Religiosidade, crenças e atitudes em idosos deprimidos : em um serviço de saude mental de São Paulo, Brasil / Beliefs and atituds in depression elderley : of mental health service in San Paolo, Brazil

Metodologia: Os dados foram analisados por procedimentos estatísticos descritivos e análise de conteúdo de variáveis sobre depressão, vulnerabilidade e religiosidade. Resultados: Houve correlação entre depressão e um menor poder aquisitivo do indivíduo (p=0,02). Os julgamentos auto-referentes e autocríticos foram mais importantes que os de senso-comum na formação de crenças depressivas. A leitura religiosa foi mais freqüente entre pacientes não deprimidos (p=0,001). A oração configurou-se como a atividade religiosa de maior incidência (95,5%/ N=42). Os idosos apresentaram uma motivação religiosa com características mais intrínsecas que extrínsecas (Md=23,5). Houve uma associação significativa entre a motivação intrínseca e aumento de religiosidade (p=0,01), ocorrido nos últimos dez anos e com motivos principalmente atribuídos à vivência de eventos estressantes. Conclusão: Verificou-se que os idosos deprimidos têm uma qualidade de vida social e econômica pior que os não deprimidos, e que utilizam como comportamento antidepressivo um aumento ou mudança na religiosidade. A tendência para desenvolver julgamentos mais autocríticos entre os idosos deprimidos pode estar associada a uma maior vulnerabilidade cognitiva do indivíduo. Memoria para optar al grado de Licenciado en Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales / La presente memoria propone una reflexión crítica en torno a la aplicación de la vertiente subjetiva de interpretación contractual a actos celebrados entre partes sofisticadas, entendiendo por tales a aquellos agentes expertos que negocian un plano de igualdad y que tienen la aptitud de plasmar genuinamente su voluntad en el texto contractual. En particular, se argumenta a favor de la aplicación de un sistema objetivo de interpretación, que dé primacía a la voluntad declarada por sobre la búsqueda de la voluntad interna de las partes. Para ello, primero se estudian ciertas distinciones elementales en materia de hermenéutica contractual, normas de derecho positivo y el entendimiento de la doctrina tradicional sobre el sistema chileno. En segundo lugar, se delimita el concepto de partes sofisticadas, por medio del estudio de diferentes categorías contractuales, de propuestas doctrinarias y del análisis de normas nacionales que permiten sostener que la sofisticación encuentra reconocimiento en nuestra legislación. Por último, sobre la base de marco conceptual previamente reseñado, se desarrollan argumentos que giran en torno a principios generales del derecho, normas de hermenéutica contractual y consideraciones de índole económica, con el objeto de fundar la necesidad de dar aplicación a un sistema de interpretación objetivo a un contrato celebrado entre partes sofisticadas

Užití kovových materiálů pro selektivní růst / Application of metallic materials for selective growth

The Si(100) surface and Ga surface phases up to 1 ML on their oxidation have been studied by XPS and LEED. The selective growth of Ga on the SiO2/Si structures fabricated by EBL has been analyzed using SEM and AFM methods. It was proved that Ga clusters grow in structures beside the oxide. The structure of alumina on Ni3Al(111) and NiAl(110) substrates was fully determined by combining the results of STM measurements and DFT simulations. It was determined the alumina/NiAl(110) does not form a suitable template for ordered Fe and Co clusters growth. However, the next research confirmed the alumina/Ni3Al(111) forms template appropriate to clusters growth purpose.

The first part is dedicated to the concept of drive as a whole, the second part is dedicated to solving vehicle dynamics. The third part describes the design of mathematical models of drive components. Part four gives the results of simulations of traffic on the route at different ways of managing fuel cells and various vehicle speeds.

Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Components Integration in a PCB Substrate for the Development of a High Density Power Electronics Converter / Intégration dans un substrat PCB de composants à semi-conducteur grand gap pour le développement d’un convertisseur d’électronique de puissance à forte densité

Les nouveaux composants à semi-conducteur de type grand gap ont été développés pour des applications de conversion de puissance en raison de leurs hautes fréquences de commutation (de centaine kHz à quelques MHz) et pertes faibles. Afin de bien profiter ses avantages, la technologie des circuits imprimés (PCB) est intéressante pour une intégration à haute densité de puissance grâce à sa flexibilité et son faible coût. Cependant, à cause de la mauvaise conductivité thermique du matériau FR-4 utilisé pour le substrat PCB et la haute densité de puissance réalisée, il est primordial de trouver des solutions thermiques pour améliorer les performances thermiques de la structure de PCB. Dans cette thèse, trois solutions thermiques pour les structures de PCB ont été proposées, y compris des solutions avec des vias thermiques, de cuivre épais sur le substrat de PCB ainsi que des dispositifs de refroidissement thermoélectrique (TEC). Nos études sont basées sur la modélisation électrothermique et la méthode d’éléments finis en 3D. Tout d’abord, l’optimisation des paramètres des vias (diamètre, épaisseur de placage, surface formée par des vias, la distance entre des vias etc.) a été réalisée pour optimiser l’effet de refroidissement. Ensuite, on constate que les performances thermiques des structures de PCB peuvent être améliorées en utilisant cuivre épais sur le substrat de PCB. Cuivre épais augmente le flux thermique latéral dans la couche de cuivre. Les influences de l’épaisseur de cuivre (35 à 500 µm) ont été étudiées. Cette solution est facile à réaliser et peut être combinée à d’autres solutions de refroidissement. Enfin, le dispositif thermoélectrique comme les modules Peltier est une technologie de refroidissement local. Les influences des paramètres de Peltier (Propriétés du matériau thermoélectrique, nombre d’éléments Peltier, distance entre la source de chaleur et les dispositifs Peltier, etc.) ont été identifiées. Il est démontré que des modules Peltier ont l’application potentielle pour le développement d’intégration de PCB attendu que son active contrôle des températures. / The emerging wide bandgap (WBG) semiconductor devices have been developed for power conversion applications instead of silicon devices due to higher switching frequencies (from few 100 kHz to several MHz) and lower on-state losses resulting in a better efficiency. In order to take full advantage of the WBG components, PCB technology is attractive for high power density integration thanks to its flexibility and low cost. However, due to poor thermal conductivity of the commonly used material Flame Retardant-4 (FR4), efficient thermal solutions are becoming a challenging issue in integrated power boards based on PCB substrates. So it is of the first importance to seek technological means in order to improve the thermal performances. In this thesis, three main thermal management solutions for PCB structures have been investigated including thermal vias, thick copper thickness on the PCB substrate as well as thermoelectric cooling (TEC) devices. Our studies are based on the electro-thermal modeling and 3D finite element (FE) methods. Firstly, optimization of the thermal via parameters (via diameter, via plating thickness, via-cluster surface, via pattern, pitch distance between vias etc.) has been realized to improve their cooing performances. We presented and evaluated thermal performances of the PCB structures by analyzing the thermal resistance of the PCB substrate with different thermal vias. Secondly, it is found that thermal performances of the PCB structures can be enhanced by using thick copper thickness on top of the PCB substrate, which increases the lateral heat flux along the copper layer. Influences of the copper thickness (35 µm to 500 µm) has been discussed. This solution is easy to realize and can be combined with other cooling solutions. Thirdly, thermoelectric cooler like Peltier device is a solid-state cooling technology that can meet the local cooling requirements. Influences of Peltier parameters (Thermoelectric material properties, number of Peltier elements, distance between the heating source and the Peltier devices etc.) have been identified. All these analyses demonstrate the potential application of Peltier devices placed beside the heating source for PCB structures, which is a benefit for developing the embedding technology in such structures.

Para ello se realiza previamente un estudio de todos los elementos que fundan y rodean a la teoría. El trabajo comienza con una revisión general del principio de buena fe procesal con el fin de identificar los fundamentos que respaldan la existencia de la doctrina. Asimismo, se desarrolla una exposición sobre los principales aspectos teóricos de los actos propios de manera de conocer su contenido, naturaleza, requisitos y aplicación, entre otros. Finalmente, el trabajo termina con la exposición y análisis de diferentes sentencias del máximo tribunal que permiten determinar cómo ha sido la recepción de esta teoría en la jurisprudencia chilena.

Bridge Monitoring to Allow for Reliable Dynamic FE Modelling : A Case Study of the New Årsta Railway Bridge

Today’s bridge design work in many cases demands a trustworthy dynamic analysis instead of using the traditional dynamic amplification factors. In this thesis a reliable 3D Bernoulli-Euler beam finite element model of the New Årsta Railway Bridge was prepared for thorough dynamic analysis using in situ bridge monitoring for correlation. The bridge is of the concrete box girder type with a heavily reinforced and prestressed bridge deck. The monitoring system was designed for long term monitoring with strain transducers embedded in the concrete and accelerometers mounted inside the edge beams and at the lower edge of the track slab. The global finite element model used the exact bridge geometry but was simplified regarding prestressing cables and the two railway tracks. The prestressing cables and the tracks were consequently not included and an equivalent pure concrete model was identified. A static macadam train load was eccentrically placed on one of the bridge’s two tracks. By using Vlasov’s torsional theory and thereby including constrained warping a realistic modulus of elasticity for the concrete without prestressing cables and stiffness contribution from the railway tracks was found. This was allowed by comparing measured strain from strain transducers with the linear elastic finite element model’s axial stresses. Mainly three monitoring bridge sections were used, each of which was modelled with plane strain finite elements subjected to sectional forces/moments from a static macadam train load and a separately calculated torsional curvature. From the identified modulus of elasticity the global finite element model was updated for Poisson’s ratio and material density (mass) to correspond with natural frequencies from the performed signal analysis of accelerometer signals. The influence of warping on the natural frequencies of the global finite element model was assumed small and the bridge’s torsional behaviour was modelled to follow Saint-Venant’s torsional theory. A first preliminary estimation of modal damping ratios was included. The results indicated that natural frequencies were in accordance between modelling and signal analysis results, especially concerning high energy modes. Estimated damping ratios for the first vibration modes far exceeded the lower limit value specified in bridge design codes and railway bridge dynamic analysis recommendations. / QC 20101124
