Projekt rozvoje cestovního ruchu na Havlíčkobrodsku / Project for Development of Tourism in Havlíčkobrodsko

ČERNÁ, Aneta January 2013 (has links)
The first part of the thesis focused on the theoretical background. The process was a literature review that explains the economic importance of tourism, demand and supply in tourism, focusing on the issues of the project and explains destination management, regional development and craftsmanship. Further was made characteristic of craft and its history. The second part consists of a field survey and the project. Field survey consisted of structured interviews and questionnaires of visitors and artisans. The structured interviews and questionnaires helped to summarize an idea of how craft fairs should be properly organized and what is their reality. The actual project consists of manual organization of traditional craft fairs and its application to the crafts market which can be organized in Ždírec nad Doubravou as the town which wants to organize this event. The project is focused mainly on the financial page, promotion and accompanying program. It means those weaknesses, which were perceived in organizing craft fairs in the Havlíčkobrodsko.

Therefore, it is an important methodology in the development of new skills for students, while at the same time the realization of these Science Fairs creates a space for the development of scientific culture. In this way, our great questioning starts from the constant transformations in which society lives, in particular, the contemporary demands for the performance of the Physics teacher in Basic Education. Starting from the experiential school context of Basic Education, does the experimental activities help in the quality of the teaching of Physics by the students? Given these reasons and in the way of teaching and learning, we thought of a proposal of work that we could analyze the use of experimental activities of Physics that will be presented in a Science Fair for the understanding of the contents. With this, the following problematic emerged: what are the contributions of experimental Physics activities, which will be used in Science Fairs, in a Basic Education school, to understand the contents and training of high school students? As the formation of the physicist-educator continues to be rethought with the focus of training teachers with a solid knowledge and able to make physics a pleasurable science, since this is seen by many students as difficult or bogeyman. We understand that the use of experimental activities is of utmost importance for a science such as physics. Thus, we aim to analyze the use of experimental activities in the understanding of Physics contents by students who participated in an exhibition of Science Fairs, from planning, through execution to culmination, at a state school in the municipality of Cubati -PB. To verify that it does not necessarily have to pass through the domain of its more complex language, that is, of mathematical formalism only; Does require some scientific knowledge, but that should allow the understanding of its consequences for people's daily lives. In this way, when understanding the world and participating in decisions have citizenship, and also a way to participate in power.

Eventos/feiras de negócios na (re)produção do espaço urbano da metrópole: estudo de caso do Parque Anhembi e Centro de Exposições Imigrantes / Events/ Businesses fairs in the (re)production of the urban space in the big city: the case of Parque Anhembi and Centro de Exposições Imigrantes

Fabio Cezar Braz 23 June 2008 (has links)
The production of the urban space, in the plan of the physical space, is the materialization of the intentions and determination of agent multiples, which drive the destinies of the city for the purpose of the capital, guiding it for a autophagic planning that promotes image of the efficiency, a representation of the space that produced with the intention of selling the city, reinforces the characteristics of global city and opens possibility for the economical agents´ performance to put in practice tactics-strategies of reproduction of the capital in the space. The concept, the consensus that is produced on the city or its fragments, is induced and at the same time inductors of structures, rhythms and of a materiality that expressed itself in the current capitalistic space, conforming the representation spaces, that for its time potentiates the representation of that space. Such representation reinforces São Paulo as destiny of events and businesses. A logic that reveals a \"management of the urban administration\", a \"neodirigismo\" that appears for the construction of a city more and more \"finds strange\" to the that inhabit in it. The capital is spatially selective and search to fasten in the most dynamic centers of the global economy. It produces, therefore, \"homogeneous spaces\", \"fragmented\" and \"hierarchized.\" The competition is shown intransigent among the cities. The public power together with the private initiative put into practice several strategies for the reception of great events and businesses´fairs, attracting investments of every order, fomenting the flow of the tourism of businesses, segment that corresponds to the support of the whole chain of tourism of the capital. In this horizon, to study the great spaces of events / businesses´fairs in the relationship with the urban space of São Paulo shown itself instigate. In the analysis starts itself of the industrialization process and of its distract of the urban space of the city, being a form of placing the birth of the industrial fairs. These fairs were important to reinforce the marks of the national industry, enlarging the businesses and contributing to insert Brazil in the world market. The object of the research understands two of the largest enclosures of events of the city, the Parque Anhembi and the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes, each one of them with their particularities and context. The analysis shows the relationship of those enclosures with the dynamism of the city in its totality, involving the economical, political and social dimensions. And reveals its participation in the process of (re)production of the urban space of the North and South areas, in the areas that surround the Parque Anhembi and the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes, respectively.

PEGANDO FEIRA : TROCAS, RECIPROCIDADE E MERCADO NO FEIRÃO COLONIAL EM SANTA MARIA, RS / GOING TO THE FAIR : EXCHANGES, RECIPROCITY AND MARKET IN COLONIAL FAIR IN SANTA MARIA, RS

Oliveira, Silvana Silva de 20 May 2015 (has links)
Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul / The reflections resented in this thesis come from an ethnographic research conducted in 2013 and 2014, with peasants selling food in an urban colonial fair, located in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul (RS). The study was based on the following question: How do peasants who market their production in Feirão Colonial (Colonial Fair) in Santa Maria, RS, dialogue with market practices? . Thus, the research aimed to analyze the development, which is gradual and full of cultural components, of knowledge related to business at the Fair, as well as the practices and tactics employed by farmers in selling their items. Thus, the specific objectives were: to verify the negotiations that take place between merchants and consumers, as well as between the fairground; to observe the social relationships; and to identify the knowledge circulating in the Fair. We observed that the way peasants are entered into the market accepts its logic, which is learned from the experience at the Fair but does not mean, however, the transformation of the peasant into a capitalist, since attitudes are differentiated. That means many fairgrounds has a familiar mode of production and works in the Fair to meet the needs of their families, using the gain for this purpose. In addition, we observed that peasantry or the ethos of settler influence on economic behavior. We also noticed how the fair is an important space for sociability and for obtaining knowledge about the urban world, the market and also their condition as peasants.

Using Calcaneal Heel Ultrasounds to Screen for Osteoporosis at Alaska Health Fairs

Guess, Heather 01 January 2018 (has links)
Osteoporosis is a major health problem. The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports national rates of osteoporosis at 13-18% of women and 3-6% of men over age 50, but current evidence suggests that osteoporosis rates in Alaska are more equal between sexes. Known risk factors for osteoporosis that are very common among Alaskans include arthritis and low vitamin D and calcium levels. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scans of the hip and lumbar spine as the gold standard of screening for osteoporosis; however, DXA scans are expensive, not portable, and not practical for screening small populations. Calcaneal heel ultrasound (CHU) scans are a USPSTF-recognized alternative to the DXA scan and can reach these small populations. Guided by the PRECEDE-PROCEED model, this project sought to evaluate the effectiveness of offering CHU scans at health fairs in Alaska. The de-identified data from the CHU dataset (N = 494) were analyzed to determine any differences in bone health based on sex and age. Alaskans over 50 years of age were significantly more likely to have osteopenia or osteoporosis (X2 = 28.2, df =4) than those < 50 years old. No significant difference in bone health as determined by T-scores was noted between men and women, suggesting that Alaskan men should also be screened. Educational materials on bone health were readily available at the health fairs for anyone interested. Health fair attendees are routinely asked for feedback and their responses related to the CHU scan were summarized and were unanimously positive. This project contributes to positive social change by increasing awareness of osteoporosis in Alaskans.
