and the pains of the past / O aumento da população idosa, no país e em todo mundo, tem contribuído para que haja mudanças significativas no cenário econômico, cultural e político do Brasil.

The field of Brazilian culture during the period of the Brazilian military dictatorship (1964-1985), was gradually invaded by certain types of confusing publications: the erotic and pornographic magazines. These helped to shape and form the identities, especially in regard to the issue of sexuality and masculinity, establishing trading channels in the modernization of customs, in a conservative reform. Thus, the period of pornography incorporated ways to normalize the reader of magazines through placements, contributions from readers and forms of resistance through anonymity and banned publications. As a result, diluted in a gray area of a more complex and contradictory process, various statements coming from the company tried to create a “true” speech about sex, which eventually assimilated by the market, and we intend to denude. From the genealogical historical thought of Michel Foucault, we seek to indicate that the pornography while "disorder of speech" created room for different views that are contrary to the homogenizing discourse of masculinity. The audience of these magazines is proved large and had high school students, older mans and womans, "gay", generals, younger womens, doctors and priests who had read and issued discourses on these two groups of apparently distincts periodicals: the softcore magazines with speech normalizing, like: Ele Ela (1969), Status (1974), A revista do Homem (1975), this which was transformed in the magazine call Playboy (1978) - and a more explicit, the hardcore magazine, transgressive discourses and mostly consumed by the lower classes: the "cathecisms" of Carlos Zéfiro (from the 50s to 70s, in Rio de Janeiro), the publications of Edrel (São Paulo-SP) and Grafipar (Curitiba-PR) publishers. These indicated periodics help us to understand this identity statement of the modern man.

This research aims to present the professional career of José Garrido Torres and, from it, understand the debate on the economic development in Brazil between the early 1940s and the first half of the 1970s.
