Šiaulių universiteto gimnazijos veiklos strategija / The strategy of Šiauliai university activity

The strategy of Šiauliai gymnasium activity is grounded in this Master’s work. The research deals in what direction the gymnasium should go in order to offer effectively the service of university gymnasium. The theoretical analysis of changes in the management of educational organization, as well as the formation of the school’s strategy have been carried out. The interior and exterior environment of Šiauliai university gymnasium has been analysed, and the teachers’ interviewing was carried out. The obtained data have been summarized using SSGG analysis method. After carrying out the analysis of scientific literature, the exterior environment of the gymnasium, the interior resources and SSGG, it became clear that Šiauliai university gymnasium should work out such spheres which are necessary for the school of university gymnasium type. The research allows to distinguish the following strategic directions: together with the integral educational activity with Šiauliai university to educate a responsible and independent personality, to strengthen the pedagogical and professional competences of teachers, and to improve the methodological and material background of the gymnasium. A special attention should be paid to the exclusive branch of the gymnasium – development of activities of “Mažasis universitetas”. The research data add to the theoretical model of the gymnasium with the model of specific university gymnasium.

Patyčių prevencijos gimnazijoje organizavimo ir įgyvendinimo ypatumai / Peculiarities of organising and implementing prevention of bullying Gymnasia

Patyčios – toks agresorių elgesys, kai negalinčiam pasipriešinti asmeniui nuolat sukeliamas fizinis ar psichologinis diskomfortas. Kadangi šis reiškinys labai paplitęs įvairiose žmonių bendruomenėse: pradedant ikimokyklinėmis įstaigomis ir baigiant akademine bendruomene ar darbo kolektyvais, todėl būtina patyčių prevencija – veiklų, kuriomis siekiama užkirsti nusikalstamo elgesio riziką, visuma, skirta asmenų psichiniam ir fiziniam saugumui užtikrinti. Patyčias, jų prevenciją nagrinėja užsienio ir Lietuvos mokslininkai. Daugiausia dėmesio skiriama šio reiškinio analizei jaunes-niųjų klasių grupėje, tačiau patyčios aktualios ir vyresnių klasių mokiniams. Todėl magistro darbe analizuojamas patyčių prevencijos organizavimas ir įgyvendinimas išgrynintoje gimnazijoje, kurioje mokosi 15 – 19 metų mokiniai. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, jog patyčios aktualios gimnazijoje, tačiau prevenciniuose renginiuose, kuriuos organizuoja socialinė pedagogė, mokinių taryba, klasių auklėtojos, dalyvauja tik dalis mokinių, ypač neaktyvūs vaikinai. Respondentų nuomone, sėkmingiausiai patyčių prevenciją sekasi įgyvendinti renginius organizuojant ne gimnazijoje, kviečiantis lektorius – žinomus Lietuvos žmones, priimant aiškias mokinių elgesio taisykles, parengtas vadovaujantis ugdymo įstaigos bendruomenės siūlymais, efektyvinant gimnazistų saugumo stebėseną, teikiant individualias konsultacijas, mokinių elgesį svarstant mokytojų posėdžių metu. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Bullying is an aggressor‘s behaviour when a person unable to resist is put under constant physical and psychological discomfort. Since this phenomenon is widely spread in different human communities, starting with pre - school educational institutions and finishing with academic community and working associations, thus, prevention of bullying is an urgent matter as a whole complex of actions seeking to prvent the risk of criminal behaviour, to guarantee a person‘s psychic and physical security. Bullying and its prevention is analysed by foreign and Lithanian scientists.The greatest attention is needed to analyse this phenomenon in the group of younger classes, however, bullying occurs among senior studentas as well. That is why organising and implementation of bullying prevention is analysed in the master‘s work in refined gymnasia with students aged 15 -19. Research results show that bullying is an acute problem in gymnasia but preventional activities organised by a social pedagogue, students‘ council, class teachers are attended only by part of the students, boys being especially inactive. Magistro darbo tikslas – ištirti organizacijos kultūros formavimo aspektus Šiaulių miesto gimnazijose, panaudojant Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), sukurtą K. S. Cameron ir R. E. Quinn. Darbe išanalizuoti ir susisteminti įvairių Lietuvos ir užsienio autorių darbai ir tyrimai organizacijos kultūros formavimo bei keitimo klausimais. Buvo pastebėta, kad organizacijos kultūra turi ypatingą reikšmę organizacijai, jos veiklos efektyvumui, strategijai, įvaizdžio formavimui. Taip pat pabrėžtinas ypatingas vadovo vaidmuo organizacijos kultūros formavimo bei keitimo procese. Ištyrus Šiaulių miesto gimnazijų vadovų bei darbuotojų nuostatas apie organizacijose dominuojantį kultūros tipą, autorės suformuluota primoji hipotezė pasitvirtino iš dalies: visose gimnazijose be klano kultūros pastebimas ir kitų kultūrų dominavimas; antroji hipotezė pasitvirtino: pastebimas visų vadovų pritarimas adhokratinei kultūrai ateityje. / The aim of this paper is to analyze the aspects of shaping organizational culture in Šiauliai gymnasiums using Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), developed by K. S. Cameron and R. E. Quinn. Works and researches of Lithuanian and foreign authors on the issues of shaping and changing organizational culture have been analyzed and systematized. It should be noted, that organizational culture has a special influence on organization, its performance and effectiveness, strategy, and image formation. Also, a specific role of leaders in the process of shaping and changing organizational culture should be emphasized. Having accomplished attitudes of Šiauliai gymnasiums leaders and personnel towards dominant type of culture in the organizations the first hypothesis has been proved partly: apart from clan culture dominance of other types has also been noted; the second hypothesis has been proved: all leaders approve of adhocracy in the future.

The unity of the first gymnasium classes in analysed in the article, the main differences of community unity are revealed in newly formed, formed and partly reformed classes, the differences between girls and boys are revealed on this point. The results of analysis show that the greatest community unito of classes is in newly formed and non–reformed classes.It is most difficult to rally the community in partly reformed classes because it is difficult for new pupils to join the class community which has already been formed.The index of class community depends on the pupils‘ sex. It is larger between boys and less between girls. The emocional index is larger among girls.

Pateiktos rekomendacijos socialinio pedagogo darbo tobulinimui. / A concluding thesis by Kazimieras Grinkevičius postgraduate of Vilnius Pedagogical University, Institute of Social Communication, Department of Social Pedagogy, named “The attitude of gymnasist's to gymnasium social pedagogue and his duties at school”, supervisor dr. Romas Prakapas, is written after a thorough analysis of pedagogical and psychological literature, legal documents. The aim of his papers is to evaluate attitude of gymnasist's to social pedagogue and his duties at school. It was assumed, that part of gymnasist's don't know who is a social pedagogue and what his daily duties at school, how he could help them. Analysis of literature and inquiry of gymnasist's were made. Investigative's were selected from two gymnasium city of Vilnius. 409 students take part in the survey. Statistical data has been analyzed with Statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS 14.0 for Windows).Quantitative analysis were made. Two statistical procedures to analyzed statistical data – computation of percentile frequency of the answers, mean of estimations – were made. The results have reveled, that part of gymnasist's didn't know who is a social pedagogue and what his daily do at school.

Mokykloms, kaip ir kitoms organizacijoms, būdinga organizacijos kaita, nors jų bendruomenė ir yra linkusi išlaikyti status quo, dėl dažnai suprantamo kultūros išsaugojimo, kaip konkrečios visuomenės stabilumo garanto, misijos supratimo. Taigi, mokytojo misija tampa būti tuo įžvalgiu liudininku tarp visuomenės suprastų pokyčių būtinumo ir mokyklos bendruomenės, besivadovaujančios tradicija. Vadinasi, mokyklos tapimas besimokančia organizacija įtakotų sėkmingesnį šios misijos atlikimą. Ši idėja remiasi daugelio mokslininkų darbais, kuriuose akcentuojama, kad mokymasis tampa esminiu individo sėkmingos karjeros ir organizacijos išlikimo veiksniu bei sėkmingo vystymosi ir prisitaikymo prie kintančios aplinkos garantu. Thus, school becoming a learning organization would facilitate successful implementation of this mission. Magistro darbo pagrindinis tikslas ištirti Šiaulių universiteto gimnazijos moksleivių turistinių kelionių poreikius. Nepatenkinti šio segmento poreikiai – tai nauji turizmo produktai, kuriuos gali pasiūlyti besiplečianti turizmo rinka. Pirmojoje magistro darbo dalyje teoriniu aspektu išanalizuota paslaugos, vartotojo sampratos bei poreikių atsiradimo priežastys. Analizė paremta gimnazistų turistinių kelionių, kuriose jie dalyvavo su tėvais ar mokykla vertinimais bei pageidavimais, į kuriuos reikėtų atsižvelgti organizuojant gimnazistams skirtas keliones. Gauti tyrimo rezultatai parodė, jog gimnazijos moksleivių pagrindinis poreikis – savarankiškumas, kuris pasireikštų renkantis bendrakeleivius, formuojant kelionės maršrutą, kelionės trukmę. Kita vertus Šiaulių universiteto gimnazijos moksleiviai prisitaikė prie esamos situacijos, nes didžioji dalis respondentų patenkinti įvykusiomis turistinėmis kelionėmis. Jose sužinojo daug naujo bei pritarė mokyklinių turistinių kelionių skaičiui per metus. / The main aim of Master Thesis is to research touristic journey needs of Siauliai University Gymnasium pupils. Unsatisfied needs of this segment are the new tourism products, which can be offered by developing tourism market. In the first part of Master Thesis the services, consumer’s conceptions and the reasons of arising needs are analyzed in theoretical aspect. The analysis is based on evaluations of touristic journeys of gymnasium pupils, where they participated together with parents or school, and requests which should be taken into account while organizing journeys, intended for pupils of gymnasium. Received research results revealed that the main need of Gymnasium pupils is independence, which can be revealed by choosing fellow passengers, planning route and time for travelling. On the other hand the pupils of Siauliai University Gymnasium adjusted to the current situation, as the bigger part of respondents are satisfied with touristic journeys. They found out much during them and approved the number of school touristic journeys during the year.

Aptariami subalansuotų rodiklių sistemos naudojimo skirtumai viešajame ir privačiame sektoriuose. Išsamiai analizuojama bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų situacija Lietuvoje, Šiaulių regione, Radviliškio rajone. Radviliškio Vaižganto gimnazijos išorinės ir vidinės aplinkų, SSGG analizė, mokinių, tėvų ir mokytojų apklausos apie gimnazijos vystymo prioritetus rezultatai leido išskirti gimnazijos vystymo kryptis – viziją, vertybes, siekius ir jų įgyvendinimą visuose organizacijos lygmenyse. Pateikti Radviliškio Vaižganto gimnazijos subalansuotų rodiklių sistemos sąvadas ir strateginis žemėlapis. Tyrimu ir rezultatais patvirtinta autorės suformuluota mokslinė hipotezė, kad Vaižganto gimnazijai tikslinga tobulinti strateginį veiklos valdymą pagal subalansuotų rodiklių sistemą, vadovautis subalansuotų rodiklių sistemos strateginiu žemėlapiu. / This master’s work deals with problems of strategic management according balanced scorecard system in general education. It analyses and systemizes theoretical and practical research about strategic management. The balanced scorecard system is presented as useful method of strategic management and effective tool pf performance measurement. Detailed analysis of general education situation in Lithuania, Šiauliai region, Radviliškis district is given. After carrying out the analysis of scientific literature, the exterior environment of Radviliškis vaižgantas gymnasium, the interior resources and SWOT a strategic management system of Radviliškis Vaižgantas gymnasium - balanced scorecard and strategic map has been presented. The scientific hypothesis was proved: taking in concert the importance of strategic management it is necessary for Radviliškis Vaižgantas gymnasium to choose the appropriate tool for improving strategic management in order to enhance organizations competitive capabilities to develop, an it is purposeful to use the innovative experience – balanced scorecard system.
